Understanding mathematical concepts is a fundamental ability that elementary school students must possess, particularly in multiplication, which serves as a foundation for learning more advanced mathematical topics. Based on the conditions observed in the fourth-grade class at UPT SDN 185 Gresik, there are still students who do not fully understand the concept of multiplication, as the learning process tends to emphasize memorization rather than conceptual understanding. In addition, differences in learning styles and gender are suspected to influence students’ conceptual understanding abilities. Therefore, this study aims to describe the conceptual understanding of fourth-grade students in multiplication, viewed from their learning styles and gender. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method, with six fourth-grade students of UPT SDN 185 Gresik as the research subjects. Data were collected through learning style questionnaires, concept understanding tests and questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, based on indicators of conceptual understanding. Data validity was ensured using triangulation of techniques, sources, and time. The results of the study indicate that auditory learners tend to have better conceptual understanding compared to visual and kinesthetic learners, and female students outperform male students. Based on these findings, teachers need to implement differentiated instruction tailored to students’ learning styles: using diagrams, images, and colored multiplication tables for visual learners; applying discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and repeated verbal explanations for auditory learners; and utilizing concrete teaching aids along with hands-on activities for kinesthetic learners to optimize conceptual understanding.

Iron deficiency anemia remains a major public health problem among pregnant women in Indonesia, with a national prevalence of 37.1% and higher rates in regions such as Brebes Regency. Adequate nutritional knowledge and sufficient iron intake are expected to prevent decreases in hemoglobin (Hb) levels during the third trimester. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nutritional knowledge, iron intake adequacy, and Hb levels among third-trimester pregnant women at Puskesmas Brebes. An analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted on 62 respondents using total sampling. Data were collected through a nutritional knowledge questionnaire, a Semi-Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ) to assess iron intake based on the Recommended Dietary Allowance of 27 mg/day, and Hb measurement using a digital device. The prevalence of anemia was 32.3%, with a mean Hb level of 11.25 ± 1.74 g/dL. Most respondents had high nutritional knowledge (72.6%), but 79.0% had inadequate iron intake. Chi-Square analysis showed no significant relationship between nutritional knowledge and Hb levels (p=0.109) or between iron intake adequacy and Hb levels (p=0.426). Other factors, including iron absorption inhibitors, compliance with iron supplementation, nutritional status, and limited sample size, may have influenced the results.

This study aims to examine the effect of HR Analytics, competency development, and leadership support on employee performance with organizational agility as a moderating variable among employees of the Department of Industry and Trade of Lampung Province. This research employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires and analyzing the data using SEM-PLS. The results show that competency development and leadership support have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while HR Analytics has no significant effect. Organizational agility does not moderate the relationship between HR Analytics, competency development, leadership support, and employee performance. These findings suggest that while HR Analytics may not directly influence performance, the development of competencies and strong leadership support remain critical to enhancing employee outcomes. Furthermore, the lack of a moderating effect from organizational agility indicates that factors beyond agility, such as employee training programs and leadership practices, play a more crucial role in driving performance. This study highlights the importance of strengthening employee competencies and leadership support to improve employee performance in government institutions. Further research could explore other potential moderating factors in this context.
