Medical emergency services demand swift and precise action; however, medical personnel are often hindered by the risk of criminalization resulting from unintended outcomes. Although Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health mandates the provision of assistance, the regulation has not yet provided explicit criminal protection for good-faith rescuers, thereby triggering the practice of defensive medicine. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Good Samaritan Law (GSL) concept as an alternative legal protection for health workers. The research methods employed are juridical-normative and juridical-empirical, utilizing statutory, comparative, and case approaches. The findings indicate that current regulations, including Article 531 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) and Law No. 17/2023, have limitations as they emphasize the obligation to assist rather than the protection of the rescuer. In comparison, the international GSL concept offers a standard of "limited immunity," which explicitly protects rescuers from civil and criminal liability, provided the actions are performed without gross negligence. The impact of implementing GSL in Indonesia is projected to provide stronger legal certainty than existing regulations, reduce the psychological burden on medical personnel in emergency situations, and encourage social solidarity without the fear of unnecessary lawsuits. The study concludes that the adoption of GSL is an urgent legal reconstruction to ensure the professional protection of health workers in Indonesia.

This study analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence on youth digital political engagement through a Structural Equation Modeling approach. The development of algorithmic technology has changed the way young people access, assess, and react to political information, requiring an empirical understanding of its mechanisms of influence. This study explores how digital literacy, trust in AI, and perceived usefulness shape online political participation. Data was obtained from an online questionnaire targeting individuals aged 17-30 who are active with AI, then analyzed using the SEM-PLS 4 method. The main findings reveal that digital literacy and trust in AI have a strong influence on perceived usefulness, which acts as a key mediator in encouraging such participation. This indicates that the impact of AI is not direct, but rather occurs through cognitive processes that guide young people in assessing the benefits of technology. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strengthening digital literacy, algorithm transparency, and responsible AI implementation to strengthen inclusive youth political participation in the digital environment.

This study analyzes the synergy between human resource development (HRD), work culture, and decision-making systems in enhancing productivity and organizational performance. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative literature review, with sources from peer-reviewed articles from 2021-2025 obtained through databases such as Google Scholar and ScienceDirect. The research findings indicate that HRD can improve employee competence by up to 28.7%, while work culture contributes 41.4-55% to motivation and collaboration within teams. Decision-making systems, such as AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and BI (Business Intelligence), play a role in optimizing operational efficiency by up to 65%. The synergy of these three elements forms a more adaptive organization to change. One example of the implementation of this synergy can be seen in PT X Jakarta, which experienced a 28% increase in output and employee satisfaction reached 85%. However, the main challenge faced is resistance to change, which can be overcome through effective communication. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for holistic organizational transformation, especially in Indonesia, to face the challenges of global disruption.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of artificial intelligence in economics learning within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum and to examine its alignment with deep learning principles. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design conducted at SMAN 1 Boyolali. The research participants included economics teachers and eleventh grade students. Data were collected through classroom observations, in depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the use of artificial intelligence in economics learning remains limited and has not been systematically integrated into pedagogical design. AI is primarily utilized as a supporting tool for lesson preparation and concept clarification rather than for adaptive learning, data driven assessment, or the enhancement of students’ critical thinking skills. Although students demonstrated positive responses toward AI assisted learning, several constraints were identified, including teachers’ limited pedagogical competence in AI integration, the absence of deep learning based instructional design, and infrastructural challenges. These findings suggest that the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in economics education depends not merely on technological availability, but on the alignment between pedagogy, curriculum policy, and human resource readiness.

Digital transformation has significantly reshaped human resource management (HRM) through the adoption of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, e-learning platforms, and remote work technologies. Although these innovations improve efficiency and decision-making, they also generate ethical challenges related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, transparency, and employee monitoring. This article examines the role of professional ethics in HRM within the context of digital transformation, highlighting both emerging challenges and potential opportunities. This study employs a conceptual research approach supported by a comprehensive literature review of scholarly works on HRM, professional ethics, and digitalization. The analysis focuses on core ethical principles such as integrity, fairness, responsibility, professionalism, and confidentiality, and evaluates their implementation in digital HR practices. The findings indicate that unethical use of digital technologies may lead to discrimination, reduced employee trust, and violations of individual rights, particularly through biased AI-based recruitment systems and opaque performance evaluation mechanisms. However, digital transformation also offers opportunities to strengthen ethical HR governance. The use of ethical data management, algorithmic audits, digital transparency, and e-learning-based ethics training can enhance accountability and fairness in HR processes. The study concludes that integrating professional ethics with digital HRM is essential for developing human-centered, sustainable, and trustworthy organizations in the digital era.

Taxes are the largest contributor to state revenue in financing national development. Tax compliance is the act of the taxpayer in fulfilling their tax obligations following the provisions of the legislation and tax implementation regulations in force in a country. Efforts made by the government to improve taxpayer compliance are by reforming tax laws and the tax administration system. This study aims to determine the effect of tax knowledge, tax sanctions, the benefit of the taxpayer identification number, and modern tax administration systems on personal taxpayer reporting compliance at the tax office in North Badung. The population of this research is personal taxpayers at the North Badung Tax Office Services, which is based on the data of individual taxpayers, as many as 95,542 people. The sample in this study consisted of 76 individual taxpayers who reported compliance, selected using a non-probability sampling method with an accidental sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the tax knowledge variable did not affect personal taxpayer compliance, while the tax sanctions variable, the benefit of the taxpayer identification number, taxpayer awareness, and the modern tax administration system had a positive effect on personal taxpayer reporting compliance. Further research can expand on this study by incorporating other variables that, in theory, influence taxpayer reporting compliance, such as tax services.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance on financial misreporting, with investor attention as a moderating variable in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2022 period. The theoretical framework is grounded in Agency Theory and Legitimacy Theory to explain the role of ESG as an internal control mechanism and a means of gaining external legitimacy. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from annual reports and sustainability reports. Financial misreporting is proxied by earnings management measured through discretionary accruals, while ESG performance is assessed using the GRI Standards index, and investor attention is proxied by institutional ownership. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The findings reveal that all three ESG dimensions (environmental, social, and governance) have a significant negative effect on earnings management. Institutional investor attention is found to strengthen the negative relationship between environmental and social aspects with earnings management, but weaken the influence of governance. These results indicate that institutional investors tend to be more responsive to environmental and social issues compared to governance aspects. Practically, this study provides empirical evidence that ESG implementation can serve as a control instrument against financial misreporting in the banking sector, while theoretically enriching the literature on investor moderation in the relationship between ESG and earnings management practices.

Managing Regional Public Service Agency (Badan Layanan Umum Daerah/BLUD) hospitals requires planning and budgeting processes that are accountable, measurable, and aligned with service performance. In practice, BLUD planning is still constrained by fragmented applications (hospital information system/SIMRS, finance, human resources, e-office, and procurement), duplicate data entry, approval delays, and limited monitoring of process compliance. This study aims to analyze requirements and design a web-based BLUD planning information system using an Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) approach through middleware to improve cross-system interoperability, data consistency, and the timeliness of executive reporting. The study adopts the Design Science Research (DSR) framework, comprising problem identification, definition of solution objectives, artifact design and development, demonstration, evaluation, and communication/report writing. The proposed system includes a unit-based budget proposal module and item management, a role-based approval workflow (RBAC) with SLA tracking, a budget ceiling (pagu) master to benchmark proposals, audit trails and report exports, and an executive dashboard integrating budget perspectives, service indicators (e.g., bed occupancy rate/BOR and patient visits), and process compliance. It also provides an integration design via middleware (ESB/message broker) supported by a canonical data model (CDM) and traceable logging (trace_id/correlation_id). Evaluation using black-box testing and API contract testing indicates that the main planning workflow operates as intended and the integration interfaces are consistently defined, providing a foundation for staged implementation and further performance evaluation.

The Mastery Learning Strategy is a learning approach oriented towards achieving comprehensive student competencies before they move on to the next material or learning stage. This approach is based on the assumption that every student has the potential to succeed, provided they are given the appropriate time, methods, and guidance. In its application, Mastery Learning emphasizes systematic learning planning, the establishment of clear learning objectives, and ongoing evaluation to measure the level of student mastery. Students who have not yet achieved competency standards will receive corrective feedback and remedial activities, while students who have completed them will be provided with enrichment programs to deepen their understanding. With this mechanism, learning gaps can be minimized so as not to hinder the learning process in the next stage. Furthermore, this strategy encourages individualized, structured, and measurable learning according to student needs. Therefore, the implementation of Mastery Learning is considered effective in improving the quality of the learning process, strengthening conceptual understanding, and contributing to optimal and sustainable learning outcomes.
