Informed consent is an essential element in health services, including in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care, which have high risks and involve critical medical decisions. This study aims to analyze the procedures and implementation of informed consent for patients in the anesthesia and intensive care unit, highlighting the legal and ethical aspects of decision-making. A qualitative approach was used to evaluate patients' and families' understanding of the medical information provided, their rights in agreeing to or refusing medical treatment, and the role of doctors in ensuring that consent is given voluntarily and informatively. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with health practitioners and a review of related legal and medical ethics literature. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of informed consent in the intensive care unit and anesthesiology unit often faces challenges due to the critical condition of the patient, time constraints, and the complexity of communication. Therefore, this study recommends strengthening communication policies and training for medical personnel to ensure that patient rights are met and medical actions can be carried out in accordance with applicable ethical and legal principles.

Background: Cervical cancer remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality among women, particularly in developing countries. Although early detection methods such as visual inspection with acetic acid (IVA) and Pap smear are effective, participation among women of reproductive age is still low. Identifying factors that influence women’s interest in cervical cancer screening is essential to strengthen prevention programs at the primary healthcare level. Method:  This study used a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The research was conducted in the working area of UPT Puskesmas Rawat Inap Ome Tidore. Participants were women of reproductive age (15–49 years) selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire assessing socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge, attitudes, access to health information, family or husband support, and interest in early detection of cervical cancer. Data analysis included univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi-square or Fisher’s exact tests. Results: The results showed that age, education level, knowledge, attitudes, access to health information, and family or husband support were significantly associated with women’s interest in early detection of cervical cancer. Women aged 25–49 years, those with higher education, good knowledge, positive attitudes, adequate access to information, and strong family support demonstrated higher interest in screening. Fear, embarrassment, lack of time, and misconceptions were identified as common barriers. Conclusion: Women’s interest in cervical cancer early detection is influenced by predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors. Strengthening health education, improving information access, and involving family support are key to increasing screening participation.

This study aims to analyze factors that influence fraud disclosure . Fraud, or fraudulent acts, have become a significant problem in various sectors in Indonesia, especially with the dominance of corruption cases. This widespread corruption has a negative impact on the country's economy and public trust in institutions. Previous studies have shown that forensic audits, with an analytical approach to financial evidence, and investigative audits, which focus on thorough investigation procedures, significantly contribute to fraud disclosure. The professionalism of auditor judgment plays a role in ensuring that audit decisions are based on accurate analysis, while auditor independence is important to maintain integrity and objectivity in carrying out audits. In addition, internal control helps prevent and detect fraud early on. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature review approach sourced from trusted journals and scientific publications. The results of the study show that the integration of these factors can increase the effectiveness of fraud disclosure. These findings also emphasize the importance of implementing modern technology, such as big data analytics and artificial intelligence, to strengthen the audit system. The conclusion of this study suggests the importance of a combination of various audit elements to support better organizational oversight. The results of this study indicate that forensic audits, investigative audits, professional judgment, auditor independence, and internal control have a positive effect on fraud disclosure.

The rapid advancement of knowledge and information technology has reshaped the perspectives and lifestyles of Indonesian citizens, particularly through innovations like Artificial Intelligence (AI), which automates various tasks and simplifies human activities. However, the misuse of AI has become a critical issue in 2023, especially in spreading sophisticated fake information. To address this, Law No. 1 of 2024, amending Law No. 11 of 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions, is expected to combat AI software misuse effectively. This study investigates the legal implications of AI misuse, particularly concerning privacy and personal data security, and examines its interpretation under Articles 27 and 32 of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law to enhance law enforcement and safeguard individual privacy rights. Using a normative legal research approach, the findings reveal that AI misuse, such as manipulating photos and videos, violates data protection laws, including the GDPR in the European Union and Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Act. Such violations can lead to severe penalties, legal consequences, and reputational damage for companies. Recognized as a form of cybercrime, AI misuse is addressed under Article 35 of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law, which provides a specialized legal framework for handling such offenses comprehensively.

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) systems often struggle to extract text accurately from images captured at various distances, particularly under challenging conditions such as blurriness, noise, or poor lighting. These issues are common in real-world scenarios and limit the effectiveness of existing OCR technologies. This study addresses these challenges by applying Gaussian blur after the grayscale conversion. This method reduces noise for the image's clarity without sacrificing the original algorithm's key features. Results revealed that the enhanced OCR algorithm significantly outperformed existing methods in terms of accuracy and confidence levels. It demonstrated the ability to read signages with higher precision, even in difficult conditions such as intricate designs, poor lighting, and long distances. This advancement enables more reliable text recognition and translation, offering practical applications for public signage translation, cross-cultural communication, and improved accessibility in multilingual environments.

The utilization of natural resources in the current era is an important concern, especially in supporting environmental sustainability. The development of awareness of environmental issues also affects the economic cycle, especially the production process of environmentally friendly goods. The running of environmentally friendly goods production in Indonesia is evidenced by the existence of various product innovations that utilize waste or natural materials, one of which is JEcoware. The existence of JEcoware is also a means of supporting business actors to carry out sustainable product innovations. One of the popular JEcoware product innovations is the utilization of teak leaves and used cardboard. The type of method used is descriptive observation with a qualitative approach. All data for this observation was obtained through literature reviews by analyzing information from various sources, as well as through the analysis of production practices carried out periodically at JEcoware. Based on the results of the discussion, it is known that the utilization of teak leaves is influenced by the season and the availability of materials to produce JEcoware products. The change of seasons also affects the quality of teak leaves due to irregular rainfall. Therefore, seasonal changes significantly impact the quality of raw materials and the JEcoware production process, ultimately influencing the production of high-quality and sustainable products.
