Spinal anesthesia is a widely used anesthetic technique, particularly in surgeries involving the lower body, due to its effectiveness and safety profile. A critical component of post-spinal anesthesia recovery is the assessment of patient mobility, which can be quantitatively measured using the Bromage Score. The Bromage Score evaluates the degree of motor block, which is essential for determining when a patient can safely begin mobilizing after anesthesia. The education and implementation of the Bromage Score in hospitals are designed to enhance healthcare professionals' understanding of its significance, ensuring a more objective and systematic approach to patient recovery monitoring. This educational program involves a structured training session for healthcare workers, distribution of educational materials such as brochures and manuals, and evaluations both before and after the intervention to assess changes in knowledge and application. The results of the program indicate a significant increase in healthcare professionals’ understanding of how to apply the Bromage Score and improved quality in the monitoring of patient mobility after spinal anesthesia. The consistent and accurate implementation of the Bromage Score is crucial as it helps medical personnel determine an appropriate and safe time for patient mobilization, thus reducing the risk of complications such as falls, orthostatic hypotension, or delayed recovery. As a result, the program is recommended as a standard practice in healthcare settings to improve post-spinal anesthesia recovery outcomes and patient safety.

Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme mood swings between manic and depressive episodes. Coastal communities often face limited access to mental health information and services, leading to a lack of awareness and early detection of this disorder. This community service program aims to enhance awareness and understanding of bipolar disorder among adolescents in the coastal area of Baubau City through a community-based counseling approach. The methods used in this program include socialization, interactive discussions, case simulations, as well as pre-test and post-test evaluations to measure program effectiveness. The results showed that after attending the counseling session, participants' understanding of bipolar disorder increased by 85%, while the community's readiness to seek professional help increased from 30% to 75%. Additionally, positive social changes occurred, such as reduced stigma against mental disorders and the emergence of community leaders who actively promote mental health education. These findings indicate that a community-based educational approach can be an effective strategy in improving mental health literacy, particularly in areas with limited access to psychological services. Therefore, it is recommended that continuous counseling programs and further collaborations between the government, healthcare professionals, and local communities be implemented to ensure the sustainability of this program.

This assimilation can be a measure of success carried out by the correctional institution, because it is a process of increasing coaching based on the evaluation of previous coaching programs and has gone through certain assessments and has met the requirements set by the Correctional Team. The author is interested in the problem of assimilation guidance for prisoners at the Kedungpane Class I Prison in Semarang and the obstacles in the assimilation guidance program for inmates. This study uses a juridical empirical or sociological juridical approach. The results of the research and discussion are that assimilation is carried out for the development of prisoners in socializing in the community. In addition, Assimilation is also carried out in the context of tackling the Spread of Covid-19 that is currently hitting Indonesia. The obstacle in fostering the assimilation of prisoners is the lack of socialization to the community so that there are no third parties or people who are willing to accept and employ prisoners in the process of returning to society in a positive way.   Keywords : assimilation, Correctional Institution, convict .

Village development will not be separated from community participation because it is the primary beneficiary of development and becomes a development actor. This study examines exploring planning to participatory evaluation involving rural communities in evaluating village development programs. This makes it possible to provide feedback, monitor progress, and identify changes needed to implement development programs. The study used a qualitative approach, using primary data from interviews and relevant secondary data. The results of community research are included in village development planning through Musrembang. In the implementation stage of community development, they are also involved even though not all communities participate in the village development process. Participatory management in development in Liunggunung Village is in the infrastructure development approach and other fields such as health. The community is involved and contributes to infrastructure development and other fields. Community participation can lead to empowering rural communities, increasing their decision-making capacity, and strengthening social networks in communities. Communities involved in the decision-making and implementation of village development projects tend to have a higher sense of ownership of the project. The active participation of the community in village development has a positive impact on the sustainability of the program and the improvement of the community's quality of life. Community participation in village development is essential for sustainable development, community empowerment, and improved quality of life locally.    

The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the Surakarta City GenRe Program in strengthening civic responsibility. The research method used in qualitative research with a case study method. GenRe Program is able to be a good forum for the formation of adolescent characters, especially in strengthening civic responsibility. This success can certainly be achieved by various factors. As for one of the factors that influence that is related to strategy. Some of the strategies needed are (1) Maximizing SDM by managing GenRe Program services; (2) Establishing and developing PIK R in several regions; (3) Developing the GenRe Program; (4) Increasing the GenRe program partnership; (5) Develop coaching and evaluation periodically. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to provide training for MSME actors by providing an understanding of the requirements, calculations and procedures for reporting income tax, especially SPT. The partner problem that will be resolved in this activity is that some MSMEs in the Lamongan city area and its surroundings do not understand filling out SPT to report their tax obligations. The method applied to overcome this problem is to provide training through online seminars which are organized in collaboration with several lecturers from the Tax Study Program of the Ahmad Dahlan Business and Technology Institute. This activity was divided into 3 stages: planning, implementation and evaluation sessions. The results of the activity show an increase in understanding and knowledge after participating in training activities. This means that the objectives of this PKM have been achieved.

AbstrakSebagai tugas akhir mata kuliah PAR, mahasiswa melakukan penelitian langsung ke lapangan untuk mengimplementasikan keilmuan yang telah didapat terpada masyarakat. Mereka melakukan penelitian di TPQ AL-Magfiroh di Denpasar. Kondisi TPQ yang terletak di Mushola Al-Magfiroh telah berdiri sejak tahun 2019 dengan jumlah peserta didik 145 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan acuan teori Zuber dan pendekatan metode PAR, dengan tahapan observasi, pengumpulan data, monitoring/aksi, dan evaluasi. PAR bersifat transformatif dan memberdayakan komunitas lokus penelitian, sehingga menghasilkan program kerja, yaitu mengajar di TPQ tersebut dengan metode Yanbua dan bersama wali murid memberikan semangat pada siswa berupa buku dan alat tulis, padakegiatan kenaikan jilid. Evaluasi penelitian adalah menemukan kondisi kelas kurang kondusif dan kurangnya tenaga pengajar. Sebagai bahan tindaklanjut, mengkondisikan penambahan dan meningkatkan kualitas tenaga pengajar. Abstract As a final assignment for PAR subject, students have done conduct research directly into the field to implement the knowledge they have gained in the community. They conducted research at the AL-Magfiroh TPQ in Denpasar. The condition of TPQ which is located in Al- Magfiroh Mosque has been established since 2019 with 145 students. This research uses Zuber's theory reference and PAR method approach, with stages of observation, data collection, monitoring / action, and evaluation. PAR is transformative and empowers the research locus community, so that it produces a work program, which is teaching at the TPQ with the Yanbua method and together with the guardians of students encourages students in the form of books and stationery, on the activities of increasing volumes. The evaluation of the research is finding the condition of the class is less conducive and the lack of teaching staff. As follow-ups are material, condition the addition and increase the quality of the teaching staff.

Simpang Tuan Village in Tanjung Jabung Timur Distric has a fairly  high smoking problem that is 79.9% (Primary Health Care Data). Based on these data, it can be concluded that smokers in Simpang Tuan village are already at the stage of addiction, as a result smoking behavior is difficult to stop. The PKM-M team has provided a method that is quite effective in dealing with people who smoke by conducting socialization activities on the dangers of smoking, giving stickers, signing petitions and making commitment boards. The purpose of this program is as a community service effort to create a smoke-free area. Methods: This program is carried out for 1 month, from April to May 2019, and ends with an evaluation of activities, namely by visiting residents' homes and asking what changes have been experienced after this program. Results: Through this program, the PKM-M team has obtained satisfactory results, because the response and appreciation of the community towards this program is very good. This can be seen from the evaluation results that show 80% of people have reduced cigarette consumption at home and people are starting to realize not to smoke in the surrounding environment. Conclusion: this method effective to reduced cigarette consumption 

The West Batu Layar village has good economic potential because along the coast has developed business activities in the tourism sector. The West Batu Layar village has development as a tourist area with negative effects wich increase the cases of exploitation children such as prostitutes, harassment and promiscuity. The foundation of Galang Anak Semesta (GAGAS) Mataram with the Down to Zero program organize training for children's rights, reproduction health, and prevention of Commercial Sexual Exploitation in Children (Eksploitasi Seksual Komersial pada Anak/ESKA). But, the medical treatment has not been maximally for prevention and handling of victims. The purpose of this activity is to counseling and training of child health cadres. Method: This activity uses the Community Empowering approach, which is approach activity through a member of the LPAD of West Batu Layar village. Evaluation of the activities is carried out by posttest directly and in writing to the participants present. Results: This activity have formed a team of health care with increasing of knowledge the participants after treatment more than 25%, so this activity can be said to be successful. Conclusion: The formation of health cadres caring for the exploitation of children in the village of batu layar barat amountes to 10 people, with the level of knowledge of participants increased by more than 25% after being carried out counselling for 3 days. It is expected that the formed of the health cadres of children can become health cadres for children who experience exploitation to apply the principle of healthy living.

Community service activities carried out in Babakan Village,  Ciparay District, Bandung Regency are community service activities that become the annual agenda of the Immanuel College of Health Sciences in Bandung. In 2018, the Nursing D3 study program focuses community service activities at Babakan III Elementary School. The target of these community service activities is for students in grades 1 through 6. The aim of community service is to increase the knowledge of SD Babakan III students about personal hygiene, and to know the optimization of personal hygiene. Method: This activity was carried out in SD Babakan III using a community empowerment approach. The intended community is  elementary school students in Babakan III, Ciparay Subdistrict, especially classes 3 and 4, as many as 85 students were trained for 2 days. The form of training provided is through the provision of material with lectures, discussions and demonstrations. Results: Based on the evaluation in the form of pre-test and posttest, there was an increase in students' knowledge, from 60% to 90%. This training also provides enrichment about personal hygiene for class teachers in SD Babakan III, Ciparay District. Conclusion: This training was conducted at SDN Babakan III with a total of 85 students, with a good level of knowledge (90%) after 2 days of training. It is hoped that the training that has been carried out will be able to become the foundation for behavior change in the school environment and at home by applying the principles of healthy living. 

Every two minutes one person dies of cardiac arrest. death rates can  be prevented if the victim gets immediate assistance, if someone who is trained in pulmonary cardiac resuscitation (CPR) provides basic life support until medical assistance takes over. Basic life support can be done by anyone and anywhere as soon as possible at the beginning of the occurrence of cardiac arrest to increase survival. This activity aims to provided health education to the community so that they can know and demonstrate how to provide basic life support in cases of cardiac arrest. Methods: Health education uses the lecture method of discussion accompanied by demonstration with power point media which is assisted with LCD and projector for 30 minutes then followed by demonstration using CPR manikin(Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for 10 minutes. A sample size of 30 people in Br. Tek-Tek, Desa Peguyangan, Denpasar Utara with accidental sampling technique. Results: The minimum results achieved are 80% at the point of practicing how to provide pulmonary heart resuscitation and a value of 100% is at 2 points of each evaluation which mentions the meaning of basic life support and mentions the steps of basic life support, while for indications and contraindications from basic life support 90% of participants were able to mention it. Conclusion: Health education program activities and demonstrations about basic life support that have been implemented are very useful to increase knowledge and are expected to be able to practice and provide first aid in cases of respiratory arrest and cardiac arrest. 

Various problems with the destruction of the Indonesian nation and state life institutions are increasingly approaching concerns. The emergence of grassroots movements that undermine the people of this nation is increasingly visible and shows a crisis of exemplary in the community, thus giving rise to a series of socio-cultural conflicts that occur in the midst of society in various regions. The participants in this service program are, non-productive society, civic teachers at Senior High School Teacher in Surakarta City. They are a pioneer of Pancasila Teachers who need education and training in the form of Character Development Training activities as one of the activities that will sustain and filter the problems of socio-cultural conflicts that arise in society so that peace and comfortable will be achieved in people's lives. The results of this program are as a part of this service activity in the form of Social manipulation and Models that reflect systematically arranged steps, from an activity consisting of a guide module for Character Building Training with national-scale scientific articles that will support character nation building in the framework of implementing mental revolution . While the method used in this service is CIPP stands for evaluation of the whole based on Context, Inputs, Process, and Product. The results of this service are reducing socio-cultural conflicts in the life of the Pancasila, in order to implement the Mental Revolution. The title of this devotion is "Tutoring to overcome learning difficulties" the guidance of learning is part of the guidance and counseling that has the purpose of guiding the child in order to achieve optimum learning achievement (according to his ability), especially for children who have learning difficulties or those whose value is ugly even though the IQ is not low. Parents and teachers are expected to be mentors for children who like it. However, not all parents and teachers can become mentors to children who are having difficulty learning it well. They need to know what they can do to overcome / guide the child in order to perform optimally. To overcome this it is necessary to have additional knowledge and understanding of learning guidance. The target audience in this devotion program is Non-Productive Society of teachers and parents of kindergarten Lakshmi 7 Surakarta. They need to be given additional knowledge because the kindergarten teacher Lakshmi 7 does not have S1 background but Lakshmi 7 kindergarten teacher only from SMK, so the knowledge about guidance and counseling that should be given to the child is not found in school and not understood at all. so also with the parents of students who only average background of high school graduates they also understand the Guidance and Counseling that should be given also for Children. So that both at school and home children do not get guidance as it should be. While the method used in this devotion is Lecture / counseling and discussion and training. In this case, counseling is deemed best suited to increase their knowledge and understanding of counseling and guidance for children. As the evaluation is used questionnaires and discussions to explore their implementation in the field after counseling. The results of this dedication of parents and teachers to understand the importance of tutoring for children overcome learning difficulties. While the results of training as a guide in learning obtained 77.8% (21 Parents and teachers) can carry out its role as a mentor learning for children. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the devotion of learning guidance to overcome learning difficulties in parents and teachers Kindergarten Lakshmi 7 Turisari Surakarta successful. This can be evidenced from the results of the training that was attended by 27 people already able to be a mentor of 21 people.Keywords: Counseling, Guidance learn to overcome learning difficulties, teachers and parents.

This community service aims to (1) provide understanding in the preparation of learning tools that are integrated with environmental education, (2) socialize innovative programs as an effort to realize the school’s cares and cultured environment, and (3) inculcate the attitude of environmental concern and scientific attitude to students of elementary school. The place of the community service is done in SDN Prawit I No. 69 Surakarta. Methods of implementation of community service include: (1) the approach method undertaken from the survey, licensing and motivation stages for the teacher to be trained (2) the method of program implementation, including the preliminary stage, the socialization and audience stage, the implementation stage and the final evaluation stage. The expected output targets is the teacher who attended this training is able to arrange learning tools and able to realize the program to the school’s cares and cultured environment. The resulting output is educational environment-oriented learning tools, Green Club's extracurricular design, implementation program in realizing a caring and cultured school environment, and publication of community service articles in scientific journals. Based on the dedication that has been done, the teachers feel interested and start designing environmentally oriented learning tools, schools have implemented clean and healthy life behaviour, and start running programs to adiwiyata school.Keywords: Environmental Concern Attitude, Scientific Attitude, School’s Care and Cultured Environment.

This study aims to design learning media that can increase enthusiasm, motivation, and understanding of students, and can facilitate teachers in learning Javanese subjects with material listening to the Werkudara puppet story. The method used in research is R&D (Research and Development) while the method used in the development of instructional media is the waterfall method. The story developed is a story with the title (1) Butcher Bilawa, (2) Bima Bungkus, and (3) Bima Suci. To produce a learning media researchers use a design processing program including; Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe After Effects CS6, Adobe Audition CS6, Pinnacle Studio 16, Adobe Flash CS6 with the final product in the form of an interactive CD. The results of the assessment by media experts and material experts, get the criteria value "quite good" - "very good" and tend to approach the criteria of "very good", while the results of the final product trial evaluation by students shows that all students totaling 23 children "agree" - "strongly agree" and approach the "strongly agree" category with the use of developed learning media. Thus the learning media for puppet story animation was declared feasible to facilitate learning activities in Javanese subjects to listen to the Werkudara puppet story in fifth grade students of Kutosari 02 State Elementary School.

This community service activity is motivated by the importance of Strengthening digital communication capacity within environmental communities to support the sustainability of community-based environmental conservation movements. The MAT PECI Community (Indonesian Community for Ciliwung Care) as an active partner in conservation and education along the Ciliwung River still faces limitations in managing digital organizational communication, particularly in documentation, publication, and social media optimization aspects. This activity aims to enhance the capacity of community members in utilizing digital media as a means of communication, education, and environmental advocacy. The method used is Participatory Action Research with a participatory approach that involves the community actively from problem identification, planning, implementation, to evaluation. The program includes digital communication training, mentoring in social media content creation, basic photography and videography training, and the development of community digital publication strategies. The results show an increase in members’ understanding and skills in using social media, behavioral changes toward more structured documentation, greater awareness of the importance of digital communication, and the formation of a more directed organizational communication system. The findings indicate that strengthening community-based digital communication is effective in social empowerment and supports the sustainability of environmental conservation movements.
