Madrasahs play a strategic role in shaping the moral character of young generations amid the challenges of the digital era, particularly Generation Alpha, who grow up in an environment dominated by technology. This community service activity aims to analyze and strengthen the role of Madrasah Baitul Mu’minin in Ngemplak Village in forming the moral character (akhlaq) of Generation Alpha through a Qur’anic empowerment approach. This program employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving madrasah caregivers, teachers (ustadz and ustadzah), students, and parents. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results indicate that Madrasah Baitul Mu’minin plays a significant role in strengthening the moral character of Generation Alpha through Qur’an-based learning that emphasizes understanding and value implementation, consistent religious habituation, and exemplary behavior of educators. The Qur’anic empowerment approach proved effective in internalizing Qur’anic values and fostering moral awareness among students. Furthermore, the madrasah functions as a moral and spiritual development center that helps counterbalance the negative impacts of digital technology. These findings highlight the importance of non-formal madrasahs as adaptive bases for Islamic character education in responding to contemporary challenges.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) requires comprehensive management beyond pharmacological therapy, including sustainable lifestyle-based interventions. Yoga asana, as a form of mind–body intervention, integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices that may influence metabolic and psychosocial pathways relevant to T2DM. This article aimed to synthesize evidence regarding the physiological mechanisms, clinical effectiveness, and healthcare implementation context of yoga asana in T2DM management, as well as to discuss the role of physicians in integrating this complementary therapy, including within health tourism settings. A narrative literature review was conducted using scientific databases, focusing on publications addressing yoga asana, mind–body interventions, T2DM, and clinical integration. The findings indicate that yoga asana is associated with improved glycemic control, including reductions in fasting blood glucose, postprandial glucose, and HbA1c, alongside modulation of stress-related physiological parameters and psychological well-being. Beyond clinical outcomes, yoga asana shows potential for community-based and health tourism contexts as part of chronic disease lifestyle management. Physicians play a central role in clinical assessment, patient education, coordination with complementary therapy providers, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safe, evidence-based integration. Although current evidence suggests consistent beneficial trends, methodological heterogeneity highlights the need for more standardized and mechanistic research.

Listening skills are frequently regarded as the most challenging aspect of English language acquisition due to the complexity of the cognitive processes involved. In an orphanage environment, limited access to learning resources remains a primary obstacle to the development of this competence. This community outreach initiative aims to sharpen the listening skills of children at the Bonang Orphanage in Banjarmasin through the integration of subtitled YouTube videos and interactive repetition drill techniques. The implementation method involved 20 children selected via purposive sampling, utilizing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The intervention procedure encompassed the presentation of listening strategies, interactive discussions, and structured repetition exercises designed to build phonological automaticity. Quantitative evaluation results indicated a significant improvement, with the participants' mean score rising from 82.9 on the pretest to 86.7 on the posttest, with a maximum achievement score of 94. The discussion reveals that the use of subtitles serves as a visual scaffolding mechanism that facilitates sound-to-form mapping, while repetition drills strengthen the participants' working memory. Overall, the utilization of digital media and repetitive exercises proved effective in lowering cognitive barriers and increasing the participants' active engagement in English language learning.

The postpartum period is a critical phase with a high risk of complications, particularly perineal wound infection, especially in mothers with premature rupture of membranes (PROM). PROM increases the risk of microbial invasion into the birth canal, making infection prevention essential. Vulva hygiene is a non-pharmacological intervention that can help reduce this risk. This study aimed to evaluate the application of vulva hygiene in reducing the risk of perineal wound infection in postpartum mothers with PROM. This study used a case study design involving four postpartum mothers with PROM treated in the Wijaya Kusuma Ward of RSUD Limpung Batang in 2025. Data were collected through comprehensive nursing assessments, observation of perineal wound conditions, and evaluation of infection risk signs before and after the intervention. The results showed that regular implementation of vulva hygiene led to a reduction in infection risk signs, decreased perineal pain, and improved genital hygiene in all patients. Nursing education and assistance played a crucial role in the success of this intervention. It can be concluded that vulva hygiene is an effective nursing intervention in preventing perineal wound infection in postpartum mothers with PROM.

This meta-analysis assesses the effectiveness of mobile health (mHealth) applications in trauma management in the Middle East region, based on a systematic review of 47 empirical studies with a total of 12,486 participants published between 2015 and 2024. The quantitative synthesis results indicate that implementing mHealth has a statistically significant impact on improving trauma management, with a strong pooled effect size (g=0.78, 95% CI [0.65, 0.91], p<.001). Subgroup analyses reveal that the highest effectiveness is observed in interventions targeting Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) (g=0.86), followed by physical trauma management (g=0.74) and general psychological trauma (g=0.69). Further meta-regression findings identify the duration of application use (β=0.42, p<.001) and the level of intervention personalization (β=0.38, p<.01) as significant moderators influencing the magnitude of intervention effects. From an implementation perspective, user engagement reached 76.4%, and the retention rate was 68.2% after 6 months of use. Clinical outcome analyses demonstrate a significant reduction in PTSD scores with a mean difference of -14.6 points (p<.001) as well as a substantial improvement in quality of life (d=0.82). Comparatively, these findings extend the results of Goreis et al. (2020) and Kayrouz et al. (2018) by delineating more specifically the effectiveness of interventions in Middle Eastern populations. However, they differ from Yeager and Benight (2018) regarding the optimal duration of use. The principal contribution of this study lies in elucidating the central role of cultural adaptation, which shows a strong correlation with the effectiveness of mHealth applications (r=0.56, p<.001) in the context of trauma management in the Middle East.

The development of the service sector in Indonesia requires micro-enterprises to adopt marketing strategies that enhance service quality and strengthen business competitiveness. In the context of service-based businesses, the service marketing approach is considered relevant as it emphasizes the management of service delivery and overall customer experience. This study aims to analyze the implementation of service marketing in Erafftel, a shoe cleaning service business located in Padang City, West Sumatra. The study employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation of operational activities and in-depth interviews with the business owner to obtain comprehensive information regarding service processes, service marketing strategies, and operational practices. The findings indicate that the services provided by Erafftel reflect the main characteristics of services, namely intangibility, inseparability, variability, and perishability. Furthermore, the service marketing mix consisting of seven elements—product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence—has been implemented, although in a relatively simple and not yet fully structured manner. The people and process elements emerge as the most dominant factors influencing perceived service quality, as they are directly related to interactions between service providers and customers, while physical evidence serves as a supporting factor in building customer trust. The implications of this study suggest that strengthening the application of service marketing can contribute to improved service quality, increased customer satisfaction, and the long-term sustainability of micro service enterprises.

Regional government financial performance is a strategic indicator for assessing the success of regional autonomy implementation, particularly in managing public finances in an effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable manner. This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Government of West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) during the 2018–2022 period using a regional financial ratio analysis approach. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method utilizing secondary data obtained from the Budget Realization Reports (LRA) and the Regional Government Financial Statements (LKPD) that have been audited by the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK). The analysis is conducted by calculating regional financial ratios, including the financial independence ratio, the effectiveness ratio of Regional Original Revenue (PAD), the efficiency ratio of regional finances, the activity ratio (expenditure harmony), and the revenue growth ratio. The results indicate that the financial performance of the Government of West Nusa Tenggara Province has generally improved. The regional financial independence ratio falls within the participatory category with an average value of 57.81%, reflecting a gradual reduction in dependence on central government transfer revenues, particularly in 2022. The effectiveness ratio of PAD is categorized as moderately effective, with an average of 92.84%, although it fluctuates due to increases in revenue targets that were not fully matched by actual revenue realization. The regional financial efficiency ratio consistently remains in the efficient category, indicating the local government’s ability to control expenditures relative to revenues. Furthermore, the activity ratio analysis shows a shift in expenditure composition from operating expenditure toward capital expenditure, indicating an increased orientation toward development and long-term investment. The growth ratio reveals a significant increase in PAD in 2022, accompanied by a decline in transfer revenue growth.
