This study aims to analyze the manifestation of Indonesian unity values within the local wisdom of Kresnayana in Blitar Regency, particularly through the “Hasta Brata” performance. As a multicultural nation, Indonesia possesses diversity that represents both potential and challenge; therefore, strengthening unity values through various media, including local wisdom, is essential. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design to explore the experiences and involvement of cultural actors in the Kresnayana performance. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature review using snowball sampling techniques, and were analyzed inductively through data reduction, triangulation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Kresnayana, which originates from the reliefs of Penataran Temple, functions not only as a medium for cultural preservation but also as a means of educating unity values. In the “Hasta Brata” performance, the value of unity is reflected in the complementary relationship between Arjuna and Kresna; the value of togetherness is demonstrated through the cooperation between Anoman and Arjuna; the value of patriotism is evident in efforts to maintain world peace; and the value of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is illustrated through the unity of characters from diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, the festival serves as a contextual learning medium in Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) and supports the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile. Thus, Kresnayana represents a concrete manifestation of the implementation of unity values in community life through a local cultural approach.

The transportation of tiger shrimp postlarvae (Penaeus monodon) in aquaculture practice is a critical stage as it may induce physiological stress that directly reduces survival rate. Salinity, as a water quality parameter closely associated with osmoregulatory processes, is a key determinant of success in closed wet system transportation. The present study was designed to examine how varying salinity concentrations influence the survival percentage of PL 10 tiger shrimp postlarvae subjected to closed wet transport conditions, as well as to identify the most suitable salinity range for such transport. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was employed with five salinity levels as treatments — 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 ppt — each replicated five times. Each experimental unit contained 1,500 postlarvae in 1 L of oxygenated water packed in plastic bags and transported for approximately 3 hours. The main parameter observed was survival rate (SR), while supporting parameters included temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), and pH. Statistical evaluation included the Kolmogorov–Smirnov normality test, Levene’s test for variance homogeneity, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a significance level of α = 0.05. Results showed that salinity differences had a highly significant effect on postlarvae survival rate (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). The 25 ppt salinity treatment produced the highest survival rate of 99.64%, while 10 ppt resulted in the lowest at 63.78%. The measured water quality variables — temperature, dissolved oxygen, and pH — did not exert a statistically significant effect on postlarvae survival throughout the transport period.

Formal education systems are often trapped in rigid standardization that actually shackles students' creativity and personal uniqueness. This issue raises questions about the extent to which individual freedom is accommodated in modern curricula that tend to be pragmatic. Departing from this issue, this study aims to explore the relevance of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Romanticism which prioritizes affection and the general will in the context of education. Rousseau argued that the development of science and culture often acts as a chain that restrains humans, thus he proposed the concept of natural education that allows children's instincts to develop freely without damaging cultural intervention. Using qualitative methods based on literature review, this research identified a strong common ground between Rousseau's vision and Indonesia's Freedom to Learn policy. The study reveals that both share a common philosophical foundation: restoring educational sovereignty to institutions and students, allowing them to independently develop their potential, talents, and interests. Therefore, synchronizing Rousseau's ideas with Freedom to Learn serves as a crucial foundation for creating a higher-quality and more humane national education ecosystem.

This study examines the impact of the presence of PT Toba Agro Mandiri on the livelihoods of the community in Pohan Julu Village, Siborong-borong District, North Tapanuli Regency. The establishment of the company has brought socio-economic changes to the local community, particularly in relation to employment opportunities and sources of income. Prior to the company's presence, most residents depended on traditional agriculture as their main livelihood. This research aims to analyze the changes in community livelihoods following the operation of the company and to identify the factors that influence the community in responding to these changes. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving community members and relevant stakeholders. The findings indicate that the presence of PT Toba Agro Mandiri has both positive and negative impacts on the community. Positive impacts include increased income for landowners through land leasing, the availability of new employment opportunities, and the emergence of supporting economic activities. However, negative impacts were also identified, such as unequal access to employment opportunities, social disparities between landowners and non-landowners, and a gradual shift away from traditional agricultural practices. These findings highlight the importance of more inclusive employment opportunities and community empowerment programs to ensure that the benefits of the company's presence can be distributed more evenly among the local community.

This study examines the predictive influence of religious habituation and teacher role modeling on students’ emotional intelligence in an Islamic elementary school context. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was employed, involving 78 students selected through total sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that religious habituation has a positive and significant effect on students’ emotional intelligence, while teacher role modeling demonstrates a relatively stronger contribution. Simultaneously, both variables significantly predict emotional intelligence, explaining 74.9% of its variance. These results suggest that students’ socio-emotional development is shaped by the integration of structured religious practices and pedagogical modeling within the school environment. The study contributes to the ecological-religious perspective on character education by emphasizing the importance of consistent spiritual habituation and teachers’ personal competence in fostering emotional regulation and social skills. Practically, Islamic elementary schools are encouraged to strengthen religious culture programs and support teachers’ emotional and moral development to enhance students’ emotional intelligence.

Catechesis is a process of faith formation that aims to help the faithful, especially Catholic youth, to know, internalize, and live out the Christian faith in their daily lives. In the digital era, youth participation in ecclesial life tends to decline, as indicated by low involvement in Church activities. This condition is influenced by various factors, such as academic and work commitments, as well as the dominance of digital culture, which is often more appealing to young people than spiritual activities. This study aims to analyze the role of catechesis in increasing the participation of Catholic youth in the digital era and to examine the relevance of retreats and recollections as contextual forms of catechesis. The research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method, supported by observations of ecclesial life at the station level. The findings indicate that catechesis that is primarily informative is less effective in addressing the needs of young people, who seek a more personal and participatory faith experience. In this regard, retreats and recollections have the potential to serve as forms of catechesis that deepen faith experiences and encourage active participation in the life of the Church.

Young people today live in a digital culture that makes social media the main space for communicating, forming identities, and finding meaning in life. In such situations, catechesis needs to adjust itself to remain relevant and able to reach them effectively. The use of social media opens up opportunities for the Church to present catechesis that is more interactive, visual, and contextual through various forms such as short videos, infographics, live broadcasts, and online discussions. A qualitative approach through literary studies and indirect observation shows that social media can increase the involvement of young people in faith formation because it is flexible and easily accessible. However, the use of social media also presents pastoral challenges, such as the potential for superficiality of content and a lack of deep appreciation of faith. Therefore, critical assistance and integration between digital catechesis and real community life are needed so that the faith of young people is sustained and strengthened in the life of the Church.

Bureaucracies worldwide face increasing pressure to innovate due to rising citizen expectations, technological disruption, and fiscal constraints. The digital era offers significant opportunities to transform public service delivery by overcoming traditional administrative barriers. This study employs a multiple case study design, analyzing 18 innovative public service initiatives in Indonesia recognized for service innovation. Data were collected through document analysis, semi-structured interviews, and direct observations. Using Innovation Diffusion Theory and Institutional Theory, the study examines innovation adoption, implementation, and sustainability. The findings show that successful bureaucratic innovations share six key characteristics: strong leadership, citizen-centric design, effective use of digital technologies, incremental implementation, institutionalization through regulations, and external partnerships. However, major barriers include rigid regulations, risk-averse organizational culture, fragmented authority, limited resources, inadequate digital infrastructure, and political influences. Digital technology plays a crucial enabling role, yet it must be supported by organizational change, capacity building, and cultural transformation. This study provides policy recommendations to support regulatory reform, strengthen innovation systems, and foster innovation-friendly public sector environments.

By examining how visual aesthetics play a crucial role in creating a hyperreal symbolic reality, this study critically investigates the creation and consumption of simulacra in the Instagram marketing of regional Indonesian fashion firms. This study shows that local brands actively create representational worlds that negotiate identity between claims of locality and global aesthetic standards, in addition to selling products, using an interpretative qualitative approach that combines netnography, visual semiotic analysis, and in-depth interviews with brand managers and consumers. According to the research, rigorous visual curation techniques result in what are known as ethical simulacra, in which ideals like sustainability and community support are reduced to beautiful pictures divorced from tangible behaviors. In addition to examining ethical conundrums in netnographic research within ambivalent digital settings, this analysis emphasizes the critical role that Instagram's algorithms play as non-human actors that influence aesthetic canons. By highlighting distinctive dynamics including self-exoticization tactics and modernity paradoxes that influence symbolic consumption patterns, this study theoretically advances Consumer Culture Theory and critical marketing by concentrating on the Indonesian setting. The study's findings suggest a more ethical and thoughtful approach to marketing when confronting the logic of digital hyperreality.

The effectiveness of public sector organizations in delivering quality services and achieving their mandates depends critically on how they manage their human resources. This study examines the relationship between strategic human resource management (SHRM) practices and organizational performance in Indonesian public sector organizations. Employing a mixed-methods research design, data were collected from 312 public sector managers and HR professionals across 45 government agencies through surveys and 32 in-depth interviews. The research investigates five key SHRM dimensions: strategic recruitment and selection, performance management systems, employee development and training, compensation and rewards, and employee engagement. Findings reveal significant positive relationships between SHRM practices and multiple performance indicators including service quality, operational efficiency, employee productivity, and organizational innovation. Regression analysis demonstrates that SHRM practices collectively explain 47.3% of variance in organizational performance scores. Qualitative data illuminate implementation challenges including limited HR professional capacity, rigid civil service regulations, political interference, and resistance to performance-based management. The study identifies critical success factors such as top management commitment, alignment between HR strategy and organizational strategy, investment in HR analytics capabilities, and cultural transformation toward merit-based practices. Results indicate that high-performing public organizations distinguish themselves through systematic talent management, data-driven HR decision-making, continuous learning cultures, and stronger linkages between individual performance and organizational outcomes. This research contributes empirical evidence on SHRM effectiveness in public sector contexts and provides actionable recommendations for HR practitioners and policymakers seeking to leverage human capital for improved public service delivery.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the implementation of Regional Regulation of Gorontalo Regency Number 04 of 2014 concerning the Control of Livestock in Ilomata Village, Bilato District. This research employs an empirical legal method with a sociological juridical approach to examine law not only as written norms but also as a social practice within society. Data were collected through interviews with village officials, regional regulation enforcement officers, and livestock owners, as well as through documentation and literature studies. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively using Lawrence M. Friedman’s legal system theory and Soerjono Soekanto’s theory on factors influencing law enforcement. The results indicate that the implementation of the regional regulation has not been optimal. The influencing factors include legal substance, legal structure (law enforcement officers), facilities and infrastructure, community factors, and legal culture. Normatively, the regulation contains clear provisions; however, its implementation is hindered by inconsistent enforcement, limited supporting facilities, and low levels of public legal awareness. Legal culture and the lack of consistency among law enforcement officers are the most dominant factors affecting the effectiveness of the regulation’s implementation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen consistent law enforcement, improve supporting facilities, and undertake continuous efforts to build public legal awareness in a participatory manner.

This study aims to analyze the level of financial literacy and examine its influence on the household welfare of vegetable farmers. Agricultural households, particularly smallholder vegetable farmers, frequently experience economic vulnerability due to several structural challenges such as unstable agricultural income, seasonal production patterns, fluctuating market prices, limited access to formal financial services, and inadequate financial management skills. These conditions often make farm households more susceptible to economic shocks, including crop failure, input price increases, or sudden market price declines. In this context, financial literacy becomes an essential capability that enables farmers to manage their financial resources more effectively. This research employed a quantitative research design using a survey approach. The study involved 120 vegetable farmers selected as respondents from major vegetable-producing areas. Data were collected through structured questionnaires designed to measure farmers’ financial literacy levels and household welfare conditions. Financial literacy was assessed through indicators such as financial knowledge, financial behavior, and financial attitudes, while household welfare was evaluated based on indicators including consumption stability, education and health expenditures, savings capacity, and overall economic resilience. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the characteristics and financial literacy levels of respondents, and multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between financial literacy and household welfare. The results of this study highlight the importance of strengthening financial education programs targeted at agricultural communities. Improving financial literacy among vegetable farmers can contribute not only to better household financial management but also to broader rural economic development. Therefore, financial education initiatives should be integrated into agricultural extension programs, farmer group activities, and local government development strategies. Such initiatives may include training in household financial planning, simple bookkeeping for farm businesses, savings management, and responsible credit use. By enhancing farmers’ financial capabilities, these programs can help improve household welfare, strengthen rural economic resilience, and support the long-term sustainability of the agricultural sector.

Digital spirituality is a way of living and expressing spiritual life within the context of the digital world, where technology serves as a medium to strengthen one’s relationship with God, oneself, and the community. It is therefore a conscious effort to maintain and nurture faith amid the overwhelming flow of information on social media. The concept of From Scroll to Soul encourages believers not merely to be passive recipients of information but to engage spiritually by using technology as a tool for faith formation. Practices such as using spiritual apps, participating in online communities, selecting constructive content, and conducting digital detoxes are important steps to maintain focus on God. Theologically, digital spirituality affirms that God is present in every aspect of life, including virtual spaces. Technology can become a tool of grace that deepens one’s relationship with God and serves as a space for witnessing faith when used wisely. Thus, digital spirituality is not a rejection of technology but rather its use as a medium for growth, testimony, and bringing Christ’s values into the modern information culture.

This study discusses the importance of family-focused Christian theology in building children's character in the digital era through the Christian Religious Education (PAK) approach. The transformation of information and communication technology has brought major changes, including in the fields of education and character formation. The digital era provides opportunities to increase knowledge and access to learning, but also raises challenges in the form of weakening moral values, integrity, and relationships within the family. The family as a divine institution has a primary role in teaching Christian values through role models, communication, and direct experience. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, which reviews literature and observations of Christian education practices both in families and schools. The results show that families have an important role in developing children's faith and character, while PAK serves as a link between faith education at home and formal education at school. PAK is considered relevant because it can unite students' cognitive, affective, and conative aspects in facing the influence of digital culture. Overall, family-based Christian theology supported by PAK has great relevance in shaping a young generation with integrity, critical thinking, and character. This approach not only instills knowledge of faith but also prepares students to become responsible and wise leaders in utilizing technology in accordance with Christian values.

This study examines the local culture of Nagari Gadut as preserved through the traditions of Manjapuik Batu and Manampuang. The main issue addressed in this research is the limited written documentation and academic studies on these traditions, which are predominantly transmitted orally and are vulnerable to changes in meaning over time. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation, cultural meanings, and social functions of Manjapuik Batu and Manampuang within the community of Nagari Gadut. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through literature review, direct observation, and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and local community members. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis to interpret the values and meanings of the traditions from the perspective of the supporting community. The findings indicate that the Manjapuik Batu tradition functions as a customary practice related to death rituals, emphasizing values of mutual cooperation, togetherness, and adherence to adat norms. Meanwhile, the Manampuang tradition reflects social solidarity, discipline, and principles of equality through the equal distribution of sacrificial meat to all participants. The study concludes that both traditions serve not only as local cultural heritage but also as value systems that shape the social character of the Nagari Gadut community and therefore need to be documented as part of cultural preservation efforts.
