This study aims to analyze the significant role of leadership, motivation, work discipline, and compensation in improving employee performance at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IV Semarang. This research adopts a quantitative associative approach, providing a clear understanding of the key factors that influence employee performance. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, which was distributed to 80 respondents who are permanent employees of Daop IV Semarang. The data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 26, which included validity and reliability tests, as well as multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results reveal that leadership, motivation, work discipline, and compensation all have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Among these variables, motivation was found to be the most dominant factor influencing performance. This finding suggests that fostering higher motivation and effective leadership can significantly enhance employee performance. This research provides practical implications for PT KAI management to enhance productivity through strengthening discipline culture, implementing fair compensation systems, and promoting participative leadership styles.

The purpose of this research is to analyze how strategies for collecting and managing Third Party Funds (DPK) affect the profitability level of Bank Jatim. As the bank’s main funding source, the effectiveness of DPK management significantly determines its ability to distribute credit, maintain liquidity, and improve financial performance. This research applies a qualitative descriptive methodology within a case study framework at Bank Jatim, with data collected through comprehensive field observations. conducted during the MBKM internship program in the Accounting and Financial Management Division, complemented by the analysis of Bank Jatim’s financial statements for the 2024–2025 period. The findings reveal that the 15% growth in DPK in 2024 positively contributed to the increase in productive assets, net interest margin (NIM), and return on assets (ROA). Bank Jatim’s main strategies include increasing the proportion of low-cost funds (CASA), digitalizing services through the JConnect application, collaborating with local governments, and providing exclusive services for priority customers. These approaches not only promote the growth of low-cost funds but also strengthen customer loyalty and the bank’s competitiveness amid the evolving banking landscape. The study concludes that innovative, efficient, and digitally based DPK management enhances Bank Jatim’s profitability and reinforces its role as a regional development bank. The study recommends strengthening financial literacy among the public and diversifying deposit products to expand the customer base..      Keywords: Third Party Funds, Bank Jatim, Profitability, Digital Banking, Financial Management Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana strategi penghimpunan dan pengelolaan Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) berpengaruh terhadap tingkat profitabilitas Bank Jatim. Sebagai sumber pendanaan utama, efektivitas pengelolaan DPK memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga kemampuan bank untuk menyalurkan kredit, mempertahankan likuiditas, serta meningkatkan kinerja keuangan secara keseluruhan. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus pada Bank Jatim. Data dikumpulkan melalui kegiatan observasi langsung di lapangan. program magang di Divisi Akuntansi dan Manajemen Keuangan, serta melalui analisis laporan keuangan Bank Jatim periode 2024–2025.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan DPK sebesar 15% pada tahun 2024 memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan aset produktif, Net Interest Margin (NIM), dan Return on Assets (ROA). Strategi utama yang diterapkan Bank Jatim mencakup peningkatan proporsi dana murah (CASA), digitalisasi layanan melalui aplikasi JConnect, kolaborasi dengan pemerintah daerah, serta penyediaan layanan eksklusif bagi nasabah prioritas. Strategi tersebut tidak hanya berhasil mendorong peningkatan dana murah, tetapi juga memperkuat loyalitas nasabah dan daya saing Bank Jatim di tengah ketatnya persaingan industri perbankan.Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan DPK yang inovatif, efisien, dan berbasis digital berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan profitabilitas Bank Jatim sekaligus memperkuat perannya sebagai bank pembangunan daerah. This study examines the effect of employee competency development, performance evaluation, and remuneration on employee performance at the Religious Affairs Offices (KUA) in West Jakarta. As a public institution responsible for delivering administrative and community religious services, KUA faces challenges in ensuring effective human resource performance amid bureaucratic constraints and limited performance-based incentives. The study aims to analyze how the three human resource management (HRM) dimensions competency development, evaluation, and remuneration affect overall employee performance. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed using a structured questionnaire distributed to 120 employees across eight KUA offices. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by descriptive and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that performance evaluation and remuneration have significant positive effects on employee performance, while competency development shows a positive but statistically insignificant effect. The model explains 49% of the variation in employee performance, suggesting that transparent evaluation systems and performance-based remuneration play a greater role than training programs alone in improving public service effectiveness. The findings contribute to strategic HRM theory by confirming that evaluation and reward mechanisms strengthen the link between competency and performance. It is concluded that integrating developmental, evaluative, and compensatory functions within a unified HR framework can enhance productivity and accountability in Indonesia’s public sector institutions.

The development of information technology has had a significant effect on the management of accounting information systems (AIS) within organizations, including Savings and Loan Cooperatives (KSP). This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of information technology sophistication, top management support, and personal capability on the performance of accounting information systems (AIS) in Savings and Loan Cooperatives (KSP) in Badung Regency. The implementation of an effective AIS is essential to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the relevance of financial information to support managerial decision-making in the digitalization era. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative design. The research population includes all registered and active KSP employees who have used information systems in Badung Regency, with a sample of 90 respondents determined through the purposive sampling method. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that information technology sophistication has a positive and significant effect on AIS performance, top management support has a positive and significant effect on AIS performance, and personal capability has a positive and significant effect on AIS performance.

This systematic literature review examines the effectiveness of game-based learning (GBL) interactive e-modules in improving students' learning concentration. The study synthesizes the findings from eight research articles published between 2012 and 2025. The analysis reveals that GBL-based e-modules significantly enhance learning motivation, with validity rates ranging from 90% to 99%. Additionally, the use of interactive platforms such as Wordwall, Gimkit, and other digital tools effectively supports various learning styles, particularly visual and kinesthetic learners. The review highlights that student engagement levels improve significantly, ranging from 67.42% to 87.12%. Furthermore, these e-modules positively impact learning outcomes, providing a more engaging and interactive approach to education. By integrating gamification elements, the e-modules create a dynamic and motivating learning environment that fosters better concentration and focus among students. The review concludes that GBL-based e-modules are an effective educational strategy, particularly in geography education at the high school level. These tools not only engage students in a fun and interactive manner but also improve their ability to focus, leading to enhanced learning experiences. As a result, incorporating GBL-based e-modules in educational practices can contribute to better learning concentration and overall academic performance.

This classroom action research (CAR) aims to improve students’ English-speaking skills in formal communication contexts. The study focuses on second-semester students of the Business and Professional Communication Study Program at Politeknik Negeri Madiun in the 2024/2025 academic year. The main problem addressed is the students’ low ability to speak English formally and fluently. The objective is to determine whether watching YouTube videos can enhance students’ formal speaking performance. The research employed both qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative data were obtained from students’ performance scores before and during the implementation, while quantitative data were gathered through observations, questionnaires, and interviews to compare pre-test and post-test results. The intervention used several active viewing techniques, including active viewing, freeze framing and prediction, silent viewing, and reproduction activity. The findings indicate a consistent improvement in students’ speaking abilities across all research cycles. The average scores increased from 61.1 in the pre-test, to 63.6 in post-test Cycle I, 66.6 in Cycle II, and 70.0 in Cycle III. These results demonstrate that integrating YouTube videos with active viewing techniques effectively enhances students’ formal speaking competence. In conclusion, the use of interactive video-based learning can significantly support the development of English-speaking skills in formal contexts for vocational students.

Research aims to explore the influence of robo-advisor usage, trust in artificial intelligence (AI), financial literacy, and risk tolerance on investment behavior and its impact on the portfolio performance of retail investors in Indonesia. This study applies a quantitative approach, collecting data from 100 respondents who use investment applications such as Bibit, Ajaib, and Bareksa through the distribution of structured questionnaires with a 5-point Likert scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The results indicate that the four independent variables robo-advisor usage, trust in AI, financial literacy, and risk tolerance significantly affect investment behavior, which in turn has a positive effect on portfolio performance. High trust in AI combined with strong financial literacy fosters more disciplined and rational investment behavior. These findings highlight the importance of effective AI technology integration, improving financial literacy, and managing risk preferences to enhance investment decision-making quality and financial well-being. The study contributes to behavioral finance literature and offers practical implications for fintech developers and policymakers in emerging markets.

Employee performance is one of the key indicators in assessing the quality of human resources within an organization or company. To improve performance, companies generally implement various strategies, such as training programs, educational development, enforcement of work discipline, motivational efforts, and the management of a supportive work environment. This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, work discipline, and organizational climate on employee performance at The Kayon Resort Ubud. This research involved all employees of The Kayon Resort Ubud as the population. The sampling technique used was a saturated sampling method, in which the entire population was included as the research sample, totaling 71 respondents. To analyze the relationships between variables and test the hypotheses, multiple linear regression analysis was employed. The results of the study indicate that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Likewise, work discipline and organizational climate also have a positive and significant influence on employee performance at The Kayon Resort Ubud. Based on these findings, future researchers are encouraged to expand the study by including other variables that may affect employee performance.

Green accounting procedures have been adopted by numerous companies in response to the growing global focus on environmental responsibility. Nonetheless, monetary instability is still a major obstacle that can reduce productivity in Indonesia's manufacturing sector. The purpose of this research is to analyze industrial businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023 and see how green accounting, financial crisis, and earnings management affect financial performance. The population in this study consists of 68 industrial sector companies, with a sample of 7 companies selected through purposive sampling based on 4 criteria. We used EViews software and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) for a quantitative approach. First, financial distress has a significant impact on financial performance. Second, green accounting has a significant positive effect on financial performance. Third, earnings management does not moderate the relationship between financial distress and financial performance. Fourth, earnings management does not moderate the relationship between green accounting and financial performance. With an Adjusted R-Square value of 79.73%, the study model has a high level of explanatory power. It may be used to explain the majority of the variation in financial performance. This shows that the constructed model is applicable and fits the empirical data well. Transparent reporting and real sustainability initiatives are still vital for improving company results, according to these results, as profits management methods do not change the impact of environmental and financial variables, which are important drivers of performance.

Employee performance is a key factor in supporting organizational success, particularly in public service companies like Perumda Air Minum Tirta Moedal Semarang City. Various factors can influence performance, including perceived organizational support, work motivation, and individual competence. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support, work motivation, and competence on employee performance. This study used a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of Perumda Air Minum Tirta Moedal Semarang City. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression to determine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of this study are expected to demonstrate that perceived organizational support, work motivation, and competence have a significant and positive influence on employee performance. These findings are expected to provide a basis for management in formulating human resource development policies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of company services. This research also provides theoretical contributions to the field of human resource management and practical implications for employee performance management in regional companies.

The development of the business world in the digital era requires every company to adapt quickly and implement innovative strategies in order to remain competitive. PT Eurotruk Transindo Samarinda faces increasingly fierce competition due to the emergence of various new companies in various sectors, thus requiring optimal human resource management that is in line with the dynamics of digital transformation. This study aims to analyze the influence of non-physical work environment, job satisfaction, and motivation on employee performance at PT Eurotruk Transindo. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and the distribution of questionnaires to 50 respondents, which were then analyzed using statistical tests with the assistance of SPSS version 31. The results of the study indicate that non-physical work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, while job satisfaction does not have a significant impact. Simultaneously, all three variables have a significant impact on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of aligning human resource management strategies with business transformation to enhance employee performance and maintain competitiveness in the digital era.

Low nutritional awareness and high consumption of unhealthy snacks remain critical issues among elementary school children, potentially affecting their growth and academic performance. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a nutrition education intervention using poster media and paper-based quizzes in improving nutritional awareness among fourth to sixth grade students. The community service activity was conducted by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) students as part of the Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) program in three elementary schools SD Negeri 1, 2, and 3 Kalirancang, Kebumen Regency. A descriptive-evaluative approach was employed through participatory engagement using simple, low-tech educational media to address technological limitations in the school environment. Data were collected from quiz score analyses and participatory observations during the intervention. The results showed a high participation rate (80–90%) and a substantial improvement in students’ cognitive understanding of nutrition, as indicated by the majority of correct quiz responses. However, behavioral observation revealed a noticeable gap between knowledge and practice, as many students continued to consume unhealthy snacks during school breaks. It can be concluded that poster and quiz-based interventions are effective in enhancing students’ nutritional knowledge but are insufficient to alter behavior without supportive environmental and policy interventions at the school level.

School-Owned Enterprises (BUMES) and the public relations division of the madrasah play a strategic role in supporting institutional development through systematic and sustainable program planning and implementation. BUMES functions not only as the school’s entrepreneurship unit but also as a bridge for collaboration with external institutions, including universities, government agencies, and international partners. During specific periods, particularly toward the end of the academic year, the intensity of cooperation increases, marked by the execution of several strategic programs. In addition to routine activities such as internships at BBDB, BUMES and the public relations division also initiate innovative programs, including a student exchange program to Thailand. This initiative aims to expand global networking, strengthen student competitiveness, and provide cross-cultural learning experiences. All programs are designed through organized planning processes from the beginning of the semester, taking into account relevance, sustainability, and implementation efficiency. This ensures that each activity aligns with the vision and needs of the madrasah while maximizing benefits for students and the institution. The implementation of these programs demonstrates that the synergy between BUMES and the public relations division significantly enhances educational service quality, strengthens institutional image, and supports comprehensive improvement in school performance.

This study aims to determine the extent to which certain profitability ratios, such as ROA and ROE, influence bank health, moderating these variables using Good Corporate Governance reports. A quantitative approach is used in this study, and secondary data from previous years are required for testing, sourced from PT. BPR BKK Purwodadi's report data. These findings demonstrate that companies with high profitability have incentives to maintain bank health, as this reflects effective operational and managerial performance. Furthermore, organizations with good corporate governance (GCG) generally have greater resources and a robust organizational structure, providing them with more opportunities to maximize performance. This study is expected to provide new perspectives on bank health maintenance practices, particularly for business entities in the banking sector. Particularly in the strategically significant banking industry, the results of this study are crucial for authorities such as the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to understand the relationship between corporate profitability, good corporate governance (GCG), and bank health. This understanding helps in developing more appropriate policies to maintain economic stability and financial fairness. The emphasis on business entities in the regional government-owned banking sector (Perseroda) during 2020 to 2024, a dynamic period with economic fluctuations, banking policy transformations, and major geopolitical challenges, distinguishes this study.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate how transformational leadership style, work motivation, and work discipline affect employee performance at the Alpha Indonesia Foundation in Central Java. The social background of the foundation, which includes various issues related to human resources and workplace dynamics, highlights the importance of this study. Using a census strategy, all 49 employees participated as respondents in this survey-based quantitative approach. A closed-ended questionnaire based on a Likert scale that had undergone validity and reliability testing to ensure measurement accuracy was used to collect data. The partial and simultaneous effects of these factors were evaluated using multiple linear regression analysis. Regardless of worker performance. The results of the study show that work motivation increases productivity, work discipline encourages regularity and consistency in job performance, and transformational leadership significantly improves employee morale. Overall, it has been proven that these three factors have a significant impact on the performance of agency employees. These results highlight the importance of intrinsic motivation, work discipline, and inspirational leadership as critical components in maximizing employee performance, especially in non-profit organizations involved in social and educational development.

Every year, companies are required to prepare financial reports that include information on their financial condition, performance, and cash flow. This report demonstrates management's accountability for the resources they manage. One of the most important elements in this report is profit. This profit figure is closely monitored by report users, as it is considered a key measure of management's achievements and performance. However, in their financial management, manufacturing companies often face problems related to earnings management practices. Earnings management is an attempt by company management to manipulate or arrange financial reports, especially profits, for specific purposes. This practice can be carried out to demonstrate better financial performance, meet market targets, or reduce tax burdens. The purpose of this study is to determine the determinants of earnings management, such as intellectual capital, inflation, and third-party funds. This study utilizes information taken from the financial reports of manufacturers listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) using a purposive sampling method that meets the exploratory steps. This research period was taken over three years, with 78 observations used from 26 manufacturing companies. This research method used Eviews 12 with secondary data types. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence between intellectual capital on profit management, and there is no influence of inflation on profit management, and third party funds do not have a significant influence on profit management..

In modern soccer, lower-limb power is a crucial component that determines an athlete’s performance in sprinting, kicking, and jumping. This study aimed to compare the effects of Squat jump and Hexagon jump plyometric exercises on lower limb power in youth soccer athletes from Garuda Timur Football Academy Surabaya. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a pretest–posttest two group design involving 12 athletes aged 14–17 years. Participants were divided into two groups of six: a Hexagon jump group and a Squat jump group. Lower limb power was assessed using the vertical jump test before and after the training intervention. Data were analyzed using the Matched Subject Ordinal Pairing (MSOP) method to determine the relative effectiveness of both training types. The results indicated that both exercises significantly improved athletes’ vertical jump performance. However, the Hexagon jump exercise showed greater effectiveness, with a winning proportion of 67% (4 out of 6 pairs) compared to 33% for the Squat jump. The superior results of the Hexagon jump group were attributed to its multidirectional movement pattern, which provides greater stimulation of coordination, balance, and neuromuscular reactivity. Therefore, it can be concluded that Hexagon jump training is more effective than Squat jump in enhancing lower limb power among youth soccer athletes.

The growing demand for natural, sustainable personal care products has driven interest in perfumes formulated with plant-based essential oils and natural fixatives. This study aims to develop and evaluate base-note perfumes using essential oils extracted from three Indonesian aromatic leaves—lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), basil (Ocimum basilicum), and kaffir lime (Citrus hystrix)—combined with jasmine (Jasminum sambac) oil as a fixative. Essential oils were extracted by hydrodistillation, and three formulations were prepared, each containing a 30:70 blend of essential oil to ethanol. The perfumes underwent organoleptic testing by 15 trained panelists, along with evaluations of fragrance longevity (over 12 hours) and stain effects on paper substrates. Among the formulations, the blend of kaffir lime and jasmine (Formula 2) exhibited the highest average scores across sensory parameters, including fragrance intensity and freshness. It also retained a perceptible aroma for more than 12 hours and showed minimal staining. The results indicate that natural perfumes made with local essential oils and jasmine fixatives can meet consumer expectations for quality and performance. This study highlights the potential of Indonesian aromatic plants in sustainable perfumery and suggests avenues for future innovation in natural fragrance design.

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of the Wadiah Savings Product (Hanabung) at KSPPS Hanada Quwais Sembada using a SWOT approach to identify internal strengths, weaknesses, external opportunities, and threats influencing the institution’s marketing performance. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method supported by qualitative data obtained from interviews with five key informants. Data analysis was conducted using the IFE and EFE matrices to evaluate the weight, rating, and score of each strategic factor. The findings indicate that KSPPS Hanada’s major strengths include strong member loyalty, personalized services, and compliance with sharia principles. The main weaknesses are conventional promotional activities, limited marketing human resources, and insufficient digital innovation. Opportunities arise from increasing public awareness of Islamic finance, while threats come from digital financial service competition and low financial literacy levels. With an IFE score of 3.10 and an EFE score of 2.75, the institution is positioned within a growth strategy. The study highlights the need for more innovative and adaptive marketing strategies through digitalization, human resource development, and continuous financial literacy initiatives.

This study examines the factors affecting Ship Agency Company Performance (Y) at Tanjung Emas Port, Semarang. The focus is on four independent variables: Waiting Time Perception (X1), Loading and Unloading Productivity (X2), Document Handling (X3), and Human Resources (X4). Using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis, data were collected from 100 employees across 27 agency companies. The results indicate that all four independent variables have a positive and significant partial effect on company performance. Waiting Time Perception (X1) was identified as the most dominant factor, with a coefficient of β=0.322\beta = 0.322β=0.322 and tcount=3.152t_{count} = 3.152tcount​=3.152, suggesting that docking time efficiency (influenced by pilot services and vessel intensity) is the key determinant of agency performance. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2R^2R2) is 0.370, indicating that 37% of the variation in performance is explained by the model, while the remaining 63% is influenced by external factors such as weather and macro policies. This study underscores the importance of managing port time effectively and improving Human Resources competencies to enhance agency performance in congested and digitized maritime environments, offering strategic recommendations for regulators and port managers.
