Christian religioun education regarding values ​​and ethics must be able to guide and  develop the  character and ethical values ​​according to what is taught in the Bible, for students at school have the right foundation from an early age. The method used is an analytical method that analyzes problems using qualitative methods with a study approach. This research relates to data or written material that is appropriate to the topic of discussion. Christ's character education method given to children is not just theoretical, but as parents directly and automatically become teachers who must teach noble values ​​in the family and provide and share role models for children to emulate. Character education is a system of instilling and developing character values ​​in children which includes knowledge, awareness or will, and actions to implement these values, both towards God, oneself, others, the environment and nationality so that they become virtuous human beings.

This study investigates the relationship between business ethics and VAT implementation with the aim of assessing the combined effect of both on the financial performance of B2B companies. The main theories underlying this study are the Ability to Pay Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Ratio Analysis Theory. The study uses a positive research philosophy approach and a quantitative case study design with a structured questionnaire involving 30 respondents from PT Bhinneka Mentari Dimensi or Bhinneka.Com, the oldest B2B e-Commerce company in Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results show that VAT implementation indirectly affects financial performance through business morality. This mediating role is associated with stakeholder theory and the ability to pay. The low direct effect of VAT is related to an efficient company structure, company size, and reliance on self-reported data. B2B companies should embed business ethics principles in their operations, with management implementing a framework to ensure accountability in tax reporting and practices. The originality of this study contributes to the literature by emphasizing the distinctive role of business ethics as a bridge in the relationship between VAT implementation and financial performance of B2B companies, shifting attention from general tax compliance to specific VAT mechanisms and incorporating ethical dimensions in financial analysis.

Character education is a fundamental aspect in the effort to shape individuals with morals, ethics, and responsibility amidst the currents of globalization and modernization. The phenomenon of moral crisis, ethical degradation, and dehumanization emphasizes the urgency of character education that is not only oriented towards intellectual intelligence, but also emphasizes spiritual and social values. In this context, the thoughts of Ahmad Amin, a modern Islamic thinker, are relevant to be re-examined. Ahmad Amin emphasized the importance of Islamic values ​​as a foundation for ethics and morality that are both universal and contextual, thus able to address the needs of modern humans who are facing complex challenges in various aspects of life. This study uses a library research method with a qualitative approach. The main data sources are Ahmad Amin's works related to the concept of morals and education, supplemented by supporting literature discussing character education and its relevance in today's development. The analysis was conducted descriptively and analytically to examine Ahmad Amin's ideas and relate them to the needs of modern society. The results of the study indicate that Ahmad Amin's thoughts on character education are rooted in Islamic moral principles that emphasize the balance between spiritual, intellectual, and social aspects. Values ​​such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and social awareness are at the heart of healthy character development. This thinking is relevant to the needs of the modern era, marked by a moral crisis, and therefore can serve as an alternative paradigm for character education that adapts to current developments while remaining grounded in Islamic values. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ahmad Amin's thinking is not only of historical value but also makes a significant contribution to developing character education based on Islamic values, capable of maintaining spiritual orientation while addressing the challenges of modernity.

Divine love is the ultimate goal of human life and occupies the highest maqam in the spiritual journey. This love begins from self-love that grows because it always remembers the Creator (Allah), then dissolves in dhikr and deep spiritual contemplation, until a person begins to let go of his attachment to the world and prefers closeness to Allah. Love for Allah is a deep mental condition, in which the beloved (human) is willing to open the veil of his ego in order to welcome the presence of the true Lover (Allah). In this context, Jalaluddin Rumi's thinking is particularly relevant, especially when viewed philosophically as to how Divine love becomes possible to grow in a person. It can also be seen as an answer to the disruptive attempts of Western thought that tend to separate spirituality and human existence. Morality is a principle that is closely related to good and bad in human behavior. Human actions are inseparable from moral judgment, whether they are right or wrong, good or bad. Humans as spiritual beings have an awareness of the meaning and purpose of life, different from other beings who, although intelligent, do not have an existential dimension and transcendent consciousness. This awareness is the basis for the emergence of moral responsibility and the search for the true meaning of life.

As the first principle of Pancasila, Belief in the One and Only God holds a fundamental position in shaping the moral and spiritual direction of the Indonesian nation. Divinity serves not only as an ideological foundation but also as an ethical guideline guiding individual behavior and national life. In the current global context, where secularism is rapidly advancing and encouraging a separation between religion and the public sphere, the relevance of divinity is even stronger. Uncontrolled secularism has the potential to weaken the moral foundations of society, erode social solidarity, and trigger a value crisis that threatens national integrity. Divinity serves as a counterbalance to global trends often dominated by materialistic and individualistic views. In this situation, strengthening divinity principles is a strategic necessity, both in the formulation of public policy, the national education system, and in the practice of social life. Public policies based on divinity can ensure that development does not merely pursue economic growth, but also pays attention to social justice, shared prosperity, and the preservation of human values. In education, internalizing religious values encourages the development of students' character with integrity, respect for diversity, and high moral awareness. Meanwhile, in the social realm, the application of these values strengthens tolerance, maintains harmony between religious communities, and affirms unity in diversity. This article emphasizes that religious values are not merely normative ideological symbols, but rather pillars of national integration capable of addressing the challenges of the times. By reviving the spirit of Belief in the One and Only God in every aspect of life, Indonesia can confront the influence of global secularism without losing its spiritual identity, while simultaneously building a just, civilized, and sustainable society. In addition, the application of religious values in Pancasila also has strategic relevance in Indonesia's cultural diplomacy and foreign policy.

Moral and social education in Islam plays a crucial role in shaping children's character, developing noble character and social responsibility. In this context, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) serves as a prime role model, whose behavior and sayings provide comprehensive guidance for the development of character values. This study aims to analyze authentic hadiths depicting the Prophet's interactions with children to uncover key moral and social values that can be integrated into contemporary Islamic education. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic analysis techniques. Data were collected from relevant authentic hadith literature and then analyzed to identify moral values such as honesty, compassion, justice, empathy, and respect for children's rights. The analysis also considered the historical and social context of the hadiths, allowing interpretations of the values to be tailored to current educational needs. The results show that the Prophet Muhammad taught moral and social principles not only through verbal statements but also through concrete examples in his daily life. For example, he demonstrated gentleness toward children, respected their opinions, appreciated good behavior, and reprimanded them wisely when mistakes occurred. This approach creates an educational pattern that is not authoritarian, but rather builds positive emotional bonds between educators and students. These findings emphasize the relevance of prophetic values in shaping character education in the modern era, which often faces challenges of morality and the degradation of social values. Integrating these values into the curriculum and educational practices in schools and families is expected to produce individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also possess high moral integrity and social sensitivity.

In today's digital era, technological development is occurring rapidly and having a significant impact on various aspects of human life, including Islamic da'wah. The transformation of the spread of Islamic teachings in the digital age has become inevitable along with the rapid advancement of information technology, particularly with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This study aims to explore how AI is utilized in spreading Islamic values and analyze the accompanying ethical and theological challenges. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, which includes a review of scientific journals, articles, and contemporary Islamic documents. The results show that AI has been applied in various forms of digital da'wah. For example, Islamic chatbots that can automatically answer religious questions, prayer and other worship reminder applications, and Quran learning platforms equipped with voice recognition and tajweed recitation technology. Although innovative and promising, the use of AI in da'wah poses challenges, particularly the threat to authority over scientific knowledge, the validity of religious content, and the risk of dehumanization in the process of conveying Islamic teachings. Therefore, an adaptive yet ethical approach to Islamic preaching is needed, involving collaboration between religious scholars, academics, and technology experts. This approach must take into account the values of Islamic law, morality in digital communication, and sensitivity to the cultural context of Muslims. Thus, AI-based Islamic preaching can be an innovative solution for effectively reaching a wider audience, without sacrificing the essence and spirituality taught by Islam itself. This article examines Ibn Khaldun's philosophical perspective on wages and its relevance to the wage system in Indonesia in the modern era. Ibn Khaldun, a prominent 14th-century Muslim thinker, emphasized that wages are closely linked to the value of work, social justice, and the economic stability of a society. In his Muqaddimah, he emphasized that establishing fair wages is not merely an economic issue but also a moral and social pillar that can prevent societal disintegration. Equitable wages, he argued, must be able to guarantee a decent living for workers and their families, while also supporting continued productivity and social cohesion. This study uses a qualitative normative approach through content analysis of relevant texts in the Muqaddimah and comparing them with wage policies in Indonesia, including minimum wage regulations, labor protection, and welfare policies. Data were obtained from library research, national regulations, and recent academic literature on wage policies. The results of the study indicate that although Indonesia has a minimum wage regulation, its implementation still faces significant challenges, particularly in ensuring fairness for informal sector and low-income workers. Factors such as regional economic inequality, inflation, and weak labor oversight often undermine the effectiveness of these policies. By revisiting the principles of Ibn Khaldun, this article offers the perspective that ideal wages should not only be measured by labor market needs but should also integrate principles of ethics, morality, and social responsibility. This integration is expected to strengthen worker welfare, increase national productivity, and maintain long-term economic stability. This study also provides a relevant philosophical framework for critiquing and reforming wage policies in Indonesia, with reference to the values of justice and welfare in classical Islamic economics.

In the context of Indonesia’s evolving insurance landscape, this study examines the legal protection afforded to policyholders of the BLife Plan MultiPro unit-linked life insurance product against uncertainties in end-of-contract benefit payments. Employing a doctrinal-normative and historical approach, the research analyzes statutory provisions from Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection through Law No. 40 of 2014 on Insurance and POJK regulations to evaluate the efficacy of preventive (transparency requirements), corrective (mediation and arbitration), repressive (administrative sanctions), and restorative (insurance guarantee scheme) mechanisms. Integrating Fuller’s internal morality of law, Hart’s open-texture theory, and Knight’s risk-uncertainty distinction, the findings reveal that regulatory evolution has progressively enhanced policyholder protection from 65% under the 1999 framework to 95% under the forthcoming 2028 guarantee scheme yet practical gaps persist in consumer education and claims standardization. The study recommends clarifying policy clauses, streamlining administrative procedures, and enhancing judicial discretion to fortify legal certainty and restore consumer confidence

Honesty (ṣidq) is a core value in Islamic teachings that not only shapes individual behavior but also plays a vital role in establishing a just, trustworthy, and moral society. In various authentic hadiths, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized that honesty leads to righteousness (al-birr), and righteousness leads to Paradise. Conversely, lying leads to wickedness and Hell, and is one of the signs of hypocrisy. This study aims to explore the significance of honesty in Islam based on the Prophet’s hadiths and the explanations of classical scholars. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. Primary data sources include authentic hadith compilations such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, while secondary data are drawn from relevant scholarly literature. The analysis applies a thematic approach by grouping hadiths on honesty into sub-themes and interpreting their contexts and meanings. The findings show that honesty must be cultivated continuously, is a sign of true faith, and a condition for attaining divine blessings in all aspects of life, including economic transactions (mu‘āmalāt). Scholars such as Imam al-Nawawī, Ibn Rajab, and Ibn Ḥajar unanimously affirm that honesty is the root of all virtue and a source of spiritual light. Thus, honesty in Islam is not merely a social ethic but a spiritual path to divine pleasure and salvation in both this world and the hereafter. The analysis follows a thematic approach, categorizing the hadiths related to honesty into sub-themes and interpreting their contexts and deeper meanings. The findings emphasize that honesty is an essential part of true faith, continuously cultivated by believers, and a necessary condition for receiving divine blessings in all areas of life, including economic transactions (mu‘āmalāt). Scholars like Imam al-Nawawī, Ibn Rajab, and Ibn Ḥajar unanimously assert that honesty is the foundation of all virtues and a source of spiritual enlightenment. This study examines the regulation of adultery and cohabitation (living together without marriage) from the perspective of Islamic law and Indonesian positive law, especially after the enactment of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code (KUHP). In Islamic law, adultery is a hudud crime that has strict and permanent sanctions (qat'i). Islamic law considers adultery as an act that damages morality, honor, and lineage, and provides severe punishment for the perpetrators. The purpose of implementing this punishment is to maintain social integrity and protect the family as the smallest unit in society. Cohabitation, which is considered an illegitimate relationship according to Islamic law, is seen as a form of adultery that is not tolerated both socially and legally. Therefore, this act is not only considered a violation of religious norms, but also a threat to the desired social order in Islam. Meanwhile, in the context of Indonesian positive law, the 2023 Criminal Code expands the formulation of the crime of adultery and explicitly regulates cohabitation as a criminal offense. Based on this provision, adultery and cohabitation can be prosecuted, although they are still classified as absolute complaint offenses, meaning that these acts can only be prosecuted if there is a report from an interested party. This shows that although there are differences in law enforcement between Islamic law and positive law, both share a common goal: to protect morality and public order. The approach used in this study is normative juridical with a qualitative analysis method of Islamic legal norms and national statutory provisions. This study aims to compare the perspectives of the two legal systems on adultery and cohabitation, and to find common ground between the two.

This study aims to determine whether the Penal and Non-Penal Integral Policy can be implemented to increase the effectiveness of eradicating online gambling crimes and to determine the obstacles faced by the local government in implementing the Integral Policy on Online Gambling Crimes in Surakarta. This type of research uses empirical legal research, with a descriptive research nature. The research location is at the Surakarta Police, Surakarta City. The types and sources of data in the study consist of two types, primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are by observation, interview, and decision study techniques. The results of this study show that the causes of the rampant online gambling in the Surakarta Police area are economic problems, community disobedience to the law, morality factors, low Human Resources (HR), and tradition. The eradication of online gambling in the Surakarta Police area can be said to be effective, although in reality online gambling continues to grow, but during the last five years (2020-2025) there has only been one case file handled regarding online gambling, However, the role of the Police in handling online gambling cases is still limited, so that the perpetrators of gambling are only subject to Article 303 of the Criminal Code concerning gambling. and in handling online gambling cases, there are various obstacles found in the field, both in terms of time, costs and processes that are not easy to imagine.

This article discusses the dynamics of Islamic education during the Sultanate of Banten, an Islamic kingdom that developed since the 16th century and became one of the centers of Islamic civilization in the archipelago. Islamic education in Banten not only shapes the Islamic identity of the community, but also strengthens morality, social solidarity, and cultural resilience. Islamic boarding schools are the main pillars of education that integrate the teaching of religious science, character education, and socio-religious practices. The role of pesantren expands, not only as a learning center, but also as a da'wah institution that instills the values of independence, justice, and brotherhood in the midst of a multicultural society. Great scholars such as Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani and Sheikh Yusuf al-Makassari have an important role in strengthening the scientific network between Banten, the Middle East, and the Islamic world. Their profound works in the fields of jurisprudence, Sufism, and morals had a great influence on the development of Islamic thought in Southeast Asia. The pesantren curriculum that focuses on the yellow book, with the teaching methods of sorogan, bandongan, and wetonan, produces students who are not only knowledgeable, but also disciplined, moral, and sensitive to social problems. The Dutch colonial period brought severe challenges with secular policies and restrictions on Islamic education. However, pesantren still exist as spiritual and intellectual fortresses. This success is supported by the ability of pesantren to develop economic independence and expand scientific networks through the overseas migration of students to various Islamic study centers abroad. Until now, Banten's Islamic education heritage has transformed into a modern Islamic boarding school that is able to combine classical traditions with technology and global insights. This study confirms that traditional Islamic education in Banten has a strategic role in shaping the social, spiritual, and identity structure of the Muslim community, which persists across generations.

This study aims to explore daily activities that can improve ecological moral awareness among students of the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD). Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study focuses on students' daily behaviors such as waste management, energy conservation, and participation in environmental programs. The results show that consistent small habits can shape strong ecological awareness and impact students' character and pedagogical competence. The development of ecological moral awareness is not only essential for students’ personal identity formation but also forms the foundation for instilling character education in elementary school students.

This paper discusses the study of politics from an Islamic perspective, which not only examines power and governance but also serves as a foundation for the development of political ethics rooted in the spiritual and moral values of the Qur'an and Hadith. The approach used is a literature review, analyzing relevant texts on Islamic politics, political ethics, and leadership concepts in Islam. In Islam, politics is regarded as a form of worship that must be carried out based on the principles of tawhid (monotheism), justice, shura (consultation), and social responsibility. Concepts such as khalifah (caliphate), shura, and maslahah (public interest) serve as key pillars in the ethical governance system aimed at the welfare of the ummah (community). Furthermore, this paper highlights the importance of political morality (akhlaq siyasah) as a moral foundation for leaders and political actors, while also exploring the distinction between ethics (akhlaq) and morality in the Islamic context. The findings indicate that integrating political studies with Islamic values can create a model of governance that is not only structurally strong but also morally and spiritually elevated. Thus, Islam offers a holistic normative framework for building a just and civilized political system.

This study discusses the character of Acha in the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF using Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic approach. Acha is described as a teenager who is persistent in pursuing love, but has a complex inner conflict. This study was conducted because psychological issues, especially in teenagers, are very relevant in modern life. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with Freud's structural analysis of personality, namely id, ego, and superego. In this study, Acha shows the dominance of the id when expressing love impulsively, the ego when adjusting to the bitter reality, and the superego when choosing honesty even though it is painful. The presence of supporting characters also strengthens Acha's psychological dynamics in the story. The results of the study show that Acha's internal conflict is a reflection of the struggle between desire, reality, and morality, and describes the process of maturing teenage characters. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of psychological dynamics in literary works and their relevance to the lives of teenagers today.

This Moral education in basic education has an important role in shaping the character and morals of children from an early age. This research aims to highlight the importance of moral education in the basic education curriculum. This research method includes analysis of literature and secondary data related to the effectiveness of moral education in early childhood. The research results show that the integration of moral education in the basic education curriculum can increase moral awareness, empathy and positive behavior in students. The implications of this research indicate the need for greater emphasis on moral education at the basic education level to form a generation with noble morals.

This study explores the tension between freedom of expression and the enforcement of criminal law in the digital space, using a case study of political memes depicting national figures Prabowo Subianto and Joko Widodo in a satirical context. The case sparked controversy after law enforcement authorities applied morality provisions from Indonesia's Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE), which many experts consider irrelevant to the substance of the content. Employing a qualitative approach through literature review, the analysis is framed within three theoretical perspectives: Constitutional Democracy Theory, Human Rights Theory, and Criminal Law Theory. The findings reveal that the application of ambiguous provisions in the UU ITE to digital expression has the potential to violate the rule of law, restrict civil liberties, and create a chilling effect on citizens' political participation. Consequently, this study recommends legal reform and the enhancement of digital literacy as strategies to strengthen constitutional democracy in the digital era.

Empathy is generally understood as the ability to feel and understand the feelings of others, the nature of empathy is very necessary and very crucial in Islamic social ethics and morality. In the treasury of Islam, the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SWT is the second source of teachings after the Qur'an playing a central role in shaping the understanding of human values, including empathy. This study focuses on the analysis of the position and teaching of empathy in the hadiths of the Prophet, as well as its impact on the formation of Muslim social character. Using qualitative methods and literature studies, this study analyzes hadiths that clearly or implicitly convey messages of empathy. The findings of the study show that in the hadith, empathy is not just an emotional response, but a manifestation of moral responsibility that is manifested through compassion, justice, solidarity, and concern for others. Thus, the hadiths of the Prophet become a normative basis that emphasizes the significance of empathy as the main pillar in realizing a civilized and just Islamic society.
