Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an important role in shaping the character of students in Indonesia, especially at higher health education institutions such as STIKES Griya Husada Sumbawa. This article aims to explore the role of PAI learning in building student character and identify the challenges faced in its implementation. This research used a qualitative method with a field study approach, involving 30 students from the Nursing, Public Health and Midwifery Study Programs. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using triangulation to ensure validity. The research results show that the majority of students consider PAI learning to be very important, although there are challenges related to the relevance of the material and teaching methods used. PAI learning is proven to have a positive impact on student character, however the application of these values ​​in everyday life still faces obstacles. These findings emphasize the importance of improvements in the PAI curriculum and teaching methods to increase its effectiveness in forming superior student character and integrity.

Christian religious education plays a crucial role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation, where Christian Religious Education Teachers (PAK) bear a significant responsibility in instilling Christian values. This study aims to investigate the role of professional ethics in the implementation of the PAK teacher's code of ethics and how it can enhance the quality of Christian religious education, particularly in building positive teacher-student relationships. The methodology employed in this study is qualitative analysis with a hermeneutical approach, examining the text of the code of ethics and professional ethics based on Christian values. The findings of the study indicate that professional ethics is not merely an additional moral guideline, but a deeper foundation for understanding and applying the code of ethics in various situations. Professional ethics assists PAK teachers in maintaining integrity, professional honesty, and creating a conducive learning environment. Furthermore, this study discovered that the integration of professional ethics and the code of ethics can enhance the accountability of PAK teachers and overall improve the quality of education. The conclusion of this study affirms that the application of professional ethics grounded in Christian values is paramount for PAK teachers in fulfilling their duties, enabling them to shape a younger generation with noble character and a Pancasila spirit. This study contributes to the development of Christian religious education in Indonesia by emphasizing the importance of ethics in the teaching profession, creating a positive learning environment that supports students' spiritual growth.  

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Rahmatan lil 'Alamin Islamic concept in character education at SDN Seneng 1 Krucil Probolinggo. The study highlights the importance of applying Islamic values that bring mercy to all of creation as a foundation for shaping students' character with tolerance and noble ethics. The research methodology is qualitative, using a case study approach, involving Islamic Religious Education teachers and the principal as the research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the Rahmatan lil 'Alamin concept at SDN Seneng 1 Krucil has had a positive impact on shaping students' character. This concept teaches religious values that prioritize compassion, interfaith tolerance, and peace in daily life. Furthermore, students are encouraged to develop empathy, respect, and become agents of change for the benefit of society. The study concludes that the Rahmatan lil 'Alamin concept can serve as a guideline for character education to create a generation with noble morals who can live harmoniously in a pluralistic society.

The rapid development of technology and increasingly complex global challenges have a significant impact on the mindset and behavior of today's youth. Pondok pesantren, as a traditional Islamic educational institution, plays a crucial role in shaping the character of young people, fostering good morals, discipline, and responsibility. This study aims to explore the role of pondok pesantren in character building among youth in the modern era. The research adopts a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis with pesantren leaders, teachers, and students. The findings indicate that pondok pesantren play a vital role in shaping students' character through religious education, the application of daily routines that instill discipline, and social activities that promote a sense of responsibility. Pondok pesantren also adapt to modern times by incorporating technology into the learning process while maintaining traditional values. In conclusion, pondok pesantren are effective in shaping a generation of youth who are not only intellectually capable but also possess strong character, discipline, and high moral standards.

The learning of the Qur'an and Hadith plays an important role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation, especially at the Elementary School level. The learning of the Qur'an and Hadith is expected to instill values of faith, diversity, as well as foster attitudes of tolerance and social concern among students. This study aims to describe the learning of Surah An-Nas using the drill method, the steps of its implementation, and its execution at SDN 1 Slaharwotan Ngimbang Lamongan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving Islamic Education teachers and students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that learning through the drill method is effective in improving students' ability to read and memorize the Qur'an, especially Surah An-Nas, with correct pronunciation (tartil) and fluency. The learning model is technology-based or a multimedia learning model, where teaching takes place using tools and media such as LCD projectors, active speakers, notebooks, and interactive learning CDs, demonstrating the application of technology to support the teaching and learning process, as well as increasing interactivity and effectiveness. The learning method uses repetition (drill), so it is hoped that the material being taught will be retained in students' memory. This study provides insights into the importance of teacher competence in developing teaching materials that suit the developmental needs of students, as well as the importance of adjusting teaching methods to the curriculum and the characteristics of children in Elementary Schools.

This research examines the influence of learning moral beliefs on student behavior at MAN 1 Gorontalo Regency. Due to the increase in juvenile delinquency due to changes in social norms. So this research wants to identify the extent to which learning aqidah morals contributes to student behavior. The research used a quantitative approach with a sample of 83 students taken using the Slovin method. Data was collected through a questionnaire which was tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results of the research show that the calculated F value is 0.997, which is smaller than the F table of 3.96 and the significance level is 0.321 which is above 0.05, that there is no influence of learning moral beliefs on student behavior. External factors such as family environment, peers and the media are more influential in shaping their behavior.

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' character and morals, especially amidst the increasingly complex flow of globalization. In the era of fast and diverse information, the method of delivering PAI material needs to be adjusted so that it remains relevant and effective for the younger generation. PAI is not just a theoretical teaching, but also a place to instill moral and ethical values ​​contained in Islamic teachings. One approach that is increasingly popular in education today is active learning. Active learning emphasizes direct student participation in the learning process. In this approach, students not only act as recipients of information, but also as explorers, discussants, and implementers of the material being studied. This involvement is important because it can help students understand religious concepts more deeply and critically, and connect them to their daily experiences and life contexts.    

Determining outstanding students is one of the important programs at TPQ Roudhotul Jannah to give appreciation to students and motivate them to be more enthusiastic about learning. To support an objective and fair selection process, this research implemented the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in determining outstanding students. The criteria used include the value of memorizing prayers and letters, attendance, discipline, morals, independence, and reading the Koran. This research shows that the SAW method is able to provide results that are structured, transparent, and in accordance with predetermined assessment standards, so that the selection process becomes more effective.

Reconstructionism argues that education is not only responsible for shaping individuals, but also plays a role in building a just and equal society. The principles of this school emphasize the important role of education in dealing with the global crisis, as well as the need for a relevant curriculum to foster students' character and morals. This school places teachers as agents of change who play an important role in guiding students to face the challenges of the times, as well as designing a curriculum that prioritizes social interests. Thus, reconstructionism emphasizes the importance of education in saving civilization through the formation of character, morality, and a new, more humanist culture.

This study aims to explore the role of a spiritual approach based on the Quran and Hadith in shaping the character of students (santri) at Pesantren Raudlatul Hasaniyah Mojolegi Gading Probolinggo. A qualitative approach using a case study method was employed to analyze activities such as the Ngaji of the Riyadussholihin book, congregational Tahajjud prayer, and congregational Dhuha prayer. The findings indicate that these religious activities have a positive impact on the character development of the santri. The Ngaji of the Riyadussholihin book deepens religious and ethical understanding, while the Tahajjud and Dhuha prayers teach discipline, steadfastness, and gratitude. Overall, the implementation of a spiritual approach based on the teachings of the Quran and Hadith has successfully contributed to the formation of santri with improved character, noble morals, and readiness to face life's challenges. This study emphasizes the importance of religious education in the holistic development of character, including spiritual, moral, and social aspects.

This study aims to determine the implementation of the karawitan extracurricular program at MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten. To determine the instillation of Islamic religious education values through the karawitan extracurricular program at MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten. The type of research used in this thesis is field research, which is a type of research that seeks to collect information data regarding problems in the field. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentation. The location of this research is at MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten. The subjects of this study were the Principal of MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten, the instructor of the karawitan extracurricular program of MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten, the Islamic Religious Education Teacher of MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten and the students of MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten. The results of this study are that the karawitan extracurricular program at MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten aims to preserve Javanese culture, especially karawitan. The implementation of the karawitan extracurricular program at MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten is attended by students of grades X and XI which is carried out routinely once a week every Monday. Learning is carried out both in theory and practice. Supporting factors for the implementation of the karawitan extracurricular program include teachers who are competent in their fields, student interest or enthusiasm, and the existence of a karawitan extracurricular program implementation schedule. The obstacles are the facilities and infrastructure that are not yet complete. instilling the values of Islamic Religious Education through the extracurricular gamelan program at MA Al-Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Klaten has 3 aspects, namely faith, morals and worship.

The social media-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is an innovative approach in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning that utilizes digital platforms to build more interesting and relevant learning interactions. This study aims to examine the extent of the effectiveness of this model in improving students' understanding of Islamic values, such as morals, ethics, and morals. By using social media, students are invited to discuss and solve problems related to current issues, making the learning process more contextual and experience-based. This research was conducted by literature study method, analyzing various literature related to the implementation of the PBL model, the use of social media in education, and its role in the formation of Islamic character. The results of the study show that this model is able to increase students' involvement in learning and deepen their appreciation of Islamic values through active interaction and critical reflection. However, the implementation of this model is inseparable from challenges such as disruption from irrelevant content, lack of digital literacy, and limited access to technology. To overcome this, good social media management, supervision of student activities, and improvement of digital infrastructure in schools are needed. With the right approach, the social media-based PBL model has the potential to be an effective strategy in building students' Islamic character in the digital era.

Digital technology has had a big impact on the world of education today. Some of the positive and negative impacts of digital technology on education are: 1) Making it easier to find information. Many students do not have access to the devices and internet necessary for distance learning. 2) Lack of focus. The amount of interesting information through digital technology makes students less focused on learning. 3) Education without character. Students prefer to explore cyberspace with various interesting information presented, so they pay less attention to the character and values ​​taught at school. 4) Spread of pornography: Technological advances also have negative impacts such as the spread of pornography among students which will damage the morals of the current generation of teenagers.

PJBL activities with the theme “Education of Ethical and Moral Values in Junior High School Students have been successfully implemented at SMPN 174 Jakarta. We took this theme with the aim of educating students how important ethics and morals are in everyday life. How to dress and how to speak to teachers, parents, friends and others. Learning planning in Christian religious education has a significant role in shaping student character based on Christian values. Christian religious education teachers provide guidance for students in understanding the values ​​of faith such as love, justice, humility, forgiveness, and service to others, apart from just being teachers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach by carrying out a literature review to find the role played by Christian religious education teachers in developing the learning process. From the research results, it was revealed that effective learning planning is able to provide support for students in understanding and applying religious values ​​in their daily activities. However, teachers face several challenges, such as limited resources, lack of adequate training, resistance to change, and difficulties in implementing online learning. Improving teacher skills, utilizing technology, creating relevant modules, and collaboration between schools are key elements in the proposed solution. By applying the latest appropriate strategies, Christian religious education teachers can create effective learning experiences to guide a generation with good morals in accordance with Christian principles and ready to face the dynamics of ever-changing times.

The formation of religious character is a habit that is carried out to shape the student's personality so that they have morals and character that are embedded in the student as a guide for life in the future. To make this happen, schools are trying to find new programs that can grow student character and improve the quality of education at school. One of the efforts made by MIS Hidayatul Muhajirin to shape the religious character of these students is by implementing regular Yasin reading activities together. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study methods and field practice which is directly followed by researchers at MIS Hidayatul Muhajirin Palangka Raya City starting from July to November 2024. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the activity of implementing Yasin reading together regularly, which is carried out every Saturday morning at MIS Hidayatul Muhajirin, Palangka Raya City, which is attended by all students, teachers and students of MBKM IAIN Palangka Raya, is able to shape the students' religious character through refraction which is carried out every morning through activities and positive things from the routine of implementing Yasin reading together to create a generation that has good morals and behavior in line with the teachings of the Islamic religion.

Education plays an important role in shaping a child's character and personality. Schools as formal educational institutions are not only tasked with imparting knowledge, but are also a place for the formation of social values, morals and behavior. (Cahyani et al., 2021) However, the reality shows that schools are often places where negative behavior emerges, one of which is bullying. The method used in this community service activity uses a participatory method by involving the school in the continuity of socialization activities. The approach taken is to direct and explain efforts to deal with the implications of bullying through the elementary school environment. The place of service was carried out at SDN Penikenek, Nagawutung District, Lembata Regency involving research subjects consisting of the Principal, teachers, students, grades 1-6. Community service activities with the title "educational services in overcoming the implications of bullying at SDN Penikenek in Penikenek Village, Nagawutung District, Lembata Regency". Penikenek Elementary School is an elementary school with 39 students and 11 teachers. This service activity takes place by providing material through outreach and donating wall magazines in the form of magazines related to bullying prevention. Implementation of the outreach program at SDN Penikenek is a strategic step designed to increase students' awareness and understanding regarding the dangers of bullying. In this activity, material about the definition, impact and ways to prevent bullying is delivered using a participatory method involving all elements of the school. This method has proven effective in creating open dialogue, building empathy, and increasing collective commitment to overcoming bullying.

This study aims to analyze the alignment of life values contained in Surah Al-Maidah, verse 36, with the objectives of Islamic education. The verse teaches the importance of moral accountability, sincerity in repentance, and spiritual awareness, which can be applied in the learning process to shape students' character. The method used is a qualitative approach with thematic analysis of relevant tafsir and literature related to the research theme. The findings indicate that the values in Surah Al-Maidah, verse 36, are highly relevant to the principles of Islamic education, which emphasize the formation of noble character, social responsibility, and spiritual awareness. The implication of these findings is the importance of integrating these values into the Islamic education curriculum so that education focuses not only on intellectual aspects but also on shaping students' character with good morals and high spiritual awareness.
