This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Trans Banten Program in supporting the development of public transportation in Serang City. The research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study, then analyzed interactively. The research results show that the Trans Banten Program is quite effective in increasing community accessibility and mobility, especially towards areas of education, government and public services. This service also provides economic benefits through reduced transportation costs and is supported by facilities that are relatively comfortable and safe for users. In addition, the increase in the number of passengers shows the public's acceptance and need for public transportation. However, the effectiveness of the program is not yet optimal because there are still obstacles in the form of fleet limitations, inaccurate operational schedules, passenger density during peak hours, and limited service information. Therefore, it is necessary to improve service quality, add fleets, and strengthen information systems to support the sustainability and optimization of the Trans Banten Program as public transportation in Serang City.

The development of social media has driven changes in digital marketing communication strategies, including within educational institutions such as Juara Academy. This study aims to analyze digital marketing communication strategies through Instagram in increasing student enrollment, identify gaps between social media performance and conversion rates, and formulate efforts to optimize these strategies. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, as well as the AIDA framework (attention, interest, desire, action). The results indicate that digital marketing communication strategies have been systematically implemented through the utilization of Instagram features such as feed, story, reels, and live to capture attention, build interest, generate desire, and ultimately encourage enrollment actions. However, a gap was found between high engagement levels and suboptimal enrollment conversions, influenced by technical factors such as inconsistent content posting and a lack of integration across communication stages. Strategic optimization is therefore necessary through strengthening content consistency, enhancing more personalized interactions, and leveraging persuasive approaches based on audience experience. This study provides practical contributions to the management of digital marketing communication as well as theoretical contributions to the development of social media–based marketing communication studies.

Student engagement remains a critical determinant of academic success in elementary education, yet traditional instructional approaches often fail to sustain meaningful participation. This narrative literature review synthesizes contemporary evidence (2020–2026) on the strategic planning of Case-Based Learning (CBL) and its impact on multidimensional student engagement in primary schools. Using Google Scholar as the primary database, peer-reviewed studies were screened and thematically analyzed to identify core planning components, engagement outcomes, and contextual implementation factors. The synthesis revealed five essential instructional design elements: developmentally appropriate case selection, structured scaffolding, explicit curriculum alignment, adequate temporal allocation, and authentic assessment. Empirical findings consistently demonstrate that well-planned CBL significantly enhances behavioral participation, cognitive deepening, and affective motivation among elementary learners. However, implementation success is heavily moderated by teacher pedagogical competence, institutional support, and adaptive resource utilization. These findings underscore the necessity of integrating CBL planning frameworks into teacher professional development and curriculum design. Ultimately, strategically designed case-based instruction offers a transformative pathway to reinvigorate elementary classrooms, though sustained adoption requires targeted training, flexible policies, and further longitudinal research on engagement trajectories in primary education.

This article reviews the history and transformation of madrasah management in Indonesia. Emerging in the early twentieth century, madrasahs developed as educational institutions that combined the traditional values of Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) with the organizational structure of modern schools. This study employs a literature review method to examine the evolution of madrasah governance from the colonial era to the reform era. The findings reveal three major stages in the development of madrasah management. The first stage was the early period, during which madrasahs were independently managed by religious leaders and Islamic organizations with limited government involvement. The second stage was the post-independence integration period, characterized by increasing government intervention in curriculum development, institutional regulation, and legal recognition. The third stage was the modernization era, marked by the issuance of the Joint Decree of the Three Ministers in 1975 and the enactment of the National Education System Law of 2003, which strengthened the position of madrasahs within the national education system and placed them on an equal footing with public schools. These developments encouraged madrasahs to adopt Madrasah-Based Management (MBM) as a strategy to improve educational quality, effectiveness, and competitiveness. Overall, the transformation of madrasah management reflects an adaptive process that enables madrasahs to respond to educational reforms and societal changes while maintaining their distinctive Islamic identity and educational mission.

This study aims to analyze the history of Islamic education management in Indonesia during the Dutch colonial period, identify colonial policies that restricted Islamic education development, and describe the adaptive and resistant responses of Muslim scholars and educational institutions. The study also aims to explain the roles of pesantren and madrasah as institutions that not only survived but underwent significant transformation due to colonial pressures, and to reveal the historical contribution of colonial-era Islamic education management as a foundation for post-independence Islamic education. Using a qualitative literature review method with sources primarily published between 2021 and 2026, this study finds that colonial pressures through the Teacher Ordinance and Wild Schools Ordinance paradoxically spurred innovations in the form of modern madrasahs integrating religious and general knowledge. Organizations such as Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama strengthened this educational transformation, making Islamic education not merely a vehicle for religious learning but an instrument of cultural resistance, national consciousness-building, and evidence of Muslim resilience in facing historical challenges.
