The community service activity entitled “Optimization of MSME Financial Management Based on Sharia Economic Principles” aims to enhance financial literacy and management capacity of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bekasi Regency in a sustainable manner. This program is designed to address the practical needs of business actors in managing their finances in an orderly, transparent manner and in accordance with Sharia values. Through a participatory training approach and action-based mentoring, a total of eight MSME participants took part in a series of activities, including basic financial recording training, simulations of Sharia-based financial statement preparation, as well as an introduction to various halal financing alternatives and the utilization of Sharia fintech. The results of the activity indicate a significant increase in participants’ understanding of Sharia financial concepts, rising from 45% to 85%, along with improved skills in preparing financial statements in accordance with Sharia principles. In addition, this program also generated positive social changes, marked by the establishment of the “Bekasi Berdaya Sharia MSME Group” as a platform for collective learning, business collaboration, and network strengthening. These findings demonstrate that the application of Sharia financial principles in community empowerment programs can strengthen economic resilience while fostering ethical, transparent, and value-driven business practices.

Public service plays a fundamental role in fulfilling citizens’ rights and needs within modern governance systems. The increasing complexity of social, economic, and technological changes has encouraged the transformation of public administration paradigms. This study aims to analyze the evolution of public service paradigms from Old Public Administration to Network Governance, identify the key characteristics of each paradigm, and explain the shift in values and the role of the state in public service delivery. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by examining various academic sources related to public administration theories and public service governance. The analysis was conducted through content analysis and comparative analysis to identify conceptual developments and paradigm differences in public administration. The results indicate that public service paradigms have evolved from hierarchical and rule-based governance toward more collaborative and participatory governance models. Old Public Administration emphasizes bureaucratic hierarchy and administrative control, New Public Management focuses on efficiency and performance-based management, while New Public Service highlights citizen participation and democratic values. The most recent paradigm, Network Governance, promotes collaboration among government, private sector, and civil society in addressing complex public issues. These findings suggest that contemporary public administration increasingly adopts a hybrid governance approach that integrates elements of various paradigms to enhance the effectiveness and responsiveness of public service delivery.

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Integrated Dynamic Archival Information Sistem (SRIKANDI) application in digital archive management at the Public Works and Public Housing Agency (PUPR) of Jambi Province. This study applies a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of informants directly involved in archive management and the use of the SRIKANDI application. The analysis of policy implementation in this study is based on Edward III's theory, which covers the dimensions of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The findings of the study show that the implementation of the SRIKANDI application in the Road Construction Division has been carried out, but it has not been running optimally. The use of the application is still mostly focused on correspondence activities, while the comprehensive archive management function has not been optimally implemented. Factors supporting implementation include the existence of clear regulations, leadership commitment, and the availability of socialization and training activities. Meanwhile, the obstacles found include limitations in internet network quality, application stability, and differences in the level of human resource capabilities and adaptation to digital sistems. This study concludes that the successful implementation of SRIKANDI is not only influenced by the availability of technology, but also by the readiness of organizations and human resources in supporting the transformation of digital archive management. In addition, this study also provides several strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of implementation.

This research benchmarks multiple machine learning (ML) algorithms for large-scale loan default prediction using a real-world dataset of 255,000 borrower records, where default cases represent only ~9–12% of total observations. The study addresses the persistent gap in comparative analyses of ML models that balance predictive accuracy, interpretability, and computational efficiency for credit risk assessment. Six algorithmic families were evaluated Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), and Stacked Ensemble—using standardized preprocessing, hybrid imbalance handling (SMOTE, class weighting, under-sampling), and comprehensive evaluation metrics (AUC, F1, Recall, Precision, PR-AUC, and Brier Score). Empirical results show Logistic Regression achieved the highest AUC of 0.732, outperforming nonlinear models under the baseline configuration, while LightGBM attained perfect recall (1.0) but low precision (0.116), indicating over-prediction of defaults. Gradient boosting models demonstrated robust calibration (Brier ≈ 0.114–0.116) and the best computational efficiency, with LightGBM showing the fastest training and lowest memory use. CatBoost exhibited strong recall but the slowest computation, and ANN underperformed on tabular data (AUC ≈ 0.56). The Stacked Ensemble delivered balanced results with AUC = 0.664 and improved overall stability. These findings confirm that boosting-based models, particularly LightGBM and CatBoost, offer superior scalability and calibration, whereas Logistic Regression remains a valuable interpretable baseline. The study concludes that effective default prediction requires integrating rebalancing, calibration, and threshold optimization to enhance recall and operational deployment reliability in large-scale credit ecosystems.

Inconsistent terminology across cybersecurity frameworks undermines global governance and interoperability. The National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CSF 2.0) and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 share similar objectives but diverge semantically in defining risk, control, and resilience. This semantic gap causes difficulties in compliance mapping and automated policy translation. Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the semantic similarity and divergence between NIST and ISO/IEC 27000 terminologies, identify conceptual structures influencing interoperability, and propose an AI-assisted foundation for harmonizing cybersecurity language globally. Methodology: A mixed-method semantic comparative design integrates Natural Language Processing (NLP) and ontology mapping. Using the nist_glossary.csv dataset and ISO vocabularies, terms were normalized and analyzed via cosine similarity using sentence-transformer embeddings. Ontological alignment was visualized through the Semantic Threat Graph (STG) and validated by certified experts using Cohen’s Kappa reliability tests. Results: From 672 term pairs, results show 40.9% high semantic equivalence, 38.8% partial overlap, and 20.3% semantic divergence. Strongest alignment appears in “Protect” and “Identify” domains, while divergences occur in governance and recovery-related terms. Ontology mapping revealed three conceptual clusters—Risk Governance, Technical Safeguards, and Organizational Readiness. Conclusions: Findings confirm a 79.7% total semantic alignment, indicating strong potential for harmonizing global cybersecurity standards. The study contributes an empirical model combining computational linguistics and AI-based ontology mapping to establish semantic interoperability, enabling unified cybersecurity governance and AI-driven compliance automation. The rapid development of technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has driven the education sector to continuously adapt to the evolving demands of digital-based industries. One of the key technological innovations supporting this transformation is the Internet of Things (IoT), which enables data acquisition, real-time monitoring, and remote control of systems through internet networks. In response to these developments, a community service program was conducted to enhance the understanding and technical skills of students at SMK Negeri 1 Sindang through the provision and utilization of an IoT Trainer Kit Simulator as a practical learning medium. This activity aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry-relevant technological applications by introducing students to hands-on IoT system implementation. The program included demonstrations and guided practice on the use of sensors, microcontrollers, and web-based monitoring platforms to simulate real-world industrial scenarios. The results indicate that students showed high enthusiasm and active participation throughout the activity. Moreover, participants were able to grasp the fundamental concepts of IoT systems, understand component integration, and recognize the relevance of IoT applications in supporting automation and digital transformation. Overall, this community service activity contributed positively to strengthening students’ digital competencies and preparedness for the demands of the contemporary industrial and technological landscape.

This research aims to design an Information Systems and Information Technology (IS/IT) strategic plan for Wyndham OPI Hotel Palembang to support operational efficiency and enhance the quality of five-star hotel services. The study applies the Ward and Peppard framework, supported by analytical methods including Value Chain,PEST,SWOT,Critical Success Factors (CSF), MOST and McFarlan Strategic Grid. Through these approaches, the current IS/IT condition, challenges, and opportunities for digital system development within the hotel environment were mapped. The analysis reveals that although the hotel has implemented technologies such as SiteMinder and the Rhapsody management system, there is a need to improve self-service check-in capabilities, strengthen IT infrastructure, and maximize digital technology utilization. The proposed strategy recommends the development of an integrated self check-in system, enhancement of network infrastructure, and employee training through an LMS platform. This strategic plan is expected to support the hotel’s digital transformation to remain competitive in the modern hospitality industry.

Social media is one form of technological advancement that has become an integral part of students’ lives, including university students. Its use is not limited to communication and information sharing, but it may also generate psychological effects that influence both physical and mental health. The purpose of this review is to identify and explain the psychological impacts of social media use through appropriate theoretical approaches, which serve as a foundation for discussing the research findings. This study employs a literature review method by examining various academic books and relevant scientific articles. The findings indicate that excessive use of social media has the potential to cause psychological problems among university students, such as social comparison behavior, cyberbullying, decreased sleep quality, and reduced learning productivity. These issues are influenced by several factors, including the intensity of social media use, the type of content accessed, and individuals’ ability to manage emotions and time. Furthermore, uncontrolled social media use may lead to difficulties in social relationships, increased procrastination, poor time management, and reduced self-control in using social networking platforms. Therefore, students are encouraged to develop healthier patterns of social media use to reduce the risk of psychological disturbances. This review is also expected to assist healthcare professionals in understanding the relationship between the intensity of social media use and the occurrence of depressive symptoms among university students.

The development of information technology requires educational institutions to adapt so that administrative processes and internal management can run more effectively and efficiently. Islamic boarding schools as modern Islamic educational institutions are also not exempt from this need. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to optimize computer networks and improve the understanding of pesantren staff regarding folder sharing systems, printer sharing, and data management ethics at Pondok Pesantren Modern Darel Azhar, Rangkasbitung, Banten. Implementation methods include initial observation, network design and installation, material delivery and training, data sharing system implementation, and technical evaluation. The results show that the pesantren now has a more organized, stable, and optimally utilized local area network (LAN). In addition, administrative staff gained a better understanding of computer network basics, data sharing systems, and digital data management ethics. This activity has a positive impact on the efficiency of pesantren administrative management and can serve as a model for implementing computer network technology in modern pesantren environments.

Digital transformation has become a critical lever for modernizing maritime logistics, particularly in archipelagic nations where supply chain fragmentation poses persistent operational challenges. This study examines the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain technologies as dual mechanisms for enhancing supply chain transparency within Indonesian domestic shipping networks. Employing a qualitative research design supported by thematic analysis, the study engaged maritime logistics experts, port operators, and shipping company representatives as primary respondents. Findings reveal that IoT-blockchain integration significantly improves real-time cargo visibility, reduces documentation fraud, and strengthens regulatory compliance across multi-port supply chains. The research further demonstrates that digital transformation in maritime logistics is not merely a technological upgrade but a governance and institutional reform imperative, particularly given Indonesia's strategic maritime position. Results indicate an overall high performance score across transparency, efficiency, and security indicators, affirming the readiness of key stakeholders to adopt integrated digital solutions. The study contributes a replicable framework for digital maritime logistics governance applicable to archipelagic developing economies seeking sustainable supply chain advancement.

This community service aims to provide training on the use of the Joint Marketing Program (eJMP) application module to micro and small industry players in the  Surabaya city, so that marketing of MSI products can be carried out flexibly without being limited by space, place and time, so that marketing can reach a wider network and ensure the sustainability of MSI businesses in the future. This community service activity uses a qualitative descriptive approach by photographing the real conditions of marketing management of micro and small industries, then providing eJMP module training to 20 micro and small industry sector players as well as owners who are domiciled in the Surabaya city. The eJMP module training method is implemented through four stages, namely: (1) identifying the suitability of the eJMP module content to the marketing needs of MSI businesses, (2) determining the eJMP module training model with its marketing literacy priorities, (3) elaborating the eJMP content with MSI marketing literacy materials, and (4) implementing the eJMP module training for micro and small industry players. The results of this training indicate that micro and small industry players still experience difficulties in marketing MSI products, therefore optimizing the use of the eJMP application can help micro and small industry businesses to optimize marketing together, flexibly and effectively. This eJMP application module training includes material on the important role of joint marketing, optimizing the role of cooperatives, an introduction to the eJMP application and joint marketing simulations through the eJMP application. This training, which is carried out in a structured and systematic manner for micro and small industry players, is expected to be able to improve flexible and effective joint marketing and ensure the sustainability of MSI businesses in the future .

This study aims to develop a strategic plan for Information Systems and Information Technology (IS/IT) at KR Hotel Palembang by applying the Ward and Peppard methodology. The analysis began with external environment assessment using the PEST framework and internal analysis through the MOST method and Value Chain model. The results were synthesized into a SWOT analysis to identify the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. From this, Critical Success Factors (CSF) were formulated to guide the determination of key information system needs. Application portfolio mapping was then conducted using the McFarlan Strategic Grid to classify systems based on their strategic impact. Findings indicate that KR Hotel has strong potential in leveraging digital technologies but faces challenges such as the absence of integrated systems across departments and limited IT training for staff. To address these issues, an integrated system named ZKBiolock was proposed, encompassing modules such as hotel management, financial management, customer relationship management (CRM), human resource training systems, digital promotion, and internal network monitoring and control. This strategic plan is supported by a comprehensive database design, network topology, human resource and infrastructure analysis, investment budgeting, and Return on Investment (ROI) evaluation. The proposed strategy aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the hotel's operational management.

Licensing services are an important component in supporting the investment climate and ease of doing business in the region. This study aims to analyze the management of licensing service strategies at the Tanjungbalai City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP). The analysis includes organizational strategies, program strategies, resource support strategies, and supporting and inhibiting service factors. The research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that DPMPTSP has implemented digital-based services through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, Building Management Information System (SIMBG), and Sicantik Cloud. The implementation is supported by the strengthening of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and improving the quality of human resources. However, the implementation still faces obstacles in the form of network disruptions, limited technology infrastructure, and a limited number of service officers. Therefore, optimizing digital-based licensing services requires stable infrastructure support, increased apparatus capacity, and continuous coordination between stakeholders. This research contribution emphasizes the importance of an adaptive, integrative, and quality-oriented licensing service management strategy to support sustainable regional economic development.

Educational institutions increasingly face competitive pressures in attracting and maintaining student enrollment, particularly within the private school sector. This study examines educational marketing strategies implemented to increase student enrollment in Catholic private schools. The research focuses on two institutions, namely SMA Strada Santo Thomas Aquino and SMA Katolik Lia Stephanie, which demonstrate different enrollment trends and marketing approaches. A qualitative exploratory method was employed to understand institutional strategies and marketing practices in their natural contexts. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation conducted between August and December 2025. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, while analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that both schools implement educational marketing strategies based on the marketing mix framework (7P), including product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. SMA Strada Santo Thomas Aquino applies a community-relational approach that emphasizes Catholic values, alumni loyalty, school reputation, and word-of-mouth communication within community networks. SMA Katolik Lia Stephanie adopts a differentiation-professional approach by offering flagship academic programs, modern facilities, and structured promotional strategies coordinated by a dedicated marketing team. The effectiveness of these strategies is supported by church networks, alumni engagement, foundation support, and consistent educational service quality. Several challenges were identified, including limited marketing resources, insufficient digital marketing competence, and increasing competition among private schools. Strengthening adaptive and innovative marketing strategies is essential for maintaining institutional competitiveness and sustaining student enrollment in Catholic private educational institutions.

Smart cities are trending as an innovative approach to address urban problems. This study aims to analyse the trend of research publications on smart cities in Indonesia with a bibliometric analysis approach. The articles used in this study were obtained from Scopus data. From 131 articles found in the scopus database between 2013 and 2024. The selected articles were then managed using biblioshiny and Vosviewer software. The results showed that publications related to smart cities experienced fluctuations from the last 10 years. The article with the most citations is entitled Strengthening waste recycling industry in Malang (Indonesia): Lessons from waste management in the era of Industry 4.0 has the most citations of 85 citations. While seen from the highest affiliation shows that Gadjah Mada University is an institution with a total of 70 publications. Mapping articles based on the relationship between keywords (co-occurance) is formed into 12 clusters, each cluster describes topics that are often discussed in smart city-related literature, such as urban planning, social networking, e-government, public services, urban development, sustainable development, internet of things (IoT), urban growth, economic, artificial intelligence, and secondary datum.

The increasing integration of internet technology in educational institutions requires structured network governance to ensure that digital resources support academic activities effectively. Unrestricted access to online platforms often leads to non-academic usage such as online gaming and social media engagement during instructional hours, which may reduce learning concentration and degrade network performance. This research develops and evaluates a network access control simulation using a MikroTik RouterBoard RB951Ui-2HnD device. The system applies firewall filtering mechanisms, hotspot-based authentication, and bandwidth allocation strategies through Simple Queue configuration. Network segmentation is implemented to differentiate teacher and student access privileges. The study adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach to design, configure, test, and evaluate the proposed system. Testing results indicate that the firewall configuration successfully restricts access to selected online games (Mobile Legends, Clash of Clans, Roblox) and social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Shopee, Instagram, Telegram). Furthermore, bandwidth management demonstrates effective traffic prioritization, ensuring more stable allocation for teacher accounts in accordance with configured maximum limits. The findings confirm that structured firewall and bandwidth policies can improve network discipline, enhance performance stability, and support a controlled digital learning environment in schools.

This study explores the intellectual structure and research trends surrounding ethnocentrism in multinational corporations (MNCs) through a bibliometric mapping approach, with particular attention to cross-cultural management and workforce diversity studies. An initial dataset of 200 records was retrieved using Publish or Perish from Google Scholar and Crossref, of which 96 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were retained following a PRISMA guided screening process. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer to examine keyword co occurrence, network relationships, and thematic density. The results indicate that ethnocentrism functions as a central organizing concept within the literature, closely associated with cultural differences, expatriation, workforce diversity, and organizational practices in multinational contexts. Temporal patterns observed in overlay and density visualizations suggest a growing scholarly emphasis on practice-oriented and context-specific perspectives, particularly in relation to managerial and organizational implications in global operations. Overall, this study offers a structured synthesis of existing research, highlights emerging thematic directions, and provides a foundation for future empirical and comparative inquiries into cultural diversity management in multinational corporations.

This study aims to analyze how the TikTok and Instagram Reels algorithms play a role in the distribution of multimedia content and their implications for content visibility, user engagement, and digital marketing practices. The research method used is a qualitative approach through a Systematic Literature Review by analyzing articles from accredited national journals and reputable international journals published in the period 2020-2025. The literature search process was carried out systematically through openly accessible scientific databases, then selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure the relevance and quality of the sources. The research findings show that the TikTok and Instagram Reels algorithms both rely on analysis of user behavior, initial engagement levels, and the characteristics of short-form audiovisual content in determining content distribution. TikTok emphasizes an interest-based recommendation system that allows content from new creators to gain broad reach, while Instagram Reels combines algorithmic recommendations with established social networks. The implications of this study emphasize that understanding the mechanics of algorithms is a strategic factor for content creators, business actors, and digital marketing practitioners in designing effective, adaptive, and sustainable multimedia content distribution strategies.

Nabire Regency in Central Papua Province confronts significant geographical complexities in transportation system development, characterized by hilly topography and limited road infrastructure that impacts community mobility efficiency. This research analyzes road route optimization through Geographic Information System (GIS) approach using QGIS 3.28.3 software with QNEAT3 plugin for network analysis. The research methodology applies network analysis considering multiple parameters including travel distance, travel time, road surface conditions, slope gradients based on Digital Elevation Model (DEM), and impedance factors according to infrastructure quality. Spatial data were obtained from Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) and OpenStreetMap (OSM) with analysis focusing on 8 origin-destination pairs representing critical movements to health facilities, education centers, and economic hubs. Analysis results identified alternative routes demonstrating 12.5-20% travel time efficiency compared to existing routes, with an average optimization of 15.7%. Field validation confirmed model prediction accuracy with error rates below 8%. These research findings provide strategic recommendations for local government in sustainable transportation infrastructure planning that can enhance regional accessibility and support local economic development in the Central Papua region.

This paper examines how Somaliland’s liberalized, privately led telecommunications sector, once a state monopoly and now dominated by local firms, has become a driver of economic growth, financial inclusion, and infrastructure development, with Telesom as the leading example. Drawing on sectoral history, market composition, and coverage data, the study shows how Telesom and its competitors have built nationwide networks, delivered low-cost services, and enabled mobile money-based financial services in the context of weak formal banking. Focusing on Telesom’s ZAAD platform, the paper analyzes its ecosystem business model (salary payments, merchant networks, and high-frequency transactions), its contribution to financial inclusion, and its alignment with international anti–money laundering and customer due diligence standards. At the same time, it identifies ethical and prudential gaps, especially the absence of formal deposit protection, limited transparency in financial reporting and taxation, and the lack of an independent telecommunications regulator, which pose risks to consumers and systemic stability. Overall, the paper argues that Telesom illustrates how sustainable finance in telecommunications can combine innovation, inclusion, and profitability, provided that stronger governance, disclosure, and consumer protection frameworks are implemented to secure long-term sector resilience.
