Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic Boarding School, founded in 1839, is one of the oldest pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Indonesia and plays a crucial role in educating the community and spreading Islamic teachings in the Probolinggo region. This study aims to analyze the strategies and implementation of religious education applied at this pesantren, focusing on the role of the caretakers (pengasuh) in determining policies and teaching methods within the pesantren environment. The research methodology includes interviews with relevant stakeholders, field observations, and a literature review related to the development of pesantren education. The results of the study indicate that Zainul Hasan Genggong applies a religious-based curriculum that integrates religious knowledge and life skills, with an active teaching approach. The caretakers of the pesantren play an important role in directing educational policies that align with the needs of the times, producing graduates who excel in religious fields and are ready to face global challenges.  

Madrasah plays an important role as a place to pass on the values of ahl al-sunnah wa al-jama'ah. Madrasah has the same status as general educational institutions and has the characteristics of the Islamic religion. The increasing phenomenon of juvenile delinquency and the declining quality of student character, strengthening the function of education as a character builder has re-emerged and become an urgent and inevitable demand. The purpose of this community service is to launch a national character education movement starting from early childhood education to college. This launch is expected to overcome the problem of low student character. The method used in community service activities with systematic, structured, measurable stages, and real results of the activities carried out, namely observation, orientation, introduction of materials, implementation, and evaluation. The results of community service, character education is important to be given to students because the formation of a child's character is obtained in the school environment. This service has a positive impact on students of MtS Nurul Huda Mendalo because students are able to understand the importance of Character Education being applied in social life. Students are able to provide examples of the application of Character Education after the material for developing Character Education is given. Through this activity, students can learn that character education is not only provided at the MtS level, but is provided up to the tertiary education level.

Educational institutions play a vital role in shaping human resources and adapting to rapid changes. To address globalization and technological challenges, they must implement effective and sustainable reforms, with strategic leadership as a key driver. This study examines the role of strategic leadership in designing and implementing renewal models in educational institutions. It identifies factors influencing success and offers recommendations for effective practices. Strategic leadership is crucial in enhancing educational quality and system effectiveness. Leaders act as internal change agents, develop innovative strategies, and coordinate resources to achieve reform goals. Using library research methods, this study reviews literature, including books, journal articles, and research reports on strategic leadership and educational reform. Data analysis involves identifying themes, theories, and best practices. Findings reveal that strategic leaders function as visionaries, motivators, facilitators, and resource managers. Their effectiveness depends on clear strategy formulation, consensus-building, and resistance management. Support from stakeholders, effective communication, and community involvement are pivotal for successful reform implementation. This study emphasizes the importance of strategic leadership in fostering transformative changes within educational institutions.

This study aims to analyze the school supervision program and the competence of supervisors in an effort to improve the quality of educators. The school supervision program is designed as a guideline for the implementation of the main tasks and functions of supervisors, which include academic supervision, managerial supervision, educational evaluation, as well as coaching principals and teachers in the assisted schools. Competencies required by supervisors include personality, managerial skills, academic supervision skills, educational evaluation, and research and development skills. This study emphasizes the importance of sustainable and planned supervision by referring to the results of previous supervision and prevailing education policies. The findings show that the implementation of an effective supervision program supported by the competence of qualified supervisors can improve the quality of the learning process and the performance of educators in the assisted schools. Thus, strategic supervision is a key factor in creating a quality education system.

Driving discipline is an important attitude that must be possessed by all drivers or drivers in order to arrive safely at their destination. Traffic violations still occur frequently, one of which is smoking and calling while driving. The Transportation Service is an implementing element of the Regional Government in the field of Transportation which has the main task, namely Organizing Government affairs in the field of land, sea and air transportation, in accordance with the Laws and Regulations. This type of research shows empirical juridical research, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and literature/document studies. The data collected is analyzed descriptively, the data that has been processed will be analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. The results of this study show: (1) The implementation of the duties and functions of the Kupang City Transportation Office for motorcyclists who smoke and call while driving is not / or has not been effective in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations. (2) There are several factors that hinder the implementation of the duties and functions of the Kupang City Transportation Office for motorcyclists who smoke and call while driving, including the legal factors themselves and the factors of facilities and infrastructure, namely the main obstacle is the unavailability of the budget. These two factors certainly have an interest that always hinders or affects the implementation of the rules regarding the prohibition of smoking and calling while driving, making the rules ineffective. Based on the results of the research, the author has several suggestions, namely improving the implementation of duties and functions for motorcyclists who smoke and call while driving, in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations and add educational programs and campaigns in the community related to the dangers of smoking and calling while driving, in addition to law enforcement must be carried out consistently by providing clear sanctions so that it has a deterrent effect,  and local governments need to allocate budgets to improve facilities and infrastructure that support control.      

This community service article discusses the contribution of students from the Impactful Campus Competition Program (PKKB) in improving the quality of education through coaching and training activities in sports in Semoyang Village, Praya Timur Subdistrict, Central Lombok Regency. This activity was carried out using a participatory action research method involving three main stages, namely planning, preparation, and implementation. In the planning stage, students and the community worked together to identify the needs and objectives of activities relevant to local potential. The preparation stage focused on developing training strategies, providing facilities, and coordinating with relevant parties. The implementation stage was carried out through sports coaching activities for children and adolescents using an educational and participatory approach. The results of the activity showed an increase in community awareness of the importance of sports from an early age, as well as a growing concern for environmental cleanliness and health. This program also played a role in strengthening social interaction, building a spirit of togetherness, and fostering community independence in managing sports activities. Overall, the PKKB activities in Semoyang Village have succeeded in creating positive synergy between universities and the community in supporting the development of healthy, competitive, and characterful human resources.

The purpose of this community service activity is to strengthen the concept of electrolysis for students of SMAN 1 Suwawa through interactive laboratory exercises, as well as to enhance students' understanding and practical skills related to the electrolysis process. The partners involved in this activity include the Principal, Chemistry Teacher, and all 12th-grade students of SMAN 1 Suwawa. The implementation method of the activity involves four main stages: a pre-test to measure initial understanding, providing material to reinforce the concept of electrolysis, conducting interactive laboratory exercises using electroplating tools, and a post-test to measure the improvement in students' understanding. The results of this activity show a significant improvement in the understanding of electrolysis concepts, with an N-Gain value of 76.8%, indicating the effectiveness of this method in improving students' learning outcomes. Based on these findings, it is recommended to continue applying interactive laboratory approaches in science education in secondary schools, as well as utilizing technology and interactive modules to support students' understanding of complex chemical concepts. Additionally, teacher training is also important to ensure the sustainability of effective laboratory-based learning.

This community service activity aims to improve technical aspects and workplace safety at GS4 Woodcraft MSME, Lowokwaru, Malang, through training on grounding systems and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). Grounding systems were taught and installed to mitigate the risks of electrical current leakage and touch voltage that could endanger workers. Additionally, OSH training was provided to raise workers' awareness of the importance of workplace safety, supported by the installation of OSH posters as visual educational media. The results of the activity showed an increase in workers' understanding of the concepts and implementation of grounding systems. The installed grounding systems, as an outcome of the training, successfully met the applicable grounding system standards in Indonesia. The OSH training also had a positive impact, with workers showing increased awareness of using personal protective equipment (PPE). The strategically placed OSH posters effectively reinforced visual reminders for workers to prioritize their safety.

Cigarettes have become a habit in society and bring negative effects to oneself and those around, one of which is the emergence of various diseases such as heart disease and vascular disorders. The method used in this community empowerment involves Rapid Rural Appraisal (RAA) by conducting physical interventions through several counseling sessions related to smoking issues and non-physical interventions in the form of installing no-smoking banners in homes. This empowerment activity was conducted in RW 04, Yudanagara Village, Cihideung, Tasikmalaya City. The community empowerment activities conducted include outreach and demonstrations as well as the installation of educational banners. The indicators of the success of the outreach are an increase in participants' knowledge through pre-test and post-test by 50% compared to their knowledge level before attending the outreach, as well as the implementation of a herbal drink-making demonstration. The educational banner contains content about the dangers of smoking indoors. The activities carried out were well-planned, and their implementation can be said to have gone smoothly and successfully.

The Community Service Programme at MA Mambaul Ulum Paiton focuses on improving the digital literacy of grade XII students through Microsoft Word training. This initiative addresses the urgent need for the students to acquire essential office software skills, which are critical for success in higher education and professional environments. The programme is implemented through three stages viz: planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. It starts with identifying students' skill gaps, designing a phased curriculum, and delivering hands-on practice-based training. Training sessions covered basic topics, including an introduction to the Microsoft Word interface, formatting and organising documents, as well as advanced features such as creating tables and creating charts. To maximise learning outcomes, training was conducted in small groups, using interactive teaching methods and continuous evaluation. The results showed significant improvements in students' competencies, demonstrating the programme's ability to effectively bridge the digital skills gap. In addition, the initiative also provides long-term benefits by improving students' readiness to face academic and professional challenges. This effort not only fulfils an educational need, but also strengthens the overall quality of education contributing to the growth of digital literacy in MA mambaul Ulum.

Educational innovation is the application of new ideas, methods or technology in the field of education which aims to improve the learning process, expand access to education and improve learning outcomes. This innovation involves changes to teaching approaches, curriculum, evaluation, and school management to create a more effective learning environment. This research aims to analyze and examine various theories and research results on educational innovation in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative research methods with literature studies. Education plays an important role in shaping a child's character and personality. Schools as formal educational institutions are not only tasked with imparting knowledge, but are also a place for the formation of social values, morals and behavior. (Cahyani et al., 2021) However, the reality shows that schools are often places where negative behavior emerges, one of which is bullying. The method used in this community service activity uses a participatory method by involving the school in the continuity of socialization activities. The approach taken is to direct and explain efforts to deal with the implications of bullying through the elementary school environment. The place of service was carried out at SDN Penikenek, Nagawutung District, Lembata Regency involving research subjects consisting of the Principal, teachers, students, grades 1-6. Community service activities with the title "educational services in overcoming the implications of bullying at SDN Penikenek in Penikenek Village, Nagawutung District, Lembata Regency". Penikenek Elementary School is an elementary school with 39 students and 11 teachers. This service activity takes place by providing material through outreach and donating wall magazines in the form of magazines related to bullying prevention. Implementation of the outreach program at SDN Penikenek is a strategic step designed to increase students' awareness and understanding regarding the dangers of bullying. In this activity, material about the definition, impact and ways to prevent bullying is delivered using a participatory method involving all elements of the school. This method has proven effective in creating open dialogue, building empathy, and increasing collective commitment to overcoming bullying.

This research develops a fruit classification system using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) in the educational application FruityLens, which helps children recognize different types of fruits through image recognition. The application can identify four types of fruits: apple, banana, orange, and watermelon, utilizing an image dataset from open sources. The research methods include dataset collection, image pre-processing, CNN model training, and classification accuracy evaluation. The results indicate that the developed CNN model achieves high accuracy, supporting children's learning about fruits. This implementation is expected to contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, specifically in the field of fruit object recognition.

This research discusses the importance of visionary leadership in improving the quality of education in a challenging global and local era. Through a literature study approach, this research analyzes various theories and findings related to the role of leadership in education. The results show that visionary leadership has a significant influence on improving the quality of education through innovation, long-term vision and adaptability. The research also identifies the main characteristics of effective visionary leadership and implementation strategies that can be applied in educational institutions. The conclusion of this study confirms that the implementation of visionary leadership is essential to build a quality and sustainable future for education.

The development of intelligent multimedia technology has had a significant impact on various sectors, especially in education, social, and cultural fields. This article discusses the latest trends in the use of intelligent multimedia and related technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Virtual Reality (VR), which have transformed the way we learn and interact with the world around us. In the context of education, intelligent multimedia enables a more personalized and adaptive approach to students' needs, enhancing educational accessibility, and reducing the educational gap between urban and rural areas. This technology also contributes greatly to creating a more interactive and engaging learning environment. On the other hand, the use of intelligent multimedia in social and cultural fields opens up opportunities to enrich local identities in the face of globalization, by incorporating traditional cultural elements into technology-based product designs. However, despite its many benefits, the implementation of intelligent multimedia technologies faces various challenges, such as infrastructure issues, limited budgets, and resistance from some educators who are not yet familiar with new technologies. Therefore, it is essential to ensure adequate digital literacy so that future generations can fully utilize this technology responsibly. In conclusion, intelligent multimedia has great potential to improve the quality of life, but its application must be carried out wisely, taking into account long-term impacts on society and culture.

The application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in campus facility management can enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness by monitoring the availability of rooms and equipment in real-time. This study aims to explore the basic concepts and implementation of IoT in managing campus facilities through document analysis. The results show that IoT can assist in managing classrooms and equipment, allowing campus managers to optimize facility usage, reduce wastage, and improve service quality. IoT implementation also facilitates the maintenance and replacement of faulty equipment by utilizing data generated from sensors. However, the main challenges in IoT implementation are related to technological infrastructure and data security, which require special attention to ensure the system operates effectively and securely. Overall, this study concludes that IoT technology provides a solution to improve campus facility management efficiency and supports the creation of a more modern and responsive educational environment.

Effective learning is the primary goal in education, but traditional teaching methods are often considered less engaging for students. This article analyzes the implementation of interactive teaching methods at MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya to enhance student participation and motivation. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the interactive method successfully creates a more dynamic learning environment, with students being more active in group discussions and presentations. This method also improved students' understanding of the material and their social skills, such as communication and collaboration. Overall, the interactive teaching method proved effective in enhancing the quality of learning and can be applied to other educational institutions.

Character education is a systematic effort that aims to shape an individuals personality holistically, including moral, ethical and noble values aspects that are important for social life. In its implementation, character education is integrated into various subjects, extracurricural activities, and the school environment that supports the creation of an educational atmosphere that encourages good character development. This research aims to investigate character value and the impact of character education as well as challenges in implementing character education using qualitative research methods, which use article review. Based on the method use to gain an understanding of character education material through journal sources, articles and also objects relevant to the research. The formation of religious character is an integral part of value-based education in Islamic educational institutions. This article discusses the program of habituating Dhuha prayer at MA NU Al-Faqihiyah, Gempol Pasuruan, as an effort to cultivate students' religious character. The community service method employed involves active participation with an educational and habituation approach through congregational Dhuha prayer activities. The program engages teachers as key facilitators in guiding students to understand the essence and practice of Dhuha prayer. The results indicate increased student commitment to performing Dhuha prayer, enhanced spiritual understanding, and the reinforcement of religious values such as discipline, gratitude, and responsibility. This article recommends the implementation of similar models in various educational institutions to support the development of Islamic character.

The Zachman Framework is one of the methods that can be used to design systems in a structured and comprehensive manner. This study aims to apply the Zachman Framework to design the academic system at SMA Al Kautsar Bandar Lampung, resulting in a blueprint that serves as a guide for system development. The research method involves mapping each perspective in the Zachman Framework, namely Planner (scope), Owner (business model), Designer (system model), and Builder (technology implementation). The findings indicate that the Zachman Framework ensures that all essential aspects of the system are considered, resulting in a structured enterprise architecture design that is efficient and meets stakeholder needs. Furthermore, this framework has proven effective in integrating data and synergizing business functions in the academic section, supporting optimal operations. The implications of this study suggest that the Zachman Framework can serve as an alternative solution for designing and developing an organized, directed, and easily implementable academic system, thus improving the efficiency of business processes in educational institutions.
