This study aims to examine the role of leaders in group counseling dynamics through a literature review approach. In group guidance practices, leaders serve not only as technical facilitators but also as catalysts who shape healthy and productive interaction structures. The literature review reveals that leadership effectiveness is strongly influenced by interpersonal competence, the guidance strategies employed, and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of group members. Techniques such as sociodrama and reflection, along with approaches like Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC), have been proven to significantly enhance group dynamics. Additionally, ongoing training is a strategic measure to strengthen leaders’ capacity in managing groups effectively. Therefore, adaptive, empathetic, and reflective leaders play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and transformative group climate.

The development of information and communication technology has brought significant changes in the world of education, encouraging educational institutions to adopt more innovative and relevant learning methods. This article discusses the implementation of Canva graphic design application training at Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru, which aims to improve the creativity and digital skills of grade XII IPA students. This activity was carried out through an interactive theoretical and practical approach, allowing students to not only learn about graphic design, but also apply that knowledge in real projects. The results of the training showed high enthusiasm from students, as well as significant improvements in their technical abilities and creativity. Evaluation of student design work indicated that the hands-on learning method was effective in improving digital literacy. These findings provide important insights into the potential of technology in creating a dynamic and innovative learning environment, and can be a reference for other community service programs aimed at improving digital competence in education.

The rapid penetration of mobile devices among students has created significant opportunities to optimize mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) for enhancing language acquisition in digital environments. Despite its potential, the implementation of MALL often remains suboptimal due to technical limitations, lack of pedagogical planning, and insufficient integration of interactive features, which limits its effectiveness in supporting structured learning. This study aims to examine how MALL applications influence student engagement, self-regulation, and language learning outcomes, while addressing the gap between technological affordances and instructional practices. Employing a mixed-methods design, the research integrates quantitative surveys, learning analytics, and qualitative interviews with higher education students who regularly use mobile applications for language learning. The methodology includes pre- and post-surveys to measure changes in engagement and self-regulation, log data to track usage patterns, and interviews to capture students’ perceptions and experiences. The findings reveal that MALL significantly enhances engagement through increased active participation, higher attendance, longer study duration, and more frequent interaction with materials. At the same time, MALL improves self-regulation by strengthening skills in time management, goal setting, monitoring progress, and maintaining persistence, leading to greater learner autonomy. Moreover, students with stronger self-regulation capacities were found to utilize MALL features more effectively, resulting in measurable improvements in vocabulary, grammar, and communicative competence. The study concludes that MALL’s effectiveness lies not only in delivering learning content but also in fostering engagement and supporting self-regulated learning. These results highlight the need for pedagogical designs that integrate technological interactivity with scaffolding strategies to maximize the potential of MALL as a learner-centered and sustainable approach to language learning in the digital era.

The use of information and communication technology (ICT) in procurement services is one of the efforts to realize good governance. The electronic procurement system is present by simplifying the stages of the procurement process, the vendor search stage, price comparison from each vendor, approval, monitoring, billing, to payment, all of which are done digitally. Thus, it is hoped that procurement activities for goods/services will be carried out with good procurement principles, namely effective, efficient, transparent, open, competitive, fair, and accountable. This study aims to analyze the implementation of an electronic-based procurement system for goods/services at the Aceh Industry and Trade Service and the obstacles faced in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that although the electronic-based procurement system can increase the transparency and efficiency of the procurement process, its implementation still faces challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and lack of technical competence of human resources. The implications of these findings indicate the need to increase human resource capacity and strengthen ICT infrastructure to support more optimal implementation.

This study aims to analyze the role of MGMPS in improving teachers' pedagogical and professional competencies at UPT SMPN Garaupa No. 13 Selayar Islands. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were supervisors, principals, MGMPS leaders, and 3 Integrated Social Studies teachers. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation, and documentation while the data analysis techniques used included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that the School Level Subject Teacher Conference (MGMPS) at UPT SMPN Garaupa No. 13 Selayar Islands has an important role in improving teachers' pedagogical and professional competencies. Through this forum, teachers gain a better understanding of the curriculum, improve their teaching skills and share knowledge through collaborative learning. MGMPS also introduces innovative learning methods and supports the mastery of teaching strategies that suit students' needs. Barriers such as limited resources, low teacher participation and difficulties in program planning are overcome with resource support, increased motivation and relevant mentoring. Other solutions include external collaboration for training, strategies to increase participation and technical support in curriculum planning. These efforts are expected to increase the effectiveness of MGMPS in developing teachers' competencies on an ongoing basis..

This study used a descriptive qualitative method, with the principal, vocational studies teacher as well as the deputy head of student affairs, administrative staff and students of SMK Cerdas Murni as the research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. Then it was analyzed using Farida Nugrahani's Interactive Analysis Model (2014: 173), and tested for validity using the triangulation method. The results showed that the performance of administrative staff in providing student administration services, and correspondence and archival administration at SMK Cerdas Murni was considered quite good. This is evident from the timely completion of tasks, the existence of discipline, a sense of responsibility, the ability to cooperate and communicate well. Supporting factors for performance are the ability of administrative staff, reward and punishment, facilities and work atmosphere, and good relationships with coworkers and superiors. Conversely, the inhibiting factors are the lack of technical competence and damage to work tools. And the steps in streamlining administrative services at SMK Cerdas Murni are, hastening the completion of tasks, conducting discussions with the principal and teachers, attending workshops to improve competence and keep up with existing developments.

This study aims to analyze the role of forensic audit, investigative audit, auditor competence, spiritual intelligence, and information technology in detecting fraud. Using a qualitative method with a literature review, the results showed that forensic auditing is effective in detecting and proving fraud through investigative techniques, while investigative auditing focuses on identifying modus operandi and collecting evidence. Auditor competence, which includes technical expertise, accounting, and legal understanding, is critical to uncovering fraud. Spiritual intelligence helps auditors maintain integrity, while information technology supports fraud detection through data management systems and audit software. Synergy between all these factors is necessary to improve fraud detection and prevent further losses to the company. This research is expected to contribute to the development of more effective audit methods to reduce the risk of fraud.

This study aims to explore the role of school principals in enhancing teacher performance through the utilization of the Platform Merdeka Mengajar, a digital tool introduced by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The research was conducted at SMP N 4 Jombang, employing a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of how principals support teachers in using this platform effectively. Data were collected through interviews with principals and teachers, as well as classroom observations. The findings indicate that the principal’s leadership, underpinned by managerial competencies such as planning, organizing, supervising, and human resource development, plays a critical role in facilitating the integration of technology into teaching practices. Principals provided technical support, organized training sessions, motivated teachers, and created a collaborative environment to enhance the use of the platform. Additionally, the study found that the Platform Merdeka Mengajar positively impacted teacher creativity and the quality of learning interactions. However, the study also highlights challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure and the varying levels of digital literacy among teachers. The results underscore the importance of strong leadership in educational technology implementation and offer insights into effective strategies for enhancing teacher performance through digital platforms. The study also identifies limitations related to its sample size and scope and suggests avenues for future research on long-term impacts and the role of external factors in educational technology adoption.

This community service activity aims to integrate theory and practice through the construction of simple shelters by the academic community of the Vocational Program at Gorontalo State University. The activity is motivated by the need to improve the technical competence and social skills of building architecture students. The method used is participatory action learning, involving students and faculty members from planning to evaluation. The activities include group division, case studies at brick and block factories, construction of the lower, middle, and upper structures, and final assessment. The results showed that 70% of students mastered construction skills in accordance with simple building standards, with the final product being a functional shelter. The main challenges faced were team coordination and time management. Discussions confirmed that this model is effective in enhancing technical skills, teamwork, and understanding of sustainable construction, and is worth replicating in other vocational programs. The shelter construction also provided an opportunity to reflect on real-world applications of architectural theory, while addressing pressing community needs. Through active participation, students gained firsthand knowledge in applying design concepts and construction techniques that are crucial to the construction industry. Furthermore, the activity demonstrated the potential for developing students' abilities to apply architectural concepts that are not only relevant to academic requirements but also to practical, community-based construction needs. The project also emphasized the importance of sustainable building practices, focusing on materials and methods that minimize environmental impact. The construction of the shelter not only provided practical experience but also enriched students' knowledge in creating environmentally friendly and sustainable construction solutions.

Literacy is very important for students because literacy skills will affect the success of their learning and their lives. Good literacy skills will help students understand oral, written and visual texts. oral, written, and pictorial/visual texts, therefore, the development of literacy in literacy in learning is always carried out in an integrated manner between listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. This is because the four skills have a very close relationship, although each has certain characteristics. One way that can be do to improve teacher competence in building a Literacy Culture in Madrasahs is through Technical Guidance with the Method of Direct Guidance. Bimtek is an activity that is intended to provide assistance which is generally in the form of advice and guidance and guidance to solve problems / problems that are technical in nature. From the results of research conducted on teachers at MTsN 1 Siak, namely as follows: Organizing Technical Guidance with the Direct Guidance Method can improve teacher competence in building a culture of Literacy in Madrasahs at MTsN 1 Siak in the 2023/2024 academic year. This This is indicated by the score of the observation of the teacher which continues to increase from cycle 1 to cycle 3. Habituation programs and teacher training are efforts to improve the quality of education in building a school environment with character. Improving the quality of education continues to experience changes and developments along with advances in time and technology. This research analyzes efforts to improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 9 Bandung through optimizing teacher training programs and student habituation. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews and observations. This research aims to describe a strategy, implementation and also the results of a program to improve the quality of education at the junior high school level. The teacher training program is designed to improve teachers' technical competence and soft skills, especially in the use of learning technology. This aims to improve the quality of teaching and adapt to technological developments. Meanwhile, the student habituation program focuses on character building, such as literacy, environmental cleanliness, sports and religious activities, to foster discipline and a sense of caring. Schools also utilize technology in learning, such as using projectors and smartphones to support computer-based interactions and assessments. Apart from that, collaboration with the community and parents of students is also very important in supporting educational activities, including providing a budget for the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project activities. This holistic approach creates a conducive and quality learning environment, which has a positive impact on educational outcomes and the achievement of national education goals.

Training on the use of Zenodo as a personal repository for lecturers is a strategic initiative to increase the productivity and visibility of scientific works. Zenodo offers an open-source platform that enables publication management with features such as DOI and structured metadata, which are essential to support global citations and recognition. However, many lecturers do not understand the importance of using these private repositories, especially regarding the role of DOIs and metadata in strengthening their academic impact. For this reason, this training is designed with a comprehensive method, starting with the creation of training modules, publication in the academic community, and online implementation via Zoom. A hands-on lab approach  is used to ensure participants understand and practice Zenodo management firsthand. The results of the training held in July 2024 showed a very high level of satisfaction, with 90% of participants feeling very satisfied and the rest satisfied. Participants came from various regions in Indonesia, including lecturers, library staff, and LPPM staff, who were interested in using Zenodo for institutional needs. The discussion revealed that most lecturers still have a minimal understanding of the importance of DOI and metadata, as well as how personal repositories can support the management of academic positions. This training provides new awareness of the importance of managing scientific works that are integrated with digital technology. In conclusion, Zenodo training has a positive impact on building technical and strategic understanding of lecturers, although further training is still needed to delve into metadata management and Zenodo optimization at the institutional level. With the right approach, this training not only improves individual competence, but also strengthens the academic competitiveness of the institution at the global level.

This research aims to analyze women's empowerment strategies to improve the quality of female journalists within the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI). Even though the role of women in journalism has increased, significant challenges are still faced in efforts to improve the quality and competence of female journalists. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, which involves in-depth interviews with female journalists, Head of PWI DKI Jakarta, and women's empowerment experts and document analysis related to existing training and development programs. The research results show that empowering women through technical training programs, seminars, and mentoring has proven effective in improving the journalistic skills of female journalists. In addition, support from PWI DKI Jakarta in the form of professional networks, publication opportunities, and access to information resources greatly contributes to the career development of female journalists. However, gender stereotypes and lack of representation in managerial positions remain significant obstacles. The research recommends developing empowerment programs that are more focused on specific aspects such as leadership and media management and expanding the range of support to overcome existing obstacles. With a more comprehensive approach, it is hoped that the quality of female journalists can continue to be improved so that their contribution to the world of journalism can be maximized and positively impact society.

The village is one of the jurisdictions of the legal community which has the boundaries of the territory authorized to regulate and administer government affairs. In this case the role of village government is very important because it concerns the service to the community. The maximum productivity of the village apparatus is one of the things that makes the government's goal achievable. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, conducting direct interviews with Kebumen Village officials and the people in that village. Based on research and analysis of performance indicators quality of work and quantity of work of the Kebumen Village Apparatus in carrying out their duties is considered not optimal, especially when there are still violations of work discipline, the violations related to working hours. Some factors inhibiting the performance of village apparatus in the form of a lack of number of village apparatus and a lack of development quality of human resources in Kebumen Village Apparatuses. It is necessary to make efforts to develop human resources for Kebumen Village Apparatuses to improve technical, theoretical and work discipline capabilities to improve apparatus performance Kebumen village.

This study aims to explore the potential application of artificial intelligence (AI) in financial accounting, especially in the financial reporting process. AI has the ability to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation in financial data processing, as well as provide real-time information that supports strategic decision making. The research method used is a qualitative approach through literature studies and secondary data analysis from various relevant previous studies. The results of the study indicate that the application of AI in accounting can improve the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process, while reducing human error. However, ethical and technical challenges such as data privacy and transparency in the use of AI are major concerns that must be addressed. The suggestions given in this study are the importance of improving the competence of accountants in the use of AI technology, implementing strict regulations to maintain data security and privacy, and continuous monitoring and evaluation of the use of AI in accounting. By utilizing AI optimally and responsibly, companies can gain great benefits in financial reporting while overcoming existing challenges.

This study explores the unique characteristics of Marine Engineering English, a specialized form of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) used in ship machinery operations. Focusing on technical terminology, idiomatic expressions, and their functional roles, the research aims to identify how Marine Engineering English facilitates clear and efficient communication in marine engineering contexts. Data were collected from marine engineering textbooks, international journals, and authentic communication transcripts, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that Marine Engineering English is characterized by its technical precision, standardized terminology, and use of idioms rooted in maritime traditions. Phrases like "main engine overhaul" and idioms such as "running like a well-oiled machine" are essential for operational safety and teamwork. Compared to General English, Marine Engineering English is highly specialized, with a focus on operational efficiency and cultural identity. The study concludes that integrating technical vocabulary and idiomatic expressions into maritime education can enhance learners' communicative competence. Practical recommendations are provided for learners, educators, and industry professionals to improve the teaching and application of Marine Engineering English.

Maritime safety is a critical aspect of military ship operations, where mastery of Ship Salvage Equipment (PEK) becomes a fundamental competency for cadets of the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL). This research aims to identify and analyze the benefits of knowledge of Ship Salvage Equipment (PEK) for AAL cadets in the context of professional competence development, operational readiness, and leadership character formation. Using a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, this study involved 312 AAL cadet respondents from three batches (2022-2024) selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, in-depth interviews, participant observations, and focus group discussions. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics for quantitative data, as well as thematic analysis for qualitative data. The research results show that AAL cadets have a good level of PEK knowledge (score 78.6/100), high self-efficacy (3.68/5), and good operational readiness (3.72/5). As many as 85.6% of cadets acknowledge the very high benefits of PEK learning. The five main themes of benefits identified include: the development of operational technical competencies (37.2%), the enhancement of leadership abilities in critical situations (24.8%), the formation of mental resilience (18.9%), the development of quick decision-making skills (11.4%), and the improvement of a sense of responsibility for safety (7.7%). Cadets with good PEK knowledge demonstrate superior performance with a response speed 32 seconds faster, an error rate 23.4% lower, and an emergency communication score 18.2% higher. Factors influencing the effectiveness of PEK learning include the quality of instructors and teaching methods (β = 0.34), the frequency and variety of emergency simulations (β = 0.28), which together can explain 74.8% of the variance in learning effectiveness. This study provides recommendations for intensifying practical training, improving instructor quality, standardizing the curriculum to integrate technical and leadership aspects, and conducting continuous evaluations of the PEK learning program.

This research aims to analyze the benefits of learning shipbuilding theory for cadets of the Technical Corps at the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) using a mixed methods approach. The research results show that mastery of shipbuilding theory significantly enhances the technical competence of cadets, particularly in understanding ship structure, stability, hydrodynamics, and propulsion systems, and contributes to their operational readiness in the TNI AL environment. However, the main challenges identified include the complexity of the material, limited laboratory and simulator facilities, and the gap between classroom theory and real-world application on warships. The effectiveness of learning is greatly influenced by interactive teaching methods, instructor competence, and the support of learning facilities. This research recommends the development of an adaptive curriculum, increased investment in simulation technology, and collaboration with the maritime industry to enrich the cadets' learning experience. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for the evaluation and development of the shipbuilding theory curriculum at AAL, as well as a reference for other maritime educational institutions in designing more applicable and relevant learning programs that meet operational needs in the field.

This research aims to identify and analyze the essential instructional tools needed in gas turbine learning for cadets of the Naval Academy's engineering corps using a mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design involving 160 respondents, consisting of 120 engineering corps cadets, 15 instructors, and 25 field engineering officers. The research results identified 28 types of gas turbine instructional tools categorized into four groups, with simulators and software showing the highest level of importance (4.65/5.0), and there were significant differences in the perception of importance levels among the three groups of respondents (F(2,157) = 12.45, p < 0.001). The AHP analysis produced a priority framework in four levels, with Level 1 encompassing 5 essential instructional tools: gas turbine simulator (0.742), gas turbine cut-section model (0.698), control system trainer kit (0.681), interactive learning video (0.673), and troubleshooting simulator (0.667). Regression analysis showed that instructional tools significantly contribute to learning effectiveness (R² = 0.742), with the gas turbine simulator as the main predictor (β = 0.384), positively impacting the cognitive aspect with a 26.8% increase in concept understanding (effect size 1.24), the affective aspect with an increase in learning motivation and career interest from 67% to 84%, and the psychomotor aspect with a 33.7% increase in hands-on skills and a 28.5% reduction in troubleshooting time. The resulting priority framework provides strategic guidance for optimizing resources and gradually developing gas turbine learning capabilities in military educational institutions, despite facing major obstacles such as budget constraints, technology compatibility, lack of quality human resources, and limited laboratory infrastructure.

This community service activity was carried out to answer the challenges of modern education, especially in designing assessments that are inclusive and responsive to the diverse learning needs of students. The program involved 25 teachers from five elementary schools in Gunung Anyar Sub-district, Surabaya. The training method includes preparation through a needs survey, exposure to the basic concepts of differentiated assessment, collaborative practice, implementation simulation, and ongoing mentoring. The results of the training showed a significant increase in teacher competence, especially in understanding the concepts of formative, summative, and diagnostic assessments, as well as the ability to design flexible rubrics and assessment formats. As many as 85% of participants understood the objectives of the activity well, 78% felt that they understood the material very well, and 82% felt helped by simulations and hands-on practice. In addition, the training created a culture of productive collaboration between teachers, which was felt by 88% of participants. However, there are challenges in the form of the need for more time for technical deepening of rubric development and implementation assistance in the classroom. Collaborative practice-based training proved effective in improving teachers' competence in differentiated assessment. For the sustainability of the program, further training, the establishment of teacher learning communities and increased school support are recommended. This program is expected to create a more inclusive, innovative and responsive basic education for students' diversity.
