Responsive public service plays a crucial role in building public trust in police institutions, particularly in handling citizen complaints. This study aims to examine the responsiveness level of Mojokerto Police Resort in managing public complaints and the factors influencing it. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection methods such as in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document studies. Participants include officers from the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT), Women and Children Service Unit (PPA), community members who have filed complaints, as well as community leaders and NGOs involved in overseeing public services. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman’s model, which includes data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal a varied level of awareness among the community regarding complaint channels, as well as differences in ease of access. Physical channels such as suggestion boxes and direct reporting at police stations are more familiar and accessible but face challenges related to communication effectiveness and evidence collection. Meanwhile, online platforms like social media and the official website are less recognized by the public, compounded by limited digital literacy and internet access in certain areas. Furthermore, the complaint handling process needs to be straightforward, transparent, and professional to ensure that the community feels respected and confident in the service. Factors affecting responsiveness include response speed, ease of access across multiple channels, and the professionalism of officers handling cases. Perceptions of transparency and openness in procedures also significantly influence community trust. Strategically, Mojokerto Police Resort has made efforts to develop digital complaint systems and enhance staff capabilities. However, further improvements are necessary in community education and awareness programs to increase familiarity and confidence in digital channels. The significance of high responsiveness is reflected in its strategic benefits, such as early identification of security disturbances, strengthening police legitimacy, and improving overall public service quality. Effective responsiveness fosters better relationships between officers and the community, enhances trust, and contributes to a safer and more orderly environment. Therefore, adopting modern, innovative, and technology-based complaint systems should be prioritized to reform police services. Overall, the responsiveness of Mojokerto Police Resort’s complaint handling system serves as a key indicator for the success of quality and equitable public services. By improving officer professionalism, infrastructure, and community outreach, it is expected that Mojokerto Police can enhance responsiveness, reinforce community trust, and deliver excellent, transparent, and accountable services. Such efforts not only improve the police institution’s reputation but also strengthen democratic foundations and social justice in the Mojokerto region.

This research aims to examine the impact of thrifting on the economic condition of clothing traders in Pasar Lasoani, to identify the factors that make thrifting a threat to these traders, to find solutions that traders can implement in facing competition with thrifted products, and to understand the Islamic economic perspective on thrifting practices in Pasar Lasoani. This study uses a qualitative research method, which is intended to describe and explain events or phenomena occurring in the field and to present data systematically, factually, and accurately regarding the facts or phenomena observed. The data for this study were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The thrifting phenomenon has had a significant impact on the economy of clothing traders in Pasar Lasoani. On the positive side, this trend has increased income for traders who sell thrifted items due to their affordable prices and attractive variety. However, on the negative side, thrifting reduces the competitiveness of new and local clothing traders, thereby creating economic imbalances in the market. The increase in secondhand clothing imports is also perceived as a threat to the demand for new products, especially due to the strong interest of young consumers in branded clothes at low prices. To improve competitiveness, new clothing traders need to implement strategies such as price adjustments, product quality improvement, utilization of digital marketing, and consumer education on the advantages of new clothing. From an Islamic economic perspective, the practice of thrifting is permissible as long as it fulfills the pillars and legal conditions of buying and selling, namely clarity of the product, mutual agreement on price, and absence of excessive gharar (uncertainty). According to the school of Imam Malik, this practice is valid if the existing gharar is minor, unavoidable, and conducted with honesty, fairness, and transparency. Therefore, thrifting transactions in Pasar Lasoani can be considered in line with the principles of sharia.

Employee performance represents the ability to fulfill tasks and responsibilities according to organizational standards. At UPTD Puskesmas Kosambi, the evaluation of Non-Civil Servant (Non-ASN) healthcare workers is still done manually and tends to be subjective, primarily based on attendance. This study aims to address the issue by developing a decision support system using the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis) method. A descriptive-applied approach and the waterfall development model were employed. Five evaluation criteria were used: attendance (25%), service quality (35%), report timeliness (20%), patient complaints (10%), and lateness (10%). Data from 20 Non-ASN healthcare workers in April 2025 were analyzed, with Anis Julianti achieving the highest MOORA score of 0.3839. The system underwent validation through black-box testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), both confirming its accuracy and usability. The findings were compared with previous studies. Harningsih et al. (2024) used the MOORA method for promotion evaluations at the North Sumatra Provincial Inspectorate Office and recorded a top score of 0.3616. Dewi Yohana br Ginting et al. (2024) applied the method at a beauty clinic and found a top score of 0.3747. These comparisons indicate that the MOORA results in this study fall within a consistent and valid range. This study uses the Mean Value Analysis (MVA) approach to analyze the queuing system at the Mixue Ice Cream & Tea cashier counter on Jalan Pahlawan in Magelang City. The MVA method was chosen because it can handle general time distributions between arrivals and services. The research was conducted through direct observation and interviews over the course of two days, during which time data was collected on the time between arrivals and customer service. The analysis revealed that the system was not in a steady state, as the arrival rate (0.0122 customers per second) exceeded the service rate (0.0111 customers per second). High service variability (CV = 276.30%) compared to arrival variability (CV = 69.46%) indicates service instability. On average, customers waited 47.08 seconds, and the total time in the system was 137.17 seconds. These results are important because they indicate the need for increased efficiency and standardized services to prevent a decrease in service quality.
