This study examines the application of Immanuel Kant's ethical principles in the use of autonomous technology based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the academic domain. AI technology has significantly impacted academic efficiency and innovation but has also raised serious ethical challenges, such as algorithmic bias, dependency on technology, and threats to privacy and transparency. Using a Kantian ethical approach, this research identifies key issues and proposes an ethical framework that places justice, transparency, and respect for human dignity at the core of the design and implementation of autonomous technologies. The findings indicate that algorithmic bias can exacerbate academic inequities, while excessive reliance on AI risks diminishing the critical and creative capabilities of academics. Additionally, privacy and accountability in the management of academic data emerge as major concerns requiring ethically grounded policy interventions. This study also highlights the need for a new paradigm ensuring that autonomous technologies uphold humanistic values in academic settings, such as inclusivity, intellectual autonomy, and justice.

This study aims to explore and analyze the values of the integration of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) with science in learning in Senior High Schools (SMA) in the Riau Islands. In the era of globalization and rapid technological advances, it is important for education to integrate religious knowledge and science in order to create students who are not only intellectually intelligent but also have strong characters. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive with a case study method involving in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies in several high schools in the Riau Islands. This study found that despite major challenges in terms of limited infrastructure, human resources, and access to technology, the integration of PAI and science can enrich students' understanding of the relationship between religion and science. By integrating science into Islamic teachings, students not only learn scientific knowledge but are also trained to think critically in the context of religion and morals. On the other hand, geographical challenges and limited facilities in the Riau Islands cause gaps in the implementation of this integration. Therefore, this study suggests the need for more adaptive learning strategies, improved teacher training, and the use of mobile technology to overcome these challenges. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a more inclusive and relevant education curriculum, especially in remote areas such as the Riau Islands.

Bankruptcy as a debt settlement mechanism in Indonesia has a significant impact on all debtors' assets, including intellectual property rights such as trademarks. In practice, many companies have licensed trademarks to third parties before being declared bankrupt, resulting in legal uncertainty regarding the validity of the license agreement and protection for the licensee. This study aims to examine the implications of bankruptcy on the validity of trademark licenses and analyze the legal position of licensees according to the Bankruptcy Law. The research method used is normative juridical with statutory and conceptual approaches, as well as qualitative analysis of primary and secondary legal materials. The results show that the rights to the licensed trademark remain part of the bankruptcy estate and are under the management of the curator. The license agreement can be continued if it benefits the bankruptcy estate, but can be terminated by the curator if it is considered burdensome. The legal position of the licensee is highly dependent on the recording of the agreement at the DJKI and the policy of the curator. The implications of this research emphasize the need for clearer regulations to provide legal certainty and balanced protection for all parties involved in bankruptcy.

Qur’anic literacy plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character in Islamic educational institutions, particularly at TPQ and RTQ. This study aims to analyze how Qur’anic literacy contributes to strengthening children’s moral, spiritual, and social values in both formal and non-formal educational contexts. Employing a qualitative approach through an extensive literature review, the research synthesizes findings from previous studies on Qur’an-based character education, emphasizing the multidimensional nature of literacy that goes beyond reading and memorization. Qur’anic literacy encompasses understanding, internalizing, and applying Qur’anic teachings in daily behavior and decision-making processes. The results indicate that several interrelated factors influence this process, including habituation through regular practice, exemplary role models provided by parents, teachers, and community leaders, as well as the role of the social environment in reinforcing values. Furthermore, constructive implementation of rewards and sanctions is found to be effective in sustaining children’s motivation and discipline. Early habituation of reading, memorizing, and reflecting on the Qur’an has been proven to nurture positive traits such as responsibility, honesty, empathy, and social awareness. The study highlights that Qur’anic literacy is not only a pedagogical tool but also a holistic instrument of character formation that aligns spiritual values with modern educational challenges. These findings affirm the necessity of optimizing Qur’anic literacy programs through synergy among families, schools, and communities, ensuring that children grow into religious, virtuous, and resilient individuals. Ultimately, Qur’anic literacy serves as a foundation for building a generation that is intellectually capable, spiritually grounded, and socially responsible in contributing positively to society and addressing global challenges.
