This community service program aims to strengthen the strategic role of Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) as a center for family health education through the innovation of its educational functions. Previously, Posyandu operations in the community tended to be limited to routine basic health services, such as weight monitoring and nutritional status recording, while the crucial aspect of health education remained suboptimal. This limitation has contributed to a lack of public understanding regarding healthy lifestyles and the prevention of chronic diseases or stunting. The methods implemented in this program included problem identification through observation, health socialization and education, specialized training for Posyandu cadres to enhance their communication capacity, and direct mentoring during activity implementation. The results demonstrated a significant increase in family knowledge regarding balanced nutrition and clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS). Furthermore, Posyandu cadres became more active and skilled in delivering health information communicatively to the community. This program demonstrates that by strengthening its educational function, Posyandu can transform into an effective and sustainable family health learning center, significantly impacting the improvement of community health standards at the frontline level.

A building feasibility evaluation study is an important step to ensure the safety, comfort, and sustainability of building functions, especially in public service facilities. This activity was carried out at the PLN ULP Praya office building, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, which has been operating since 1985. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of building feasibility based on structural, architectural, utility, safety, and health aspects of the building. The methods used included visual inspection, field measurements, hammer tests, and analysis of the condition of building elements based on building feasibility inspection standards. The inspection results showed that the building suffered severe damage characterized by foundation subsidence, large cracks in the walls, reinforcement corrosion, concrete peeling, and damage to the roof frame. The structural strength value obtained was below the construction feasibility standard so that the building was declared structurally unfit for function. Although several supporting aspects such as lighting, drainage, and sanitation systems still functioned quite well, the damaged condition of the main structure has the potential to endanger the safety of users. Therefore, rebuilding the building structure is recommended as the safest solution to ensure the safety, stability, and sustainability of the building's function in the future.

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease often referred to as a silent killer because it generally does not present noticeable symptoms. Several risk factors contribute to the development of hypertension, including high body mass index (BMI) and low levels of physical activity. However, data regarding the association between BMI, physical activity, and hypertension at Pakuan Baru Public Health Center, Jambi City, remain limited. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between body mass index and physical activity with hypertension among adults at Pakuan Baru Public Health Center, Jambi City. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The research was conducted at Pakuan Baru Public Health Center, Jambi City, from November 19 to December 6, 2025. The study population consisted of all adult patients with hypertension at Pakuan Baru Public Health Center, totaling 2,797 individuals. A sample of 93 respondents was selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using observation sheets through measurements of height and weight to calculate BMI, as well as the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ). Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the chi-square statistical test. The univariate analysis showed that 27 respondents (29.0%) were classified as severely obese, 42 respondents (45.2%) had a low level of physical activity, and 28 respondents (30.1%) were categorized as having stage 2 hypertension at Pakuan Baru Public Health Center, Jambi City. The bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between body mass index and physical activity with blood pressure among patients with hypertension (p = 0.000). It is expected that healthcare providers at Pakuan Baru Public Health Center will continue to provide education regarding the importance of controlling body mass index and engaging in regular physical activity, as these factors contribute to increased blood pressure among patients with hypertension.

Nutritional problems among children under five, particularly stunting, remain a significant public health challenge associated with inadequate nutrient intake and unfavorable eating behaviors such as picky eating, poor appetite, and feeding difficulties. These conditions may lead to imbalanced macronutrient and micronutrient intake, which adversely affects child growth and development. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to improve parental knowledge and skills in fulfilling child nutritional requirements through education and training on innovative food processing based on local ingredients, namely mandu formulated with anchovy (Stolephorus spp.) and yardlong bean (Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis). The methods included educational sessions, hands-on training, mentoring, and evaluation using a structured questionnaire. The evaluation involved 18 participants, where 83.3% achieved an excellent category and 16.7% a good category. The practice-based educational approach combined with the utilization of locally available nutrient-dense ingredients was effective in enhancing community capacity and shows potential as a preventive strategy to reduce the risk of stunting at the household level.

This study was motivated by the gap between employee performance evaluations and the quality of health services at Dr. Adnaan WD Payakumbuh Regional General Hospital. Although the majority of employees received a “Good” performance rating through the e-Kinerja system and SKP, the public still complained about slow service, long lines, a lack of empathy among staff, and poor coordination between units. This study aims to analyze the implementation of performance management in relation to improvements in employee performance and the quality of healthcare services. The research method employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving hospital management, medical and non-medical staff, as well as patients. Data analysis utilizes the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results indicate that the implementation of performance management is not yet optimal because it remains administratively oriented and has not been integrated with service quality. Issues were identified in the areas of human resources, facilities, coordination, supervision, as well as low levels of empathy and service responsiveness. The study concludes that the performance management system does not yet fully support improvements in the quality of healthcare services; therefore, an evaluation based on service outcomes and patient satisfaction is required.

This study aims to explain the context of the Value Added Tax (VAT) increase policy and its relevance to the trade sector, while also presenting a framework for analyzing the tax burden. The data sources used consist of publications from the last four years, namely from 2021 to 2024. The observed phenomena are then analyzed using various secondary data obtained from scientific journals, official government reports, and other reliable sources relevant to the research topic, in order to provide a comprehensive overview. The conclusions are drawn based on empirical facts, the impacts of the tax increase, and the government’s mitigation efforts to ensure taxpayer compliance. The increase in the VAT rate represents an important step in fiscal reform aimed at increasing state revenue and reducing the budget deficit. This policy has significant potential to support the growth of the national budget, particularly in financing priority sectors such as infrastructure, education, and healthcare. However, the VAT increase may also affect consumers’ purchasing power and trade activities, thus requiring appropriate supporting policies to minimize negative impacts. Therefore, it is expected that this policy will contribute to sustainable economic stability and promote long-term national economic growth.

Bullying is a common occurrence in schools and public settings, often affecting children. However, this issue often goes unnoticed because it is considered commonplace, despite the significant impact it can have on victims. This study aims to determine the impact of bullying on a child's personality and educational process. The impact of bullying on children who are victims of bullying is that victims experience physical and non-physical violence. These include frequent social isolation, a lack of close friends, poor relationships with parents, and declining mental health. The worst impact for children who are victims of bullying is depression and even suicide. This can lead to prolonged trauma for children who are victims of bullying. Furthermore, a child who is a victim of bullying will also experience learning and academic difficulties. One action that can be taken for a child who is a perpetrator or victim of bullying is to provide affection, trust, involve them in positive activities, and educate them about the negative impacts of bullying. Therefore, collaboration between schools, teachers, and parents is needed to address bullying against children.

The issue of nutrition among school children remains a public health challenge in Indonesia. As an effort to improve the nutritional status of students, the government launched the Free Nutritious Meal program (MBG) in educational units. However, in its implementation, there are still students who do not take advantage of the program. This study aims to identify the reasons why students do not utilize the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program based on the (ABC) theory of antecedent, behavior, consequence at SD Negeri 100 Kendari. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The number of informants to be studied is 6 people selected through Purposive Sampling, consisting of students, the principal, teachers, SPPG officers, and parents. Data collection is conducted through in-depth interviews, recording, observation, and documentation. The data are analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research results show that the antecedent of students' knowledge about the MBG program is at the level of knowing to understanding, the application of the provided menu has been in accordance with balanced nutrition principles, and the program policy is supported by various parties. Students' behavior shows rejection of the program influenced by negative experiences, perceptions of the halalness of food containers, and parental prohibitions. The consequence of students not participating does not directly have a negative impact on their learning conditions or physical health, because nutritional needs are still met from other sources. Therefore, students have no motivation to utilize the program. In conclusion, students who do not take advantage of the MBG program are influenced by perceptions, experiences, and parental restrictions. Therefore, it is necessary to improve education, strengthen communication, and enhance the quality of program implementation to increase the utilization of the MBG program.

This study aims to examine the normative construction and practical implementation of criminal sanctions against narcotics abusers from the perspectives of Islamic criminal law and Indonesian positive law, as well as to formulate an integrative policy model that is more just, humane, and context-sensitive in Bungo Regency. Narcotics abuse constitutes a multidimensional problem involving legal, social, moral, and public health dimensions. Therefore, a comprehensive approach is required to integrate the normative values of Islamic criminal law with the national legal system. This research employs a normative-empirical approach using comparative legal analysis, examining statutory regulations, doctrines of Islamic criminal law, and law enforcement practices at the local level. The findings indicate that Islamic criminal law frames narcotics abuse within the protection of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, particularly the preservation of intellect (ḥifẓ al-‘aql) and life (ḥifẓ al-nafs), thereby emphasizing not only punitive but also educational and rehabilitative orientations through the instrument of ta‘zīr. Meanwhile, Indonesian positive law, particularly Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics, provides legal space for rehabilitation; however, its implementation still encounters structural and cultural challenges. This study concludes that integrating Islamic criminal law principles with the national legal framework may produce a more responsive sentencing model that upholds substantive justice, human rights protection, and effective narcotics control. Policy reformulation grounded in religious values, restorative approaches, and social rehabilitation is recommended as a strategic direction for national criminal law reform.

Students in the transition period are vulnerable to experiencing mental health problems and tend to self-diagnose due to easy access to information and low mental health literacy. This research aims to determine the relationship between mental health literacy and the tendency to make a diagnosis in students at the Faculty of Public Health, Nusa Cendana University, Kupang. This type of research is quantitative research with a correlational approach. Respondents in this study numbered 301 people using probability sampling techniques. Data collection techniques used the mental health literacy scale and self-diagnosis scale. Data analysis uses the product moment correlation test. The research results show that there is a significant negative relationship between mental health literacy and self-diagnosis (r = -0.846 < 0.05), which means that the higher the mental health literacy, the lower the tendency for self-diagnosis in students, and vice versa. In addition, mental health literacy contributed 71.6% to the tendency of self-diagnosis. It is hoped that students not only have a high level of mental health literacy but also quality, so that they realize that self-diagnosis is an inappropriate action and students are expected to take advantage of available professional mental health services.
