Face is one of the unique parts of the human body and can be used for identification purposes. Research on the application of facial recognition biometric technology has been carried out since 1960 and continues to be refined to this day. Humans can easily recognize an object or image, but not for a computer. This is the background behind the creation of a scientific discipline called Computer Vision. One deep learning algorithm that has been extensively researched and used for classifying various images is Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The COVID-19 requires us to comply with health protocols, one of which is by wearing a mask when doing activities outside the home. The biometric presence system that is commonly used today can pose a risk of transmission because they have to touch the surface of an object that may have been contaminated from someone infected with the COVID-19 virus. Seeing the risks posed and the relevance to the times when people are accustomed to wearing masks, a study was conducted to create a masked face recognition system using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with VGG16 architecture. The dataset used was in the form of people's faces who were willing to be the object of research. This study produced highest accuracy rate of 85,71% with the application of various types of masks, namely surgical, cloth, and KF94 masks.

Verbs are the action words that describe what the subject is doing. Many verbs are synonymous, namely, they could convey very similar meanings, such as the verbs hurry and rush, which roughly convey ‘speeded actions’. This paper presents a corpus linguistic study of the semantic preferences of hurry and rush in terms of the nouns that co-occur (i.e., collocate) with them. The noun collocations data, and their degree of association with the verbs, were extracted from the Corpus of Contemporary American English focusing on collocates appearing within a two-words window to the right (i.e., after) and to the left of (i.e., before) hurry and rush. These collocates were further analyzed semantically for (i) their semantic fields using the Concepticon catalogue (List et al. 2023) and (ii) their broader noun types (Wren 2021). Overall, we found that hurry and rush exhibit distinct collocational patterns and semantic preferences, particularly in terms of the preferred semantic fields (e.g., KINSHIP, RELIGION AND BELIEF, EMOTION AND VALUE are semantic fields preferred for the left-side collocates of hurry while rush is associated with THE BODY and SOCIAL AND POLITICAL RELATIONS). This study shows that synonymous verbs can have distinct semantic patterns.

The scarcity of subsidized fertilizers in Indonesia is spread evenly, one of the farmers who complained about the spike in prices for non-subsidized fertilizers and the scarcity of subsidized fertilizers was also experienced by farmers from Tuban District, Rengel District in Kebonagung Village, Kebonagung Village is a village where 40.3% of the residents have a livelihood. as farmers and breeders, farmers in fulfilling fertilizer rely on loans with quite high interest (Kadir, 2022). In Kebonagung village, the majority of residents still cultivate livestock in the traditional way, namely by releasing them and letting them go wild, creating problems including the large amount of livestock manure which causes environmental pollution in the village. Livestock can produce 12% waste by body weight and if not treated properly it will become waste and environmental pollution, because livestock manure contains NH3, NH and other compounds. this creates a new problem, namely an unpleasant and disturbing odor, the piled up waste will be disposed of after it dries up a little and is spread directly on their respective agricultural lands without any processing. The aim of this PKM is the utilization of cow manure waste into biogas as an alternative energy source. This activity was divided into three stages, namely the socialization stage, making biogas installations, and mentoring. PKM activities can have a good impact on the Kebonagung Ulusan village community so that environmental pollution can be resolved.
