Suicide is an act committed by individuals against themselves. This study aims to investigate the role of Christian Religious Education (CRE) in preventing suicide among young people. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a literature study approach, where data is collected through analysis and description of information from various sources, including books and journal articles. The results of the study show that CRE contributes to preventing suicide through the formation of identity and meaning in life. By emphasizing Christian values and biblical knowledge, CRE helps teenagers find meaning in life and strengthen their faith. Through engaging teaching methods, CRE empowers youth to appreciate themselves and face life's challenges with a positive attitude. Additionally, social community support integrated within CRE is vital for the mental health of adolescents, creating a safe and supportive environment. Mental health and spirituality are interrelated, with CRE playing a role in developing spiritual maturity and providing a strong moral foundation. Thus, young people can maintain their mental and spiritual health and find hope amid difficulties.

Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood marked by various physical, emotional, and social changes. One of the main challenges faced by adolescents is a lack of self-confidence, which can hinder the development of self-potential and social interaction. Based on observations at the Taruna Yodha Sukoharjo Children's Social Service Center, it was found that many adolescents showed an inferior attitude, were afraid of being wrong, and were reluctant to express their opinions in public. Therefore, this community service aims to increase awareness of the importance of self-confidence through interactive socialization. The implementation method includes four stages, namely the presentation of material on the concept of self-confidence, discussion of personal experiences, providing positive affirmations, and ice breaking to build familiarity. This activity was attended by most of the adolescents at the center and succeeded in increasing active participation from 20% to 50%. Although there were still obstacles such as limited time and the difficulty of some participants in expressing themselves verbally, the evaluation results showed an increase in social interaction and enthusiasm in implementing positive affirmations. This activity proves that an interactive approach can be an effective solution in fostering adolescent self-confidence. For more optimal results, ongoing programs such as public speaking training and psychological assistance are needed. It is hoped that teenagers in the shelter can continue to develop their potential and face social challenges with more confidence.

The phenomenon of online gambling has become a serious concern in Indonesia, as it provides very easy access for all groups, including teenagers and underage children, to engage in gambling practices. This study aims to examine and analyze the punishment for online gambling offenders from two perspectives: Indonesian positive law and Islamic law. Under national law, Article 303 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) regulates criminal sanctions for gambling in any form, including digital formats. Meanwhile, Islamic law strictly prohibits all forms of gambling due to elements of speculation (gharar), one-sided loss, and its contradiction with moral values. This study uses a qualitative approach through literature review by analyzing legal sources such as the Criminal Code, legislation, hadiths, as well as fiqh and tafsir literature. The results show that both Islamic law and national law share common ground in prohibiting gambling and imposing sanctions, although they differ in their methods of implementation. Firm law enforcement and preventive measures are necessary to protect society, especially the younger generation, from the harmful impacts of online gambling.

Using smartphones in interpersonal communication among adolescents is now commonplace. Many teenagers who follow the flow of communication media in technology choose smartphones as a more effective interpersonal communication medium. Compared to other forms of communication, interpersonal communication occurs personally, in face-to-face situations, and through media. Interpersonal communication is fundamental since it permits it to require place dialogic communication. Exchange may be a shape of interpersonal communication that appears in the event of interaction. Those included in this communication frame are double-functioning, each being the speaker and the audience, on the other hand. This report analyzes adolescents’ interpersonal communication culture in the smartphone-use era based on this statement. The method used is the phenomenological method. The conclusion of this study indicates that the current adolescent interpersonal communication culture is more influenced by digital technology than direct interaction. Therefore, efforts are needed to foster awareness of the importance of maintaining a healthy quality of interpersonal communication amid technological advances.
