Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, but only 15.7% have successfully penetrated the global market due to limited human resources (HR) and cross-sector collaboration (BPS, 2023). This study aims to analyse the role of collaborative HR initiatives in opening global market access for MSMEs in East Java, using a quantitative approach with AMOS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) on a sample of 150 MSMEs. The results of the analysis show that HR collaboration across sectors (government, private sector, academia) has a significant effect on improving global market access , while self-training is not significant. The findings strengthen the Resource-Based View theory by emphasising collaborative HR as a strategic asset of MSMEs. Practical implications include integrated policy recommendations and partnerships with global platforms (e.g., Amazon, Alibaba), as well as ethical considerations related to programme inclusivity and MSME data protection. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the development of an adaptive HR collaboration model for MSMEs in developing countries.

Cervical cancer is a deadly disease and ranks as the fourth most common cancer among women, according to the World Health Organization. In Indonesia, it is the second most prevalent cancer affecting women. Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an early screening method to detect cervical cancer, yet its coverage remains low in several areas of East Java. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior among women of reproductive age in the working area of Kowel Public Health Center. The study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 70 respondents were selected using accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires assessing both knowledge and VIA screening behavior. Data analysis was conducted using the chi-square test. The results showed that 38 respondents had good knowledge, while 32 had poor knowledge. The chi-square test yielded a p-value of 0.494 (p > 0.05) and a prevalence ratio (PR) of 1.684. These results indicate no significant relationship between knowledge and VIA screening behavior. However, respondents with good knowledge were 1.684 times more likely to undergo VIA screening than those with poor knowledge. It is recommended that the Kowel Health Center enhance its educational efforts through more engaging and creative counseling methods using media tools such as brochures, leaflets, posters, and animated videos, delivered both directly and via social media, to attract public interest.

This study aims to analyze and visualize the distribution of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia throughout 2020 with a spatial-based quantitative approach. The data used was obtained from the official report of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia as of December 30, 2020, including the number of confirmed cases, recovered, and died. The analysis was carried out by integrating clustering methods and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using Quantum GIS (QGIS) software. The visualization results show significant spatial variations between provinces, where provinces with high population density such as DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java, and Central Java are recorded as areas with the highest caseload. In addition, areas with limited health facilities also show a high potential risk of transmission and death. Cluster patterns of positive and cured cases generally show similarities, while mortality rates show spatial inequalities that are important to look at. These findings emphasize the importance of spatial data integration in area-based policy planning for pandemic control. Spatial visualization not only facilitates understanding of distribution patterns, but also supports more effective and targeted decision-making.

In the last ten years, Indonesia has been carrying out massive infrastructure development. The goal is to facilitate community mobility which has an impact on economic growth. Infrastructure development also aims to increase the Human Development Index even though it does not directly affect it. One of the provinces that contributed to infrastructure development was East Java, with the Human Development Index during the 2018-2022 period increasing and tending to stagnate. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to identify the influence of infrastructure development on the Human Development Index, including identifying the influence of poverty on the Human Development Index. The research methodology used is quantitative with  a Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWPR) approach that allows to comprehensively identify the Regional Development Index in East Java. The results obtained were that the variables of Infrastructure Development with the dimensions of Road Length (6,172) and Number of Schools (2,686) had an impact on the Human Development Index in East Java. Meanwhile, the poverty variable (-6,139) has no effect on the Human Development Index (HDI). However, simultaneously the variables of Infrastructure Development and Poverty affect the National Development Index (HDI) with a calculation of 64.42 > 2.4202.

The East Java Provincial Government established the East Java Super Corridor (EJSC) in five regions, including Bojonegoro Regency, to provide coworking spaces for the public. EJSC Bakorwil Bojonegoro is the only coworking space in the area, making it essential to offer high-quality services. This study aims to describe the service quality of the coworking space at EJSC Bakorwil Bojonegoro using a descriptive qualitative method. This research focuses on the five service quality indicators proposed by Kotler and Keller (2016): reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies, with data analysis involving collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the service quality of the coworking space at EJSC Bakorwil Bojonegoro is generally satisfactory. Reliability is reflected in the provision of free facilities that support user productivity. However, responsiveness still faces challenges in terms of timely responses to complaints and the flexibility of operating hours. Assurance has been established through effective communication, although staff professionalism needs improvement. Empathy is demonstrated through warm and responsive interactions between management and users. Tangibles indicate that the available facilities are adequate, but some shortcomings remain, such as limited parking space and suboptimal workspace arrangement.

This study aims to describe and analyze: the role of PAD and DAU as a source of revenue in APBD financing in East Java Province and how the East Java Provincial Regional Government efforts to increase PAD through Regional Original Tax. The data analysis technique uses the technique developed by McNabb (2002), namely Grouping the data according to key constructs, Identifying bases for interpretation, Developing generalizations from the data, Testing Alternative interpretations and Forming and/or refining generalizable theory from case study. The results of the study show that the Role of Regional Original Revenue in the Regional Budget in the East Java Provincial Government is very high. The dependence of the East Java Provincial Government on the Central Government is relatively low. This is evidenced by the magnitude of the PAD value to the APBD around 72%. DAU's contribution to the APBD is quite high, in 2024 it will reach 82%. This indicates that the local government of the East Java Provincial Government uses DAU more than PAD for Regional Expenditure. This means that there is fiscal dependence on the central government and provincial governments. In general, the policy of increasing Regional Original Revenue from the Tax sector carried out by the East Java Provincial Government includes Synergy between the Provincial Government and Regency/City Government, Innovation in tax payment services, Re-data collection of taxpayers, Cooperation with the private sector and NGOs, Improvement of tax management management. The East Java Provincial Government together with the Regional Governments of Regencies/Cities throughout East Java collaborate in the synergy of regional tax collection and regional tax options. The goal is to create effective regional financial management by prioritizing synergy in optimizing the increase in Regional Original Revenue (PAD: Pendapatan Asli Daerah) to encourage fiscal independence in the regions.
