The development of Digital Marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) has encouraged hospitals to adopt digital communication strategies to attract patients’ visit intentions. However, in public hospitals, the effectiveness of these strategies in influencing patient behavior still requires empirical validation. This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Marketing and eWOM on patient visit intention, with Brand Awareness as an intervening variable at RSUD Cengkareng. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected from November to December 2025 from 100 general outpatient respondents selected using the Slovin formula and a simple random sampling technique. The data were gathered through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results show that Digital Marketing and eWOM have a positive and significant effect on Brand Awareness. Both variables also significantly influence patient visit intention, with eWOM demonstrating the strongest effect. These findings indicate that information shared through digital platforms and patient recommendations plays an important role in shaping potential patients’ decisions to visit the hospital. However, Brand Awareness does not have a significant effect on patient visit intention and does not mediate the relationship between Digital Marketing, eWOM, and visit intention. This suggests that, in the context of RSUD Cengkareng as a public hospital, patients’ visit decisions are more directly influenced by digital information exposure and the credibility of online recommendations rather than by brand recognition alone.

In the digital era and free market, technology is growing rapidly. Consumers and businesses are now more inclined to use digital transactions rather than face-to-face cash transactions. This study aims to find solutions and receive feedback related to the implementation of the Consumer Protection Law in the Digital Era and Free Market. The method used in this activity is through counseling and discussion. From the results of this activity, it was concluded that Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection needs to be updated immediately as it is no longer relevant to the current digital technology, which has advanced far and is different from the conditions in 1999 when the consumer protection law was issued. The results of this activity indicate that the Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 1999 requires comprehensive updates to accommodate the development of digital transactions, personal data protection, and consumer rights in cyberspace. Furthermore, the importance of educating consumers about their rights in digital transactions is also a key focus, so that the public can avoid losses resulting from unsafe online transactions.

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has positioned e-commerce as a primary shopping channel, with Shopee emerging as the most popular platform in Indonesia. In the context of online fashion purchases, consumers face inherent limitations due to the inability to physically inspect or try products. Consequently, product ratings and reviews function as critical forms of social proof, helping to reduce uncertainty and perceived purchasing risk. This study investigates the influence of product ratings and reviews on purchasing decisions for fashion products on Shopee, focusing on undergraduate students at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang. Employing an associative quantitative approach, data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to 100 purposively selected respondents who had purchased fashion products on Shopee within the last three months. The independent variables are product ratings and product reviews, while the dependent variable is the consumer purchasing decision. Statistical analyses include validity and reliability testing, correlation analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The study’s findings are expected to offer both practical insights for e-commerce businesses in developing effective digital communication strategies and theoretical contributions to the understanding of digital consumer behavior in the e-commerce environment.

The rapid development of e-commerce in Indonesia makes transactions easier for consumers, but also presents various losses, such as fraud, goods that do not match the description, leaks of personal data, and problems with returning goods. In this context, Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE) exists as a legal basis which is expected to provide protection for consumers in online buying and selling transactions. This research aims to explore and analyze the effectiveness of the legal protection provided by the ITE Law for consumers, with a focus on protection for detrimental transactions, consumer personal data, as well as dispute resolution mechanisms. The research method used is a normative approach with a literature study of statutory regulations and related legal literature. The research results show that the ITE Law provides quite comprehensive legal protection, including the obligation of electronic system operators to ensure the security of transactions and personal data, as well as regulating sanctions for perpetrators of fraud. However, even though regulations already exist, implementation and consumer understanding of their rights is still a major challenge.

Transaction logs in online retail provide opportunities for data-driven customer segmentation. This study segments customers at two scopes global (all countries) and United Kingdom (UK) using Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (RFM) features derived from the Online Retail transaction dataset. After cleaning cancellations and invalid records, RFM variables are computed per customer and normalized. K-Means clustering is applied separately for global and UK data, while the number of clusters is selected via the elbow criterion and validated using internal indices. The best configuration for both scopes yields five clusters, with moderate separation quality based on the silhouette score. Cluster profiling indicates distinct groups ranging from low-frequency low-spending customers to highly frequent high-spending customers. The comparison between global and UK segmentation shows similar structural patterns, yet different proportions across segments, supporting targeted retention and value-driven marketing actions.

This research is driven by the urgency of maintaining the quality of the Indonesian language in the realm of online journalism, particularly on major media platforms such as CNN Indonesia. Online media plays a central role as the primary source of information, but the speed of publication often encounters linguistic errors that have the potential to damage credibility and lead to misinterpretation among readers. The focus of the study on syntactic errors is crucial because errors in sentence structure, diction, and conjunctions directly affect the meaning and effectiveness of communication. This study aims to analyze and describe the forms of syntactic errors (including sentence pattern errors, non-standard diction, and conjunction redundancy) and offer recommendations for improvement based on standard Indonesian language rules. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with a syntactic approach. Data in the form of linguistic units at the phrase, clause, and sentence levels from all CNN Indonesia news texts for the period of August 2025, collected using the Listen and Note Technique. The findings are anticipated to show a dominance of sentence ineffectiveness, incorrect use of conjunctions, and temporally illogical diction errors. This research is expected to contribute as a practical guide for editors and news writers to improve the quality of editing, while also supporting literacy efforts and the use of good and correct Indonesian in the digital public space.

The rapid development of information technology has pushed the dissemination of news through online media, demanding a language that is fast, concise, and informative to ensure accurate news delivery. This necessity positions the syntactic structure, particularly the phrase, as a critical element in determining the quality and communication effectiveness of digital news. This study has a dual objective: to comprehensively identify and analyze the types of phrases found in five online news articles published by CNBC Indonesia in August 2025, and to elucidate the grammatical function of each phrase  within the context of news sentences. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative method, involving a systematic process of reading, noting, and accurately analyzing the textual data repeatedly. The results indicate a diversity  of phrase types, with a significant dominance of  noun and verb phrases. The findings also include adjectival, prepositional, adverbial, numerical, exocentric, and endocentric phrases, which collectively enrich the linguistic structure, enhance information richness, and greatly facilitate reader comprehension of the news content. These findings not only highlight the specific patterns of phrase usage in digital news writing but also provide deep insights into their structural and grammatical roles. This study is expected to serve as a valuable reference for linguistic research and language learning, as well as offering practical guidance for online media practitioners to continuously improve the clarity, effectiveness, and quality of news writing in the digital realm.

The rapid development of digital technology has led to an increased adoption of digital payment methods in online transaction-based businesses. However, in practice, failures and limitations in the implementation of digital payment systems still occur, potentially disrupting transaction processes and reducing customer convenience. Payment related obstacles may result in transaction cancellations and increase the risk of customer churn. This study aims to analyze the impact of failures and limitations in digital payment methods on customer churn using a classification-based approach. The data used in this research are secondary e-commerce customer data obtained from the Kaggle platform, including transaction information, payment methods, customer behavior, and historical transaction records. The research methodology consists of data preprocessing, time-based feature engineering, and classification modeling using logistic regression, decision tree, and random forest algorithms. Model performance is evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrix metrics. The results indicate that the decision tree model demonstrates superior capability in identifying churn customers compared to the other models, although it does not always achieve the highest accuracy. In addition to digital payment methods, other factors such as purchase value, transaction frequency, purchase timing patterns, and product return rates also influence customer churn. The findings highlight the importance of optimizing digital payment systems as part of customer experience enhancement strategies and customer retention efforts in online transaction–based businesses.

The rapid growth of e-commerce has intensified competition among digital businesses, making pricing and discount strategies critical in influencing consumer purchase decisions. This study aims to examine the effect of original product price and price after discount on consumer purchase decisions on e-commerce platforms. A quantitative causal research design was employed using secondary data derived from publicly available e-commerce transaction records. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression to assess the partial and simultaneous effects of pricing variables on purchase decisions, which were measured using a price-based purchase decision index. The findings indicate that both original price and discounted price have a significant negative effect on consumer purchase decisions. This suggests that lower displayed and final prices increase consumers’ likelihood of making a purchase. Furthermore, the discounted price was found to exert a more dominant influence than the original price, highlighting the importance of perceived value in online purchasing behavior. This study contributes to the digital marketing literature by providing empirical evidence on pricing effects in e-commerce and offers practical insights for e-commerce platforms in designing effective and data-driven pricing and discount strategies.
