war trauma and its relationship to women in regions of conflict are conceptualized by the confusion of identities between male and female identity, soldiering, and even immigration issues. The majority of combat literature has been written by men, but Sand Queen distinguishes apart because it emphasizes the viewpoint of the female character and author. The story of Kate develops to depict the gruesome details and complexities of the conflict. Her experience demonstrates that women face particular challenges throughout combat as well as in civilian life. In Sand Queen, the consequences of the war trauma can be seen in the characters' reactions throughout the dialogical narrative that recounts the terrible experiences of a female soldier.

The research method used is a survey research method using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The catharsis theory used in this research states that catharsis is a clearing of emotional conflict within oneself through talking about it and the deindividuation theory states that there is a feeling of loss of personal identity and the emergence of anonymity in the group. The anonymous feature on ask.fm social media provides opportunities for perpetrators to carry out cyberbullying on ask.fm. The sample in this study was 30 students, who had been victims and perpetrators of cyberbullying. Hypothesis testing shows Tcount ≥ Ttable (3.049 ≥ 1.660) so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so this means that these two variables have a significant influence. This research showed that teenagers dared to carry out attacks only through the social media ask.fm, with anonymous facilities that made it easy for the perpetrators to express all their frustration without their identities being known. And as victims, teenagers generally reject it by responding emotionally.

This qualitative research delves into the psychological demarcations within Amitav Ghosh’s “The Shadow Lines” by an intensive study of the characters’ intricate relationships with each other, creating a sense of internationalism. Set against the backdrop of the Indian subcontinent’s partition, the novel explores the artificial divisions of caste, nation, and identity, and their profound impacts on human relationships. This study examines both primary and secondary sources to dissect the intricate relationships among the characters, highlighting the devastating effects of psychological borders compared to physical ones. While geographical demarcations physically separate people, the psychological borders ingrained in individuals’ minds create deeper, more enduring divisions. This research underscores how these mental boundaries perpetuate alienation, contrasting with the moments of collective unity despite physical separations. Through a meticulous analysis of character dynamics, the paper argues that psychological borders are more harmful, influencing emotions and identities on a fundamental level. The study offers significant insights into the themes of identity, trauma, and demarcation in literature, contributing to a deeper understanding of how mental and social divisions shape human interactions and societal structures.

This research focuses on the role of the Barikan Tradition in strengthening social solidarity among the community, highlighting how this cultural and religious practice serves as a bond between community members. Additionally, the study aims to explore the religious meanings embedded in the Barikan Tradition from the local community's perspective, as well as its influence on the formation of collective identity. A qualitative approach using ethnographic methods was employed to deeply examine the religious meanings and functions of the Barikan Tradition and its social impact on the community. The findings indicate that the Barikan Tradition is understood as an effort to maintain balance between the spiritual and material worlds, between traditional values and the demands of modernization. This tradition plays a significant role in reinforcing social solidarity, preserving collective identity, and helping the community adapt to social changes. Furthermore, the Barikan Tradition reflects religious syncretism, where a fusion of local beliefs with religion occurs. As a religious rite passed down through generations, Barikan not only functions as a symbolic ritual but also as a reflection of spirituality and community values. In the context of the sociology of religion, this tradition plays an important role in strengthening collective consciousness and preserving religious values amid the challenges of globalization and modernization.

Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) has become a significant psychosocial and spiritual concern among congregants whose daily rhythms are shaped by social media visibility, comparison, and constant connectivity. This article examines FoMO as an object of pastoral counseling, not merely as excessive screen use but as a relational and affective pattern in which digital platforms intensify unmet needs for belonging, identity, autonomy, and meaningful participation. The study aims to construct a pastoral counseling approach for congregants who experience anxiety, compulsive checking, social comparison, diminished self-worth, and spiritual distraction because of social media. Methodologically, the article uses a constructive-integrative literature review, synthesizing peer-reviewed research on FoMO, problematic social media use, social comparison, self-determination theory, and spiritually integrated counseling alongside major works in pastoral care and practical theology. The synthesis indicates that FoMO is best understood as a need-frustration cycle that is amplified by passive browsing, online comparison, and algorithmic immediacy. Pastoral counseling can respond constructively through careful assessment, theological reframing of identity and belonging, digital habit formation, communal practices, and referral pathways when psychological risk is present. The article concludes that pastoral counseling is uniquely positioned to transform FoMO from anxious digital vigilance into discernment, embodied community, and spiritually grounded digital wisdom.

Radicalism remains a widespread global threat, especially in multicultural countries like Indonesia. Educational institutions play an essential role in countering radical ideologies by shaping students' characters to foster resilience against extremism. This paper explores how the synergy between architectural design, the authenticity of the place, and social adaptive learning through social networks and effective curriculum management contributes to creating an effective anti-radicalism learning environment. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines existing literature on educational architecture, place-based learning, effective learning curriculum and integration of social networks in character education. The review highlights how architectural spaces that encourage collaboration and interaction can help foster inclusivity, open dialogue, and social cohesion—key elements in preventing radicalization. In addition, the concept of authenticity of place, which emphasizes the connection between students and their local cultural heritage, is identified as an important factor in building tolerance and social awareness alongside the implementation of an effective learning curriculum. Through place-based learning, students can develop a stronger sense of identity and belonging so that they are less easily influenced by extremist ideologies. Furthermore, integrating social networks into educational environments is examined for their role in promoting socially adaptive learning. Social platforms provide opportunities for students to engage with diverse perspectives, develop critical thinking, and build empathy—skills that are essential to counter radicalization. The SLR method allows for a comprehensive synthesis of research findings, offering new insights into how educational spaces can be designed to foster anti-radicalism character. This study contributes to the body of knowledge on the relationship between architecture, cultural context, effective curriculum implementation, and digital learning and offers recommendations for educational institutions to enhance their role in preventing radicalization.
