The animated film KPop Demon Hunters quickly became a worldwide hit, reaching the top of Netflix's global charts with over 33 million views in just two weeks. The highly acclaimed film KPop Demon Hunters has been the subject of some research due to its notable accomplishment. Yet, none of the research above discusses the symbolism that is richly put in the movie. Thus, the research attempts to elaborate on the representation of symbolism in order to provide an alternative viewpoint of the Kpop Demon Hunters, particularly the well-known villain, the Saja Boys. In order to study the underlying meaning of the Saja Boys, the author employs the qualitative method and applies Vrabel's study of deadly sin in relation to the religious symbol. This study concludes that the members of the Saja Boys represent symbolism of the deadly sins, which are anger, envy, greed, lust, pride, gluttony, and sloth. These vices are shown from the behavior of the Saja Boys, such as barking towards fans aggressively, being envious of one’s freedom and happiness, stocking food as much as possible, giving sexual gratification through physical appearance, and being overly proud of it. Not only that, the members of Saja Boys also portrayed the action of overconsumption and laziness.

This study analyzes the economic phenomenon known as the "Purbaya Effect" in the Indonesian capital market during the second half of 2025. This phenomenon is characterized by a significant surge in the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG), which broke the All-Time High (ATH) record 21 times within four months following the appointment of Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as Minister of Finance. Using a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative market data analysis and qualitative policy review, this research finds that the "Purbaya Effect" is driven by aggressive liquidity injection policies (Rp 200 trillion), institutional trust built during his tenure at LPS, and strong narrative economics. However, this study also identifies significant risks related to exchange rate volatility and potential economic overheating. The findings suggest that while the "Purbaya Effect" successfully restored short-term investor confidence, long-term sustainability depends on the balance between growth acceleration and macroeconomic stability.

The development of social media as part of digital technology has significantly transformed patterns of social interaction among adolescents in Indonesia. Social media no longer functions solely as a medium for communication and self-expression, but also as a social space that influences behavioral formation, including deviant and criminal behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media on juvenile criminal behavior from a criminological perspective, with particular attention to social learning processes and the weakening of social control in digital environments. This research employs a qualitative method using a literature study approach by examining scientific journals, official reports, and statistical data related to social media use and adolescent behavior. The findings indicate that high intensity of social media use, exposure to negative content, and the normalization of aggressive behavior in digital spaces contribute to increased vulnerability of adolescents to criminal behaviors such as cyberbullying, online aggression, and other forms of deviance. Within the framework of Social Learning Theory, social media serves as a medium for behavioral learning through mechanisms of observation, imitation, and social reinforcement, while Social Control Theory highlights how weak supervision by families and educational institutions amplifies the risk of deviant behavior. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of preventive, non-penal approaches through strengthening social control, improving digital literacy, and enhancing the active role of families and schools to minimize the risk of juvenile criminal behavior in the digital era.

Children with emotional and behavioral difficulties are children who have trouble adjusting to their social environment. This can affect their academic and functional abilities in daily life. Children with emotional dysregulation and aggressive behavior are particularly vulnerable to experiencing a series of social problems due to their emotional and behavioral difficulties. Therefore, emotional and behavioral intervention is needed to help them develop new adaptive behaviors and reduce maladaptive behaviors. One intervention method that is often used to reduce children's abberant behavior is CBT, especially the CBT-AAC model, which focuses on three dimensions, namely anger management skills, problem-solving skills, and social skills. This study used the SSR (Single Subject Research) research model on a 15-year-old boy with behavioral problems (Conduct Disorder) with symptoms of aggressive dominance. The CBT program was implemented with a total of 5 meetings using various approaches that focused on the child's aggressive problems. The behavior frequency graph then showed a significant decrease in aggressive behavior and positive changes in the cognitive process.

Bullying behavior in elementary schools, characterized by the intentional harm of others, can manifest as teasing, harsh words, intimidation, and physical actions. It involves aggressive and repeated behavior aimed at demeaning others, which can significantly impact victims. Repeated bullying can lead to psychological issues, hindering students' ability to engage in the learning process, communicate with peers, and interact at home. Bullying in schools can result in mental health problems like anxiety and depression, academic struggles such as poor performance and truancy, and social challenges like difficulty forming relationships. Long-term effects may include trauma, low self-esteem, and even self-harm. To prevent bullying, schools should adopt a holistic approach that includes collaboration with parents and students. Strategies involve character education to promote empathy and respect, establishing clear school policies, and creating a safe, supportive environment. Raising awareness through anti-bullying campaigns and providing psychological support for victims, along with intervention for perpetrators, can further contribute to reducing bullying. Engaging the entire school community in these efforts is crucial to creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where bullying is actively prevented.

Drug abuse remains a serious problem in Indonesia, including in Jambi Province. Its effects are not only physical but also psychological, with aggressive behavior being one of the common consequences. Family support is considered a protective factor that can reduce aggression among inmates with a history of drug abuse. This study aims to describe family support, aggressive behavior, and the relationship between family support and aggressive behavior among inmates who are victims of drug abuse at Class II B Muara Sabak Prison. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design and survey method. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, consisting of drug-related inmates at Class II B Muara Sabak Prison who met the inclusion criteria. The instruments used were the Family Support Scale and the Aggression Behavior Scale. Data were analyzed using correlation tests. The findings revealed a significant negative correlation between family support and aggressive behavior, with a correlation coefficient of r = -0.657. This indicates that higher family support is associated with lower levels of aggressive behavior, both physical and verbal. Family support plays an important role in reducing aggressive behavior among inmates with a history of drug abuse. Correctional rehabilitation programs are recommended to strengthen family involvement in consistently providing support.

This study aims to examine how profits and company size affect tax avoidance in energy companies listed on the stock exchange between 2022 and 2024. This study applies a quantitative approach using secondary data from annual financial reports. The population data was taken from 18 energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the sample selection was conducted using purposive sampling. The main phenomenon affecting the test results is the existence of incentives for highly profitable companies to engage in tax avoidance due to the potential for more significant tax savings. In addition, large companies usually have more resources and complex organizational structures, which give them more opportunities to carry out innovative and aggressive tax planning. It is hoped that this study can offer a fresh understanding of tax avoidance practices in the energy sector in Indonesia. The impact of this study is important for authorities to understand the relationship between corporate profitability, entity size, and tax avoidance practices, especially in the energy sector, which plays a strategic role. This understanding can assist in formulating more appropriate taxation policies to maintain economic stability and fiscal justice. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on business entities in the energy sector listed on the Stock Exchange from 2022 to 2024, which is a dynamic period marked by global commodity price fluctuations, changes in energy policy, and significant geopolitical challenges.

Indonesia's tax ratio remains below the 15 percent threshold recommended by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), reflecting a significant gap in tax revenue collection. This low ratio may indicate the presence of aggressive tax planning strategies, including tax avoidance practices, particularly among multinational enterprises. This study aims to empirically examine the relationship between multinationality, transfer pricing aggressiveness, and the use of tax havens on tax avoidance. The research focuses on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019–2023. A total of 64 companies were selected as samples through purposive sampling based on specific criteria, including the availability of relevant financial data and disclosure of international operations. The variables analyzed include the degree of multinationality, transfer pricing aggressiveness as proxied by related party transactions, and involvement with tax haven jurisdictions. The dependent variable, tax avoidance, is measured using the effective tax rate (ETR) approach. Data were processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of STATA version 17. The findings of the study reveal that multinationality and transfer pricing aggressiveness do not have a significant relationship with tax avoidance. In contrast, the use of tax haven countries is positively associated with tax avoidance, suggesting that firms utilizing tax havens are more likely to engage in practices that reduce their tax liabilities. These results have implications for tax authorities in identifying and addressing high-risk corporate behaviors related to offshore financial structures. The study contributes to the literature on international taxation by providing empirical evidence from a developing country context.

This study examines the influence of financial factors on the capital structure of basic chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2019 to 2023. The sample selection method used is purposive sampling, with specific criteria resulting in a sample of 51 companies and a total of 255 data points. After data processing, 80 outliers were identified, reducing the final sample to 175 company data points. This research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 25. The findings reveal that profitability, asset structure, company size, and business risk have a significant impact on capital structure. In contrast, sales growth and dividend policy do not show a significant contribution to capital structure. Based on these findings, it is recommended that companies in the basic chemical manufacturing sector focus on improving profitability, optimizing asset structure, and managing business risks effectively to strengthen their capital structure. Additionally, company size should be considered when making financing decisions. Since sales growth and dividend policy were not significant factors, firms might prioritize internal financial management and risk control over aggressive sales expansion or dividend adjustments when aiming to optimize their capital structure. Future research could explore other potential factors or use alternative methodologies to deepen understanding in this area.

The impact of earnings management practices in banking companies is a consideration of the importance of research on earnings management that discusses how to reduce and control aggressiveness and deviations from earnings management so as to maintain the credibility and quality of information presented by financial reports. This article aims to observe and analyze the development of research on the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) in reducing discretionary accruals in Islamic banking. This article uses a qualitative approach to literature study by analyzing articles originating from previous research. Based on the results of the analysis of previous articles, a strong argument is provided that the Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) plays a significant but complex role in mitigating earnings management practices in Islamic banking. The effectiveness of the SSB's Sharia Supervisory Board, adequate qualifications and expertise (a combination of sharia and financial knowledge) are one of the most consistent determining factors, surpassing mere size or frequency of meetings. There is an academic gap for future research exploring moderating variables, real-world manipulation techniques, and the dynamics of interactions between governance elements within the dual structure that characterizes Islamic banking.

The Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) has great potential in improving food security and women's empowerment, but there are still gaps related to the effectiveness of the program in areas with certain geographical and social characteristics such as Kalolok Village, therefore this study is expected to provide theoretical contributions in the development of community-based empowerment models as well as practical contributions for village governments and stakeholders in designing sustainable empowerment strategies. This study uses the SWOT Analysis Method (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats Analysis). SWOT is used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the empowerment strategy applied to the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in the Context of the P2L Program in Batupapan Village. The results of the study using SWOT analysis The results of the IFAS analysis (2.67) and EFAS (2.57) indicate that the position of KWT Kalolok is in Quadrant I (Aggressive Strategy). This means that the group possesses significant internal strength and is supported by significant external opportunities. Therefore, development strategies need to focus on cultivation expansion, commodity diversification, technological innovation, marketing strengthening, and institutional development and internal capital. Therefore, developing cultivation innovations such as vertical farming/hydroponics is necessary to maximize limited land and providing intensive mentoring to assist in marketing produce through villages, village-owned enterprises (BUMDes), and local MSME networks.

Indonesia, as a pluralistic nation, faces serious challenges related to religious radicalism, often triggered by a literal understanding of sacred texts, including the Great Commission in Matthew 28:16–20. This study emphasizes the need for reinterpretation of this text, not as a mandate for Christianization, but as a call to disciple others in the spirit of love and tolerance. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review, offering novelty through a contextual reinterpretation approach, different from previous studies that tended to be textual. This approach seeks to understand the text within the social and cultural context of pluralistic Indonesia, emphasizing values such as love, respect for pluralism, and honoring religious diversity. The findings show that this reinterpretation aligns with the values of Pancasila and can contribute to preventing the seeds of radicalism while strengthening interfaith harmony. By promoting inclusivity and peace, Christian mission can be a positive force in maintaining religious harmony in Indonesia. In conclusion, the Christian mission must shift from an exclusive paradigm focused on aggressive proselytization to a theocentric paradigm that embraces pluralism and promotes interfaith tolerance, to achieve peace amid the diversity of Indonesian society.

The modern doctrine of criminal responsibility is built on the premise of free will and individual deliberative capacity. However, advances in neurogenetics, particularly findings regarding MAOA-L gene expression, have presented a structural disruption to this framework. The MAOA-L gene has been empirically associated with impaired impulse regulation and increased aggressive responses, particularly in combination with childhood trauma. This study aims to evaluate how MAOA-L gene expression influences the capacity for criminal responsibility and to analyze the tension between classical legal constructs and biological determinants within the structure of culpability. The research method employed normative research with a conceptual approach. The results indicate that the dichotomy-based mens rea doctrine fails to accommodate the degree of control capacity shaped by neurobiological structures. MAOA-L cannot be treated as a basis for forgiveness, but rather serves as an evaluative variable in assessing the spectrum of legal responsibility. In this position, criminal law maintains the principle of individual responsibility but formulates it through a new framework based on actual capacity rather than a universal voluntaristic assumption. This reformulation is necessary to avoid disproportionate attribution of blame and to allow criminal law to move toward a system that is more adaptive to biological realities without falling into determinism.

This study aims to examine how family conflict resolution is represented in the 2024 Korean drama Queen of Tears. The research employed a qualitative approach using content analysis, focusing on 16 episodes that highlight family conflict dynamics and resolution strategies. The analysis concentrated on the evolution of communication patterns among characters throughout the storyline. The findings reveal that the drama portrays a transformation from destructive to constructive communication. In the early stages, conflicts are characterized by closed communication, passive-aggressive behavior, triangulation, and false assumptions. However, as the story progresses, these patterns shift toward open, empathetic, assertive, and collaborative communication, allowing for healthier and more adaptive resolutions. Furthermore, the study identifies the influence of Korean cultural values such as jeong (emotional bonds), nunchi (social sensitivity), face-saving, and collectivism in shaping how characters handle conflicts and reach reconciliation. This representation not only reflects the complexity of conflict within the Korean cultural context but also provides audiences with practical models for conflict resolution. Consequently, the drama serves not only as a form of entertainment but also as an educational medium that promotes effective family communication. The findings of this research contribute significantly to studies on family communication, media representation, and popular culture, offering insights into how television narratives can shape perceptions of interpersonal relationships and conflict management strategies.

This research aims to formulate a business development strategy for AK Laundry, a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) located in Palembang that operates in the laundry service industry. As competition in this sector continues to intensify, MSMEs are required to adapt quickly through effective strategic planning. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, direct observations, documentation, and questionnaires, ensuring a holistic understanding of both internal and external conditions. The analysis was carried out using the SWOT framework, which identifies internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. The findings reveal that AK Laundry possesses several strengths, including good relationships with its loyal customer base, competitive pricing that appeals to a wide range of market segments, and a strategic location that facilitates accessibility. However, weaknesses were also identified, such as limited promotional efforts, particularly in digital channels, and occasional delays in completing customer orders, which may affect satisfaction and trust. From an external perspective, AK Laundry has opportunities to expand its services, particularly through the growing demand for pickup and delivery facilities, as well as changes in consumer lifestyles that increasingly prioritize practicality and efficiency. Nevertheless, the enterprise must also address potential threats, such as intense competition in pricing strategies among similar businesses and the risk of item loss, which could undermine its reputation. Based on the SWOT matrix, AK Laundry is positioned in Quadrant I, indicating that it holds considerable potential for aggressive growth. Therefore, the recommended strategies include strengthening digital marketing initiatives, introducing innovative services to differentiate from competitors, enhancing employee competencies through training programs, and upgrading equipment to improve service quality and speed. These strategies are expected to help AK Laundry leverage its strengths and opportunities effectively, ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness in the MSME laundry service sector.
