Law No. 12 of 2006 on Indonesian Citizenship is a significant step in citizenship law reform, responding to the challenges of globalization and international mobility. This law adopts the jus sanguinis principle as the basis for determining citizenship, with limited application of jus soli to prevent statelessness. Children born from mixed marriages between Indonesian and foreign nationals are allowed dual citizenship until they reach the age of 18. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Law No. 12 of 2006 in the contemporary social and political context, and to identify the challenges that arise in its application. The research employs qualitative analysis and literature reviews from academic journals and empirical data. The findings reveal challenges such as complex bureaucratic procedures, lack of public awareness of citizenship rights and obligations, and inadequate protection for Indonesian citizens abroad. It is recommended that administrative procedures be simplified through digitalization, citizenship education be enhanced, and the protection of Indonesian citizens overseas be strengthened. These improvements are expected to enable the law to be implemented more effectively and to better respond to the needs of Indonesian citizens in the global era.

Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax is one of the main sources of State revenue for development financing. In the implementation of PBB-P2 collection, there are still many people who are not aware of the rights and obligations in paying taxes, this is due to the fact that there is still very low public awareness and knowledge in paying taxes. Public awareness as taxpayers in paying taxes will increase if there is an understanding of taxes in society. This research is an empirical legal research where data is obtained directly from the research location. Two types and sources of data are used, namely: primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique uses interview guidelines and literature/journal studies. The results of this study show that: (1). Taxpayer income in Fatululi Village is still very low in taxpayer awareness, economic conditions and the influence of Covid-19. (2). The government's countermeasures are still lacking in socialization or counseling to the taxpayer community. Suggestions need to be further increased socialization or counseling to the public about understanding paying PBB and need to be emphasized the existing tax sanctions.

This study explores the social perceptions of dual citizenship in Indonesia from the perspectives of both Indonesian citizens and non-citizens, and compares these views with practices in other countries. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research utilizes in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and surveys to gather data from diverse stakeholders. The findings reveal that in Indonesia, dual citizenship is often perceived as a threat to national identity and unity, primarily due to concerns about divided loyalties. Conversely, non-citizens view dual citizenship as advantageous for accessing various services and opportunities. Comparative analysis with countries such as Germany and Canada shows that dual citizenship policies can be accepted and even considered beneficial for social integration and international relations. Based on these findings, policy recommendations include reforming citizenship laws, adjusting legal and regulatory frameworks, enhancing public awareness, providing support for individuals with dual citizenship, and conducting further research to explore the long-term impacts of dual citizenship.

Community empowerment in making environmentally friendly dish soap from lime extract and pandan leaves is not just a service activity. It is a movement that aims to change people's consumption patterns, protect the environment, and improve economic welfare. Toxins are toxic and harmful substances produced in products. This research focuses on the application of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) based investments in Indonesia, which emerged in response to the increasing global awareness of environmental and sustainability issues. While ESG in Indonesia is growing, many companies have yet to fully adopt these principles effectively, and there are epistemological challenges in understanding and translating ESG standards into the local policy context. The purpose of this research is to deeply analyze the concept and implementation of ESG-based investment from an epistemological perspective in Indonesian public policy. This research wants to identify the extent to which the Indonesian government understands and utilizes ESG-related information in investment policy and evaluate the effectiveness of the policy. The type of research is descriptive quantitative using a philosophical approach with literature study as a secondary data source, including policy documents, government reports, and academic publications related to ESG. The data is explored using concept analysis and existing theories to assess the application of ESG in economic policy. The findings show that although Indonesia has ESG-related policies, their implementation is often influenced by international pressure and legitimacy needs rather than real impact on sustainability. ESG policies in Indonesia also risk becoming a tool of “greenwashing,” where companies use it for image without concrete actions. This research recommends increased transparency and accountability in ESG reporting for such policies to deliver substantial change.

Persons with disabilities represent a diverse segment of society, facing unique challenges in accessing public services such as education, healthcare, and employment. In response, Indonesia ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) through Law No. 19 of 2011, which serves to promote, protect, and ensure equal rights and fundamental freedoms for individuals with disabilities. This commitment led to the enactment of Law No. 8 of 2016, replacing an earlier, more compassionate framework with one emphasizing equality and the protection of rights for persons with disabilities. The law defines individuals with disabilities as those facing long-term physical, intellectual, mental, or sensory limitations and emphasizes the necessity of special protections to uphold their rights and prevent discrimination. The method used in this study is a normative legal research method. This study evaluates the effectiveness of disability rights protection policies in Indonesia, revealing significant challenges despite the legal framework established by Law No. 19 of 2011. Access to education, healthcare, and employment remains limited due to inadequate facilities, discriminatory practices, and social stigma. Effective solutions require strengthening the legal framework, increasing awareness, and involving the disability community in policy planning. Furthermore, robust monitoring and enforcement mechanisms are essential for safeguarding rights. To enhance protections, improved coordination among ministries, ongoing training for service providers, inclusive education practices, and recognition of employers who hire individuals with disabilities are critical. These measures are vital for fostering a more equitable society and ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities are upheld sustainably.
