This study analyzes the patterns and dynamics of income inequality across districts and municipalities in Aceh Province during the 2022–2024 period using data from the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) published by Statistics Indonesia (BPS). A descriptive-comparative approach was employed with the Gini Ratio as the main indicator to examine spatial variations and inequality trends between urban and rural areas. The results show that Aceh’s Gini Ratio declined from 0.296 in 2022 to 0.294 in 2024, indicating a modest improvement in income distribution. The reduction in inequality mainly occurred in rural areas, while urban regions experienced a slight increase due to the concentration of economic activities among higher-income groups. Banda Aceh and Lhokseumawe recorded the highest inequality levels, whereas Aceh Tengah and Bireuen demonstrated relatively strong income equality. Overall, Aceh remains one of the provinces with low-income inequality in Indonesia but still faces challenges of structural disparities across regions. The findings highlight the need to shift policy orientation from redistributive equality toward productivity-based equality through regional economic integration, empowerment of micro and small enterprises, and the development of inclusive economic sectors to achieve equitable and sustainable growth..

In today’s rapidly changing global context, employee motivation has emerged as a strategic issue in human resource management, particularly in sustaining organizational productivity and competitiveness. Developments such as digitalization, economic uncertainty, and workplace transformation have prompted companies to focus more deeply on effective motivational approaches. Recognizing the role of motivation in influencing employee retention, productivity, and operational efficiency, this study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to map key concepts and empirical trends regarding the relationship between employee motivation and organizational performance. Grounded in theoretical frameworks such as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, and Self-Determination Theory, the study examines major drivers including leadership, compensation, and work-life balance. Findings reveal paradoxes in motivational strategy effectiveness across sectors and highlight research gaps, particularly in cross-industry approaches and integrative synthesis. This study provides valuable contributions for academics and practitioners in designing evidence-based, context-relevant motivation strategies aligned with the dynamics of modern organizations.

In the context of modern organizations that increasingly demand high productivity, employees’ emotional well-being is often overlooked in organizational design. This study aims to explore how a humanistic approach can be integrated into organizational design to create a work environment that is not only efficient but also supportive of emotional well-being. Using a literature review method complemented by interviews and observations of workplace dynamics, this study finds that organizations still tend to adopt bureaucratic and technocratic approaches that neglect employees’ psychological dimensions. As a result, issues such as burnout, decreased motivation, and low work engagement emerge. The findings highlight the need for a paradigm shift in organizational design—from a purely structural system toward a humanistic design that considers emotional needs. This study emphasizes that emotional well-being must be positioned as a strategic element in organizational design, not merely as a supplementary effort. Thus, work effectiveness and emotional well-being can be sustainably aligned.

This study aims to analyze the influence of working capital management, leverage, and institutional ownership on the profitability of consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period, while also examining company size as a moderating variable. The consumer goods sector, which has a large market potential in Indonesia, makes it essential to understand how these financial aspects affect company performance. Working capital management plays a crucial role in maintaining liquidity and operational efficiency, leverage determines the extent to which companies rely on debt financing, and institutional ownership reflects external monitoring that can drive managerial discipline. Company size is considered a moderating factor that could strengthen or weaken these relationships, especially in influencing profitability levels. Using a quantitative approach, the research findings reveal that each of the main variables—working capital management, leverage, and institutional ownership—partially and significantly affects profitability. More specifically, company size is found to moderate the effect of leverage on profitability, indicating that larger firms may be better positioned to optimize debt usage compared to smaller firms. This study not only provides empirical evidence regarding financial determinants of profitability but also enriches the discussion on how moderating factors such as firm size can influence the dynamics of corporate financial performance. The findings are expected to provide valuable insights for stakeholders, including managers seeking to optimize financial policies, investors evaluating company performance, and academics or researchers interested in exploring further implications for corporate governance and financial strategy in emerging markets like Indonesia. In conclusion, the study highlights the importance of managing financial variables strategically to sustain profitability in the highly competitive consumer goods industry.

The development of social media has transformed the way Generation Z constructs and presents their self-identity. One emerging phenomenon is the use of more than one Instagram account by a single user, known as the first account and second account. This study aims to analyze the use of multiple Instagram accounts by Generation Z in shaping self-image, using Erving Goffman's dramaturgical theory. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The informants consisted of eight 11th-grade students from SMK Negeri Nusawungu who actively used multiple Instagram accounts. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that the first account functions as the front stage, where informants present an ideal image with curated content and carefully managed impressions. In contrast, the second account serves as the back stage, used for freer, more spontaneous, and emotional self-expression, with a more selective and private audience. The seven key dramaturgical concepts—mystification, setting, front personal, role distance, stigma, impression management, and frame analysis—were identified in the online behavior of the informants. This study recommends the importance of digital literacy and social empathy in understanding the dynamics of youth identity in digital spaces.

The Sedekah Serabi tradition is one of the cultural heritages that developed in Empat Lawang Regency, South Sumatra Province. This tradition reflects a combination of local wisdom, religious values, and community togetherness. Historically, Sedekah Serabi is rooted in the tradition of post-harvest thanksgiving carried out by agrarian communities as a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the abundant crops. In its implementation, the community collectively makes serabi cakes and then donates them to neighbors, relatives, and children as a symbol of sharing sustenance and strengthening friendship. Over time, this tradition has not only become a form of thanksgiving, but has also developed into an annual cultural event that strengthens social identity and solidarity between residents. This study aims to explore the history, cultural values, and role of the Sedekah Serabi tradition in building social cohesion amid the dynamics of modern society.

This study aims to analyze the role of psychological assessment in improving the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services in educational settings through a qualitative literature review. Psychological assessment is a fundamental component in counseling practice that allows counselors to understand clients in depth and comprehensively. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature review that analyzes journal articles, textbooks, and relevant academic publications from 2015- 2025. The results of the study indicate that psychological assessment has two main roles: first, helping counselors understand the internal dynamics, cultural context, strengths, and resources of clients; second, providing various types of assessment instruments that can be selected according to needs, including personality, cognitive, emotional, behavioral, projective, multicultural, and technology-based assessments. Appropriate assessment not only functions as a diagnostic tool but also as a therapeutic intervention that encourages client self-awareness. The implementation of quality psychological assessment is the foundation for designing effective and responsive counseling services to the individual needs of students, so that it can improve the overall quality of guidance and counseling services in educational settings.

This study aims to analyze and identify the position, types, and ideal concept of curriculum within the educational system, particularly in the context of Indonesia's national education. The curriculum is regarded as the core of the educational system as it serves as the foundation for lesson planning, educational goal setting, material selection, and ensuring equitable access to quality education. The role of the curriculum in education carries strategic functions, including serving as a guide for teachers, a reference for evaluating the learning process, and a framework for developing students' holistic and sustainable competencies. The types of curriculumare classified based on orientation (traditional to modern), value systems (from humanistic to reconstructionist), and modes of implementation (theoretical or practical). This study employs a qualitative approach through literature review, drawing on educational books, peer-reviewed journal articles, and government policy documents. In the Indonesian context, the evolution of the curriculum from 1947 to 2023 reflects socio-political dynamics and shifts in global educational paradigms. The latest curriculum reform, known as Kurikulum Merdeka, represents an effort toward modernization and responsiveness to contemporary needs, emphasizing differentiated learning, character building, and flexibility in developing students' potential. The ideal curriculum concept proposed in this study is one that integrates academic, humanistic, technological, and social reconstruction approaches to create relevant, participatory, and meaningful learning experiences for students in addressing the challenges of the 21st century.

The increasing international awareness of environmental issues has had a significant impact on business orientation in various sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In the fashion industry, MSMEs are not only required to create innovations in product design and quality, but are also directed to adopt environmentally friendly practices that support sustainability throughout their business processes, from production to marketing. This study aims to examine in depth how the integration of green business strategies and sustainable marketing contributes to increasing the competitive advantage of fashion MSMEs in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 100 fashion MSME respondents selected based on relevant criteria. Data processing was carried out through multiple linear regression analysis accompanied by classical assumption tests with the help of SPSS software, so that the research results have a strong empirical basis. The research findings indicate a positive and significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, between the implementation of green business strategies and sustainable marketing on achieving competitive advantage. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.52 indicates that the two independent variables are able to explain more than half of the variation in competitive advantage possessed by MSMEs. The implications of these results confirm that the success of MSMEs no longer depends solely on product innovation, but also on the ability to integrate sustainability aspects into internal practices and external strategies. This research enriches the literature on sustainable management, particularly in the context of MSMEs in non-urban areas, while also providing practical input for the formulation of business assistance policies that are adaptive to market dynamics and increasingly complex environmental challenges. This research provides theoretical contributions to the literature on sustainable management in the context of MSMEs in non-urban areas, as well as practical implications for the development of business assistance policies that are more adaptive to environmental challenges.

This study examines the implementation of the local workforce priority policy in Bekasi Regency during the first six months of the new Regent's leadership (January–June 2025). Although Bekasi is known as a large industrial area with extensive job opportunities, February 2025 data shows that the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) remains high, at 8.87%, or far above the national average. This condition indicates that the policy based on Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 4 of 2016 has not been running optimally. The analysis results show that the policy implementation faces structural obstacles, one of which is the practice of co-optation in the form of brokering, nepotism, and rent-seeking, which undermine the principle of meritocracy. This situation has resulted in a decline in the quality of human resources recruited by companies and limited opportunities for local job seekers who actually have adequate competence. This report also discusses the legal aspects of the local priority policy, which essentially must be consistent with the principle of non-discrimination and the Supreme Court's decision emphasizing the importance of professionalism in the workplace. Thus, the existence of this policy is not only related to job opportunities, but also concerns the integrity of labor governance. To increase its effectiveness in the future, a comprehensive strategy is needed that includes strengthening regulations to be more adaptive to industry dynamics, increasing transparency and accountability in the recruitment process, developing the capacity of local human resources through targeted training programs, and strict monitoring and law enforcement mechanisms against abuses of authority. Through this integrated effort, it is hoped that the local labor priority policy in Bekasi Regency will not only be a formal instrument but will also be able to have a real impact in reducing unemployment and strengthening the competitiveness of the local workforce amidst the currents of industrial globalization.

This study aims to explore the dynamics of the role of Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) in driving business strategy, with a focus on identifying challenges and supporting factors for their implementation in the Indonesian financial sector. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with several HRBPs and line managers in financial sector companies, supported by observation and document analysis. The collected data were analyzed thematically. The results revealed three main challenges faced by HRBPs: (1) resistance to change within the HR function itself, (2) limited analytical and business competencies within HRBPs, and (3) a lack of understanding of the strategic role of HRBPs among line managers. Furthermore, the success of the HRBP role is strongly supported by three key factors: full support from top management, quality collaboration with line managers, and the use of information technology for efficiency and data analysis. This study provides practical guidance for companies, particularly in the financial sector, to optimize the strategic role of HRBPs through competency development programs, organizational culture change, and technology support. This research provides an in-depth empirical overview of the actual practices and complexities of implementing the HRBP model in the Indonesian context, a topic rarely explored.

This research aims to describe the role of the receptionist in carrying out their duties and responsibilities at Lanta Nice Beach Resort, Thailand, and to analyze the challenges faced during work, especially during the high season. The receptionist plays a vital role as the resort's frontliner, responsible not only for check-in and check-out services but also for handling reservations, promoting events, managing daily financial administration, and assisting with various other tasks beyond the core job description. Based on direct observation and interviews with the management, it was found that a limited number of staff is one of the main challenges, resulting in a high workload for the receptionist. This study also identifies five key strategies to face these challenges: multitasking ability, effective time management, strong interpersonal communication, mastery of reservation systems, and proactive guest service and event promotion. The findings of this research are expected to provide real insights into the dynamics of working in the hospitality industry, particularly in the front office department of a resort.

Mount Batur's jeep tourism has recently become one of the most in-demand natural tourism activities in Bali. However, behind its popularity, there is a lack of understanding regarding the management pattern and collaborative mechanisms among local actors. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of community-based tourism governance in Batur jeep tourism through a qualitative descriptive method using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research finds that while the community plays a central role in operations, there is still a semi-formal governance structure with limited documentation and control mechanisms. From the perspective of the POAC management approach, the practices excel in execution (actuating) but are weak in planning and controlling. In terms of visitor experience, the tourism product already incorporates entertainment and escapism dimensions but lacks strong educational and aesthetic components. The study concludes that the jeep tourism in Batur has succeeded in mobilizing local resources and building an economic movement, yet it requires the strengthening of management structures, storytelling-based education, and environmentally sound standard operating procedures (SOPs). These steps are essential to ensure sustainability and long-term tourist satisfaction.

In the digital era, government public communications face complex new challenges, particularly in building positive public perceptions of government performance. Digital transformation has changed patterns of interaction between the government and the public, creating an increasingly critical, connected, and participatory society. The primary issue in this research is the effectiveness of government Public Relations (PR) digital communication strategies in responding to the dynamics of this digital society. The research focuses on how innovations in government PR communication content influence public perceptions in the context of digital public communications. This research uses a Rapid Review approach, analyzing nine relevant scientific articles published in 2025 and applying the ADO(Antecedent–Decision–Outcome) framework. Three main theories serve as the basis for the analysis: Government Communication Theory, Image Management Theory, and Digital Public Participation Theory. The findings indicate that the success of government public communications in the digital era is significantly influenced by three main factors: first, innovative, creative and interactive content that attracts attention and builds engagement; second, a two-way communication strategy that adapts to public feedback; and third, consistency in shaping and maintaining a positive and credible digital narrative. Furthermore, this research reveals that participatory and open digital communication can increase public trust, reduce disinformation, and strengthen the legitimacy of government institutions. Thus, this research provides a practical contribution to the development of public communication strategies that are more participatory, inclusive, and responsive to the dynamics of the digital era. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for government communication practitioners in designing effective and relevant public communication policies amidst the rapid and competitive flow of information.
