This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of West Sumatra Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 45 employees using a census technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results show that leadership style and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. In addition, leadership style and work motivation also have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, organizational commitment does not have a significant effect on employee performance and is unable to mediate the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance. These findings indicate that improving employee performance in public sector organizations is more effective through directly strengthening leadership style and work motivation. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions in the development of public sector human resource management studies and become practical considerations for organizational leaders in formulating human resource management policies oriented towards improving apparatus performance.

The research background is based on operational phenomena such as high work intensity, consumer complaints regarding service accuracy, and pre-survey results indicating that Work Life Balance and Work Discipline are dominant factors affecting productivity. This study uses a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. The research population consisted of 34 employees, all of whom were used as samples through total sampling technique. Instruments in the form of questionnaires were tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that: (1) Partially, Work Life Balance (X1) has a regression coefficient of 0.801 > 0.3388, so H1 is accepted; Work Discipline (X2) has a regression coefficient of 0.862 > 0.3388, so H2 is accepted. (2) Simultaneously, Work Life Balance does not have a significant effect on productivity because the Work Discipline variable is more dominant, with a regression coefficient (b1) of 0.125, t-value of 0.591, and significance of 0.559. Meanwhile, Work Discipline has a stronger influence with a regression coefficient (b2) of 0.749, t-value of 3.543, and significance of 0.001. Overall, this study confirms that improving Work Life Balance and especially Work Discipline is an important strategy for increasing employee productivity at Seblak Bageur Bandung.

This study examines the factors influencing the phenomenon of quiet quitting in the context of contemporary organizations by reviewing empirical evidence published between 2021–2024. Quiet quitting refers to the psychological withdrawal of employees who remain formally employed but consciously limit their work involvement to the minimum required by the contract without any explicit intention to quit. Although this phenomenon has been widely discussed in academic literature, much of the research still examines quiet quitting in a fragmented way, lacking a comprehensive theoretical framework. This study adopts a systematic review approach following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, analyzing eight empirical articles indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar. The findings indicate that quiet quitting is influenced by individual factors such as burnout, emotional exhaustion, reduced job satisfaction, and low work engagement. Organizational factors include psychological contract violations, low perceived organizational support, unsupportive leadership styles, excessive workload, and an exclusive work culture. The findings can be understood within the Job Demands–Resources framework, where the imbalance between work demands and organizational resources triggers disengagement. This study contributes theoretically by integrating empirical findings into a more cohesive conceptual framework and provides practical implications for human resource management aimed at improving engagement and organizational sustainability.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to examine how standard costing can be used as a tool for planning and controlling production costs in salted egg cracker micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). MSMEs need to manage their production costs effectively to increase their profitability in an era of increasingly fierce business competition. A case study was used to collect data through interviews, observations, and financial document analysis. The study shows that the implementation of standard costing has helped more accurate production cost budget planning. This makes it easier for management to compare standard costs with actual costs, which allows for effective and efficient cost control. Furthermore, the findings indicate that standard costing can serve as a benchmark and evaluation tool to improve operational effectiveness. Furthermore, this study suggests that MSMEs should incorporate a standard costing system into their financial reporting process and educate management and employees about the importance of cost control. Therefore, implementing standard costing can be a long-term strategy to keep the company operational and competitive in an increasingly competitive market.

PT. XYZ is one of the largest retail companies in Indonesia. PT. XYZ has a website-based application that functions to help employees who work in IT Support to handle operational problems. However, this website has not implemented a session management system which can affect the level of security. Therefore, a system design was created for real-time session management using Firestore, Python, and Javascript. Firestore is used as a database to store sessions and Firestore has a feature called the Firestore snapshot listener which functions to detect changes in real-time. The research method includes identifying needs, initial prototype design, prototype creation, prototype evaluation, prototype refinement, and system implementation. Black Box Testing is used as a method for testing this system, where the results are in accordance with the needs and interviews are conducted with the admin of this website to test the session management system and find out the admin's response regarding the designed session management system. The results obtained are satisfactory because security can be further improved, user experience is improved, and the company's needs can be achieved.

This study examines the influence of Work Motivation, Leadership Style, Work Commitment, and Teamwork on the Work Performance of employees at the Directorate of Security (Ditpam) of the Batam Business Agency (BP Batam). A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The population consisted of all Ditpam BP Batam employees, totaling 94 respondents, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, along with simultaneous testing (F-test) and partial testing (t-test). The results indicate that simultaneously, Work Motivation, Leadership Style, Work Commitment, and Teamwork have a significant effect on employee Work Performance, as shown by an F-count of 12.455, which exceeds the F-table value of 2.47, and a significance value of 0.001 (< 0.05). Partially, each independent variable also demonstrated a significant influence on work performance, with t-count values exceeding the critical t-table value. These findings suggest that higher motivation, effective leadership, strong work commitment, and solid teamwork play an important role in improving employee performance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of human resource management (HRM) audits in motivating employee performance at CV Cipta Alignment Constructions (CV.CLC). HRM audits serve as an evaluative and strategic tool in assessing the effectiveness of personnel functions such as recruitment, training, career development, and reward systems. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that HRM audits have a positive effect on employee motivation and performance by increasing work morale, placing employees according to competencies, and reducing turnover. Based on Resource-Based Theory (Barney, 1991), HRM audits are valuable and difficult-to-imitate strategic resources, thus supporting a company's competitive advantage. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing HRM audits continuously as part of a management strategy to improve organizational effectiveness. The implications of this study provide recommendations for companies to integrate HRM audits into strategic planning to achieve optimal and sustainable performance. In addition, this study also opens opportunities for further studies to strengthen the implementation of HRM audits in different sectors and company scales.
