Indonesia has experienced several curriculum changes from 1947 to 2013. These changes are related to how important and strategic the role of the curriculum is in implementing the national teaching system. The 2013 curriculum is an integrated competency and character-based curriculum which is a refinement of the Education Unit Level Curricum (KTSP). The 2013 curriculum places more emphasis on character education, especially at the basic level, which will become the foundation for the next level. This research is descriptive quantitative research which aims to describe or create an objective picture of a situation, starting from data collection and answering the research questions that have been asked. Descriptive quantitative research also aims to obtain broader and deeper information by summarizing various conditions, situations, phenomena, or various variables and circumstances that occurred during the research by presenting what actually happened. The research results show that the obstacles in implementing the 2013 Curriculum come from the government, institutions, teachers and students. This seems to be appropriate that there are several factors that influence implementing the curriculum, namely: support from agencies and school principals, support from fellow teachers, support from students and parents, and support from within the teacher are the main elements. When the elements above encounter obstacles, they will certainly hinder the process of implementing a curriculum.

The moral development of children in the early and late stages of their lives is a crucial process in shaping their character. In the early stage, children tend to rely on the influence of adults, such as parents and teachers, to understand the concepts of right and wrong. They often strictly follow rules and avoid moral violations. In contrast, in the later stage, the moral development of children becomes more complex. They start to develop a deeper understanding of morality based on the values and principles they have learned throughout their lives. Children in this stage can consider the moral consequences of their actions and develop autonomy in making moral decisions. A better understanding of the moral development of children can help adults, such as parents and educators, support the healthy moral development of their children throughout the early and late stages of their lives.  Set a good example: Children tend to imitate the behavior of adults around them. Therefore, it is important for parents and adults around children to set good examples in behavior, attitudes and communication. Teach moral values: Teach children about moral values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, mutual help, patience, etc. Discuss these values with them and provide concrete examples of how these values are applied in everyday life.

This research was motivated by the frequent cases of repeated truancy in SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi which became the driving force of this research. sTherefore, research on truant behavior in students needs to be done to determine the types of truant behavior, factors that encourage students to do truant behavior, how parents can influence truant behavior, the impact of truant behavior, and how students' perceptions of truant behavior and how Guidance And Counseling teachers handle it. Participants in this study were grade VIII teenagers who often skipped school. Data collection methods include interviews, documentation, and observation. The findings of this study show that there are two types of truant behavior carried out by students at SMP Negeri 3 Bukittinggi, namely truant entirely and only during designated class hours. Factors that encourage students to behave truant include factors from themselves, family factors and environmental factors. Parental participation in truant behavior largely refers to the fact that based on parenting, parents are not directly involved in their child's truant behavior. The impact of truant behavior can be psychological, academic, or non-academic. Guidance and counseling teachers respond to this impact by providing information services, contacting parents, working with principals and homeroom teachers, and calling students who exhibit truant behavior for guidance on both the student and parent side

This research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the various forms of parental involvement in supporting early childhood education, while identifying the facilitating and hindering factors for the success of parental involvement programs. Findings from this study illustrate the prevailing perception among parents that still places teachers as the primary determinants of a child's success, despite the significant role parents play as the primary educators for young children. Awareness of this challenge prompted the researcher to delve into more detailed and in-depth investigations. The research results delineate diverse forms of parental involvement, encompassing the supervision of children's study time, financial contributions through donations of toys and books, participation in school meetings, involvement in social service activities, and the repair of play equipment at school. Despite the existence of organized excursions, not all schools can conduct them due to significant cost constraints.Supporting and inhibiting factors in parental involvement encompass economic aspects, time constraints, the level of parental trust in teachers, and the lack of parental involvement programs initiated by schools. These findings offer valuable insights for enhancing parental participation in early childhood education by addressing and optimizing these factors, ultimately creating a more inclusive and empowered educational environment. Keywords: forms of parental involvement; early childhood education.

Growth and development are two different processes that cannot be separated and are equally important for children in the critical period of the first 0-5 years of life because they will have implications for the child's quality of life in the future. This phase is often referred to as the "Golden Age" phase. Golden age is a very important period to pay close attention to a child's growth and development so that abnormalities can be detected as early as possible. This monitoring must be carried out regularly and continuously. Early age is a golden period and an important stage in the child's growth and development process considering that at this stage rapid development occurs and has long-term effects. Therefore, early detection needs to be done so that parents or teachers can anticipate it early so that growth and development disorders do not occur continuously. In Sungai Tuan Ulu village there is a growth measurement service at Posyandu which is carried out every month but so far there has never been a measurement of development, especially for toddlers at Cahaya PAUD. The use of the Pre-Developmental Screening Questionnaire (KPSP) as a developmental screening tool up to the age of 6 years really helps with careful development. Parents and teachers need to know the current development of their toddlers. So that if a developmental delay is found, it can be handled immediately. Therefore, the activities carried out in community service include early detection of toddler development with KPSP.

Violence against children is an arbitrary act that can harm children both physically and psychologically. One of the causes of domestic violence against children is early marriage. Children who witness domestic violence or are victims of violence themselves have long-term physical and mental health risks. Children who witness domestic violence between their parents are also at higher risk of committing domestic violence in the future. The solution to preventing early marriage and child domestic violence can be to collaborate with relevant agencies and institutions in the field to hold youth training regarding the impact of early marriage and parenting training for parents regarding how to raise their children well.
