Post-harvest handling of fish requires an effective cold chain system, including the availability of ice factories, to preserve the quality and freshness of catches. The presence of an ice factory enables fishermen to bring ice during fishing trips, ensuring the catch remains safe for consumption. The planning of a portable mini ice factory in Ciwaru Village, located within the Ciletuh National Geopark, aims to maintain fish quality along the southern coast of West Java. Although several ice factories exist in Sukabumi Regency, their availability at fish landing sites such as the Ciwaru Fish Auction Place (TPI) remains insufficient. According to the Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries No. 2 of 2021, assistance for ice factory construction is provided to fishermen groups following a feasibility study submission. This community service project aims to assist fishermen cooperatives in improving cold chain management and preparing a feasibility study for ice factory development. Key issues identified include limited human resource competence, hygiene and sanitation challenges, feasibility study preparation, and internal communication enhancement within cooperatives. Solutions are implemented through training programs, cold chain method applications, feasibility analysis for mini ice factories, and the development of an information system for fishermen. The planned ice factory unit has a capacity of 1 ton per 8-hour cycle, supported by three freshwater wells near the site. Economic analysis reveals an NPV of Rp1,170,676,141, an IRR of 10.91%, and a Net B/C Ratio of 1.64, with a BEP at 311 tons/year, well below the installed capacity of 788 tons/year, confirming its economic viability. The resulting feasibility study will serve as the basis for applying for government assistance, complemented by scientific publications, national media coverage, video documentation, and intellectual property registration.

Introduction: Achieving carbon neutrality in industrial systems is essential for mitigating climate change and promoting sustainability. The increasing demand for energy optimization and carbon emission reduction has driven the development of advanced technologies, particularly hybrid machine learning (ML) models. These models, combining ensemble learning and reinforcement learning (RL), offer significant promise in optimizing industrial processes, reducing energy consumption, and improving environmental performance. This study explores the application of hybrid ML models in achieving carbon neutral goals through dynamic process optimization and energy control in industrial settings. Literature Review: Hybrid ML models integrate different machine learning techniques to handle complex and dynamic environments effectively. Ensemble learning methods, such as boosting, bagging, and stacking, combine multiple algorithms to improve predictive performance and robustness. Reinforcement learning (RL), on the other hand, enables real time decision making and adaptation based on trial and error interactions with the environment. In energy optimization, these models are used to reduce energy intensity and carbon emissions, enhancing overall operational efficiency. Previous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of ML models in energy management, but challenges such as data quality, model integration, and computational complexity remain. Materials and Method: The study applies hybrid ML models combining ensemble learning and RL to optimize energy consumption and minimize carbon emissions in industrial processes. Data from real time sensors and operational parameters are used to train the models. The ensemble learning component improves the accuracy of energy predictions, while RL ensures dynamic process adjustments in response to fluctuating energy demand. The models were tested in various industrial settings, including manufacturing processes, smart grids, and microgrid systems. Performance metrics such as energy efficiency, carbon emissions reduction, and operational costs were evaluated to assess the effectiveness of the models.  Results and Discussion: The hybrid ML models achieved significant reductions in energy intensity (15-20%) and carbon emissions (18-25%). The real time adaptability of the RL component allowed the models to adjust energy consumption patterns dynamically, improving energy efficiency and reducing waste. The models demonstrated their ability to adapt to varying operational conditions, ensuring optimal energy use. A cost-benefit analysis showed that the hybrid models provided substantial energy savings and reduced operational costs, with a return on investment (ROI) of 30-35% within the first year of deployment. However, challenges such as computational complexity and data quality issues were identified, highlighting the need for further refinement in model development.

Madrasas and Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions that have a strategic role in shaping the character, morals, and competencies of students. In addition to carrying out the formal learning process, these two institutions are also centers for moral, spiritual, and social development. In their operations, madrasas and pesantren manage various administrative activities, such as student data collection, attendance recording, grade processing, teacher data management, lesson schedule preparation, and delivery of academic information to related parties. However, many institutions still use manual systems that rely on notebooks or separate applications that are not integrated. This condition poses a number of obstacles, including the high risk of recording errors, duplicate data that is difficult to track, the slow process of recapitulation of grades and attendance, and delays in the delivery of academic information. In addition, manual processes cause administrative management to be less efficient and prone to data loss. As the need for fast, accurate, and accurate information increases, technological solutions are needed that are able to integrate all administrative and academic processes in one centralized system. Web-based information systems are an effective alternative to improve work efficiency, minimize errors, and facilitate access to information for teachers, students, and guardians. With the implementation of a well-managed system, madrasas and Islamic boarding schools are expected to improve the quality of services and support a more modern, structured, and sustainable learning process.

Vergence movement is an important mechanism in eye coordination to maintain visual focus. The neural pathways controlling vergence involve complex interactions between various brain structures, such as the mesencephalic nucleus of the oculomotor nerve (CN III), the abducens nucleus (CN VI), the reticular pontine formation (PRF), and the visual and motor cortices. Disorders in this system can lead to convergence insufficiency, esotropia, exotropia, as well as diplopia which impacts the quality of binocular vision. This study aims to conduct a systematic review of the neural pathways that play a role in the vergence system. This research design is a study that uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. 5 articles were obtained using a method of secondary analysis of literature review through scientific database portals such as SINTA, Scopus and Google Scholar published in 2015-2025 both national and international articles. The results of the analysis show that vergence disorders are common in children and the elderly, with various causes ranging from benign factors to more serious neurological conditions. Studies show that activities in the parietal eye field (PEF), frontal eye field (FEF), superior colliculus (SC), and PRF have important roles in vergence coordination. In addition, vergence deficits were also found in Parkinson's patients, who showed prolonged latency and reduced vergence gain. In the context of technology, research on virtual reality (VR) shows that vergence errors often occur when users interact with virtual environments, leading to visual fatigue and incorrect depth perception. This study also highlights that neurotransmitters such as GABA, glutamate, and dopamine have a role in the modulation of neural signals that control vergence. A deeper understanding of the neural pathways of vergence is crucial in ophthalmology and neurology, especially in the diagnosis and therapy of binocular vision disorders. In addition, research on vergence also contributes to the development of visual technologies, such as VR and eye tracking systems, that are more adaptive to human physiological characteristics.

Deforestation in Indonesia's hilly regions has a significant impact on increasing the rate of erosion and sedimentation. This study aims to systematically examine the effects of deforestation on erosion and sedimentation processes and evaluate conservation approaches used to mitigate these impacts. The method employed is a literature review of various relevant national and international studies, focusing on tropical upland areas in Indonesia. The analysis reveals that the conversion of forests into agricultural land, plantations, and settlements results in the loss of vegetative cover, which plays a critical role in stabilizing soil particles and regulating surface runoff. The resulting impacts include increased erosion rates, soil structure degradation, and elevated sedimentation in water bodies, which deteriorate water quality, reduce reservoir capacity, and harm aquatic ecosystems such as coral reefs and mangrove forests. Effective conservation approaches include vegetative techniques such as reforestation and agroforestry, as well as mechanical techniques such as terracing and check dams. The main recommendation from this review is the need for integrated conservation policies, community participation, and the mapping of vulnerable areas to achieve sustainable and adaptive land management in Indonesia’s hilly regions.

Pulmonary tuberculosis (pulmonary TB) is an infectious disease that attacks the respiratory system, especially the lungs, and can cause various clinical symptoms, one of which is decreased oxygen saturation (SpO₂). Decreased oxygen saturation can worsen the patient's condition and affect their quality of life. Therefore, effective interventions are needed to increase oxygen levels in the body, especially through safe and easy-to-implement non-pharmacological approaches. One intervention commonly used in nursing practice is the semi-Fowler position, which is a lying position with the head of the bed elevated around 30–45 degrees, which is believed to improve lung expansion and increase ventilation. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the semi-Fowler position on increasing oxygen saturation in pulmonary TB patients. The study was conducted using a descriptive method through a case study approach on three pulmonary TB patients treated in the Mawar Room of Subang District Hospital. Data were collected through direct observation of oxygen saturation using a pulse oximeter at minute 0 (before intervention), minute 10, minute 30, and more than minute 60 after the patient was placed in the semi-Fowler position. The results showed a significant increase in the SpO₂ values of the three patients after 30 minutes in the semi-Fowler position, with an average increase from 92–93% to 95–96%, and these values tended to be stable for more than 60 minutes after the intervention. These findings suggest that the semi-Fowler position can be an effective non-pharmacological nursing intervention option to increase oxygen saturation in pulmonary TB patients. The application of this position is recommended in daily nursing practice to help overcome respiratory disorders, increase comfort, and accelerate the recovery process of pulmonary TB patients.

Suboptimal waste management in Kalijoso Village, Secang District, Magelang Regency, is a critical issue that impacts environmental sustainability and public health. The inefficiency of conventional waste disposal methods has led to increased waste accumulation, soil and water pollution, and the spread of diseases, which has significant consequences for local communities. To address these challenges, the local government and community organizations have embraced the principles of the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) through a transformation of traditional waste disposal sites (TPS) into 3R TPS. The new approach focuses on sustainable waste management practices that reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills. One of the key strategies implemented is educational outreach to raise awareness about the importance of waste segregation and recycling. Additionally, training programs have been conducted to teach the community how to process organic waste, particularly through the cultivation of maggots using Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae. This method not only helps reduce the volume of organic waste but also provides a practical solution for transforming waste into valuable resources. The maggots cultivated during the demonstration are used as animal feed, which creates a sustainable circular economy within the community. Furthermore, composting organic waste results in high-quality compost that supports local agricultural activities. This has added economic value by reducing the need for chemical fertilizers, while simultaneously improving soil health. The role of the Salakan Hamlet Youth Organization has been instrumental in this initiative. They have successfully managed a waste bank, providing an organized and systematic approach to waste collection and recycling. This initiative has fostered a sense of community responsibility and has not only improved waste management practices but also contributed to the overall economic development of the village.
