Unemployment remains a structural problem in Indonesia with an open unemployment rate reaching 4.91% (BPS, 2024). This study aims to examine the concept of kasb (earning a living) from the perspective of Imam Al-Syaibani and its relevance in the socio-economic context of contemporary Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative literature study with a descriptive-analytical approach, collecting and analyzing classical to contemporary literature related to Al-Syaibani's thoughts and the issue of unemployment. The results of the study show that the concept of kasb emphasizes work as worship that must be carried out in a halal manner, oriented towards a balance between individual (self-interest) and social (public-interest) interests. Al-Syaibani classifies economic endeavors into four types: ijarah (rent), tijarah (trade), zaira'ah (agriculture), and sina'ah (industry), with agriculture as the main sector that brings blessings. This concept is relevant to improving work ethic, productivity, and social responsibility, so that it can be a theoretical and practical solution in reducing unemployment. The integration of spiritual values in economic activities, such as the intention of worship and fair distribution of wealth, can encourage collective welfare. This study contributes to the development of Islamic economics by offering a holistic perspective that combines moral and technical dimensions in overcoming unemployment

Pollution of hydrocarbons in marine waters was recorded up to 2003 around 6.44 million tons and dominant due to the results of fishery port activities to cause the balance of coastal ecosystems disrupted. The drained state funds for its handling can reach 1000 USD per ton up to 33,000 USD in each region. Various efforts have been made is still not effective enough. The purpose of this program is to get the appropriate technology design in overcoming the problem of hydrocarbon pollution in the fishing port. The method used by literature and field study and a series of testing tools. The solution is called MABOA (Magic Briquette Oil Absorbent) is a technology that is applied aplikatif appropriate to overcome the problem of oil pollution in the port area. This tool is a net with the main components of magic briquettes, auto-spray containing bacteria degradation and microcontroller which as a whole has the ability to absorb and degrade hydrocarbon compounds. The circular MABOA net will prevent the expansion of the oil spill zone by the absorption process by magic briquettes. Pseudomonas puttidae and Bacillus sp. In auto-spray will be automatically sprayed over the surface of the spill zone to perform the decomposition of hydrocarbon compounds. Bacteria will grow and utilize hydrocarbons that have been absorbed and accumulated in the body of magic briquettes so that the cleaning process becomes more effective and faster. Results from a series of trials showed that MABOA with 3meter diameter dimension able to absorb hydrocarbon compound as much as 35.000mL with 3-5min time absorption rate and with density of colonies of bacteria 3,5x109 able to degrade 32% of existing hydrocarbon compound with efficiency time 3-7 days. The data is an accumulation of those component test result data.

Currently, public trust in the Indonesian National Army (TNI) is decreasing, especially due to issues of accountability, integrity, and meritocracy. In this uncertain situation, the socialization of the TNI Law is a strategic step to improve the image of the TNI in the eyes of the public. Changes to the TNI Law are expected to bring great benefits, especially in increasing transparency, accountability, and the implementation of a meritocratic system in the TNI structure. However, the public wants to ensure that these changes are truly far from the practice of injustice and personal interests within the TNI. This study aims to see how effective the socialization of the TNI Law is in overcoming the crisis of public trust. In addition, this study also produces various views on the implementation of the TNI Law and assesses how the socialization of the Law can affect public perceptions of professionalism and trust in the TNI. The results of a simple linear regression test show that the socialization of the TNI Law has a significant effect on the level of public trust, with a sig value (0.001). The R Square value of 0.301 indicates that the socialization of the TNI Bill is able to explain 30.1% of the variability in public trust, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the model. Thus, socialization that is carried out openly, participatively, and accountably is an important step in bridging the current crisis of trust. The findings of this study provide critical insights and are expected to be implemented effectively to improve public trust in the TNI institution in the future.
