Effective network management is the main need in the world of information technology, especially for companies engaged in network infrastructure. One of the devices that is often used to support network connectivity is MikroTik. This journal aims to design MikroTik configuration learning based on the OSI Layer Model at PT Proxi Jaringan Nusantara, focusing on setting MikroTik so that it can be connected to the internet. The learning method is designed using theoretical and simulation approaches, including the introduction of the OSI Layer Model as the basis of network communication and the technical steps of MikroTik configuration, such as IP Address settings, NAT (Network Address Translation), DHCP Server, and basic Firewall. The simulation results show that the configuration carried out in accordance with the OSI Layer Model can improve network stability and efficiency. This learning is designed to provide practical and in-depth solutions for authors in understanding MicroTik-based network management.

This study aims to analyze the development and trends in rice production in North Sumatra Province during the period 2020–2024 using a descriptive statistical approach. The data used is secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the form of rice production, harvest area, and productivity. The results of the analysis show that rice production fluctuated but tended to increase, with the highest production in 2024 at 2,204,875.51 tons and the lowest in 2021 at 2,004,142.51 tons. Trend analysis produced a positive slope value of 32,861 tons per year, indicating a long-term upward trend in production. The correlation between harvest area and production shows a strong positive relationship, where an increase in harvest area is consistently followed by an increase in production. Factors affecting production fluctuations include climate change, land area, cropping patterns, and agricultural infrastructure and policy support. Overall, the results of the study confirm that increases in rice production are highly dependent on land management, productivity, and the stability of climatic conditions in the North Sumatra region.

The resolution of disputes in infrastructure projects requires an effective mechanism to ensure smooth project implementation. The fraudulent bank guarantee case in the Pandaan-Malang Toll Road project revealed weaknesses in public procurement oversight, where PT Setdco submitted a falsified bank guarantee, potentially causing losses to the Ministry of Public Works (PU) amounting to IDR 26.09 billion. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism in this case. The research employs a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach, utilizing primary data such as arbitration documents and contracts, and secondary data from legal literature and media reports. The findings indicate that arbitration conducted through BANI provided a fast, fair, and binding solution for the disputing parties. However, the effectiveness of arbitration relies on the supervision of award implementation and regulations supporting accountability. In conclusion, arbitration can be a reliable mechanism for resolving infrastructure disputes if supported by an adequate system.

This study describes the efforts made on the maritime boundary issues that occurred between Peru and Chile. Each began in 1947, where the State claimed jurisdiction and exclusive rights to waters 200 miles from each other's coast. The official dispute that occurred between the two began in 2007 when Peru certified the description of the sea that overlapped between the two parties. This type of research is qualitative. The research method used is descriptive analysis technique. Most of the data was collected through library studies and website searches. The data obtained were then analyzed using a theoretical approach related to International Relations, namely international organizations. The results of the study show that from both countries there were no results that described peace over the dispute that occurred because both countries had different interpretations of the borders they had. The last effort was taken firmly by Peru where the dispute would be submitted to the International Court of Justice in order to obtain peace and a decision on the sea areas of Peru and Chile in accordance with International Law through the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Pronunciation in a second language (L2) is often influenced by the first language (L1), which can hinder intelligibility. Indonesian speakers struggle with certain English sounds, such as /θ/ and /ð/, due to their absence in the L1 phonetic system. To identify the influence of L1 on L2 pronunciation in the context of English language learning in Indonesia and propose strategies to reduce negative transfer effects. This qualitative study used a case study approach, involving 9 students from an English club at XYZ School. A pronunciation test was conducted to measure phonetic transfer between L1 and L2. Results show that L1 phonetic transfer causes errors in specific phonemes. Words with higher phonetic complexity are more challenging to pronounce correctly. Negative phonetic transfer and a lack of prosodic training were identified as major obstacles. Context-based and intensive phonetic training significantly improves pronunciation skills. L2 pronunciation errors are strongly influenced by L1, phonetic complexity, and individual experience. Contextual learning and individualized approaches positively impact pronunciation improvement.
