Employee performance is a strategic aspect that plays an important role in achieving company goals, especially in facing increasingly fierce business competition. Employee performance is not formed directly, but is influenced by various internal organizational factors, such as work discipline, compensation systems, and work environment conditions. This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, compensation, and work environment on employee performance at PT Dunia Aneka Usaha. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is a saturated sample, so that the entire population of 70 employees was used as research respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires compiled based on indicators of each variable and measured using a Likert scale. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests to ensure the quality of the research instrument, as well as statistical analysis in the form of t-tests, F-tests, and multiple linear regression analysis to test the proposed hypotheses. The results of the study indicate that work discipline, compensation, and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that improving work discipline, providing appropriate compensation, and creating a conducive work environment can encourage improved employee performance. Therefore, companies are advised to manage these three factors sustainably so that employee performance improves and organizational goals can be achieved optimally.

This study aims to analyze the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in improving community welfare in Tanarawa Village, Waiblama District, Sikka Regency, and to evaluate the implementation of BUMDes programs. Tanarawa Village has primary economic potential in the plantation and food crop sectors, managed largely by the community as farmers. BUMDes was established as an instrument for village economic empowerment with the aim of increasing Village Original Income (PAD), strengthening the local economy, and maximizing the utilization of natural resources and human resources. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that BUMDes Tanarawa is still in the development stage, although it has been able to contribute to community welfare through the provision of basic necessities, training, outreach, and consultations related to business management. The success of BUMDes is influenced by government support, quality leadership, community participation, and transparent and accountable management. However, limited understanding by the community and village officials, as well as obstacles in implementing outreach, are inhibiting factors that need to be addressed. This study confirms that BUMDes plays a strategic role in local economic empowerment, improving community welfare, and equitable distribution of village economic growth.

In Indonesia, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have long been recognized as a very important business sector due to their various real roles in the economy. However, MSMEs often face many obstacles in running their businesses. More incentive support from various parties, especially the government, is needed for the development of MSMEs. In order to overcome the problems faced by MSMEs and support their sustainability, a KKU (Business Field Study) activity was carried out by Group 15 at the KKU-11 of the Institute of Technology and Business (ITB) Adias Pemalang at the MSME “Ev_Kids Product.”After conducting an observation phase, several problems faced by the SME were identified, including the lack of social media for marketing, failure to calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and maintain simple accounting records, absence of a business logo, banners, promotional image designs, organizational structure, business profile, product catalog, stamps, receipt books, and product attributes. Additionally, the SME had never produced a production video or promotional video.After conducting the observation phase, KKU actors formulated several business development assistance programs, namely creating social media accounts, calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), creating simple bookkeeping, creating a business logo, banners, promotional image designs, organizational structure, business profile, product catalog, stamps, note books, and product attributes in the form of hangtags. They also created production videos and promotional videos.

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality on consumer satisfaction in the Kipang Sisera Panyabungan Business. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and questionnaire distribution to 96 respondents who are customers of Kipang Sisera. The data obtained were analyzed using validity, reliability, and regression analysis tests with the help of SPSS 25. The results of the validity test showed that all items in the questionnaire were valid with a rtable value of > (0.1689), while the results of the reliability test using Alpha Cronbach showed a value of > 0.60, which means that the research instrument is trustworthy. The results of the partial regression test (t-test) showed that product quality had a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The determination coefficient (R²) test showed that product quality contributed 62.9% to consumer satisfaction, while the rest was influenced by other variables that were not studied in this study. These findings indicate that improving product quality, both in terms of taste, packaging, and quality consistency, is very important in maintaining consumer satisfaction and the sustainability of Kipang Sisera's business in the midst of market competition.

Paid online matchmaking services that have developed through Facebook use consumer profiles to promote and find partners. This practice raises legal issues, particularly those related to consumer protection and the risk of digital harassment—also known as cyberbullying—in the form of derogatory, discriminatory, or offensive comments about consumers' personal standards that are displayed publicly. The purpose of this study is to assess the legal liability of business actors for cyberbullying when operating online matchmaking services and to assess the extent to which legal protection tools are available to consumers. This study uses a normative legal approach, utilizing case studies of legislation and conceptual studies on the practice of paid matchmaking services on social media. The results of the study show that businesses are required to guarantee the safety, comfort, and protection of consumer rights in all digital-based commercial activities, including managing content and interacting with people on social media. Non-material losses, such as psychological pressure and abuse of consumer dignity, are caused by a lack of supervision and a lack of moderate comment mechanisms. Therefore, regulations on personal data protection must be strengthened, content moderation responsibilities must be determined, and legal accountability mechanisms for business actors in the digital ta'aruf business must be made clear.

This study seeks to examine how the element of state financial loss is applied in corruption cases that originate from private-law relationships, specifically in the context of Micro People’s Business Credit (KUR) financing using the Yarnen Porang scheme, as reflected in Decision Number 41/Pid.Sus.TPK/PN.MTR. The central issue addressed is the manner in which the panel of judges construed and affirmed the existence of a state financial loss that, in substance, arose from a civil act, namely the performance of a financing cooperation agreement between a banking institution and an offtaker. By employing a normative juridical approach and conducting an in-depth analysis of the judicial decision, this research concludes that the alleged state financial loss in the a quo case remains merely prospective in nature and does not satisfy the requirement of an actual and definite loss as mandated by positive law. Furthermore, evidence demonstrating that the financing funds were enjoyed by a third party rather than by the accused indicates a misapplication in attributing criminal liability. Consequently, the criminal prosecution of conduct that is essentially civil in character reflects an expansive interpretation of the state loss element, which is inconsistent with the principle of legality and the doctrine of prudence in the enforcement of corruption laws.

In accordance with Article 25 paragraph (2) of the Law on Judicial Power, the general judiciary is one part of the judicial power that has the authority to examine, adjudicate, and issue decisions in criminal and civil cases in accordance with the applicable regulations. In civil trial proceedings at the district court, there are three stages: the preliminary stage, the determination stage, and the execution stage. In civil justice, there is an effort to resolve disputes outside of trial, namely mediation, and in administrative court proceedings, there is an effort to resolve disputes outside the court, namely administrative efforts. Mediation is an effort to resolve conflicts through deliberation with the assistance of a neutral third party, known as a mediator, to reach an agreement that can be accepted by both parties. This administrative effort is a resolution process carried out internally within an agency between the government and the party filing an objection to a state administrative decision before the dispute is brought to court. The purpose of this study is to understand the differences in non-litigation efforts between civil courts and state administrative courts. The research method is normative, using a statutory approach that emphasizes the analysis of regulations related to the main discussion of this study. In civil courts, mediation aims and focuses more on efficiency, which benefits both parties and, in turn, can reduce the burden on judges in resolving disputes in court. On the other hand, the purpose of administrative measures in state administrative cases is oriented towards internal government supervision, as a last resort, and rapid correction.

Social loans are an important tool for developing local economies, especially in remote areas such as rural areas. The Indonesian Village City Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSU) is one of the business entities that provides loan capital to its members. The purpose of this study is to determine the mechanism of social loan agreements in the Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) of the Indonesian Village City and to determine the perspective of Islamic Economic Law on loan agreements in the Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) of the Indonesian Village City. This research method uses a descriptive research type with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with the Management and members of the Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSU) of the Indonesian City Village. The results of the study show that first, the loan application procedure involves several steps such as becoming a member, filling out forms, completing documents and the approval stage. The maximum loan provision is 80% of the savings balance with a loan tenor of 12 months and 18 months. The payment system is made in installments through salary deductions and is subject to a 5% interest. For borrowing members who are late, there are no sanctions or fines but there is a time dispensation. Second, the loan application and management mechanism at the Multipurpose Cooperative has met sharia principles through transparent and structured governance, such as deductions from salary installments and a guarantee policy provided in the form of the amount of member savings balances. However, social loans at the Multipurpose Cooperative contain an element of benefit (profit) of 5%, which according to some scholars can be classified as usury because of the addition of value to the principal loan, even though the benefit is returned to members through the Business Result Remainder (SHU).

This study aims to analyze the comparison of small business development strategies in improving the income of traders in traditional markets around Medan City. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and documentation involving three traders of fruit, vegetables, and tomatoes. The results show that each trader applies different strategies depending on the characteristics of their commodities and business capacity. Fruit and tomato traders tend to implement quality sorting, price adjustments, and trust-building through honest customer service. Meanwhile, the vegetable trader relies more on traditional approaches such as giving bonuses to customers. Market facilities significantly influence the effectiveness of business strategies, where traders with proper stalls are better able to maintain income stability compared to those using temporary tents in muddy and uncomfortable areas. Seasonal factors also strongly affect income fluctuation as they determine the quality and supply of commodities. This study concludes that small business development strategies in traditional markets are shaped not only by traders’ managerial abilities but also by market infrastructure conditions and external environmental factors. It is recommended that market managers improve market facilities to support the sustainability of small traders’ businesses.

Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam keberhasilan pendidikan, khususnya bagi santri di pondok pesantren yang menghadapi jadwal padat dan tuntutan akademik tinggi. Kajian ini mengusung tema “Belajar Mantap, Hidup Hebat” untuk menekankan bahwa pembelajaran yang konsisten dan berorientasi spiritual dapat mendorong keberhasilan baik dalam dimensi duniawi maupun ukhrawi. Motivasi dipahami melalui tiga ranah, yaitu intrinsik, ekstrinsik, dan religius, dengan dorongan agar santri mampu mengintegrasikan ketiganya sehingga motivasi belajar tidak hanya bersumber dari insentif eksternal, tetapi juga dari kesadaran diri dan niat yang tulus karena Allah SWT. Tantangan umum—seperti manajemen waktu, adaptasi dengan kehidupan kolektif, godaan teknologi, tekanan prestasi, serta masalah kesehatan fisik dan mental—dibahas bersama solusi praktis, termasuk penggunaan teknik Pomodoro sebagai strategi manajemen waktu yang efektif. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya keseimbangan antara usaha, doa, dan istiqamah dalam menuntut ilmu, dengan tujuan memberdayakan santri agar mampu mempertahankan motivasi, mengatasi hambatan, serta mempersiapkan diri menjadi pribadi yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.

Perjanjian kredit antara lembaga perbankan dan pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) merupakan instrumen penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi. Namun, dalam praktiknya, tidak jarang terjadi wanprestasi dari pihak debitur  yang  berdampak  pada  hubungan  hukum  dan keberlangsungan  usaha.  Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk mengkaji: 1) bagaimana proses pengajuan dan pelaksanaan perjanjian kredit antara Bank BRI dan UMKM Konveksi Parasit di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta; 2) apa saja faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya wanprestasi oleh debitur; dan 3) bagaimana mekanisme penyelesaian wanprestasi yang dilakukan oleh pihak bank. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan yuridis normatif yang didukung oleh data primer. Spesifikasi penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitis dengan jenis dan sumber data berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui studi pustaka, serta data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pihak terkait. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif untuk menginterpretasikan norma hukum dan fakta empiris secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) proses pengajuan kredit dilakukan melalui prosedur formal dengan dokumen pendukung yang sah, dan dituangkan dalam Surat Pengakuan Hutang; 2) wanprestasi terjadi karena kombinasi faktor internal seperti pengelolaan usaha yang kurang optimal dan faktor eksternal seperti penurunan permintaan pasar; dan 3) penyelesaian wanprestasi dilakukan melalui eksekusi agunan, pelaporan ke otoritas keuangan, serta pendekatan persuasif seperti restrukturisasi kredit. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya edukasi hukum bagi pelaku UMKM dan penerapan prinsip keadilan dalam penyelesaian sengketa kredit.

This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) on improving financial inclusion among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in North Toraja Regency. The research is motivated by the rapid development of digital payment systems, which have not been optimally adopted by MSMEs in tourism areas. QRIS, as a non-cash payment innovation, is expected to expand access tofinancial services, enhance transaction efficiency, and encourage MSMEs’ participation in the formal financial system. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 35 handicraft MSMEs in the Ke’te Kesu’ tourism area, selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed with SPSS version 25 through validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression. The results indicate that QRIS usage has a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.758 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.575. The t-test shows a significance value of < 0.05. These findings support the Financial Deepening theory and the financial inclusion concept, which emphasize access, affordability, and usage of financial services. Thus, QRIS serves as an important instrument in promoting digital transformation and enhancing financial inclusion among MSMEs in North Toraja Regency.

This study aims to understand behavioral considerations in decision-making regarding business equipment procurement at UMKM Sido Maju Marsudi. This research applies a qualitative method with a case study approach. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the business owner. The findings reveal that equipment procurement decisions are not solely influenced by economic rationality but also by behavioral factors such as intuition, experience, and social values. The business owner balances financial benefits with non-financial satisfaction, including customer trust, product quality, and maintaining the traditional identity of “roti kering jadul.” The decision-making process is simple, experience-based, and guided by social recommendations, reflecting bounded rationality. Evaluations are carried out informally by observing production outcomes and customer feedback. This study concludes that behavioral and experiential aspects play a crucial role in shaping adaptive and sustainable business decisions among micro and small enterprises

This study aims to analyze the production process, marketing strategies, and environmental impacts of sugarcane brown sugar agroindustry at the household scale, using the Haeruddin enterprise located in Latellang Village, Patimpeng District, Bone Regency as a case study. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results show that the enterprise manages approximately 50 hectares of sugarcane land with productivity ranging from 30–60 tons per hectare, which is below the national average. The production capacity reaches 1–2 tons of sugarcane per day, producing approximately 1 ton of brown sugar daily, and involves local labor in cultivation and processing activities. Marketing is conducted through direct sales and local distributors, with prices ranging from IDR 8,000–10,000 per kilogram, without the use of digital promotion or modern retail channels. From an environmental perspective, the production process generates solid, liquid, and gaseous waste; however, solid waste in the form of bagasse is reused as fuel, while liquid waste and combustion residues are only partially managed. These findings indicate that while the enterprise contributes to employment and the local rural economy, improvements in production efficiency, marketing strategies, and environmental management are required to enhance competitiveness and sustainability. This study provides practical insights for the development of sustainable household-scale sugarcane brown sugar agroindustries in rural areas.

The high-value horticulture sector has gained increasing attention in modern agricultural development, particularly in the cultivation of premium melon through greenhouse and fertigation systems. The Satria Tani Hanggawana Cooperative has initiated premium melon farming to enhance members’ income; however, investment decisions in high-value commodities require a comprehensive financial feasibility assessment to ensure business sustainability. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of premium melon farming by examining production costs, revenue, income, and financial efficiency indicators. Using a descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approaches, the research was conducted through direct observation and interviews in two active greenhouses. The results show that the total production cost for one planting season reached Rp20,413,750, dominated by variable costs, reflecting the intensive input requirement to maintain product quality. The total revenue of Rp33,950,000 generated a net income of Rp13,536,250, indicating that the enterprise is financially profitable. The R/C Ratio of 1.67 confirms that the business operates efficiently, while the B/C Ratio of 0.67 indicates that net benefits remain below total costs due to reduced production caused by pest disturbances. The break-even analysis further shows that actual production far exceeded the minimum threshold required to avoid losses. Overall, the findings demonstrate that premium melon farming is financially viable, yet improvements in cost management, production monitoring, and greenhouse operational efficiency are essential to enhance profitability and long-term sustainability for the cooperative.

In Indonesia, copyright infringement in the music sector continues to be a significant issue, particularly when musical works are commercially exploited by businesses. This study examines the accountability of businesses towards music royalty payments through a case study of Mie Gacoan and the Collective Management Institute (LMK) SELMI. The research method used is normative juridical with additional research data collected through literature review, including related regulations and various previous studies on music copyright protection. The results of the study confirm that businesses are obliged to pay royalties for the use of copyrighted works, as stipulated in Law Number 28 of 2014 and Government Regulation Number 56 of 2021 concerning Song/Music Royalty Management. The dispute between Mie Gacoan and LMK SELMI demonstrates the weak awareness of businesses regarding legal obligations and highlights the importance of the LMK's role in ensuring the fulfillment of creators' economic rights. This study emphasizes that legal certainty, the level of public awareness of the law, and consistency in law enforcement are important factors in realizing copyright protection in Indonesia.

Licensing gave the insurance company right to conduct its business activity, insurance company need to comply with provisions, one of the provision is corporate financial health. Failure to comply with the provisions will result in sanction in the form of company dissolution and liquidation. Shareholder conduct General Meeting of Shareholder (RUPS) to determine liquidation team. The company assets were blocked and seized by the state due to connection with other criminal cases. Failure in payment caused by the seizure made policy holder conduct litigation and non-litigation effort. This study aim to know and analyse the provisions regulation and supervision of the liquidation process that conducted by the company which license had been provoked. The second objectives are to know and analyse the impact to policy holders caused by the liquidation of  PT Ausransi Jiwa Adisarana Wanaartha which had its business license revoked. The methodology that had been used in this study is normative legal research with approach based on legal principal, approach based on systemic approach to law, and approach based on synchronization to law. The result of this study is the legal basic regarding liquidation had not regulated adequately. Policyholders as the party that got the impact of the liquidation will be placed in a disadvantage condition due to the small return of payment from company asset, especially when insurance fund is not sufficient to cover all the obligated payment to policyholders.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the income levels of pineapple farmers in Siabal-Abal V Village, Sipahutar Subdistrict, North Tapanuli Regency. The research focuses on several key variables, namely land size, production quantity, production tools, and farming experience, which are presumed to be associated with farmers’ income. A quantitative research approach was employed, using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the simultaneous and partial effects of each variable on the income of pineapple farmers. The population of this study comprised all pineapple farmers in Siabal-Abal V Village, with a sample of 65 respondents selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and structured questionnaires designed in accordance with the research objectives. The results of the data analysis indicate that, simultaneously, land size, production quantity, production tools, and farming experience have a significant effect on the income of pineapple farmers. However, the partial test results reveal that only land size has a positive and significant effect on farmers’ income. Meanwhile, production quantity, production tools, and farming experience do not show a statistically significant influence. These findings indicate that land size is the dominant factor in determining the income level of pineapple farmers in the study area. Therefore, improving access to agricultural land or optimizing the utilization of existing land is an important strategy for increasing the income of pineapple farmers in Siabal-Abal V Village.

This community service program aims to strengthen institutional capacity and develop the business units of the Padangan Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) through enhanced managerial capabilities, business innovation, and enhanced digital marketing strategies tailored to local potential and needs. The program was implemented using a participatory empowerment approach involving various stakeholders, including the village government and local economic actors. The methods used included needs assessment, management and entrepreneurship training, intensive mentoring, and collaborative business planning. The program's results demonstrated significant improvements in BUMDes organizational governance, administrative professionalism, and a more organized and accountable financial reporting system. Furthermore, business unit diversification, local product quality improvement, and community capacity to utilize digital technology for marketing activities increased. The program also provided academic contributions in the form of empirical data and an applicable model of village empowerment based on Islamic economics. Overall, empowerment based on participation and Islamic economic values ​​has been proven to promote sustainable village economic resilience and independence.
