The purpose of this service activity is to provide an increased understanding of the concept of noise and carbon emissions of motorized vehicles located on Golf Course Road. Traffic noise and carbon emissions are environmental problems that have an impact on public health. The method used is field observation by measuring the number of vehicles, types of vehicles, noise levels using a decibel meter, and estimating carbon emissions using an estimative approach based on the number of vehicles and the average carbon emissions of each type of vehicle. This service shows the importance of periodic monitoring of noise and air pollution as a basis for urban environmental policy making. This activity went well, so that it was able to provide an increase in the number of vehicles.

Lower back pain is a common complaint among pregnant women in the third trimester. It is estimated that approximately 70% of pregnant women experience some form of back pain during pregnancy, childbirth, or postpartum. Non-pharmacological therapies such as deep breathing relaxation techniques and effleurage massage therapy can effectively reduce pain levels in these women. This study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental research method and employs purposive sampling with a sample size of 37 participants. Data analysis includes both univariate and bivariate analyses. Most respondents (64.9%) were aged between 20 and 35 years old. Additionally, the majority (64.9%) were experiencing their first pregnancy. All respondents (100%) were confirmed to have no comorbidities. Furthermore, 73% of the participants had tertiary education (Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degrees), and 62.2% continued working during pregnancy. The results of the Wilcoxon test indicated a significant effect (p = 0.000 < 0.05), confirming that effleurage massage and deep breathing relaxation techniques effectively reduce lower back pain in pregnant women. This reduction is attributed to the stimulation of tactile fibers in the skin by effleurage massage, which inhibits pain signals. In conclusion, the findings suggest that implementing effleurage massage and deep breathing relaxation techniques is beneficial for alleviating lower back pain in pregnant women. Public health advice advocates for the application of these techniques to manage such pain effectively.

Stunting remains a significant public health challenge in Indonesia, especially in rural areas. The national stunting prevalence was recorded at 24.4% in 2021, still far above the maximum threshold of 14% set in the SDGs for 2024. To tackle this problem, the KKN-T Bela Negara Group 8 team of the National Development University "Veteran" East Java in collaboration with UPT Puskesmas Tawangsari carried out a socialization program on stunting prevention in Muteran Hamlet, Kejagan Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency on August 2, 2024. This program involved 38 participants of mothers with children under five years old and focused on three main interventions including measuring children's height, weighing children, and giving vitamin A. This activity aims to know how to prevent stunting from various aspects, knowing how to measure and weigh toddlers appropriately according to health procedures and learning how to give vitamin A to children. Through this collaborative effort, it is hoped that the prevalence of stunting in Muteran Hamlet can be significantly reduced so that it can contribute to improving the quality of human resources in the future.

Urbanization has significantly impacted air quality in cities, with vehicular emissions being a major contributor to pollution. This study explores the potential benefits of electrifying urban transportation, specifically through the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs). The findings indicate that EVs substantially reduce key pollutants such as CO₂, NOx, and PM₂.₅, improving urban air quality and mitigating climate change. The analysis shows that EV adoption can lead to a 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions in high EV adoption scenarios (70% EVs). Additionally, EVs are more energy-efficient than conventional vehicles, consuming significantly less energy per kilometer. This transition not only reduces dependence on fossil fuels but also supports sustainable urban development. Furthermore, the study highlights the public health benefits of electrification, with reduced levels of harmful pollutants leading to lower incidences of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Public health surveys reveal strong support for EV adoption, with respondents believing it would significantly improve air quality and health outcomes. In conclusion, the electrification of urban transportation presents a multifaceted approach to environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, and public health improvement.

Urban drainage systems face mounting pressure due to the combined impacts of rapid urbanization and climate change. The expansion of impervious surfaces and altered precipitation patterns contribute to increased stormwater runoff, exacerbating flood risks and water quality issues in cities. Traditional drainage systems, focused primarily on controlling water volume, are insufficient to address the growing complexity of urban drainage challenges. This study proposes Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) that integrate flood management, water quality improvement, and climate resilience. By incorporating nature-based solutions such as permeable pavements, green roofs, and rain gardens, these systems aim to reduce runoff, enhance groundwater recharge, and mitigate the negative effects of urbanization. Through a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) framework, this research evaluates various drainage solutions based on technical, socio-economic, and environmental criteria. The findings indicate that SUDS outperforms traditional systems in flood mitigation, water quality control, and climate resilience, highlighting their importance in adapting to changing climatic conditions. This paper emphasizes the need for sustainable drainage solutions to ensure long-term urban resilience and improve the overall quality of urban environments.

The Job Creation Law contains various changes to the Environmental Protection and Management Law, one of which is the public's right to access environmental information. This can be seen in Article 22 of the Job Creation Law which amends Article 26 paragraph (2) of the Environmental Protection and Management Law, which stipulates that the public, especially environmental observers, must be involved in every activity carried out by business actors or activities, by providing open and complete information before the activity is carried out. The concept of Business Licensing in the environmental sector regulated in the Environmental Protection and Management Law using a permit-based approach has been changed to the application of standards and risk-based in Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation, this means that the granting of permits will be carried out by the central government based on calculations of the level of danger and the potential value of danger to aspects of health, safety, the environment and/or utilization of resources. In addition, there is also the loss of participation of the affected community in all forms of decisions in the Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL) process which previously involved potentially affected communities, now only involving directly affected communities.

Health screening revealed a tendency for high cholesterol levels, as well as some cases of blood sugar and uric acid levels exceeding normal limits among the residents. Analysis of local snacks did not show any contamination with borax and formalin, indicating food safety awareness among vendors. Meanwhile, marine biota exploration found the potential of seagrass (Cymodocea serrulata) with alkaloid content that can be further developed. These findings highlight the importance of continuous education, targeted health interventions, and the utilization of local natural resources to improve the quality of life of Pramuka Island residents.
