Human–Robot Interaction (HRI) systems increasingly rely on data-driven approaches to interpret multimodal sensory inputs and support natural interaction. However, purely neural-based HRI models often suffer from limited interpretability and insufficient context-aware decision-making, which can reduce user trust and adaptability in dynamic interaction scenarios. To address these limitations, this study proposes a hybrid neural–symbolic HRI framework that integrates multimodal neural perception with explicit symbolic reasoning for adaptive and interpretable robot behavior. The proposed system combines deep neural networks for processing visual, speech, and gesture inputs with a rule-based symbolic reasoning layer that models interaction context, user states, and behavioral constraints. A loosely coupled integration strategy enables neural outputs to be transformed into symbolic representations, allowing logical inference to guide action selection while preserving perceptual accuracy. The framework was evaluated through controlled HRI experiments comparing a neural-only baseline with the proposed hybrid configuration across multiple interaction scenarios. Experimental results demonstrate that the hybrid neural–symbolic system significantly improves interaction accuracy, contextual responsiveness, and user satisfaction, while achieving substantial gains in interpretability. These findings indicate that symbolic reasoning effectively complements neural perception by enhancing transparency and context-aware adaptation without compromising performance. The study concludes that hybrid neural–symbolic architectures provide a promising foundation for developing trustworthy, adaptive, and human-centered HRI systems.

Semantic interoperability remains a major challenge in large scale distributed information systems due to heterogeneous data schemas, diverse contextual interpretations, and the dynamic nature of distributed environments. Traditional metadata-based interoperability approaches are often insufficient to address these challenges, as they lack semantic expressiveness and adaptability. This study proposes a context aware knowledge graph framework to enhance semantic interoperability across heterogeneous distributed systems. The research adopts a design-oriented methodology involving requirement analysis, knowledge graph construction, ontology modeling and alignment, context aware semantic representation, and semantic reasoning. A prototype implementation is developed to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed framework through interoperability scenarios and cross-system semantic queries. The results demonstrate that the proposed approach significantly improves semantic alignment accuracy, query precision, and recall compared to conventional metadata-based solutions. The explicit integration of contextual information and ontology-based reasoning enables adaptive semantic interpretation and reduces ambiguity across systems. Overall, the findings confirm that combining knowledge graphs with ontology modeling and context aware mechanisms provides a robust and scalable solution for improving semantic interoperability in complex distributed information systems.

Learning Al-Qur’an and Hadith in secondary schools is still largely influenced by traditional assessment practices that prioritize written examinations and memorization, which are insufficient to capture students’ actual competencies. This situation often leads to less meaningful learning and limits the development of students’ deep understanding and Islamic character. In essence, Al-Qur’an and Hadith education is intended not only to ensure mastery of theoretical content but also to encourage the internalization and application of Islamic values in everyday life. For this reason, authentic assessment is viewed as a suitable approach because it evaluates learning outcomes in a more comprehensive manner, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This study aims to analyze the implementation of authentic assessment in Al-Qur’an and Hadith learning at the secondary school level and to examine its effectiveness in improving students’ understanding and learning engagement. The research employed a quantitative method, with data collected through a Google Form questionnaire distributed to students and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results demonstrate that authentic assessment contributes to deeper conceptual understanding, enhances practical skills such as proper Qur’anic recitation based on tajwid rules and hadith memorization, and promotes active, confident, and responsible learning attitudes. Overall, authentic assessment provides more meaningful learning experiences and represents an effective alternative assessment strategy to improve the quality of Al-Qur’an and Hadith learning in secondary schools.

This article examines the concept of science from Western and Islamic perspectives, emphasizing the understanding, objects of study, goals, and uses of science in human life. This study is motivated by the differences in scientific paradigms between the modern Western tradition, which developed on the basis of rationality, empiricism, and the secularization of science, and the Islamic scientific tradition, which views science as an integral part of revelation, reason, and empirical reality. This research uses a qualitative method based on literature review with a descriptive-analytical and comparative approach to various classical and contemporary literary sources. The results of the study indicate that Western science tends to be anthropocentric, placing humans at the center of reality, and is oriented toward mastery of nature and the achievement of material progress. In contrast, science from an Islamic perspective is theocentric, placing God at the center of knowledge, and is directed toward achieving human well-being and a balance between this world and the afterlife. Despite these fundamental differences, both perspectives share similarities in the use of reason and empirical observation as primary instruments in the scientific process. This study is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of the philosophy of science and efforts to integrate science in the contemporary era.

This study examines Fazlur Rahman’s double movement paradigm as a methodological framework for renewing contemporary Islamic thought. The background of this research lies in the ongoing crisis of Islamic epistemology, marked by the dominance of textual-literal interpretations that are detached from historical context, as well as modernist approaches that often lack strong Islamic methodological foundations. This condition has weakened the ability of Islamic thought to respond to modern social, ethical, and intellectual challenges. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research. The primary data consist of Fazlur Rahman’s major works, including Islam, Major Themes of the Qur’an, and Islam and Modernity, while secondary data are drawn from academic journals, books, theses, and previous studies discussing his thought. Data were analyzed through content analysis and interpretative analysis to identify key concepts, methodological patterns, and their implications for contemporary Islamic thought. The findings show that Fazlur Rahman conceptualizes the Qur’an as a source of universal moral values rather than a static legal code. His double movement method emphasizes understanding the Qur’anic text within its historical context and reapplying its moral principles to contemporary realities. This approach positions Rahman within the framework of Islamic neo-modernism, bridging classical Islamic tradition and modern intellectual demands. The study concludes that the double movement paradigm offers a relevant epistemological foundation for renewing Islamic thought, particularly in Qur’anic interpretation, Islamic law, and Islamic education, by promoting contextual, ethical, and critical reasoning.

This study aims to construct a comprehensive concept of Quranic Andragogy based on the profound educational interaction between Prophet Musa a.s. and Prophet Khidir a.s. as narrated in Surah Al-Kahfi. Employing systematic library research with a thematic exegesis approach and rigorous content analysis, this research synthesizes Malcolm Knowles’ andragogy theory with core Islamic values and principles. The findings reveal that Quranic Andragogy transcends conventional Western pragmatism by effectively integrating intellectual autonomy with deep spiritual humility (tawadhu). The narrative illustrates three fundamental pillars of this pedagogical model: the urgency of cultivating internal motivation (the need to know), which is driven by a conscious willingness to 'unlearn' ego and preconceptions; the careful management of cognitive conflict within experiential learning processes; and the consistent implementation of a disciplined, ethically guided learning contract. It is concluded that adult education in Islam requires a careful balance between critical reasoning, reflective practice, and spiritual obedience in order to achieve holistic self-transformation that extends beyond the mere transfer of knowledge and information, fostering both intellectual and moral development in learners.

The axiology of science is a branch of the philosophy of science that examines the values, goals, and orientations of scientific knowledge utilization. This article aims to philosophically analyze the concept of the axiology of science from Western and Islamic perspectives, highlighting their fundamental similarities and differences. This research employs a qualitative method, employing a literature review approach with descriptive-analytical and comparative methods. The results of the study indicate that in the Western philosophical tradition, the axiology of science has developed historically, from the search for the highest good in classical times to the tendency towards value relativism in the modern and postmodern eras, with human rationality as the center of value determination. Meanwhile, the axiology of science in Islam is rooted in monotheism as a metaphysical foundation, with revelation as the primary source of values and reason serving as an interpretive instrument. Despite paradigmatic differences, both traditions affirm that science cannot be separated from moral dimensions and ethical responsibility. This article concludes that dialogue between Western and Islamic axiology is essential for building a scientific paradigm that is not only rational and progressive, but also moral, just, and oriented towards the welfare of humanity.

The use of Large Language Models (LLMs) in scientific research is becoming increasingly widespread, but presents epistemic risks that are not yet fully understood. This article discusses how the probabilistic mechanisms of LLM can produce outputs that appear correct and justified but are actually dependent on epistemic luck, thus resembling the Gettier case pattern. Through a conceptual study approach, this research clarifies concepts, analytically reconstructs the generative structure of LLM, and conducts a normative analysis of its implications for scientific accountability and authorship. The results of the analysis show that Algorithmic Gettier Cases (AGCs) occur when linguistic coherence deceives users and creates the impression of justification, even though the truth that emerges is statistical coincidence and is not supported by valid causal relationships. This condition poses a serious challenge to the attribution of knowledge and author responsibility in the production of academic texts. To address this issue, this article proposes the principle of Hyper-Justification Obligation, which is the ethical obligation for researchers to actively verify and causally reason every AI output before using it in scientific works. This research provides a theoretical contribution to understanding the epistemic risks of LLM and offers an ethical foundation for academic practice in the era of generative AI.

This study investigates the implementation of the PAIKEM Gembrot model to enhance the literacy, numeracy, and creativity of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN Unjuruiya No. 45 in the Selayar Islands. Using a two-cycle classroom action research design—comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection—data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation to obtain comprehensive information on both learning processes and outcomes. In Cycle I, only 40% of students met the mastery criteria, largely due to their initial adjustment to the new learning approach and limited engagement in collaborative activities. After refining instructional strategies in Cycle II, including the use of more varied learning activities, concrete and contextual learning media, structured group discussions, and closer teacher guidance, student learning outcomes improved dramatically, with 100% of students achieving mastery. In addition, students showed increased participation, confidence, and motivation during classroom interactions. These results demonstrate that PAIKEM Gembrot effectively strengthens students’ abilities to comprehend information, apply numerical reasoning, and express creativity through active and meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, the PAIKEM Gembrot model serves as a promising and contextually relevant alternative for improving elementary science learning, particularly in island-based schools with limited educational resources.

A market is a place where buying and selling transactions take place between sellers and buyers at a specific time and place. This definition encompasses several key elements: the presence of sellers, buyers, a specific place and time, and a transaction agreement. Such markets are also known as traditional markets. "Surprise" or "overflow" markets are markets that open suddenly and briefly. "Surprise" or "overflow" markets are increasingly common in various locations. There are many reasons why people enjoy shopping at these markets. One example is the very low prices, especially compared to shopping at supermarkets or malls. Over time, with the increasing demand for basic necessities, the "surprise" market, located along the road in the Vila Mutiara Cikarang housing complex, has also experienced gradual development. The number of traders and buyers has increased, the trading space has expanded, and transaction times have decreased. This "surprise" market is located along the road in the Vila Mutiara Cikarang housing complex, starting from the second block to the end of the road exiting the housing complex. The "surprise" market operates during peak hours, especially in the morning, when this time is not only for market activities but also for many activities such as going to work, school, and other activities.

The weakness of the scientific tradition among Muslims and the complex problems of Islamic education have left Islamic education consistently lagging behind, theoretically unable to provide answers to the demands of liberalism and humanization. A reconstruction of the epistemological structure appropriate to the current context is necessary. This paper aims to analyze and critique Ibn Rushd's epistemology. The article is a study of the figure to look specifically at his epistemology with critical reasoning to produce findings on the research questions. The results of the study show that Ibn Rushd's epistemology is a critical synthesis of Greek philosophy and Islamic religion, which places reason and revelation as complementary paths to true knowledge and happiness in the afterlife. He critiques the thought that separates the two, especially by emphasizing the importance of scientific methods and rational reasoning, and highlights its critical aspects through criticism of Al-Ghazali and the development of the theory of the unity of the intellect which has had a significant impact on philosophical thought and education. Ibn Rushd's thinking sparked the Averroist movement in Europe, which later ushered in the Renaissance. His epistemology had positive implications for the development of Islamic education, encouraging the development of reason-based knowledge and scientific analysis. His concept of the unity of philosophy and religion, along with his emphasis on the scientific method, inspired scientists in the development of general knowledge in the modern era .

Web security is an important aspect in maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in the digital age, where cyber threats are increasingly complex and difficult to detect. This research was conducted because there are still many web systems that are vulnerable to attacks due to weak early detection of security gaps. For this reason, this study implements a combination of Nmap and Metasploit Framework as the main tools in proactively detecting and testing system vulnerabilities. The research method was carried out in three stages, namely data collection by scanning the network using Nmap to identify open ports and services, selecting the appropriate testing tools, and controlled exploitation using Metasploit on the Metasploitable2 test system. The results of the study show that Nmap is capable of mapping the attack surface in detail, while Metasploit can validate the scan results through exploitation of vulnerable services such as vsftpd 2.3.4, which successfully provided root access to the target system. The combination of these two tools has proven to be effective in conducting systematic, fast, and accurate early detection of attacks, so that it can be used as a preventive measure to improve web security from potential cyber threats.

This study elaborates on the concept of humanism in Islamic educational philosophy by highlighting in greater depth the role of humans as caliphs on earth. Humanism from an Islamic perspective not only focuses on humans as rational beings but also emphasizes the moral, spiritual, and social responsibilities inherent in the mandate of the caliphate. This study applies a qualitative approach with a literature study, where data is obtained from various written sources such as scientific articles and academic publications that discuss humanism in Islamic education and the concept of the human caliphate. The data collection process is carried out through searching, selecting, and organizing literature relevant to the focus of the study. The collected data are then analyzed using descriptive-qualitative techniques through the stages of simplifying information, grouping findings, and formulating systematic conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the position of humans as caliphs requires the development of intellectual, ethical, and spiritual potential in an integrated manner in the educational process. Therefore, Islamic education needs to be directed towards a holistic humanization process, which not only strengthens reasoning and social character but also fosters a transcendental awareness of human relationships with God, fellow humans, and nature. Thus, humanism in Islamic education is not secular, liberal, or anthropocentric, but is firmly rooted in divine values that harmoniously unite the divine and human dimensions.

The rapid development of e-commerce as part of the broader digital transformation has introduced various new forms of transactions that were not explicitly recognized in classical Islamic jurisprudence. These include digital contracts, non-physical goods, cloud-based services, and electronic payment systems. Such innovations present a range of legal challenges, particularly concerning the validity of contracts, the legal status of digital products, the permissibility and security of electronic payment methods, and the protection of consumers in online transactions. To address these challenges, Islamic scholars have increasingly turned to ijtihad the process of independent reasoning and interpretation—as a methodology capable of providing legal solutions for contemporary issues. This study employs a qualitative approach, primarily through literature review, to examine the foundational principles of ijtihad, various methodological tools, and their applicability to different aspects of e-commerce transactions. The findings demonstrate that ijtihad methods, including qiyās (analogical reasoning), istislāh (consideration of public interest), istihsān (juridical preference), and ‘urf (customary practice), enable Islamic law to remain adaptive and flexible, while still oriented toward justice and public welfare. By applying these methods, Islamic jurisprudence can provide legal certainty, uphold fairness, and ensure that e-commerce practices align with Shariah principles, ultimately fostering trust and ethical behavior in the digital marketplace.

Traditional food is a national asset. It not only serves as a source of energy for the community, but also serves as a form of food security, an economic driver, a source of healthy food, and a culture steeped in noble values. The widespread consumption of unhealthy foods by students, especially elementary school students, is one of the reasons for this outreach activity. The health issues surrounding junk food must be addressed by offering healthy alternatives, such as traditional foods. Traditional food is not only related to food, but can also be linked to ethnomathematics, where culture in the form of food is studied from a mathematical perspective. Elementary school students not only consume traditional foods but also interpret these foods in mathematical contexts, such as geometry and numbers. In this way, students will be able to visualize mathematical elements not only when reading math textbooks but also when consuming traditional foods that are part of their daily environment. Despite their traditional nature, students actually enjoy some traditional foods. This is a frequent conflict between the current generation and traditional culture. They better understand how to prepare traditional foods, appreciate the richness of local culture, and develop a love for their culture and homeland.

The Qur’an and Hadith, as the primary sources of Islamic teachings, provide a comprehensive value framework regarding the ideal character that should be possessed by both educators and learners. Educators are required to demonstrate sincerity, patience, justice, noble character, and to serve as role models (uswah hasanah) for their students. Education is a fundamental pillar in the formation of individual character and personality. This study aims to examine and analyze the concepts of attitudes and personality of educators and learners based on the Qur’an and Hadith. The method employed is a literature review using a qualitative approach through the analysis of relevant Qur’anic verses and Prophetic traditions. The results of the study indicate that learners are individuals who strive to develop their potential through the learning process within educational pathways, both formal and non-formal, at certain levels and types of education. Among the ethics of learners toward educators are sitting politely in front of the teacher, speaking respectfully, not interrupting the teacher while speaking, listening attentively to the teacher’s explanations, asking questions gently and respectfully when something is not understood, attending school regularly, avoiding truancy and lateness without valid reasons, entering the classroom promptly before the teacher arrives, and obeying the teacher’s advice.

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of policies prohibiting illegal fishing practices involving the use of explosives, poisons, and electric shock devices in Sanga-Sanga District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Although regulations and extension activities related to the prohibition have been established, illegal fishing practices continue to occur as of 2025. The findings reveal that some fishermen still use poison and electric shock due to economic reasons and the perception that these methods yield greater catches. However, such actions cause losses to other fishermen by reducing the quality of the catch and damaging the aquatic ecosystem. The community is aware of these violations but is reluctant to report them due to fear of threats from the perpetrators. Efforts by fisheries extension officers to establish community-based surveillance groups (Pokmaswas) have not been optimal due to low public participation. Collaboration between provincial fisheries supervisors and the local marine police (Polairud) has resulted in joint patrols that successfully apprehended two perpetrators of illegal fishing, yet law enforcement has not produced a deterrent effect. Moreover, the program to replace destructive fishing gear with environmentally friendly alternatives for fishermen willing to transition has not been realized due to budget constraints. Based on these findings, it is necessary to strengthen integrated surveillance, provide legal protection for whistleblowers, accelerate the implementation of sustainable fishing gear programs, and enhance public awareness of legal and ecological issues.
