Profession etymologically comes from the word profession (English) which comes from the Latin profess which means "capable or expert in work". A profession can be interpreted as a job or position that requires skills obtained through certain education and training according to special requirements, have certain responsibilities and codes of ethics. Teachers can be said to be a profession because not everyone can become a teacher, becoming a teacher must also go through formal education and training, and have a certain code of ethics. This research aims to understand more deeply the concept of teachers as a profession. The method used in this study uses qualitative research methods, in the form of literature studies. This study investigates the factors influencing the utilization of adolescent health services among school dropout adolescents in the Sakra subdistrict of East Lombok, Indonesia. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative data from structured questionnaires with qualitative insights gathered through in-depth interviews. A total of 37 school dropout adolescents, aged 14-19 years, were purposively sampled to participate in the study. The findings from this study underscore the multifaceted factors influencing school dropout adolescents' access to health services in the Sakra subdistrict of East Lombok regency. The six predictors highlighted the importance of knowledge, family support, distance, the role of health professionals, and the recognition of health needs in shaping adolescents' engagement with health services. Addressing these interconnected factors through a comprehensive approach can promote health equity and improve the overall well-being of school dropout adolescents, contributing to healthier communities in the long run.

This research aims to analyze the personality competencies of teachers in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection is carried out through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The research results show that teachers at the Sulaymaniah Blang Bintang Islamic Boarding School have good personality competencies, which are reflected in their attitudes, values ​​and behavior. A positive attitude, integrity and teacher example are important elements in creating a conducive learning environment. Apart from that, the teacher's ability to communicate and manage emotions also contributes to harmonious interactions with students. This research confirms that teacher personality competencies not only influence the quality of teaching, but also play an important role in forming the character of students, so it is important for educational institutions to continue to support the development of these competencies through training and professional development programs.

In the era of globalisation and rapid technological development, developing the competencies of teachers and education staff is key to improving the quality of education. This article discusses various strategies for competency development in education human resource management (HRM), with a focus on teachers and education staff. Adopting an evidence-based approach identifies effective methods for training and professional development, including the utilisation of technology, online courses, and experiential learning. In addition, it explores the critical role of constructive feedback and continuous evaluation in the competency development process. The research underscores the importance of integration between HRM theory and daily educational practice to achieve optimal results. The results of this article are expected to provide practical guidance for educational institutions in designing effective development programmes to improve teacher and staff performance and advance the education system as a whole.

Halal certification through the self-declaration scheme is a system designed with the aim of making it easier for micro and small businesses to receive halal certificates for the products they design. Not only makes it easier to receive halal certification but also conveys good benefits for the benefit of humanity, especially for Muslims. This system is designed to increase the number of halal-certified MSE products, thereby increasing consumer confidence and opening up opportunities for sales of halal products and competitiveness. The advantage of the halal certification application process using the self-declaration method means that the issuance of certificates is faster than using submissions through the regular mechanism. The halal certification method through self-declaration comes into effect from 2021. The original purpose of this research is to increase knowledge, enlightenment and regulatory compliance in micro-business actors in order to achieve optimization of halal certification in Bangkalan Regency. This study uses a qualitative narrative research method using a phenomenological approach in this study, the reality that exists can be understood as something that arises in the enlightenment of researchers through certain approaches and explanations, which mention how the process becomes visible and real. This study shows that there is a lack of awareness of the importance of halal certification, micro and small business actors still lack information and understanding of the halal professional allowance, so that the application of the halal professional allowance is not optimal. the original results of this study are needed to convey an illustration of how the Regional Government needs to take part in overseeing the implementation of the BPJPH Law and provide protection to business actors.

This study examines the relationship between communication and auditor competency within Indonesia's public sector, focusing on its impact on audit quality and governance. The research addresses the challenges faced by public sector auditors, such as resource limitations and stakeholder expectations, which demand a balance between technical expertise and effective communication. The study was conducted in North Sumatra Province, involving 130 auditors affiliated with the Aparat Pengawasan Intern Pemerintah (APIP) network. A structured survey was used to collect data, focusing on auditors' communication skills, technical proficiency, and ethical judgment. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed for data analysis, allowing the evaluation of complex constructs like communication efficacy and competency. The findings reveal that effective communication positively impacts auditor competency, enhancing collaboration within teams, fostering stakeholder trust, and ensuring actionable outcomes from audits. The results underscore the necessity of refining communication strategies to address governance complexities and stakeholder demands. This study highlights the symbiotic relationship between communication and competency, providing actionable insights for improving audit processes in Indonesia's public sector. It offers a foundation for developing training programs and frameworks that align with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and modern technological advancements to elevate public accountability.

It is important to understand that students' academic achievement is not only influenced by their cognitive abilities, but also by non-cognitive factors such as social-emotional skills and learning styles. In an effort to improve the quality of education and facilitate the optimal development of students at SMA Negeri 3 Kejuruan Muda, it is hoped that the report on the results of the non-cognitive diagnostic assessment can be a strong foundation for SMA Negeri 3 Kejuruan Muda in developing holistic, adaptive, and student-centered learning strategies. Through a better understanding of the social-emotional aspects and learning styles, schools can create a learning environment that supports not only academic achievement, but also students' optimal personal and social development. Thus, this study aims to (1) Identify students' social-emotional abilities and areas that require further support. (2) Assess students' learning styles to adjust teaching methods to their preferences. (3) Provide recommendations based on assessment results to improve support and learning strategies in schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through a google form questionnaire distributed to all students of SMA Negeri 3 Kejuruan Muda. The results of the study showed that 10.5% of students had high social emotional abilities, 60.5% of their social emotional abilities were said to be sufficient, 27.8% needed improvement and 1.2% needed significant development by BK teachers or counselors. Meanwhile, the Learning Styles possessed by students at SMAN 3 Kejuruan Muda were 40% Visual learning style, 30% Auditory learning style and 30% Kinesthetic learning style. Furthermore, the recommended treatment recommendations for students with high levels of social emotional abilities are to become peer counselors, students who have moderate social emotional abilities can be guided by peer counselors and students who have low levels of social emotional abilities require guidance by BK teachers or professional counselors. Meanwhile, recommendations for visual learning styles can be presented with learning media in the form of images, videos or slides, auditory learning styles are presented with learning media in the form of audio recordings or listening to explanations from teachers and kinesthetic learning styles can be included in games, simulations, practicums, projects and demonstrating learning materials.

The MBKM internship program for IAIN Palangka Raya students at MIS Fathul Iman aims to enhance the educational experience and practical teaching skills. This qualitative descriptive study investigates teachers' responses about the internship's impact over four months. Through interviews, the research reveals that teachers perceive the program as beneficial for fostering collaboration, improving student engagement, and enhancing teaching methodologies. Teachers noted that the presence of interns helped alleviate their workload and introduced fresh perspectives in the classroom. Additionally, the program facilitated professional development for both interns and educators, creating a mutually beneficial learning environment. The findings suggest that the MBKM internship program is a valuable initiative that not only contributes to the personal growth of students but also strengthens the educational community. This study underscores the importance of practical training in teacher education and its positive influence on teaching effectiveness and student outcomes.

This research explores changes in personnel regulations that reflect the government's efforts to consistently boost the human resource capacity of state apparatus. Law No. 8/1974 emphasizes ideological loyalty and administrative requirements without a competency-based system. Law No. 43 of 1999 introduced the principle of merit and competency-based selection, although it is still constrained by supervision and technology. Significant reforms occurred in the State Civil Service Law with the implementation of comprehensive meritocratic principles using technology such as Computers Assisted Test (CAT), and supervision by independent institutions such as KASN and BKN. The results of the study indicate an increase in effectiveness in transparency, accountability, and professionalism of civil servants along with the development of regulations, although implementation challenges in the regions remain obstacles. This study recommends strengthening technological infrastructure, supervision, and ASN training to support sustainable bureaucratic reform.

The practice of nepotism in the employee selection process at Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) in North Sumatra, which has an impact on transparency, fairness and organizational effectiveness. BUMDs have an important role in regional economic development, but nepotism practices often damage the integrity of the recruitment process. Through a qualitative approach and case studies, this research reveals that nepotism creates inequality in employee selection, reduces the quality of human resources, and reduces public trust in BUMD. This article also identifies the factors that cause nepotism and offers solutions in the form of selection transparency, anti-nepotism policies, independent supervision, and outreach to build a culture of meritocracy in BUMD. By overcoming nepotism, BUMD is expected to be able to create a fair and professional recruitment system, thereby supporting the achievement of optimal performance.

The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) aims to improve teachers' competence in carrying out the learning process, which in turn has an impact on improving the quality of education. The purpose of the research is to find out how to evaluate the literacy and numeracy skills of teachers participating in the PPG Certain Teachers. This study uses a qualitative approach, namely evaluation research with a case study method that focuses on one phenomenon. The design models used in CIPPO evaluation are context, input, process, product, and outcome. The population is all informants, namely PPG managers, PPG Coordinators, Lecturers, Pamong Teachers and PPG participants of Certain Teachers totaling 569 people. Data collection by document study, interview guidelines and observation guidelines. Qualitative data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. In general, based on the graduation percentage of 99.3% declared to have passed UKPPPG and 0.7% did not pass UKPPPG, it can be concluded that the literacy and numeracy skills of teachers participating in certain PPG Teachers are very good and the PPG program at LPTK Malikussaleh University can continue.

Generation Z, born approximately between 1997 and 2012, grew up in a period characterized by advancements in digital technology, globalization, and unique social pressures. This article explores the dynamics of physical and mental health among Gen Z, focusing on the challenges and opportunities they face. Physically, a sedentary lifestyle driven by reliance on technology and changes in modern dietary patterns has increased the risk of obesity and metabolic disorders. On the other hand, growing awareness of the importance of exercise and healthy living paves the way for improvement. In the context of mental health, Gen Z experiences higher levels of anxiety, depression, and stress compared to previous generations, largely due to academic pressures, social expectations, and intense exposure to social media. However, the stigma surrounding mental health is gradually diminishing, with more individuals seeking professional help. This article also highlights the importance of a holistic approach, including the integration of digital health technologies and community-based programs, in supporting the well-being of this generation. With a deeper understanding, cross-sector efforts can be made to create an environment that better supports the physical and mental health of Gen Z.

This study aims to analyze the efficiency of the curriculum of Islamic universities in Indonesia in ensuring the readiness of students to enter the workforce, by reviewing the role of Islamic religious education in improving intellectual competence. Through a literature study approach, this study identifies the challenges and opportunities faced by Islamic universities in integrating religious values ​​with the intellectual and professional needs of students. The main focus of this study is the effectiveness of the curriculum in balancing theoretical aspects of religion and practical skills needed in the workplace. This study found that the curriculum of Islamic universities in Indonesia has attempted to adopt an integrative approach that combines religious education with the development of soft skills and hard skills that are relevant to professional careers. However, there are still some weaknesses in the implementation, such as the lack of curriculum adjustment to the dynamics of the labor market, as well as the imbalance between religious education and practical skills. The results of this study indicate that Islamic religious education has an important role in shaping the character and professional ethics of students, which are the main capital in entering the workforce. Therefore, increasing the efficiency of the curriculum through collaboration between academics, industry practitioners, and policy makers is needed to ensure that students' intellectuality is in accordance with the demands of the workplace. This study contributes to the academic discussion on the reform of Islamic higher education curriculum and emphasizes the importance of Islamic religious education in producing graduates who are not only intellectually competent, but also have strong ethical values ​​to face professional challenges. The implication of this study is the need for a more flexible and adaptive curriculum strategy to improve the competitiveness of Islamic higher education graduates in the global job market.

Kartika Jala Krida (KJK) in 2023 is one of the practical training courses for AAL Cadets Level III Corps, Seamanship, Engineering, Electronics and Supply. The KJK was implemented based on AAL Governor's Decree Number: Kep/87/VII/2024 dated 17 July 2024 concerning the AAL Cadet Education Implementation Program for the 2024/2025 Academic Year, and Instructions for implementing AAL Cadet Practical Training. KJK's shipping activities use the KRI Bima Suci with a shipping route of Surabaya – Jakarta – Singapore – Cambodia – Vietnam – China – South Korea – Russia – Japan – Philippines – Balikpapan and will return to Surabaya Base covering a distance of 10,715 Nm, departing Sunday 17 July 2024 from AAL and returning to AAL Wednesday 30 October 2024. The KJK 2024 practical training aims to provide knowledge and skills as initial preparation to become an Indonesian Navy officer as well as forming the character of marine soldiers. Apart from that, this exercise is a manifestation of the Indonesian Navy's diplomatic role in showing that the Indonesian nation is a maritime nation with a maritime perspective to the international world. The specific aim of the Kartika Jala Krida voyage is to train AAL cadets to carry out the Great Circle Astronomical Navigation Voyage and to practice all basic marine professional lessons in real conditions.

Very complex health problems require treatment involving all health professionals. The nutritional status of children is one of the important things to prepare a quality generation. Health education in the form of training is expected to change the competence of collaboration across healthcare professionals. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of training on health workers on knowledge about malnutrition and collaboration across professions. This study uses a Mix-Method approach with triangulation techniques using a questionnaire for qualitative stages by conducting a content analysis and on a quantitative stage using the research design method "Pre Experiment" with a research design using "one group pre and post-test design". Test for normality using Shapiro -Wilk. Statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test and paired T-test. The Results showing are analysis content informs that the training has been going well and is able to increase participants' knowledge. Statistical test results show that nutrition knowledge before training has a mean of 4.50 and after training has a mean of 4,467. This does not show an increase in average. The results of the statistical test, namely the test T-test showed p- value = 0.586 (p> 0.05) which means that there is no difference in mean knowledge about nutrition before and after treatment. As for knowledge about collaboration before training has a mean of 8.75 and after training has a mean of 10.67. This shows an increase in average. Statistical test results show p-value = 0.008 (p <0.05) which shows that there is a difference in mean knowledge about collaboration before the treatment in the module testing group. So, Cross-professional collaboration training in handling malnutrition affects changes in health worker knowledge. There are differences in changes in knowledge of malnutrition and collaboration across professions before and after training.

In the animation industry, the effectiveness of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design in image processing software is crucial for enhancing user comfort and productivity. This study aims to evaluate the UI/UX design in software belonging to the Adobe family, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. The employed methodology is Design Thinking, which includes the steps of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, to analyze each aspect of UI/UX design. Data were gathered through surveys and interviews with industry professionals to understand their experiences and perspectives. Preliminary results indicate that while Adobe applications are generally satisfactory, some software like After Effects and Illustrator require specific adjustments to the workspace menu to better meet user needs. These findings highlight areas needing improvement in image processing software to enhance user comfort and work efficiency. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more user-centered software, thereby improving user experience quality in the animation.
