The decrease in student enthusiasm for learning at MAN 2 Blitar is caused by the limited physical references in the madrasah library, thus hindering the expansion of students' knowledge. To overcome this, madrasas provide Wi-Fi facilities as an alternative learning medium to increase learning motivation, especially in fiqh subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data sources include Madrasah Heads, Curriculum Waka, Fiqh Teachers, and MAN 2 Blitar students. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques, with the validity of the data tested through triangulation, extension of participation, and peer discussion. The focus of this research includes the urgency, implementation, and barriers and solutions for the use of Wi-Fi in increasing motivation to learn fiqh. The results show that the use of Wi-Fi is important because it can reduce the economic burden on students, facilitate the learning process, and create a varied and innovative learning atmosphere. The implementation of Wi-Fi is carried out through online article searches, the use of the Canva application for presentations and poster assignments, and the use of learning videos from YouTube. The obstacles faced include unstable networks, power outages, and misuse of internet access, which are overcome by the addition of routers, the provision of generators, as well as supervision and restrictions on the use of student devices.

The development of digital technology has brought about major changes in the spread of da'wah and the implementation of Islamic counseling. Da'wah that used to focus on face-to-face is now transformed through social media and digital platforms, so that religious messages can reach a wider audience without time and space limitations. Digital media presents opportunities for da'i to convey da'wah with varied and interesting content, especially for the younger generation. However, challenges remain, such as the lack of direct emotional interaction and the difficulty of monitoring potentially deviant content. Meanwhile, Islamic counseling in the digital era is developing through online services, either through websites, telephones, chats, and video conferences. These services facilitate access to counselling, reduce distance barriers and social stigma, and provide flexible counseling alternatives. However, online counseling also has weaknesses, such as limitations in reading body language, network technical constraints, and counselors' skills that are not optimal in utilizing technology. Thus, Islamic da'wah and counseling in the digital era require the readiness of human resources, mastery of technology, and the application of good ethics in order to run effectively, professionally, and provide wide benefits to society.

This study examines the public communication strategy implemented by the broadcasting division of the Bogor City Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) in producing and disseminating video content through social media as a means of public information and education. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, using observation, interviews, and document study techniques to gain an in-depth understanding of contextual communication practices. The results indicate that the public communication strategy was implemented through three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. In the pre-production stage, messages relevant to community needs were planned. The production stage focused on creating content that was informative, engaging, and easily understood by the audience, while the post-production stage included the dissemination and evaluation of message effectiveness. Challenges encountered included limited resources, technical issues, and sometimes suboptimal coordination between departments. However, these obstacles were overcome through teamwork, technical training, and more efficient equipment management. This study confirms that video content plays a strategic role in strengthening the relationship between the government and the community and encouraging transparency and public participation. Continuous evaluation based on audience feedback is recommended to improve the effectiveness of future communication.

This study aims to identify the types of products or creative works produced by Indonesia’s golden generation in the context of developing a talent-based creative economy in the digital era. A talent-based economy refers to an economic model that leverages individual skills, creativity, and innovation as the main capital for generating economic value. Using a literature review approach, this research analyzes the implementation of a talent- driven creative economy, particularly how the youth especially Gen Z and millennials produce various digital outputs such as illustrations, animations, educational applications, video content, NFTs, and social media-based e-commerce products. This implementation reflects the integration of individual creativity with digital technology utilization, aligning with core 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy. The findings reveal that the creative economy contributes not only to cultural and artistic sectors but also to real economic sectors such as digital MSMEs, content industries, educational technology (edutech), and the broader digital economy. These insights show that with the support of digital infrastructure, technological literacy, and affirmative policies, the golden generation can foster innovation with economic value while enhancing national competitiveness amid global transformation toward Indonesia Emas 2045.

This study aims to identify and analyze viewers' motives in watching fashion review content on the YouTube platform. The study was conducted in Semarang City during the period from October 1 to October 31, 2025 with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include documentation and observation of audience behavior and the content displayed. The results showed that the main motives of viewers included searching for product references, obtaining tips and guides, comparing products, as well as social validation and credibility from reviewers. In addition to the informative aspect, the entertainment dimension is also a significant factor that drives interest in watching. Psychological satisfaction such as pleasure, relaxation, and emotional fulfillment become part of the viewing experience, especially when filling your free time. Viewers also show interest in the vlogger's personality, communicative delivery style, and visually appealing video production quality. The aesthetic pleasure of creatively packaged fashion looks also strengthens the appeal of the content. These findings suggest that the motivation for watching is not only functional but also emotional and aesthetic. The implications of this study can be input for fashion content creators in designing more effective and attractive delivery strategies, as well as for fashion industry players to understand the behavior of digital consumers in accessing product information through social media.

Community Service (KKN) is one method to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through community service activities. The Independent KKN Project from the University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra in 2025 was implemented in Dolok Kahean Village, Tapian Dolok District, Simalungun Regency, with the theme "Innovation and Creativity as Keys to Entrepreneurial Success in the Digital Economy Era. " The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors in maximizing product marketing using digital marketing, with an emphasis on the use of photo and video content for business branding. The implementation methods of this activity include observation, interviews, socialization, and training in photography practices, editing, and digital content strategies. The results of this activity show an increase in knowledge and skills of MSME actors in creating promotional content, building brand identities (such as logos and product packaging), and utilizing social media as a marketing tool. In addition, social activities such as mutual cooperation, economic education in schools, and the creation of educational signs about waste also contribute to increasing social awareness in the community. The success of this activity was facilitated by community cooperation and support from village officials, while the main challenges were geographical conditions and limited transportation. Overall, this KKN activity had a positive impact on the development of local MSMEs, increased digital literacy, and strengthened the relationship between students and the village community, demonstrating the role of higher education institutions in community empowerment.

The use of technological resources, especially the internet, has a very important role in supporting the effectiveness of the implementation of the flipped classroom model. Through internet access, students can prepare before face-to-face learning by watching learning videos, reading materials, or doing exercises independently. This allows the classroom teaching and learning process to be more interactive, where face-to-face time can be focused on discussion, problem-solving, and application of concepts. Based on survey data collected from students of SMK Dewata Bali Denpasar, it is known that optimal use of the internet helps increase students' understanding and interest in learning science subjects. However, as time went by, it was found that some of the material was still difficult for students to understand and remember. Therefore, educators need to choose the learning platform that is most effective in supporting the implementation of this model. Using the ELECTRE (Elimination and Choice Expressing Reality) method, this study assessed various platforms such as features, price, ease of use, and user survey results. The results show that Google Classroom is the most suitable and efficient platform to support reverse learning because of its ability to integrate various learning media, ease of access, and support for interaction between teachers and students.

This study aims to analyze oppurtunities, threats, and sales strategies through the Tiktok Shop and Tokopedua applications in the Tangerang area. Tiktok Shop and Tokopedia are two major E-Commerce platforms in Indonesia. Tiktok Shop utilizies short video trends and live streaming features to attract young consumers, while Tokopedia offers a strong E-Commerce infrastructure to support online transactions. E-Commerce is a process whereby buyers and sellers exchange information, money, and goods using electronic media. Data collection techniques were carried out through surveys targeting the community in the Tangerang area by distributing questionnaires and using documentation and literature studies that compiled secondary data from official documents published by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, APJII, Data Reportal, and the Tangerang City Communication and Information Agency. The result of this study show that the collaboration between Tiktok Shop and Tokopedia opens up enormous growth opportunities, especially for businesses in the Tangerang area. Tangerang is a region with rapid growth in internet users. The younger generation, who actively use tiktok for both entertainment and shopping, is a highly potential consumer segment. Through this collaboration, businesses can reach markets that were previously difficult to penetrate through traditional marketing methods.

Early childhood education (ECE) demands imaginative and inventive approaches to guarantee that children are actively involved and undergo significant learning in line with their developmental phases. The swift advancement of technology has made interactive video a valuable tool for enhancing ECE learning, especially when integrated with local cultural material. This research examines the use of the interactive video Wajanus (Warung Jajanan Nusantara) in Class B of Mutiara Hati Kindergarten Ponorogo, aimed at familiarizing children with Indonesian traditional snacks while also enhancing their cognitive, social, linguistic, and cultural values. A qualitative descriptive method was utilized, involving participatory observation, semi-structured interviews with parents and teachers, along with documentation via photos, videos, and field notes. Data analysis adhered to the model proposed by Miles and Huberman, encompassing data reduction, data presentation, and thematic conclusion formulation. The results indicate that utilizing Wajanus improved children's involvement in cognitive, emotional, and motor skills while promoting greater learning motivation. Children recognized numbers, shapes, and new vocabulary more efficiently, and they exhibited a positive attitude toward the local cultural heritage presented in the video. However, challenges were noted, including differing degrees of child involvement, the demand for extensive teacher assistance, and inadequate educational resources. In summary, interactive videos grounded in local culture like Wajanus are successful in enhancing early childhood education quality while also reinforcing children’s character education and cultural identity, and they possess significant potential for duplication in other ECE institutions throughout Indonesia

This study employs the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) adapted from Thiagarajan et al. (1974) to develop a Digital Storytelling medium using Canva for the topic “Family” in Senior High School (SMA/MA). A needs analysis was conducted in the Define phase, revealing that students experienced difficulties in listening and speaking. In the Design phase, a context-based story medium with illustrations, texts, and German audio narration was created. During the Develop phase, the product was validated by two experts. A German language instructor reviewed the material and deemed it suitable for use without revisions. The material validation results showed that the medium is usable without revision, as the material was rated clear, systematic, complete, engaging, and easy to understand. The material expert’s evaluation covered five categories, resulting in a total material score of 95. A media expert evaluated the medium along with audio and video content. The media expert’s assessment included ten categories, resulting in a total media score of 95. Meanwhile, data validation indicated that the medium can be further used with minor revisions, such as enhancing visual elements to make it more dynamic and adjusting audio quality to improve listening comfort. The results of this study show that the development process of the Digital Storytelling medium using Canva for the “Family” topic in Senior High School successfully produced an engaging and communicative product that matches the characteristics of beginner German language learners. This medium contains a story on the theme “Family,” complemented by illustrations, texts, and audio content. The developed video has been uploaded to the YouTube platform to facilitate access for teachers and students.

In supporting the learning process, teachers often use videos on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok for learning media nowadays. One that can be used for learning media is Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality in the world of education has not been implemented and applied as a supporting medium for interactive education in schools, because no educational institution has implemented it as a mandatory media that functions as a learning tool. Muhammadiyah 12 GKB Gresik Middle School has a Digital Technology Class Program that strives to provide a forum for teachers and students to always actively use technology in learning in class and outside the classroom. With the material Reply for unbelievers, it is hoped that it can be visualized through Augmented Reality. Based on the background above, the author tries to explain the main statement (1) how to design an effective, efficient, and interesting Augmented Reality learning model for 8th grade students of the Quranic material, Surah Al Fajr, reply for unbelievers. (2) what are the advantages and disadvantages of the Augmented Reality learning media design. This study aims to describe the design of the Augmented Reality learning model so that it is effective, efficient, and interesting. As well as describing the advantages and disadvantages of Augmented Reality learning media design so that it can be effective, efficient and interesting for students. The research method used by researchers uses the Research and Development method by adopting the ADDIE development model in the first two steps: Analysis and Design. The results of the needs analysis on the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media in learning replies for non-believers, this is effective, efficient and interesting if used in the learning process for students, and is needed, especially in learning replies for non-believers.

In the digital era, YouTube has become a powerful platform for sharing knowledge, shaping perspectives, and encouraging critical engagement. This study explores how multimodal elements—verbal, visual, and audio—construct meaning in the educational video “Kalau Kamu Mau Punya Critical Thinking, Jangan Skip Obrolan Ini!” from the Suara Berkelas channel. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research interprets how these modes work together to support critical thinking. Data were collected through video observation, transcription, and documentation of multimodal features, then analyzed thematically using Kress and van Leeuwen’s multimodal framework and Facione’s critical thinking model. The findings show that the verbal mode structures logical arguments and rhetorical appeals, the visual mode emphasizes meaning through gestures, expressions, and text overlays, while the audio mode builds emotional engagement through tone, pauses, and background music. Together, these modes create a coherent and persuasive discourse that not only informs but also invites viewers to reflect critically. The study contributes theoretically to the understanding of multimodality in digital education and practically provides insights for educators and content creators to design more interactive, reflective, and engaging educational content.

This study aims to examine the process and improvement of reading comprehension skills among slow learner students in Grade VII at SMP Negeri 2 Karangan through the use of interactive animation video media based on the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. Employing the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, the study was conducted in two cycles with six slow learner students as research subjects. The observation results indicated an improvement from 89.58% in Cycle I to 100% in Cycle II. The average reading comprehension score increased from 65 to 83, with the percentage of students achieving the minimum mastery criteria rising from 67.85% to 89.28% with a difference of 18 points increase. These findings demonstrate that interactive animation video media based on PjBL effectively enhances both student engagement and learning outcomes, particularly in understanding English texts. This success was supported by the active role of the teacher in adapting the PjBL syntax to meet the specific needs of the slow learner students.

Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (CTPS) adalah cara hidup yang bersih dan sehat yang efektif dalam mencegah penyakit menular, khususnya pada anak usia sekolah. Studi ini menyelidiki bagaimana media video edukasi berdampak pada peningkatan pengetahuan siswa SDN 05 Pancur Batu mengenai CTPS. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan pendekatan one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 31 responden yang diberikan pretest, intervensi berupa video edukasi CTPS, dan posttest. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan skor rata-rata pengetahuan dari 8,13 pada pretest menjadi 8,71 pada posttest. Uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (p-value = 0,001). Analisis N-Gain memperlihatkan sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, dengan satu siswa mencapai kategori tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa media video edukasi cukup berhasil untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai CTPS, meskipun diperlukan strategi pendukung lain seperti diskusi dan praktik langsung agar peningkatan lebih merata.

The findings of this study reveal that the GoFood advertisement titled “Breaking News” and the GrabFood advertisement “Hematematika” serve not only as promotional tools but also as media that shape consumer mindsets and behavior. Both advertisements strategically employ language, narrative, and structure to highlight the ideas of efficiency and modernity, which align with the demands of contemporary digital society. The GoFood advertisement presents a serious narrative that emphasizes economic issues, while GrabFood adopts a humorous approach and wordplay to establish a lighter and more entertaining connection with the audience. This analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach by examining video advertisements on YouTube, with a particular focus on persuasive language and visual representation. In this sense, advertisements are understood not merely as marketing strategies, but as communicative practices embedded with ideology. Through the messages they convey, the ads promote values of efficiency, frugality, and modernity, which ultimately influence the construction of consumer identity and behavior. The study applies Norman Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis framework, which consists of textual analysis, discursive practice, and socio-cultural context. This approach allows researchers to explore how language in advertisements contributes to the construction of social reality, communicates particular perspectives, and encourages audiences to respond actively.

The COVID-19 pandemic triggered a significant transformation of performing arts in Aceh, particularly through Taman Budaya Aceh, which shifted its stage activities into digital formats. This study aims to describe the processes of digital mediation, changes in production formats, audience engagement patterns, and the archival function of cultural performances through Taman Budaya Aceh’s official YouTube channel. Using a qualitative descriptive case study design, the research analyzed 12 performance videos produced and uploaded between 2020–2022 through visual and narrative analysis. The findings reveal three key aspects: first, the shift from offline to online production created a new aesthetic based on camera work and editing; second, audiences transformed into mediatized participants through comments, likes, and replays; third, digital platforms functioned as cultural repositories, expanding access and strengthening the preservation of performances. These findings highlight that digitalization of performing arts is not merely an emergency response, but an integral part of constructing a sustainable arts ecosystem in the digital disruption era.

This research is motivated by the low poetry writing skills of third-grade students at MIS Tarbiyah Islamiyah Jelutung. This condition is evident from student learning outcomes that are still below the minimum completion standard and a lack of interest in expressing ideas and feelings through writing. The purpose of this study is to improve poetry writing skills by utilizing animated video media through the Powtoon website as an interesting and interactive learning tool. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in two cycles, including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results show an increase in the average value of poetry writing skills from 61 in the pre-cycle (poor category), to 83 in the first cycle (good category), and increasing again to 90.3 in the second cycle (very good category). Thus, the use of Powtoon animated video media is proven to be effective in improving students' poetry writing skills.

This research is entitled "The Role of Si'o in Nias Traditional Marriage in Marindal I Village, Patumbak District, Deli Sedang Regency". The purpose of this research is to describe the duties and roles carried out by a Si'o in a series of Nias traditional marriage processions in Marindal 1 Village, and to identify and analyze the obstacles or challenges faced by a Si'o in carrying out his duties in the Nias traditional marriage procession in Marindal 1 Village. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that Si'o plays a central role as a traditional figure who is responsible for bridging communication between two families. Si'o is not just an ordinary spokesperson, but an official representative of the family, especially from the male side, who has full responsibility to convey intentions, organize the handover of traditional symbols, and ensure that all stages of the traditional procession run in an orderly, sacred, and in accordance with the rules that have been passed down from generation to generation. To ensure the continued role of the Si'o in the future, efforts to preserve traditional customs are needed through several key steps, such as involving the younger generation in every traditional ceremony and utilizing modern technology, such as video documentation and digital media. This research utilizes Max Weber's leadership theory, specifically traditional leadership styles. The role of the Si'o is a concrete form of authority derived from cultural legitimacy. This research aims to understand the dynamics of wedding traditions in Nias. By examining the role of the Si'o, this research provides new insights into how customs adapt to the modern context and their impact on cultural identity.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of gadgets on the reading interest of students at SMAN 1 Tolitoli. The background of this research departs from the phenomenon of declining students' interest in reading in the digital era, where students spend more time using gadgets for entertainment such as social media, online games, and watching videos than reading books or lesson literature. The low number of visits to school libraries, which only increased before the exam, is a major indicator of the weakening of the literacy culture among students. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by normality test, t-test, and determination coefficient (R²) to determine the magnitude of the influence of gadgets on reading interest. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence between the use of gadgets on students' reading interest. The tcalculated value of 4,028 > ttable 1,655 indicates that H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. The use of gadgets contributed 9.8% to the reading interest of students at SMAN 1 Tolitoli, while the rest was influenced by other factors such as family environment, learning motivation, and support for literacy facilities at school.

Social media has transformed communication patterns, with TikTok emerging as a platform where interactions are highly expressive and multimodal. This study examines the role of emojis as politeness strategies in the comments section of TikTok influencers, focusing on how these visual symbols help maintain harmonious digital communication. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the researchers analyzed 20 emoji-containing comments from a high-engagement influencer video. The data were interpreted through Brown and Levinson’s (1987) politeness theory, supplemented by the concept of multimodality. The findings indicate that emojis significantly support both positive and negative politeness strategies. Positive politeness was dominant (around 70%), often realized through empathy, humor, and solidarity-building emojis, while negative politeness was achieved through hedging, apologies, and respectful cues. Emojis also frequently softened bald-on-record statements and enabled off-record indirectness. The study concludes that emojis are crucial in enhancing politeness, enriching emotional expression, and fostering a sense of community in TikTok interactions, highlighting their importance in the evolving landscape of digital sociolinguistics.
