Stress is a common phenomenon experienced by university students due to academic and social pressures in the campus environment. This study aims to analyze the factors causing stress among students and its impact on their mental health. Using a phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and field observations with students from various backgrounds. The findings reveal that factors such as academic workload, adaptation to new environments, financial issues, and social pressures are primary sources of stress. This stress can lead to mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and reduced academic performance. The study highlights the importance of campus interventions in providing mental support and developing stress management programs for students. With this understanding, students are expected to better manage stress, maintain mental balance, and improve their quality of life in academic settings.

This study aims to examine the relationship between workload and performance of medical support staff at PKU Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo Hospital. The healthcare system is constantly growing, and medical support staff play a vital role in ensuring quality care. However, an excessive workload can negatively impact employee performance. This quantitative research employs a cross-sectional approach and includes 76 medical support staff as respondents. The workload was measured using indicators such as job conditions, time usage, and target achievement, while performance was assessed based on work quality, quantity, collaboration, responsibility, and initiative. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis statistical test. The findings show that 6.6% of the staff experience a heavy workload, 48.7% a moderate workload, and 44.7% a light workload. In terms of performance, 1.3% have poor performance, 25% moderate, and 73.7% good. The statistical analysis reveals a significant relationship between workload and performance (p-value = 0.001), indicating that higher workloads lead to decreased performance. This study highlights the importance of managing workload effectively to maintain employee performance in medical support services.

PT Efrata Garmindo Utama Sukoharjo itself operates in the retail sector which makes batik clothes (men, women and children) with its flagship brand, namely Bateeq. This research is a survey with quantitative data, namely data on the number of employees and the number of respondents to the questionnaire. Primary data in this research is the result of distributing questionnaires given to employees of PT Efrata Garmindo Utama. The population in this study were all employees of PT Efrata Garmindo Utama, totaling 502 employees. The sample in this study was narrowed using the Slovin formula to 85 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. Test research instruments with validity and reliability tests, classic assumption tests including multicollinearity tests, autocorrelation tests, heteroscedasticity tests and normality tests. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and R² test. The results of the validity test for all instruments obtained a significance value = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that all instruments were valid. Reliability test results for all reliable variables. The results of the multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, normality test for all variables passed the test. The results of the multiple linear regression test obtained the regression equation Y = 17.062 + 27.571 X₁ – 47.771 X₂ + 0.013 The results of the t test for the work ethic variable have no significant effect on employee performance with ρ-value = 0.378 > 0.05. Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with ρ-value = 0.012 < 0.05. Work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with ρ-value = 0.000< 0.05. The results of the F test show a calculated F of 34.876 with a ρ-value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that the model used to test the influence of the independent variables is variable X1 (work ethic), variable X2 (work discipline) and variable X3 (work motivation) on The dependent variable, namely employee performance (Y), is correct. The R² test results obtained a value (Adjusted R²) of 0.574, meaning that the contribution of the independent influence of variable X1 (work ethic), variable X2 (work discipline) and variable X3 (work motivation) to Y (employee performance) was 54.7%. The remainder (100% - 54.7%) = 45.3% is explained by other variables outside the model, for example quality of work life, workload, work environment, job satisfaction and leadership style.

This study evaluates the policy implementation of the face recognition system at Surabaya Gubeng Station as a digital innovation in public service by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero). Using a qualitative approach and the policy evaluation model by William N. Dunn, the study assesses six key indicators: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, responsiveness, accuracy, and equity. The findings indicate that the system is effective in accelerating the boarding process, reducing queues, and improving passenger convenience. Efficiency is achieved through reduced staff workload and automated identity verification. However, several challenges remain, including technical disruptions, data input errors, and low digital literacy among users. Personal data protection is also a concern as most users are not fully aware of how their biometric data is managed. Therefore an adaptive governance strategy is needed, involving infrastructure improvement, staff training, public education, and greater transparency in data policy. With these measures, the face recognition system can serve not only as a tool for technical efficiency but also as a form of inclusive and sustainable public service transformation.

This research explores increasing the efficiency of network resource use through load balancing techniques. Load balancing distributes workload evenly among servers to optimize resource usage, maximize throughput, and minimize response time. We compare various load balancing algorithms, such as round-robin, least connections, and least response time, in various network scenarios. Experimental results show that proper load balancing techniques can reduce response time by up to 30% and increase resource usage efficiency by up to 40%. This study highlights the importance of selecting appropriate algorithms based on network traffic and workload characteristics. Implementing effective load balancing strategies can improve the quality of network services and ensure even distribution of workloads, providing practical guidance for network administrators to optimize network performance and efficiency.

PT Kimia Farmasi North Sumatra faces significant occupational health and safety problems, including high levels of worker absenteeism due to illness and significant levels of work accidents. Factors that influence this condition include exposure to dangerous chemicals, high workloads, and a lack of awareness and understanding of the importance of maintaining health in the workplace. To overcome this problem, companies can increase employee awareness through education and training programs, strengthen policies related to occupational health and safety, and improve the work environment. Companies must also improve human resource management policies related to occupational health and safety. In this way, companies can improve the quality of the work environment and company policies related to employee health and safety, as well as increase employee awareness about the importance of occupational health and safety.

work stress is becoming an increasingly important issue in the workplace safety (K3) perspective. Factors that influence work stress have a significant impact on employee health and organizational productivity. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that contribute to the level of work stress and its impact on K3. The research method used is a literature study that investigates various factors that can cause work stress, including excessive workload, role conflict, lack of control over work, lack of social support, job insecurity, and unsafe working conditions. In addition, the impact of work stress on K3 has also been analyzed, including an increased risk of work accidents, reduced attention span, and increased risk of physical and mental illness. Research shows that factors such as high job demands, lack of job control, and unsafe work environments contribute significantly to workplace stress levels. In addition, work stress also negatively affects K3, increasing the risk of accidents and occupational diseases. The practical implications of these findings are that organizations can influence workplace stress through intervention programs such as stress management training, encouraging work-life balance, increasing social support, and improving managed work conditions. Therefore, these initiatives not only improve K3 and employee well-being, but also help improve productivity and performance throughout the organization.
