This study examines the eschatological. Dimensions present in the encyclical Laudato Si’ and their implications for ecological responsibility within the Christian faith. The increasing global ecological crisis necessitates a serious theological reflection capable of grounding believers’ engagement with environmental issues in their faith convictions. Eschatology, as the doctrinal framework concerning ultimate realities, addresses not merely the end of individual human existence but, more profoundly, the hope for the renewal and transformation of all creation in God. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, drawing primarily on ecclesiastical documents, Sacred Scripture, and relevant theological literature. The findings demonstrate that Laudato Si’ integrates a robust eschatological vision, wherein the promise of “a new heaven and a new earth” constitutes the theological foundation for human responsibility toward creation. Contrary to interpretations that treat eschatological hope as a rationale for passivity or disengagement from the world, Laudato Si’ affirms that such hope actively motivates believers to participate in the care and preservation of the environment as an integral expression of their faith calling. This study concludes that eschatology possesses genuine practical relevance for everyday Christian life, particularly in cultivating ecological awareness. Faith in the ultimate fulfillment of God’s salvific plan, far from diminishing present-day responsibilities, intensifies the moral obligation to treat the earth as a “common home” entrusted to humanity.

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal in evaluating the Qur’an reading program using the Batiq Izzati method at RA Al-Izzah in Serang City. The principal holds a strategic responsibility in ensuring the quality of education, including the implementation of religious programs that play a crucial role in shaping Islamic character in early childhood. The Batiq Izzati method is an internally developed approach by the Al-Izzah Foundation, designed to facilitate Qur’an reading through a gradual, enjoyable, and child-friendly method. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the principal has fulfilled eight key leadership roles; however, the evaluation process is not yet optimal due to limited time and insufficient parental involvement. Evaluations are conducted daily by teachers and periodically by the principal to determine students' progress through different levels (jilid). Supporting factors include competent teachers, adequate facilities, and a structured evaluation system, while inhibiting factors involve time constraints and limited human resources. This study recommends strengthening the principal's role in continuous evaluation and fostering better collaboration between the school and parents to enhance the program's effectiveness.

This study examines the eco-eschatological dimensions embedded in the myths and traditions of pante among the Manggarai people of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The pante tradition is not merely understood as an economic activity involving the tapping and processing of palm sap, but also as a cultural practice that embodies ecological, spiritual, social, and ethical values. Through this tradition, the Manggarai people maintain a harmonious relationship with nature and recognize their responsibility toward the environment as part of a sacred cosmic order. This study employs a qualitative approach based on literature review and hermeneutical-theological analysis to explore the symbolic meanings and theological implications of the pante myth. The findings reveal that the pante myth reflects the Manggarai people’s cosmological worldview, in which nature is regarded as a living and sacred reality that must be respected and protected. Furthermore, the tradition promotes an ethic of sustainability that discourages excessive exploitation of natural resources and encourages balance between human needs and environmental preservation. From an eco-eschatological perspective, the pante tradition represents a vision of hope for the restoration of relationships among humans, nature, and God, anticipating the fulfillment of the “new heaven and new earth.” Therefore, this study affirms that Manggarai local wisdom provides a valuable contribution to the development of contextual, ecological, and sustainable theology in contemporary society.

This study aims to collect Serawai ethnic folktales, analyze their narrative structures, and identify the cultural values embedded within them. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using structural and cultural value approaches. Data were obtained through interviews with informants, resulting in the collection of six Serawai folktales, namely Si Pahit Lidah (Serunting Sakti), Dusun Tinggi (Sebakas), Danau Kuranding, Batu Balai, Misteri Bukit Candi, and Sepit Kancing. The analysis focuses on structural elements, including theme, plot, characters and characterization, and setting, followed by an examination of cultural values using Clyde Kluckhohn’s cultural value orientation theory. The findings show that the six folktales are constructed through the integration of narrative elements that form a unified meaning and convey moral and cultural messages to the community. The dominant character, Serunting Sakti, represents wisdom, moral responsibility, and leadership. Furthermore, the analysis reveals that Serawai folktales contain five cultural value orientations proposed by Kluckhohn: the nature of human life, human work, human relations with time, human relations with nature, and human relations with others. These values are reflected in attitudes of wisdom, honesty, responsibility, hard work, appreciation of experience, environmental awareness, mutual cooperation, deliberation, and respect for customary traditions. Among these orientations, the most dominant is human relations with others. Overall, Serawai folktales function as oral literary heritage and as a medium for transmitting cultural values, preserving local wisdom, and strengthening Serawai cultural identity.

The role of the ward chairman in the Catholic Church community is very important and strategic for the growth and development of the ecclesiastical community. However, the problem arises that the heads of the environment often accept the responsibility of this position by being forced, burdened and not willing to carry it out. This research aims to make the ward leaders realize that receiving leadership through this position can be very value-added, not only for themselves but also for others they serve. The method chosen is a literature study with the main reference from the leadership model of John C, Maxwell which is integrated with the results of research related to it. Based on the study, it is known that the reflection writing method is an effective strategy because it is able to foster the self-awareness of the Ward Chairs, so that it can increase the level of leadership that provides more value, both for themselves and others. Quantitative research is needed to measure the level of leadership, as well as qualitative research to comprehensively examine the research subjects at each leadership level.

This research aims to examine the values contained in Dalihan Na Tolu through the perspective of Christian eschatology and examine its relevance to the mission of the Catholic Church in society. Dalihan Na Tolu as a socio-cultural system of the Batak community contains the values of respect, solidarity, responsibility, and brotherhood which play an important role in building social harmony. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach through the collection of data from various books, journals, Church documents, and scientific sources relevant to the research theme. The results of the study show that the values in Dalihan Na Tolu are related to eschatological expectations in the Christian faith, especially in building a life that reflects the love, brotherhood, and fellowship that God wills. In addition, Dalihan Na Tolu also has relevance in the Church's mission as a means of inculturation in the proclamation of the Gospel that is more contextual in the Batak community. Thus, local culture is not seen as an obstacle to faith, but rather as a means that can support the realization of the values of God's Kingdom in common life.

This community service activity aims to instill religious values in the students at TPQ Miftakhul Huda by establishing the habit of praying before and after wudu, as an effort to transform worship practices from mere physical routines into profound spiritual experiences. Using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, this program is carried out through five main stages: discovery, dream, design, define, and do. The results of the activity indicate that through intensive demonstration and practical guidance, the students experienced significant improvement in discipline, awareness of maintaining purity, and moral responsibility as manifestations of Muslim character from an early age. Integrating prayer into the wudu practice has proven effective as an educational tool in building the foundation of faith from an early age, or the “golden age.” The synergy between the student team, educators, and the utilization of institutional facilities proved effective in establishing operational standards for character education that comprehensively integrate physical, mental, and theological aspects. Thus, the practice of wudu prayer serves as a strategic educational tool in strengthening children’s foundational faith during the golden age amidst the challenges of shifting global values.

This research is motivated by the increasingly complex life of global society, characterized by the intensity of intercultural and interreligious encounters and diverse value systems. These interactions often give rise to conflict, intolerance, and moral crises in social life. Hans Küng's idea of global ethics offers an ethical framework that emphasizes the importance of universal moral values as the basis for peaceful coexistence. This research aims to examine Hans Küng's thoughts on global ethics and examine their relevance for the development of Catholic Religious Education. The method used a qualitative descriptive approach through literature study. Data were obtained from Hans Küng's main works and various scientific literature discussing global ethics, interreligious dialogue, and religious education as secondary sources. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive-analytical stages of data reduction, presentation, and interpretation. The results of the study indicate that the concept of global ethics emphasizes universal moral principles such as respect for human dignity, justice, solidarity, honesty, and shared responsibility. These values encourage constructive interreligious dialogue and cross-cultural cooperation in a pluralistic society. Integrating global ethical principles into Catholic Religious Education helps shape individuals who are moral, tolerant, and open to diversity, moving beyond doctrine toward dialogue and social peace.

The rapid development of modern science and technology has brought major transformations to various aspects of human life, including education, communication, economics, health, and social interaction. Nevertheless, this progress often creates a gap between scientific advancement and spiritual or moral values, particularly when viewed from an Islamic perspective. This study aims to analyze the relationship between modern science and Islamic teachings, while also exploring relevant forms of integration between the two in responding to contemporary life challenges. The research employs a qualitative approach through a comprehensive literature review of books, scientific journals, and other academic sources related to science and Islam. The findings indicate that Islam is fundamentally not opposed to science; instead, Islamic teachings encourage critical thinking, intellectual development, and the pursuit of knowledge for the benefit of humanity. Furthermore, the integration of scientific knowledge and Islamic values is considered essential in maintaining balance between technological progress, ethical responsibility, and human morality. Therefore, continuous and contextual efforts are needed to harmonize science and religion so that both can contribute optimally to the development of a more humane, ethical, and spiritually grounded civilization.

This research reconstructs the concept of the ideal human being in Aristotelian philosophy and formulates its implications for contemporary character education. The study is grounded in modern educational challenges that require not only intellectual mastery but also the cultivation of complete character based on virtue. Using library research with a hermeneutic approach, this study critically interprets Aristotle’s key concepts, particularly eudaimonia, phronesis, and virtue ethics, and contextualizes them within current educational needs. Data were collected from relevant primary and secondary literature and analyzed through thematic and conceptual analysis to identify the relationship between Aristotelian ideas and character education. The findings show that the ideal human being, according to Aristotle, is one who achieves eudaimonia through the balanced development of moral and intellectual virtues, guided by phronesis as practical wisdom. Education is therefore understood as a gradual process of character formation through habituation, experience, role modeling, reflection, and ethical deliberation. This study proposes five strategies for Aristotelian character education: virtue habituation, experiential learning, educator role modeling, ethical deliberation, and context-based integral education. The study contributes a virtue-based educational model that emphasizes wisdom, responsibility, virtue, and the realization of the good life within society.

The development of discipline in children should begin at an early age, particularly in managing time for studying, playing, worship, and resting. Simple time management assistance activities are conducted to help children understand the importance of time regulation and to foster disciplined behavior in their daily activities. These activities include introduction sessions, material delivery, question-and-answer sessions, as well as the distribution of gifts and group photo sessions, all carried out in an interactive and participatory manner. The results indicate that children begin to organize their daily schedules, follow instructions, and demonstrate gradual improvements in discipline. The research method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves children, facilitators, and teachers/ustadzah in the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This approach enables children to learn by doing, fostering a sense of responsibility, critical thinking skills, and the development of positive habits in a sustainable manner. The activity is also supported by the active participation of teachers/ustadzah and the facilitation team to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process; therefore, simple time management assistance based on the PAR method is effective in fostering discipline and orderliness in children from an early age.

Religious culture that is still quite strong in the community is an important capital in the implementation of youth development programs. However, the influence of social media, promiscuity, and the lack of religious activities that are attractive to the younger generation have led to a decrease in adolescents' interest in religious activities in mosques. Therefore, this research aims to form the character of discipline, responsibility, and cooperation in the group through Islamic hadrah art activities. This study uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method, which is a community empowerment approach that focuses on the strengths and potentials possessed by the community, not on existing shortcomings or problems. In this approach, the community is invited to identify various assets they have, such as human resources, local institutions, cultural values, and social networks that can be used to overcome the problems they face. The results of the study showed that the adolescent participants experienced improved skills in playing hadrah and understanding of religious values. In addition, there has been a change in behavior towards being more disciplined, active, and caring for religious activities in the mosque environment.

This study examines the contribution of Aqidah, Sharia, and Morals to the formation of Muslim character. Aqidah serves as the foundation of faith, Sharia serves as a guideline for regulating daily behavior, while Morals are the manifestation of ethical behavior reflected in social life. These three components are interrelated and together form a balanced Muslim personality. The approach and method used in this study were qualitative, using a literature review method obtained through theories of Islamic education, character formation, and moral development from various books and scientific journals. The collected data were then subjected to further analysis. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Aqidah, Sharia, and Morals plays a role in shaping individuals with strong spiritual awareness, commendable behavior, and social responsibility. Individuals who possess strong Aqidah, consistently adhere to Sharia, and practice good Morals tend to demonstrate honesty, discipline, and empathy in social life. Furthermore, character education based on Islamic values can also strengthen moral awareness and create harmonious social relationships. The implications of this research suggest that both formal and non-formal educational institutions need to integrate faith values, religious practices, and morals into character education programs. This integration is expected to produce a generation with integrity, religious character, and the ability to adapt to the challenges of the modern era.

Work discipline is a crucial element in improving employee performance, particularly in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector such as automotive workshops, which often face managerial and structural challenges. This study aims to explore the understanding, implementation, and influence of work discipline on employee performance at Gandi Jaya Motor Workshop, Jombang, within a local context characterized by religious values and informal work culture. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that work discipline is perceived as a form of personal responsibility driven by leadership example and religious values, rather than by formal systems alone. External factors such as limited infrastructure and the absence of a structured HR evaluation system also affect performance effectiveness. These findings expand the scope of Work Discipline and Employee Performance theories by incorporating social and cultural dimensions as determinants of work behavior. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for a humanistic approach to HR management in MSMEs and recommends further exploration with broader participant coverage and more diverse methodological approaches.
