The construction and infrastructure sectors are shifting toward lighter, low-emission, and sustainable materials in response to the high carbon footprint and excessive weight of common materials such as concrete and steel. One promising alternative widely developed is natural fiber–based composites. However, studies comparing mechanical properties of variations of natural fibers within a single framework remain limited. This study aims to evaluate and compare composite mechanical properties reinforced by sisal fiber, bamboo fiber, and pineapple leaf fiber to determine the optimal fiber type for sustainable infrastructure applications. The research methodology involved fabrication of composite specimens using a unidirectional fiber configuration with a resin matrix, molded following ASTM D638 Type I dimensional and geometrical requirements. Tensile testing was conducted to evaluate mechanical responses, including ultimate tensile behavior, deformation characteristics, and elastic properties, which were presented in tabular and graphical forms. The results show that incorporation of all natural fiber types significantly enhanced composite mechanical properties, exhibiting an average tensile strength of approximately 26 MPa. Pineapple leaf fiber demonstrated balanced mechanical behavior combining strength and ductility, while sisal fiber showed superior tensile resistance and rigidity. Bamboo fiber provided moderate mechanical improvement. Overall, natural fiber–reinforced composites demonstrate strong potential as environmentally friendly alternative materials for infrastructure applications, with mechanical characteristics adjustable based on reinforcing fiber type.

This article analyzes the application of the hierarchy of norms in the decisions of the Constitutional Court concerning Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health using the perspective of Hans Kelsen’s Stufenbau theory. The enactment of the Health Law has generated significant legal debate and several constitutional review petitions submitted to the Constitutional Court, raising questions about the consistency between statutory norms and constitutional principles. This study aims to examine how the Constitutional Court applies the principle of hierarchical norms in reviewing the constitutionality of the Health Law and to assess the relevance of Stufenbau theory in explaining the interpretation of legal norms in constitutional adjudication. This research employs a normative juridical method using statute, conceptual, and case approaches. Primary legal materials consist of the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health, and relevant Constitutional Court decisions, supported by secondary legal materials from academic literature and legal studies. The findings show that the Constitutional Court consistently positions the 1945 Constitution as the highest norm within the Indonesian legal system and uses the hierarchy of norms as the basis for evaluating the validity of statutory provisions. The Court maintains the legal force of the Health Law when no normative conflict with the Constitution is identified, while in certain cases it provides constitutional interpretation to ensure the compatibility of statutory norms with constitutional principles. This study demonstrates that Stufenbau theory remains relevant as an analytical framework for understanding the hierarchical structure of legal norms and the operation of constitutional review within the Indonesian legal system.

Working memory (WM) has been extensively studied as a cognitive factor influencing second language acquisition (SLA), but many studies treat it as a static, trait-like capacity. This approach provides limited insight into how WM works across different stages of development, proficiency levels, and learning contexts. This article combines theoretical and empirical research on working memory in SLA from a dynamic and developmental perspective, analyzing how the influence of WM varies over time and interacts with other cognitive and contextual factors. Referencing Baddeley's multicomponent model, complex dynamic systems theory, and longitudinal research, this article examines evidence regarding the role of WM in various language domains, including vocabulary learning, grammar processing, and language production. It also investigates how WM works differently at various proficiency levels and developmental periods, from childhood to adulthood. Evidence suggests that WM plays a very strong role in the early stages of learning when processing is effortful and controlled, but becomes less central as linguistic knowledge becomes automated. The relationship between WM and SLA appears to be bidirectional, with sustained language learning contributing to the development of specific WM components, particularly executive control. The influence of WM varies significantly based on task characteristics, teaching context, and learner profiles. Understanding WM as a dynamic resource rather than a fixed constraint has important pedagogical implications. Instructions that manage cognitive load, provide support, and encourage metacognitive awareness can help learners with diverse cognitive profiles. A developmental approach in WM research requires longitudinal designs and task-aligned methodologies to capture changes over time, thereby advancing theory and practice in SLA.

The foundation of turbine machines in industrial buildings must be able to withstand static and dynamic loads caused by operational vibrations. Generally, reinforced concrete block foundations are used due to their good stability. However, under certain conditions such as limited land, decreased soil bearing capacity, and the need for structural rehabilitation, their application becomes less effective. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the use of Micropile foundations as an alternative for turbine machine foundations at Candi Baru Sugar Factory, Sidoarjo. The research method includes literature studies, soil data collection through Cone Penetration Test (CPT), machine technical data analysis, and the design and analysis of Micropile foundations. The analysis covers bearing capacity, settlement, dynamic response, pile cap design, and cost estimation. The results indicate that Micropiles with a diameter of 0.20 m, a length of 2 m, five piles, and a pile cap size of 2 m × 2 m × 4.5 m are able to safely and stably support the machine load. In addition, this system is considered more efficient in terms of construction time and implementation. Therefore, Micropile foundations are recommended as an effective and economical alternative for turbine machine foundations.

This literature review explores how entrepreneurs act as pragmatic experimenters when navigating uncertainty, focusing on three interrelated cognitive processes: causal inference, feedback interpretation, and heuristic adaptation. Drawing on recent empirical and theoretical studies, the review synthesizes how entrepreneurs learn through iterative experimentation, adjust mental models based on ambiguous feedback, and develop heuristics to guide decision-making in unpredictable environments. The findings suggest that entrepreneurial success is often linked to adaptive learning strategies rather than predictive accuracy. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of bounded rationality and cognitive flexibility in entrepreneurial contexts, offering insights for future inquiry into how entrepreneurs balance action and learning under uncertainty.

This study aims to analyze the feasibility and sensitivity of shallot farming as seed production using a low cost greenhouse system in Hasara Dodo Farmer Group, Nias Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach with a case study method. The data used include production costs, yield, selling price, and greenhouse investment components, which were analyzed using cost, revenue, income, and R/C ratio calculations, as well as sensitivity analysis. The results show that the total production cost is Rp205,200,000 per hectare per planting season, with total revenue of Rp510,000,000 and income of Rp304,800,000. The R/C ratio value of 2.48 indicates that the farming is financially feasible. Sensitivity analysis results show that the farming remains feasible even under a 10% decrease in selling price, increase in production cost, and decrease in production, with the R/C ratio still greater than one. The use of a low cost greenhouse system is proven to improve production stability, especially in areas with high rainfall. In addition, shallot production as seed provides higher economic value compared to consumption purposes. Therefore, greenhouse-based shallot farming has strong potential to be developed as a strategy to increase farmers' income.
