This research aims to analyze the trade-off between unemployment and inflation, as well as government policies from an Islamic perspective. Inflation and unemployment issues remain primary challenges for governments in maintaining economic stability. Unlike conventional economic perspectives that accept the trade-off between these two variables, Islamic economics offers a more integrative and holistic approach. Using a literature review method, this study analyzes various literature related to the relationship between unemployment and inflation from both conventional and Islamic economic perspectives. Research findings reveal that in conventional economics, the Phillips Curve depicts a trade-off between unemployment and inflation in the short term, though its validity is questioned in the long term. In contrast, from an Islamic economic perspective, there is no dichotomy between reducing unemployment and controlling inflation, as both can be addressed simultaneously through a just economic system aligned with Sharia principles. Islamic economics offers solutions through strengthening the real sector, profit-sharing financial systems, and implementing zakat, infaq, and waqf instruments that can create employment without generating inflationary pressures. This research provides insights into government policies that align with Sharia values in addressing current macroeconomic challenges.

This paper examines the story of King Saul seeking help from a medium in Endor as a tragic illustration of the spiritual downfall of a leader who was once chosen and anointed by God. In his distress and desperation, Saul chose a path that violated the law, marking his disconnection from God. This action not only shows a serious spiritual deviation, but also reveals the irony that a female medium becomes a means for God to deliver His judgment. It also explores Christian theological views on the practice of séances, including the moral and spiritual implications they bring. By comparing the historical and cultural background of Israel, and reviewing it from a biblical perspective, this paper emphasizes the importance of obedience to God's word and the dangers of involvement in the occult. The relevance of this story to the Christian life today serves as a reminder to remain steadfast in God's revelation and to distance ourselves from deviant spiritual practices. It also invites readers to reflect on the importance of maintaining spiritual integrity in facing the challenges of life.

This research explores the phenomenon of carok as a form of traditional violence that persists in Madurese society, particularly in Sampang Regency. Carok refers to a duel involving sharp weapons, usually carried out by men to defend their honor and dignity, which they believe has been tarnished. This study aims to identify the factors that cause carok from a criminological perspective and to analyze the efforts that have been made to address and prevent such incidents. The research employs an empirical legal method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews with local police officers, sub-district officials, village heads, and traditional leaders in Sampang District, as well as through documentation and field observations. The findings reveal that the primary causes of carok include issues related to personal honor—especially concerning a man’s wife—personal disputes, revenge, and social environments that legitimize violence as a way of resolving conflict. From a criminological standpoint, carok can be explained through social conflict theory and the concept of crime of passion. Efforts to prevent carok have included both preventive measures, such as legal education, and repressive actions by law enforcement authorities. However, these efforts have proven to be only partially effective due to the deeply rooted cultural values that continue to support carok as a traditional form of justice. Therefore, a more intensive cultural approach involving community leaders is necessary to promote peaceful conflict resolution and reduce the incidence of violence.

Forced marriage of child victims of rape is a phenomenon that places children in a position of double victimization, both as victims of sexual crimes and as subjects who lose their human rights to determine their future freely and with dignity. This research aims to examine forced marriage in the framework of sexual violence against children from the perspective of criminal law and human rights. In its approach, this research uses a normative juridical method with a statutory approach, conceptual approach, comparative approach, and case approach. The results show that forced marriage not only violates children's rights to protection from sexual violence as stipulated in Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence, but also violates the principles of non-discrimination, the best interests of the child, and the right to physical and psychological integrity as guaranteed in the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and other international human rights instruments. This research emphasizes the importance of legal recognition of forced marriage as a form of sexual violence and the need for a comprehensive policy in the handling and recovery of child victims.

This study discusses criminal liability for perpetrators of online gambling crimes based on Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE Law) from the perspective of Indonesian criminal law. The research employs a normative juridical approach with a case study method on Decision Number 628/PID.B/2023/PN Sleman. The defendant was proven to have knowingly distributed and disseminated links to online gambling sites via social media, as well as obtained financial gain from these activities. Based on the judge’s decision, the defendant was sentenced to 1 year and 8 months in prison and fined IDR 250,000,000. The results indicate that the application of Article 27 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (2) of the ITE Law is in accordance with the principles of criminal liability, including the elements of fault (mens rea) and unlawful acts (actus reus). Nevertheless, challenges remain in law enforcement against online gambling, particularly regarding sites operating abroad and the low level of public legal awareness. Indonesia's rich natural resources offer immense potential for tourism development, with various locations evolving into popular tourist destinations. Kledung Pass, with its stunning views of three mountains, is an attractive stopover for travelers heading to cities across Java. Despite its popularity, however, there is no clear technical framework for designing rest areas in such locations. This study addresses the gap by proposing a new concept that reimagines rest areas as tourist destinations, providing brief yet meaningful stops for travelers. The research conducted surveys with road users to understand their rest needs while traveling. It focused on identifying key factors influencing the need for rest from a neuroscience perspective, considering both the physiological and psychological aspects. These findings were analyzed using William Peña’s space programming theory to develop appropriate design standards. The results indicated two main factors driving the need for temporary stopovers: physical fatigue from long journeys and emotional boredom. These findings underscore the necessity for spaces that cater to both physical relaxation and mental rejuvenation, creating a more holistic rest area experience. The proposed design standards move beyond traditional rest areas, integrating recreational features to enhance user experience. The design that considers the effective zoning layout and the use of environmentally friendly materials is expected to be able to create an economically efficient rest area, while providing a positive experience that is environmentally friendly. Overall, planning non-toll rest areas with neuroarchitectural principles can create functional rest areas that support mental health, as well as strengthen Indonesia's tourism appeal through sustainable and highquality space experiences.

This research adopts a normative juridical approach, focusing on legal norms, doctrines, and principles related to the Inspectorate's responsibility in supervising problematic BUMDes management from a criminal law perspective. Supervisory planning begins with the Regional Inspectorate preparing an Annual Supervisory Work Plan (RKPT), which outlines oversight activities for the year. Internal supervision and criminal law serve different but complementary roles: the former is preventive, aiming to detect irregularities early, while the latter is repressive, addressing legal violations. The synergy between both mechanisms is essential for transparent and efficient BUMDes financial management. Strengthening the Inspectorate’s role requires improving its institutional capacity and enhancing the competence of its personnel. This includes developing technical auditing skills and a deep understanding of criminal law related to village fund misuse. Professional auditors with legal insight are crucial for early detection of fund misappropriation, thereby fostering integrity and accountability in village financial governance.

This article aims to explain the theological relationship between Israel and the Church as God's people, as discussed in biblical studies, and to relate it to the history and development of the Church in Indonesia. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this paper explores key theological concepts regarding Israel and the Church, examining how these understandings shape the Church’s mission, identity, and role. The study spans from the colonial era to the digital age, highlighting how historical and cultural contexts influence ecclesial expressions. The article argues that while the Church does not replace Israel as God's covenant people, it participates in God's redemptive plan through Christ. In the Indonesian context, the Church manifests its identity as God's chosen people by embracing local wisdom, cultural diversity, and a contextual mission. This dynamic relationship reflects the Church’s calling to live out its faith in Christ within a pluralistic society, contributing to nation-building and bearing witness to the Gospel in relevant and transformative ways.

Along with the rapid advancement of digital technology, the practice of zakat payment has also evolved, such as by making non-cash zakat payments online. Online zakat payment offers the potential to reach zakat givers and recipients more broadly, as well as to increase efficiency in the collection and distribution of zakat funds through a digital system. However, this online zakat payment system still raises debates among the public regarding the validity of its implementation and the law, which is considered unclear because the method was not found in the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Therefore, this research was conducted to examine the concept, Islamic legal review, advantages and disadvantages, as well as challenges and solutions in the application of the online non-cash zakat payment system from the perspective of Islamic law. This research uses normative legal methods in qualitative form and by conducting a literature study of literature or library materials. The findings of this research show that online non-cash zakat payments are sharia-acceptable as long as they fulfill the pillars and conditions of zakat and are carried out by official amil zakat institutions or platforms affiliated with amil zakat institutions.

Deconstruction was introduced by a French philosopher born in Algeria, Jacques Derrida. This theory challenges the centralized and rounded mode of meaning as might be desired by the text or which is deliberately made clear by the logical relationship of the text. The “unspeakable” power of the text is the logic that is trivialized or underestimated as a secondary meaning that at times endangers the structure of the text or produces ambiguous paradoxes, which will erode the reader. Deconstruction aims to dismantle the Western metaphysical tradition such as Husserlin's phenomenology, Saussurean structuralism, structuralism. Derrida's deconstruction method is better known as metaphorical deconstruction. Metaphor here is not understood as an aspect of the expressive function of language but as an essential condition of speech. Metaphor represents one way of constructing discourse and strongly influences the understanding of various texts. Deconstruction is carried out on metaphorical texts composed by the author. Deconstruction can occur in the text itself or vice versa, we who deconstruct a text. In conclusion, deconstruction can be applied in everyday life by recognizing that other people's views on a topic and perspective may have different meanings from ours.
