This study investigates the influence of financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, and financial inclusion on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through business sustainability. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) examines the impact of financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, and financial inclusion on MSME performance through business sustainability mediation by synthesizing empirical data from 12 research (2020–2025) across Scopus and Web of Science. Positive direct effects on sustainability (financial literacy via budgeting/risk management; training via adaptive resilience; inclusiveness via digital access) and performance metrics like profitability/growth are confirmed by results using the PRISMA 2020 flow.  Amid obstacles like financial access restrictions and COVID-19 disruptions, business sustainability appears as a crucial mediator, linking these factors to improved MSME results in developing contexts (Africa, Indonesia). Practical implications compel policymakers to give integrated literacy programs, contextual training, and inclusive finance top priority. Theoretical contributions combine financial literacy, entrepreneurial learning, and sustainability ideas into a holistic mediation model. The results highlight the importance of integrating financial education, entrepreneurial skill development, and inclusive financial systems to strengthen MSME resilience and competitiveness. This study provides practical implications for policymakers, financial institutions, and support organisations in designing effective interventions that foster sustainable business growth. The research also contributes theoretically by confirming the mediating role of business sustainability in the relationship between financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, financial inclusion, and MSME performance. Future studies may expand these insights by examining additional contextual factors such as digital technology adoption and business networking that further support sustainable MSME development.

Global environmental challenges require active engagement from all sectors, including education. For Muslim youth, awareness of environmental sustainability aligns with Islamic ethical principles such as stewardship (khalifah), justice (ʿadl), and social welfare (maslahah). This study examines the influence of green economy education within Islamic higher education on students’ eco-literacy, ethical awareness, and sustainable economic behavior. A quantitative approach was employed using a structured questionnaire distributed to students from both Islamic economics and non-economics programs. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, and one-way ANOVA to identify differences in environmental knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. Findings show that students with an Islamic economics background consistently achieve higher scores in knowledge, attitudes, and behavioral engagement related to sustainability compared to non-Islamic economics students. Integrating Islamic ethical values into the curriculum provides a holistic framework for internalizing sustainability principles, encouraging students to translate ethical knowledge into practical action. Pedagogical strategies such as project-based learning, reflective exercises, and experiential programs further enhance engagement and eco-conscious behavior. The study highlights the critical role of Islamic education in fostering a generation of ethically aware and environmentally responsible students. By embedding moral and ecological principles in academic programs, educational institutions can strengthen students’ capacity for sustainable decision-making and support broader goals of responsible economic and environmental stewardship.

This research investigates integrated maritime workforce resilience and mental health management frameworks addressing post-pandemic seafarer wellbeing challenges and organizational safety culture transformation. Through qualitative analysis involving 39 stakeholders including seafarers, ship operators, mental health professionals, maritime unions, training institutions, and maritime authorities, this study examines how COVID-19 pandemic intensified mental health crises through extended contracts, shore leave restrictions, and isolation while exposing systemic inadequacies in psychological support systems. Results demonstrate that comprehensive mental health frameworks can reduce psychological distress by 55-70%, improve safety performance by 40-55%, enhance crew retention by 45-60%, and decrease incident rates by 35-50% when integrating organizational culture change, leadership competency development, predictive analytics, and culturally-adapted interventions. Key challenges include mental health stigma (affecting 65-80% of seafarers), limited organizational investment (only 18-25% adequate), service accessibility gaps, and workforce demographic diversity requiring culturally-sensitive approaches. Findings reveal that effective mental health management requires systemic organizational transformation integrating psychological wellbeing into safety management systems, work design optimization, family support programs, and career sustainability rather than treating mental health as peripheral welfare concern, supporting maritime industry's workforce retention and operational safety imperatives.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection leading to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) remains a global public health issue, with 39 million people living with HIV worldwide in 2022. Although X Hospital in Malang City provides a comprehensive care program, internal data shows a significant level of non-adherence to antiretroviral (ARV) therapy, often in the form of irregular consumption or discontinuation of medication without medical recommendation. This observational study with a cross-sectional approach aims to identify the determinants of ARV non-adherence, involving 81 non-adherent AIDS patients at Hospital X through total sampling techniques. The characteristics of the respondents were dominated by males, highly educated, and working in the non-government sector, with the majority using the ARV regimen TLD, COTRIMOXAZOLE. The results of statistical analysis indicate that all eight determining variables tested show a highly significant positive correlation (p < 0.001) with non-compliance, meaning that the more severe the problems with these factors, the lower the patient compliance. Furthermore, the top five factors showed a very strong positive correlation (r > 0.80) with non-adherence, namely motivation/depression, social support, communication with service providers, treatment costs, and age or routine. These findings underscore that these five key determinants must be a crucial focus in designing and implementing targeted intervention strategies to effectively improve patient adherence to ARV therapy.

This study examines the effect of employee competency development, performance evaluation, and remuneration on employee performance at the Religious Affairs Offices (KUA) in West Jakarta. As a public institution responsible for delivering administrative and community religious services, KUA faces challenges in ensuring effective human resource performance amid bureaucratic constraints and limited performance-based incentives. The study aims to analyze how the three human resource management (HRM) dimensions competency development, evaluation, and remuneration affect overall employee performance. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using a structured questionnaire distributed to 120 employees across eight KUA offices. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by descriptive and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that performance evaluation and remuneration have significant positive effects on employee performance, while competency development shows a positive but statistically insignificant effect. The model explains 49% of the variation in employee performance, suggesting that transparent evaluation systems and performance-based remuneration play a greater role than training programs alone in improving public service effectiveness. The findings contribute to strategic HRM theory by confirming that evaluation and reward mechanisms strengthen the link between competency and performance. It is concluded that integrating developmental, evaluative, and compensatory functions within a unified HR framework can enhance productivity and accountability in Indonesia’s public sector institutions.

Mining activities in Indonesia result in significant environmental degradation, necessitating a robust legal framework for post-mining rehabilitation. However, enforcement is often hindered by normative overlaps between the Mining Law (No. 3/2020) and the Environmental Law (No. 32/2009), alongside a "supervisory vacuum" caused by recent centralization. This research evaluates the government's role in enforcing rehabilitation obligations and proposes a synchronized legal approach. Using a normative juridical method, the study identifies that authority fragmentation leads to a lack of accountability in reclamation fund management. Findings suggest that rehabilitation is frequently treated as a formal administrative procedure rather than a substantive ecological duty. Consequently, this study proposes a "Green Mining Governance" model that integrates environmental standards directly into mining permits (IUP) through a unified, inter-agency supervision system. This proposed framework integrates stringent environmental standards directly into the Mining Business Permit (IUP) and the annual Work Program and Budget (RKAB) through a unified, inter-agency supervision system. Such a reconstruction is essential to ensure that environmental restoration transcends formalistic requirements, evolving into a substantive legal obligation aimed at achieving long-term ecological justice and sustainable resource management.

Family planning represents a community-based effort to promote awareness and participation through delaying the age of marriage, regulating births, strengthening family resilience, and improving family welfare to achieve small, joyful, and prosperous families (Suriana et al., 2021). The government targets Couples of Reproductive Age (CRA) to reduce population growth in Indonesia, as CRA consists of legally married couples who actively engage in sexual relations that may result in pregnancy. In addition to CRA, postpartum mothers also serve as a key target group in family planning programs. The “Four Too” components contribute to high-risk pregnancies that may lead to complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, and maternal and infant mortality. These include being too young (under 20 years), too old (over 35 years), too many children (more than four), and too close birth spacing (less than two years) (Oktarina, 2022). This study employed a quantitative research design, specifically an analytical quantitative approach with a correlational design using the cross-sectional method. The sample consisted of 40 participants. The results show that 45% of respondents had a satisfactory level of knowledge about IUD contraception, 32.5% had a moderate level, and 22.5% had a low level of knowledge. In nursing practice, increasing knowledge about contraception—particularly IUD family planning—can enhance interest in its use. Moreover, the study recommends that husbands provide support for mothers in using IUD contraception.

The use of fossil-fueled vehicles has long been a major cause of exhaust emissions that pollute the air and exacerbate global climate change. In an effort to address this problem, Indonesia has begun developing electric vehicles as a more environmentally friendly alternative solution. Electric vehicles (EVs) are considered capable of reducing dependence on fossil fuels while simultaneously reducing air pollution levels. The Indonesian government has demonstrated its commitment to supporting electric vehicle development by issuing several strategic policies, including Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 55 of 2019 concerning the Acceleration of the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle Program for Road Transportation, and Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Use of Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicles as official vehicles for central and regional government agencies. In line with these policies, research was conducted to assess the power consumption efficiency of the Ken Dedes electric vehicle prototype, designed using a 250-watt DC motor and a mid-drive system. The main focus of this research was to analyze the effect of variations in module input voltage and gear size on the vehicle's power consumption level. The method used was an experimental approach with a quantitative approach, where a series of tests were conducted on several gear combinations and input voltage levels. The results of the study indicate that variations in these two parameters—gear size and input voltage—significantly affect motor power consumption. The most optimal combination in this study achieved a power consumption efficiency of 6 Wh/km. This figure demonstrates the most energy-efficient performance in vehicle operation and can serve as a benchmark for further development of similar electric vehicles. This research provides an important contribution to efforts to encourage the use of more efficient and sustainable electric vehicles in Indonesia.
