This research explores the role of the film Dilan 1990 in shaping the tourism imagination of Bandung through the interaction of its main characters and the representation of urban space within the narrative. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with semiotic analysis and cultural representation theory, the research examines how visual and narrative elements in the film influence audience perceptions of Bandung as a cultural and nostalgic tourist destination. The findings reveal that Dilan 1990 successfully reconstructs collective memory of 1990s Bandung through cultural symbols, youth communication styles, and the depiction of urban spaces such as schools, streets, and city landmarks like Gedung Merdeka and Jalan Asia Afrika. The interpersonal communication between Dilan and Milea enhances the emotional depth and appeal of these urban settings, embedding them within a romantic narrative that resonates with viewers. This representation fosters an emotional connection between the audience and the locations portrayed, contributing to the emergence of film-induced tourism. The study concludes that film can serve as an effective medium for promoting cultural tourism, while also emphasizing the importance of interpersonal communication in enhancing tourism appeal through emotional and symbolic engagement.

This study investigates how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming Islamic journalism and digital da’wah by analyzing the ethical challenges posed by algorithmically mediated media. Employing a critical-interpretive approach, the research examines how algorithmic logic impacts the production, visibility, and ethical dimensions of Islamic content on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. The findings reveal a growing tension between Islamic communication principles—sidq (truth), amanah (trust), and hikmah (wisdom)—and the operational values of AI systems that prioritize virality, personalization, and engagement metrics. This paper contributes to global discourse by proposing a hybrid ethical framework that bridges Islamic communication ethics with digital media accountability. It argues for an integrative model where spiritual integrity, transparency, and justice guide the development and use of AI in Islamic media contexts.

In the digital era, government public communications face complex new challenges, particularly in building positive public perceptions of government performance. Digital transformation has changed patterns of interaction between the government and the public, creating an increasingly critical, connected, and participatory society. The primary issue in this research is the effectiveness of government Public Relations (PR) digital communication strategies in responding to the dynamics of this digital society. The research focuses on how innovations in government PR communication content influence public perceptions in the context of digital public communications. This research uses a Rapid Review approach, analyzing nine relevant scientific articles published in 2025 and applying the ADO(Antecedent–Decision–Outcome) framework. Three main theories serve as the basis for the analysis: Government Communication Theory, Image Management Theory, and Digital Public Participation Theory. The findings indicate that the success of government public communications in the digital era is significantly influenced by three main factors: first, innovative, creative and interactive content that attracts attention and builds engagement; second, a two-way communication strategy that adapts to public feedback; and third, consistency in shaping and maintaining a positive and credible digital narrative. Furthermore, this research reveals that participatory and open digital communication can increase public trust, reduce disinformation, and strengthen the legitimacy of government institutions. Thus, this research provides a practical contribution to the development of public communication strategies that are more participatory, inclusive, and responsive to the dynamics of the digital era. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for government communication practitioners in designing effective and relevant public communication policies amidst the rapid and competitive flow of information.

The heirs' clause in the credit agreement raises legal problems because it concerns the attachment of third parties. This study aims to analyze the inclusion of heirs' clauses based on privity of contract and its legal implications for legal protection for creditors and heirs. Normative juridical method has used with regulatory and conceptual approach. The results shown that the heir's attachment clause in a credit agreement does not necessarily bind the heirs automatically because the privity of contract limits the engagement only to the parties who made the agreement. This is based on the existence of the principle of saisine in Civil Law and the principle of ijbari in Islamic Law where the heir automatically becomes the owner of the heir's legacy. However, the attachment that arises is only limited to the management of heritage property before it is distributed as inheritance. The applicability of the clause must also take into account whether there is an inheritance by the heirs, because the liability for the heir's debts only arises if the inheritance is received. If the inheritance is rejected, the creditor cannot impose payment obligations on the heirs even though there is an attachment clause. On the other hand, Islamic Law has emphasized that inheritance received by heirs is only inheritance that has been reduced by burdens, including the heir's debt. Therefore, the inclusion of the heir's clause is only a notification that reminds the heirs that there are still unfulfilled heirs' obligations, namely debts.
