Stunting is a condition of chronic malnutrition due to malnutrition over a long period of time, causing growth disorders in children, meaning that the child's height is lower or shorter (does not grow strong) compared to children of the age standard. The physical and mental growth and development of children can cause developmental delays in children. The risk of disease and death as well as delays in the development of children's motor and mental abilities are closely related to developmental delays. If it is not addressed, the problem of stunting will arise, which is considered to be a result of malnutrition, a serious problem for a country, namely hampering a country's development because its human resources are of poor quality (Fauza et al., 2022). For this reason, joint efforts are urgently needed to resolve the stunting problem in Indonesia. Socialization is an effort carried out by the Kubang Jaya Community Health Center which is the first step taken to overcome the Stunting phenomenon among the community in Kepau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. This socialization was attended by PKK mothers, pregnant mothers, mothers with babies under 5 years old, as well as the KUKERTA team from Kepau Jaya Village. The delivery of socialization concerns the causes of stunting, how to overcome it, and how to avoid stunting. The benefit of this activity is providing all the information and understanding to mothers in Kepau Jaya Village. By conducting outreach activities to mothers of toddlers about the dangers of stunting and how to prevent it and creating a program to provide basic necessities to prevent stunting in children. This program can be used to overcome the stunting phenomenon that occurs in communities in Kepau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. Every parent must be aware of the dangers of stunting in children which can hinder the child's further growth and development.

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem found in toddlers, which is characterized by height that is not the same (short) as children of the same age. Therefore, Riau University KKN students aim to help and reduce or prevent stunting which can affect the process of growth and development of children, especially in Sungai Batang Village, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency. The method of implementing activities carried out during KKN in Sungai Batang Village is as follows. 1. Initial Planning Stage, holding a meeting with the head of the posyandu to request data on how many children are affected by stunting 2. Preparation Stage, namely preparation for socialization such as cleaning the place for the event and preparing the tools and materials used such as installing banners, snacks, tables, chairs, soundsystem, and others. 3. Implementation Stage, on July 25, 2023 carrying out stunting socialization the event began with the delivery of material about stunting provided by KKN students, followed by material provided by midwives. This socialization activity was carried out at the same time to establish a relationship with the village community, especially in Sungai Batang Village. The activity continued with health checks by the posyandu which is specifically for the elderly. The distribution of additional food is also a series of activities carried out by KKN students in the Stunting Prevention Socialization Program carried out by Riau University KKN students directly. The Sungai Batang village community received education about Stunting Prevention, not only that, the provision of additional food (PMT) was also carried out to support nutritional growth for children and pregnant women.

Stunting is a condition where a child's height is lower than the height according to his age, which is caused by long-term malnutrition in the first 1,000 days of life (HPK). Apart from nutritional factors, stunting is also caused by a lack of understanding among the public, especially mothers with young children, regarding the problem of stunting. The aim of this community empowerment is to prevent stunting through community participation in monthly village activities by holding posyandu for toddlers and children of pregnant women in Kota Baru village. The method of implementing the activity is community participation in posyandu activities providing vitamin A. The conclusion of this research is that the stunting prevention movement through posyandu activities by providing vitamin A to children under five and providing complementary breast milk food to pregnant women can improve the community. awareness of the importance of nutritious food for children to prevent stunting. Regarding government programs related to stunting, Kukerta University students in Riau are collaborating with the Kota Baru Village Government to continue government programs by implementing monthly programs in the form of posyandu operations as a form of the government's efforts to prevent stunting. . The results of the implementation of posyandu activities carried out by Kukerta Riau University students were two activities, posyandu for toddlers and posyandu for pregnant women. In an effort to bolster food safety awareness, the Community Service Team from the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at Poltekkes Kemenkes Kupang launched an initiative. Its goal was to educate students about the dangers associated with Food Additives, or Bahan Tambahan Pangan (BTP), per the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 33 of 2012. BTP encompasses substances not typically found in everyday food and may or may not provide nutritional value, intentionally added to various food products. The initiative's primary focus was on two hazardous additives: borax and formalin. Students were taught simple, effective methods for detecting these substances using natural ingredients like turmeric and papaya latex. This community outreach occurred in the village of Bone, Nekamese Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, and featured lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on demonstrations. The results were promising, as participants gained a deeper understanding of the hazards associated with these additives and acquired skills to identify them. This initiative empowers a safer, more informed generation of consumers, championing food safety.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a disease that is ranked 10th with the highest number of deaths. Side effects caused by Anti-Tuberculosis Drugs (OAT) are often experienced by TB patients and result in physical disorders that reduce the quality of life of TB patients. This study aims to analyze the relationship between OAT side effects and the quality of life of TB patients at the Banyuglugur Community Health Center The research design in the study used a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was all TB patients in the Banyuglugur health center working area who underwent treatment for <6 months according to the inclusion criteria in January 2022 - May 2023, totaling 40 people using the Total Sampling sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire on OAT side effects and quality of life. The analytical test used was the Spearman Rank test. The results of this study showed that the side effects of OAT in 27 TB patients (67.5%) were severe and the quality of life of 31 TB patients (77.5%) was poor. The results of the analysis show a p value of .001 (smaller than 0.05), so there is a significant linear relationship between the OAT side effect variable and the quality of life of TB patients at the Banyuglugur Community Health Center. This research shows that the side effects experienced by TB sufferers, both mild and severe, greatly affect the quality of life of TB patients. Health workers must always carry out routine monitoring of OAT side effects experienced by TB sufferers and treat them as soon as possible so that they do not affect the quality of life of TB patients in terms of physical, nutritional or psychological aspects in order to prevent them from dropping out of treatment.

East Nusa Tenggara (ENT) is a province in Indonesia with diverse flora, including the diversity of local legumes. It has been extensively explored and reported in various scientific publications, especially the types of legumes, their nutritional composition, and their uses in local communities. However, few literature studies still comprehensively review the types of legumes, their nutritional composition, and their utilization in the local community of ENT. So, this literature review aims to briefly review the diversity, chemical composition, and use of local legumes from the dry lands of ENT. Various studies reported that Glycine max, Arachis hypogaea, Vigna radiata (L.) R. Wilczek, Cajanus cajan, Vigna unguiculata, Phaseolus lunatus, Vigna umbellata, Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet, Mucuna pruriens (L.) DC, Phaseolus vulgaris L, Psopocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC, and Pueraria montana var. lobata (Willd.) Sanjappa & Pradeep nuts are commonly found in the ENT region, either cultivated by the local community or grown wild. Generally, local legumes in ENT have a relatively complete nutritional composition, which varies depending on the type of bean. The ENT's local people use local beans as a mixture of rice/corn and function as sources of protein. Future research is needed to explore the functional characteristics of each ENT local bean. In addition, it is necessary to develop formulations and other food products to utilize ENT's local legumes to diversify legume-based local food.
