Distribution transformers play a critical role in delivering electrical energy from medium-voltage networks to low-voltage consumers. At ULP Medan Kota, several distribution transformers have been operating with loads exceeding 80% of their nominal capacity, posing risks of overloading, efficiency reduction, and equipment failure. This study aims to analyze the performance of distribution transformers based on actual load data and evaluate mitigation strategies through the implementation of additional parallel transformers (trafo sisip). The methodology includes data collection, load and current calculation, and simulation of load distribution after transformer insertion. The results show that the installation of trafo sisip reduces the load on the main transformer by approximately 50% and significantly lowers the current to safer levels. Moreover, placing the trafo sisip at an optimal position minimizes voltage drop to as low as 0.0745 Volts. Therefore, the addition of trafo sisip is proven to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and operational life of the power distribution system at ULP Medan Kota.

Distribution transformers play a crucial role in delivering electrical energy from the distribution system to consumers to ensure power quality and supply continuity. However, in practice, overload conditions often occur due to increasing demand and load growth that exceed the transformer’s rated capacity. This situation can lead to reduced efficiency, increased power losses, and accelerated equipment aging. This study aims to analyze the performance of the CMY distribution transformer at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Labuan, which operates beyond its nominal capacity, and to propose an alternative solution through transformer mutation, namely the replacement of the existing unit with a transformer of more appropriate capacity based on load analysis results. The Least Square Method is employed to predict future load growth and determine the projected time when the transformer will again experience overload after the mutation. The results indicate that the existing 100 kVA transformer is overloaded and should be replaced with a 160 kVA unit. After the mutation, the loading percentage decreases significantly, the transformer’s lifespan is extended, and the reliability of the distribution system improves. Furthermore, the Least Square prediction suggests that the new transformer may experience overload again in future years if no further planning is carried out. Therefore, transformer mutation can be considered an effective and medium-term solution to enhance and maintain the reliability of the electrical distribution system within the operational area of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Labuan.

This literature review synthesizes a wide range of research findings that examine the role of auxin distribution direction in regulating leaf primordium patterning, known as phyllotaxis, in Arabidopsis thaliana. The reviewed studies consistently indicate that phyllotaxis represents a highly coordinated growth regulation mechanism that is primarily governed by Polar Auxin Transport (PAT), which is mediated by Pin-Formed (PIN) auxin efflux proteins. The polarity and spatial localization of PIN proteins generate dynamic auxin gradients within the shoot apical meristem, and these gradients function as key positional signals that determine the precise sites where new leaf primordia are initiated. Furthermore, auxin distribution is not regulated solely by PAT but is tightly integrated with genetic, cellular, and mechanical cues. Several studies highlight the role of transcription factors such as TMO5 in influencing PIN1 convergence and reinforcing auxin maxima at primordium initiation sites. In addition, the interaction between PIN polarity and the orientation of cortical microtubules suggests that mechanical stress and cytoskeletal organization contribute to the stability and directionality of auxin flow. Comparative analysis of the literature demonstrates that PAT and PIN proteins operate through interconnected mechanisms to control auxin distribution direction, which ultimately shapes the spatial arrangement and regularity of leaf primordium patterns. Overall, this review emphasizes the complexity and integration of hormonal, genetic, and mechanical signals in controlling phyllotaxis in plants.

This study discusses the position of women in the creation of humankind based on Amina Wadud's feminist hermeneutics perspective as an effort to critique classical interpretations of the Qur'an that tend to be gender biased. For centuries, the tradition of interpretation dominated by male exegetes has shaped a theological understanding that places women in a subordinate and inferior position, especially in the narrative of human creation. Amina Wadud, as one of the contemporary Muslim feminists, offers a feminist hermeneutics approach that emphasizes the importance of historical context, linguistic analysis, and women's experiences in understanding the Qur'anic text in a more fair and comprehensive manner. This study specifically examines Wadud's interpretation of QS. An-Nisa 'verse 1, which states that humans were created from nafsun wahidah (one soul). Wadud asserts that this concept indicates the equality of origin between men and women, thereby rejecting the patriarchal view that women were created from men's ribs as second-class beings. The research method used was qualitative with a literature study approach, through analysis of Amina Wadud's works and relevant academic literature. The results of the study show that Wadud's feminist hermeneutics not only serves as a critique of classical interpretations that are laden with patriarchal bias, but also provides a strong theological basis for the recognition of gender equality in Islam. This approach opens up space for women to play an equal role in the social, political, and religious spheres. Thus, Amina Wadud's thinking contributes significantly to building a more inclusive, egalitarian, and gender-equitable understanding of Islam in accordance with the universal values of the Qur'an.

This study elaborates on the concept of humanism in Islamic educational philosophy by highlighting in greater depth the role of humans as caliphs on earth. Humanism from an Islamic perspective not only focuses on humans as rational beings but also emphasizes the moral, spiritual, and social responsibilities inherent in the mandate of the caliphate. This study applies a qualitative approach with a literature study, where data is obtained from various written sources such as scientific articles and academic publications that discuss humanism in Islamic education and the concept of the human caliphate. The data collection process is carried out through searching, selecting, and organizing literature relevant to the focus of the study. The collected data are then analyzed using descriptive-qualitative techniques through the stages of simplifying information, grouping findings, and formulating systematic conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the position of humans as caliphs requires the development of intellectual, ethical, and spiritual potential in an integrated manner in the educational process. Therefore, Islamic education needs to be directed towards a holistic humanization process, which not only strengthens reasoning and social character but also fosters a transcendental awareness of human relationships with God, fellow humans, and nature. Thus, humanism in Islamic education is not secular, liberal, or anthropocentric, but is firmly rooted in divine values that harmoniously unite the divine and human dimensions.

Human personality is diverse and influences the way people act, think, and interact in daily life. These differences also appear in literature, especially in drama, where characters reveal their traits through dialogue, actions, and conflicts. This study aims to analyze the personality of Othello in William Shakespeare’s Othello using the Big Five Personality Traits (OCEAN). This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data taken from selected dialogues and monologues that reflect Othello’s personality. The data were categorized into five dimensions: Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism. The findings show that Neuroticism (30.77%) is the most dominant trait in Othello’s character, followed by Extraversion (23.08%), Agreeableness (15.38%), Conscientiousness (15.38%), and Openness (15.38%). These traits influence his decisions, relationships, and eventual downfall, indicating that emotional instability and insecurity play a crucial role in the tragic development of the play. This study demonstrates how universal personality traits shape human behavior and conflict in Shakespeare’s drama and shows that modern psychological frameworks can be effectively applied to classical literature.

Acne vulgaris (AV) is a common dermatological condition affecting adolescents and young adults, with multifactorial causes including hormonal influences, increased follicular keratinization, excessive sebum production, and colonization by Cutibacterium acnes. External factors, particularly skincare behavior, are also considered to play an important role. The use of skincare products that are unsuitable for skin type or contain comedogenic ingredients such as mineral oil, lanolin, and certain silicones may clog pores and exacerbate acne. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between skincare product selection and usage behavior, types of skincare products used, and frequency of use with the occurrence of acne vulgaris among female medical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, cohorts 2022–2024. An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained from the student directory. A total of 90 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-square test. The results showed a significant association between skincare product selection and usage behavior and the occurrence of acne vulgaris (p = 0.043), as well as between the type of skincare products used and acne incidence (p < 0.001). However, no significant relationship was found between the frequency of skincare product use and acne vulgaris (p = 0.116). Drug abuse in Indonesia is a form of social deviance influenced by psychological pressure, structural conditions, and weak social ties. This phenomenon is not only related to legal aspects but also arises as a response to stress, anxiety, and negative emotional experiences. Theories such as self-medication, escapism, Durkheim and Merton's Anomie, and Agnew's General Strain Theory suggest that drug abuse behavior can develop due to imbalanced norms, social tension, and an individual's inability to cope with life's pressures. In inmates, these factors are exacerbated by challenging social and economic experiences prior to their incarceration, increasing the risk of involvement in drug use and trafficking. This study emphasizes the need for a multidimensional approach to understanding this deviance and supporting rehabilitation and social reintegration efforts. Strengthening the roles of families, communities, and educational institutions in preventing drug abuse is crucial for providing ongoing support. A deeper understanding of the patterns of individual involvement in drug abuse is key to designing more effective prevention programs, based on psychological, social, and structural approaches to reduce the long-term impact of drug abuse on society.
