Drug storage is not only carried out in health facilities but can also be done independently by the community that consumes drugs, either as an emergency supply or leftover medication from previous use. Drug storage is often done without paying attention to the condition after the packaging is opened or understanding the drug's usage limit/Beyond Use Date (BUD). The community generally only looks at the expiration date/Expired Date (ED) on the drug packaging as a reference for safe drug use, and does not understand the safe usage limit for drugs after the primary packaging is opened. The purpose of this community service is to evaluate the community's knowledge and practices regarding the implementation of BUD/ED, as well as to provide education. This community service was carried out with an educational approach involving 21 people in Rejosari Village. This activity was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the community about the knowledge and practice of BUD/ED daily, then continued with the delivery of education using posters. The results of this activity indicate that the community has good knowledge of ED and BUD, but has not yet implemented ED and BUD in the storage and use of drugs independently.

In high-performance computing (HPC) environments, the need to balance memory efficiency and query performance is crucial for ensuring optimal system performance. Traditional data structures, such as B-trees and hash tables, often prioritize either memory usage or query speed, leading to suboptimal performance in memory-constrained systems. This paper proposes a hybrid data structure that combines the strengths of multiple traditional data structures to optimize both memory usage and query processing speed. The proposed hybrid structure integrates cache-conscious algorithms, dynamic memory allocation, and compression techniques for intermediate query results. The approach is evaluated through extensive benchmarking tests comparing it to standard data structures like B-trees and hash tables under various workloads. Results show that the hybrid data structure reduces memory overhead by up to 30% while maintaining query processing speeds up to 1.5 times faster than conventional methods. Furthermore, the hybrid structure demonstrates robust performance across different types of queries, including both point and range queries, ensuring versatility and efficiency. The findings indicate that this hybrid approach provides a promising solution for HPC systems, where both memory efficiency and query speed are essential. Future research can explore extending the hybrid structure to distributed systems and emerging technologies, further improving its scalability and adaptability to new computational paradigms.

This sociolinguistic study examines patterns of regional language interference in formal Indonesian usage across bilingual areas of Indonesia. Through a mixed-methods approach, this research analyzes oral and written data from 240 participants across three strategic bilingual regions: Javanese-Indonesian, Sundanese-Indonesian, and Batak-Indonesian. Data were collected through structured interviews, ethnographic observations, and corpus analysis of formal documents. Quantitative analysis employed linguistic corpus software to identify frequency patterns and interference distribution, while qualitative analysis applied ethnography of communication approaches to understand social contexts and functions of interference in communicative interactions. Findings reveal systematic interference typologies that vary according to linguistic domains. Phonological interference demonstrates the highest resistance to formal register constraints (78% consistency), with Batak-Indonesian speakers showing the highest interference rates (85%), followed by Javanese-Indonesian (74%), and Sundanese-Indonesian (71%). Lexical interference occurs in 65% of samples with significant variation based on communication domains, where Sundanese-Indonesian shows the highest rates (72%). Morphological interference is found in 52% of cases, particularly in affixation and reduplication systems. Syntactic interference shows the highest sensitivity to situational formality, decreasing from 45% in semi-formal communication to 28% in strict formal contexts. Research implications indicate the need for reorienting language policy from corrective approaches toward recognizing interference productivity. Language policies should develop flexible standards that accommodate regional variations and promote positive attitudes toward multilingualism. In educational contexts, integration of contrastive approaches in Indonesian language learning is required, along with development of instructional materials sensitive to students' linguistic backgrounds, and teacher training on managing productive versus corrective interference. This research contributes to Indonesian sociolinguistics through providing comprehensive empirical databases, developing innovative theoretical frameworks, and replicable methodologies for language contact analysis. Findings confirm that regional language interference in formal Indonesian constitutes a productive phenomenon reflecting Indonesia's multilingual vitality. Approaches that recognize productive aspects of interference while optimizing formal communication effectiveness become key to developing language strategies responsive to contemporary multilingual Indonesian realities.

Acne vulgaris (AV) is a common dermatological condition affecting adolescents and young adults, with multifactorial causes including hormonal influences, increased follicular keratinization, excessive sebum production, and colonization by Cutibacterium acnes. External factors, particularly skincare behavior, are also considered to play an important role. The use of skincare products that are unsuitable for skin type or contain comedogenic ingredients such as mineral oil, lanolin, and certain silicones may clog pores and exacerbate acne. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between skincare product selection and usage behavior, types of skincare products used, and frequency of use with the occurrence of acne vulgaris among female medical students of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, cohorts 2022–2024. An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained from the student directory. A total of 90 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-square test. The results showed a significant association between skincare product selection and usage behavior and the occurrence of acne vulgaris (p = 0.043), as well as between the type of skincare products used and acne incidence (p < 0.001). However, no significant relationship was found between the frequency of skincare product use and acne vulgaris (p = 0.116).
