This community service program aims to enhance the literacy skills of the elderly in Wonosari Village, Grujugan, Bondowoso, by teaching them how to read and write the alphabet. Literacy, particularly reading and writing, is an essential skill for every individual, yet it remains a challenge for many elderly people in rural areas due to limited access to education during their younger years. Through the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which focuses on utilizing the community's existing assets, this program successfully engaged elderly participants in a structured learning process. The elderly were taught to read and write the alphabet over seven sessions, leading to increased self-confidence and independence in their daily lives. The program not only improved their literacy but also fostered greater social inclusion and community participation. This initiative demonstrates that with the right approach and support, the elderly can continue to develop and contribute to their community.

This study examines the issue of law enforcement related to the conversion of Green Open Spaces (GOS) in urban areas. Using a normative juridical research method with legislative and conceptual approaches, this research analyzes the implementation of Law No. 26 of 2007 on Spatial Planning, which mandates the availability of GOS at a minimum of 30% of the total urban area. The findings indicate that law enforcement in GOS conversion faces multiple challenges, including inconsistent regulatory implementation, budget constraints, weak inter-agency coordination, and obstacles in monitoring and enforcement. The pressures of urban facility development and population growth due to urbanization further complicate efforts to preserve GOS. Optimizing the role of local governments in GOS protection and management is carried out through the implementation of the Spatial and Regional Planning  involving various related agencies. The Ministry of Environment’s Adipura Program also plays a role in promoting enhanced environmental management performance by adhering to eight essential criteria within legal products related to environmental and ecosystem protection. This study recommends strengthening the GOS management system through improved inter-agency coordination, adequate budget provision, and the consistent application of firm sanctions.

Miniature Indonesia is the nickname of Serdang Bedagai Regency, where many ethnic groups live in the Land of the Magic of this Traditional Country. There are still many local residents who do not know the culture in the land where they live. Based on existing problems, a view arose to design Arts and Culture Facilities that would house all arts activities and cultural preservation, especially Malay culture, as the forerunner to the establishment of Serdang Bedagai Regency. The theme approach that will be used to design this Arts and Cultural Facility is Neo-Vernacular Architecture. Neo-Vernacular architecture is an architectural concept that incorporates elements of surrounding culture into buildings by applying patterns or motifs typical of the place itself. Apart from that, the use of a neo-vernacular theme is also in line with the building's function, namely as an arts and cultural facility, where the aim of this project is to introduce the surrounding culture to local people and tourists from outside the area.

This study aims to analyze congregants’ interest in Islamic study sessions at Al-Ikhlas Mosque using a descriptive qualitative approach. Islamic study sessions play an essential role in enhancing religious understanding, character development, and social cohesion within the Muslim community. However, attendance levels tend to fluctuate due to various influencing factors. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation to explore the perceptions, motivations, and experiences of the congregants. The findings reveal that congregants’ interest is shaped by several key factors, including the study theme, the lecturer’s delivery method, the timing of the sessions, mosque facilities, spiritual needs, and social encouragement from the surrounding community. Based on field data, congregants’ interest can be categorized into three levels: high, moderate, and low. This research is expected to assist mosque administrators in optimizing the implementation of Islamic study sessions by adjusting themes, selecting appropriate lecturers, and improving facility convenience.

Accidents or injuries can happen anywhere, anytime, even in the school environment. Wherever an accident occurs, it is necessary to get immediate help to reduce the danger and immediately go to the nearest health facility. The low level of knowledge and motivation of PMR members will be a big problem, because PMR members are trained as first aiders in schools before the victim is sent to the next health facility. This study used a quantitative pre-experimental type with a one group pretest-posttest design approach. The population in this study were all members of PMR SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Jambi City. The sample in this study was 35 students using the total sampling technique. The independent variable of this study is first aid education and the dependent is the knowledge and motivation of PMR members. The research instrument used a 2-time questionnaire using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed that before the intervention, some respondents had sufficient knowledge as many as 27 respondents (77.1%) and after the intervention the respondents had good knowledge as many as 35 respondents (100%). Motivation of PMR members before being given the intervention, most respondents were moderately motivated with a total of 31 respondents (88.6%) and motivation after being given the intervention all respondents were highly motivated as many as 35 respondents (100%). Wilcoxon statistical test results there is an effect of first aid education on knowledge with a significance value of 0.001 (p Subscribe to DeepL Pro to edit this document. Autoimmune diseases, which are disorders where the immune system attacks the body’s own tissues, can affect anyone, including children and adults. These diseases often lead to serious tissue damage and physiological disturbances. Al Fuadi Binjai General Hospital, the primary healthcare facility in Binjai City, faces challenges in diagnosing autoimmune diseases in a timely manner due to limitations in time, cost, and distance. Delays in treatment can exacerbate patient conditions and slow recovery processes. The objective of this study is to develop a system that processes symptom and autoimmune disease data using the Dempster-Shafer method, which allows for uncertainty assessment in decision-making. Patient symptom data collected and analyzed using this method aims to determine the likelihood of autoimmune diseases. The developed system demonstrated high diagnostic accuracy, with the most accurate results for lupus with a confidence level of 94.40%. This result indicates that the Dempster-Shafer method can be an effective tool in accelerating the diagnostic process and improving the accuracy of autoimmune disease management at Al Fuadi Binjai General Hospital

A library is a facility or place that provides reading materials. Good book arrangement can help the library in obtaining good reading sources. The arrangement of library service book collections based on borrowing patterns, there is an alignment between user needs and the availability of reading materials available in the library. Analysis of book borrowing patterns provides valuable insights for library staff in determining the books that are most in demand and often needed by users. Data mining is defined as mining data or efforts to dig up valuable and useful information in a very large database. The most important thing in data mining techniques is the rule for finding high frequency patterns between sets of itemsets called Association Rules. The method used in this study is Apriori (Association Rule). This technique is used to find relationships or associations between items or variables in data. Well-known algorithms such as Apriori and Eclat are used to find association rules in transactional data. The purpose of this study is to find out library visitor data using the Apriori Algorithm method and to find out the application of data mining for compiling book collections based on borrowing patterns. The results of this study are the multiplication of support and confidence, choose the one with the largest multiplication result. The largest result of the multiplication of these multiplications is the rule used when borrowing books. Because the results of the multiplication of the 4 borrowings have the same value, all of them can be used as rules.
