The purpose of this research is to analyze Indonesian retail investors' perceptions of ESG implementation post the latest regulations, their experiences in detecting greenwashing, and the factors influencing these aspects. The research employed a qualitative approach using online data such as sustainability reports, news, surveys, and forums. The results indicate that retail investors' understanding of ESG varies, with a relatively low level of trust in corporate claims due to concerns about greenwashing. They rely on diverse information sources and use subjective ESG assessment criteria. Investors' experiences in identifying potential greenwashing are marked by the discovery of inconsistent information and suspicion towards specific indicators; however, actions taken vary and are often hindered by limitations. These perceptions and experiences are influenced by investor characteristics, the quality of information sources, regulatory effectiveness, corporate communication practices, and social and media influence. This research concludes the necessity for enhanced ESG literacy, reporting standardization, stricter oversight, and transparent communication to build trust and promote sustainable investment in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze and explore more deeply the concept of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) by examining the role of electronic service quality, with trust as an exogenous variable and electronic satisfaction as a mediating variable. The phenomenon of consumer behavior in the context of e-commerce continues to grow in line with the rapid increase in internet users. In Indonesia, internet users are projected to reach 72.8 million people, making the country the third-largest in internet penetration among ASEAN nations. This surge in internet usage has significantly influenced online shopping behavior, especially among digital-savvy consumers. However, this trend contrasts sharply with the declining performance of offline retail, as shopping centers are witnessing a drop in consumer visits. This decline is largely driven by three major factors: (1) shifting consumer preferences, (2) decreasing employment in physical retail sectors, and (3) a rapid rise in the number of online stores. The research utilizes primary data, collected from respondents who have made online purchases from two major marketplaces in Indonesia—Tokopedia and Lazada. The data were analyzed using the Smart PLS software to test the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that electronic service quality has a positive and significant effect on eWOM when mediated by trust. However, the direct effects of service quality and satisfaction on eWOM were found to be statistically insignificant. The findings suggest that building customer trust through enhanced service quality is a strategic priority for e-commerce platforms aiming to encourage consumers to share positive online recommendations.

This study examines the relationship between corporate financial disclosure and investment decisions by shareholders and investors in capital markets. Using a comprehensive dataset of 486 publicly listed companies from multiple stock exchanges over a five-year period (2018-2022), we investigate how the quality, scope, and timing of financial disclosures influence investment behaviors, pricing efficiency, and capital allocation. Through multiple regression analysis, structural equation modeling, and panel data techniques, we find that higher disclosure quality is significantly associated with increased trading volumes (β=0.42, p<0.01), lower bid-ask spreads (β=-0.38, p<0.01), and reduced stock price volatility (β=-0.31, p<0.01). Our analysis reveals that voluntary disclosures beyond regulatory requirements have a stronger impact on institutional investor decisions compared to retail investors. Additionally, the study documents that forward-looking financial information and segment reporting have particularly strong effects on investment decisions during periods of market uncertainty. The findings contribute to disclosure theory and provide empirical evidence for regulators considering disclosure policy reforms, corporate executives formulating communication strategies, and investors developing investment frameworks that incorporate disclosure quality assessment. The study addresses the causality challenge through instrumental variable estimation and difference-in-differences analysis of regulatory changes, enhancing the robustness of the identified relationships.

This study aims to analyze the significance of the influence of price, location, and store atmosphere on customer purchasing decisions at Harno Surya stores. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing primary data as the main source of information. The study population consisted of customers who had shopped at Harno Surya stores, although the exact number was unknown. A sample of 176 respondents was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods included questionnaires, literature review, and observation. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination test. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis produced the equation: Y = 0.534 + 0.181X₁ + 0.426X₂ + 0.329X₃, indicating that price (X₁), location (X₂), and store atmosphere (X₃) all contribute positively to purchasing decisions (Y). The t-test results demonstrated that each independent variable had a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the F-test results showed an F-value of 157.276 with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05), confirming that the regression model is appropriate for predicting the impact of price, location, and store atmosphere on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.728, suggesting that 72.8% of purchasing decisions were influenced by the three independent variables, while the remaining 27.2% was influenced by other factors not included in this study. These findings highlight the importance of price, location, and store atmosphere in shaping consumer purchasing decisions, offering valuable insights for retailers seeking to enhance their marketing strategies and store management.
