Cardiovascular disease especially coronary heart disease (CHD) and stroke, is the main cause of global death, with increased blood lipid levels as one of the risk factors. This research offers the potential of anthocyanin-rich berry supplements in reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels and improving blood lipid profiles through a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trial studies (RCTs). Data was collected from various databases and filtered based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Analysis shows that consumption of berry supplements containing anthocyanins can reduce LDL-C levels by 0.29 mmol/L compared to the control group, with a p value <0.05 and I2 = 79%, indicating that the variation between these studies is heterogeneous. These findings are in line with previous research which showed a 13.6% reduction in serum LDL-C levels in the group consuming anthocyanins. In the whortleberry exposure group, the results showed that of the two journal articles analyzed, the data points fell outside the confidence interval (CI), indicating there was no significant difference in the results of the studies. The use of anthocyanins on berries other than whortleberries showed a significant effect, while on whortleberries, the difference with or without anthocyanins was not significant. The results of this study emphasize the importance of consuming anthocyanin-rich berry supplements in improving blood lipid profiles and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, and support the development of anthocyanin-based nutritional supplements as an effective public health strategy.

The microbubble generator is an essential technology in various applications, such as water treatment, due to its ability to improve mass transfer efficiency, particularly ocygenation. Bubble breakup is a critical process that affects bubble size and its distribution in the solution, In this study, the experimental investigation focuses on analyzing the bubble breakup phenomenon in a venturi-type microbubble generator (MBG) equipped with a twisted baffle. Water flow rates  and air flow rates ) were varied at  = 40 and 60 lpm and   = 0,2 and 0,6 lpm. The methods used in this study include visualizing the bubble breakup process using a high-speed camera and measuring pressure fluctuations in the MBG detected by a pressure transducer. The analysis involves Power Spectral Density (PSD), Probability Density Function (PDF) of pressure drop, and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). The tests were conducted with variations in water and air flow rates, as well as pressure measurements to understand the interaction between liquid and gas flows. The analysis results indicate that the presence of the twisted baffle significantly increases flow turbulence, which accelerates the bubble breakup process. This process produce smaller and more evenly distributed bubbles, which is crucial for enchancing dissolved ocygen (DO) levels in the solution.

The Bawean fault is one of the faults that needs to be watched out for because it is located in the north of Madura Island, which has a population of up to millions of people. One of the mitigation measure that can be taken is the mapping of Bawean Fault to determine characteristics of Bawean Fault. In this research, Bawean Fault mapping was conducted using derivative analysis with gravity data from TOPEX website in the form of FAA (Free Air Anomaly) data. That data, then processed to obtain FHD (First Horizontal Derivative) to determine suspected fault line and SVD (Second Vertical Derivative) value to determine fault mechanism. The steps to obtaining the FHD ((First Horizontal Derivative) value and SVD (Second Vertical Derivative) value are determining the average density using Nettleton method separating regional and residual anomalies using the moving average method, processing regional anomalies with derivative analysis until the FHD (First Horizontal Derivative) and SVD (Second Vertical Derivative) maps are obtained. An cross section was then made on the suspected fault line to determine the exact fault line and fault mechanism. The results obtained from the FHD (First Horizontal Derivative) and SVD (Second Vertical Derivative) map incisions show that the Bawean Fault has a mechanism of thrust fault. However, by considering various sources, it can be concluded that the Bawean Fault has an oblique fault mechanism with the influence of a thrust mechanism.

This study aims to explore the root growth patterns of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) cultivated in a polybag system, and examine the implications for nutrient absorption efficiency and plant survival. The method used was a systematic literature review, with narrative analysis of recent studies in the last five years. Data were analyzed to identify the relationship between root architecture, growing medium, and nutrient absorption efficiency.  The results showed that the polybag system, with its limited root growing space, promoted adaptation of root growth patterns, including an increase in lateral root density and a reduction in primary root length. Coconut fiber- and vermiculite-based growing media were shown to increase nutrient absorption capacity by up to 30%, while inoculation of rhizosphere microorganisms, such as mycorrhiza, increased phosphorus use efficiency by up to 25%. In addition, optimal root zone temperature plays an important role in supporting root metabolic activities.  The conclusion of this study confirms that optimizing root growth patterns through growing media, temperature management, and utilization of microorganisms can significantly increase the productivity of cucumber plants. These findings provide a basis for developing more efficient and sustainable cultivation strategies in modern horticultural systems.
