Digitalization has been a key catalyst for change in the global business landscape, driving the transformation of companies' strategies, organizational structures, and operational models. For small and medium enterprises (SMEs), digital technology opens up great opportunities to expand market reach and compete in the international arena more effectively. Technologies such as e-commerce, social media, big data analytics, and cloud-based platforms enable SMEs to break through geographical boundaries, facilitate access to global customers, and accelerate product distribution and marketing processes. This paper explores the current academic literature that discusses the influence of digital technology on the internationalization of SMEs. A total of five relevant studies were analyzed to identify common patterns, challenges, and successful strategies in the use of digital technology. The results of the study show that the adoption of digitalization not only improves operational cost efficiency, but also encourages business model innovation, such as digital platform-based marketing, cross-border virtual collaboration, and the development of a more adaptive global business ecosystem. In addition, the ability to utilize digital technology gives SMEs a competitive advantage through access to real-time market information, personalization of offers, and more targeted branding strategies. However, the research also found obstacles, such as limited human resources, technological infrastructure, and digital literacy among SMEs. Therefore, synergy is needed between business actors, the government, and academia to support the acceleration of digital technology adoption through training, mentoring, and policies that support innovation. The paper also highlights future research opportunities, such as the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, automation, and blockchain in supporting the global expansion of SMEs. These findings are expected to be a strategic reference in designing sustainable internationalization policies in the digital era.

Digital advertising has changed a lot, especially with the emergence of AI. AI allows companies to create more personalized and relevant ads, which improves the performance of their marketing campaigns. Significant ethical challenges must be addressed behind this innovation. One of the main issues is how AI can be used to generate unethical or even illegal content. This study uses a qualitative approach using a case study method on the CrushOn AI application that advertises on media platforms such as Meta. The results of the study showed that there were violations in the application because there were elements of pornography and porn action, considering that currently users of applications such as Instagram and Facebook are young teenagers, this is considered negative because it has violated the EPI book. There is a need for a clear ethical and regulatory framework for the use of AI technology in advertising. Collaboration with stakeholders, including advertisers and social media platforms, is essential to support ethical advertising practices.

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand awareness and product innovation on purchase decisions, with purchase intention as a mediating variable, among consumers of Kedai Kopi KULO. The research is motivated by the declining Top Brand Index of Kedai Kopi KULO over the past five years, indicating a potential drop in purchase decisions due to weak brand awareness and limited product innovation. A quantitative approach was used, employing Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS software. The results show that brand awareness does not have a direct and significant effect on purchase decisions, whereas product innovation has a positive and significant effect. Furthermore, both brand awareness and product innovation positively and significantly influence purchase intention, which in turn significantly mediates their effect on purchase decisions. These findings indicate that purchase intention plays a crucial role in bridging the influence of brand awareness and product innovation on consumers’ purchase decisions. Therefore, businesses should focus on enhancing product innovation strategies and increasing consumer purchase intention, along with building strong brand awareness, to improve purchase decisions and maintain competitiveness in an increasingly saturated market.

This research aims to explore the forms, meanings, and processes of innovation undertaken by traditional Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in facing the challenges of the digital era, with a particular emphasis on the role of local wisdom as a foundation for innovation. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research explores the subjective experiences of MSMEs integrating cultural values with technological transformation. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, which were then analyzed using thematic methods. The results show that innovation in traditional MSMEs is not solely focused on technological aspects, but rather is the result of negotiations between cultural values, social adaptation, and modern market demands. Local wisdom has proven to be a source of values and ethics in product development, marketing strategies, and the digital transformation process. The innovation process occurs contextually and gradually, and is heavily influenced by community support and strong local social networks. This study confirms that culture-based innovation strategies provide a more sustainable and inclusive direction for MSMEs navigating the digital era. Therefore, digital transformation should not be separated from the social and cultural context in which MSMEs are rooted. This approach opens up space for a new understanding of more holistic innovation, which is not only technology-oriented, but also strengthens local identity and social cohesion within the MSME ecosystem.

Entrepreneurs in the digital era face constant challenges that require adaptation and innovation. Although economic and managerial factors are often the focus, the role of psychological dimensions such as resilience and creativity in entrepreneurial success has not been widely reviewed in depth. This study aims to examine relevant theories and findings on psychological resilience and creativity in the context of entrepreneurship, and to build a conceptual framework to support entrepreneurial innovation. Using a qualitative literature study method, this study systematically searches, analyzes, and synthesizes scientific literature from various databases. The results of the synthesis indicate that psychological resilience is crucial for entrepreneurs to recover from failure and adapt to change. Characteristics such as optimism and emotional regulation are the pillars of mental resilience. Meanwhile, creativity is an innovation engine that facilitates the identification of new opportunities and the development of unique solutions. A synergistic relationship between resilience and creativity is also found: resilience provides a psychological buffer for taking creative risks, and the creative process can strengthen self-resilience. The theoretical implication is the need for a more holistic entrepreneurship model. In practice, this study recommends educational institutions, especially the Faculty of Psychology, to integrate the development of resilience and creativity into the entrepreneurship curriculum.

In the dynamic digital era, information and knowledge management becomes a crucial element in improving the effectiveness of organizational decision-making. Integration between Management Information Systems (MIS) and Knowledge Management (KM) is a strategic approach that can strengthen organizational capabilities in responding to internal and external challenges. Management Information Systems function as a tool in collecting, transmitting, and presenting relevant data, while Knowledge Management plays a role in collecting, storing, and distributing knowledge, both explicit and tacit, within the organization. This study aims to examine how the synergy between MIS and KM can improve the quality of managerial decisions, accelerate the flow of information, and support organizational innovation. The methodology used includes literature studies and descriptive analysis of the implementation of MIS-KM in various industrial sectors. The results of the analysis show that organizations that successfully integrate these two systems are able to create a collaborative, adaptive, and responsive knowledge-based work environment to change. In addition, this integration also encourages the alignment of business strategies with available knowledge, resulting in more appropriate and sustainable decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of infrastructure and the quality of human resources (HR) on economic competitiveness in Central Java Province. In the era of globalization, competitiveness is an important indicator of regional progress. Infrastructure such as transportation, electricity, and digital connectivity support economic efficiency, while quality human resources increase productivity and innovation. Despite their importance, development imbalances remain a challenge in Central Java. This study uses panel data from BPS and is analyzed using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method based on Chow and Hausman tests. The results show that together, infrastructure and human capital have a significant effect on economic competitiveness. However, separately, both have a negative and insignificant influence, with regression coefficients of -0.000195 for infrastructure and -0.0176 for human capital. The Adjusted R-squared value of 0.3149 indicates that 31.49% of the variation in competitiveness is explained by these two variables. This finding is important for determining the direction of future regional development policies.
