Using smartphones in interpersonal communication among adolescents is now commonplace. Many teenagers who follow the flow of communication media in technology choose smartphones as a more effective interpersonal communication medium. Compared to other forms of communication, interpersonal communication occurs personally, in face-to-face situations, and through media. Interpersonal communication is fundamental since it permits it to require place dialogic communication. Exchange may be a shape of interpersonal communication that appears in the event of interaction. Those included in this communication frame are double-functioning, each being the speaker and the audience, on the other hand. This report analyzes adolescents’ interpersonal communication culture in the smartphone-use era based on this statement. The method used is the phenomenological method. The conclusion of this study indicates that the current adolescent interpersonal communication culture is more influenced by digital technology than direct interaction. Therefore, efforts are needed to foster awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy quality of interpersonal communication amid technological advances.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Drops app in improving Japanese vocabulary acquisition among beginners. Based on the theory of cognitivism, the study used a descriptive qualitative method with a sample of 21 subjects who answered 11 questions through a Google Form survey. Results showed that the use of Drops significantly increased the average vocabulary score by 43 % (from 28.5 to 40.7), which was influenced by the integration of gamification features and spaced repetition mechanism in the application. The majority of respondents (76 %) reported high satisfaction with ease of use, learning motivation, and effectiveness of visual illustrations, consistent with previous research on audiovisual and gamification-based mobile apps. However, about 24 % of respondents recorded medium to low scores on motivational aspects and interface appearance, indicating the need for UX/UI enhancements to expand adoption. Demographic statistics revealed the average age of respondents to be 18.38 years (Q1=17; median=18; Q3=20), confirming that teenagers and pre-adults are the main group of Drops users. The findings provide recommendations for both language education practitioners and app developers to optimize design and features to maximize vocabulary learning effectiveness.

In this study, teenage social media users in Bukittinggi are asked to examine the connection between social anxiety and husnudzon, or optimistic thinking. Purposive sampling was used to choose 114 teenagers, ages 15 to 19, who then took part in survey design. Positive thinking and social anxiety levels were assessed using standardized questionnaires, the Husnudzon Scale and the Social Anxiety Scale for Adolescents, respectively. Product moment analysis was used in the data analysis. Higher levels of positive thinking are linked to lower levels of social anxiety, according to the research, which showed a substantial negative association between husnudzon and social anxiety. Husnudzon's role as a strong predictor of social anxiety was further validated by multiple regression analysis, which also helped to explain a large variation in the participants' social anxiety levels.

Effective church service is rooted in spiritual education from an early age, especially through Sunday School. II Timothy 3:15–17 emphasises the role of Scripture in shaping character and readiness for every good deed. This study aims to examine the effect of the Sunday School curriculum based on this verse on the interest of the congregation in serving the Jakarta Baptist Citra Indah City Jonggol Church. The interest in service itself is an internal drive that encourages a person's active involvement in service activities in response to God's calling. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to local churches in designing relevant and applicable spiritual curricula, as well as being able to foster a generation of ministers who are militant, loving, and ready to carry out their roles in the church and society.

Madura, an island in East Java, is known for its rich cultural heritage. Despite this, prevailing stereotypes in society often emphasize negative aspects of Madurese culture, which can obscure its valuable and positive traditions. One such cultural gem is Daul music—a vibrant and rhythmic musical expression that deserves greater public appreciation. This study explores the design and development of a digital comic titled “The Sparkle of Madura’s Daul”, which aims to introduce Daul music to a younger audience, particularly teenagers aged 18–22, through the Webtoon platform. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, the research gathered data through observation, questionnaires, and interviews to inform the design process. The comic is created not only as an engaging entertainment medium but also as a tool for cultural education and preservation. By integrating narrative and visual storytelling, the comic presents Daul music in a compelling and accessible format, positioning it as a cultural asset comparable to the well-known Karapan Sapi. The final product is intended to reshape perceptions of Madurese identity, promote cultural pride, and encourage the appreciation of traditional music among youth. Free association is one of the major challenges faced by teenagers today. Changes in the era and technological advances have made the boundaries of social norms increasingly blurred. Many teenagers are trapped in a free lifestyle due to lack of supervision from parents, peer influence, and uncontrolled use of social media. This has an impact on declining academic achievement, even causing them to drop out of school. In conditions like this, the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers is greatly needed. BK teachers are expected to be able to provide individual and group counseling services, deliver material on moral and ethical values, and work together with parents in guiding students. With the right approach from various parties, teenagers are expected to be able to protect themselves from the bad influence of association and grow into responsible and characterful individuals.
