Demographic changes and the acceleration of digital transformation have presented new challenges in leadership practices, especially in the healthcare sector of ASEAN countries. Generation Z, who grew up in a digital environment, brings different values and preferences to leadership styles. This study aims to identify the leadership model that best suits the characteristics of Gen Z in the context of healthcare, as well as analyze the contextual factors that influence it in the Southeast Asian region. This study uses a qualitative approach based on literature studies from various academic publications and empirical findings in ASEAN countries. Data are analyzed thematically to reveal the leadership patterns that are most relevant to the needs of Gen Z in the health sector. The study results show that transformational, participatory, and digital-based leadership styles are more effective for leading Gen Z healthcare workers. This generation rejects leadership models that are tightly controlled or micromanaged, and prefers leaders who support autonomy, collaboration, and innovation. Local cultural factors, such as traditional values and social collectivity, also reinforce the importance of adapting leadership styles to diverse cultural contexts. Leadership success is also greatly influenced by the leader's ability to bridge cross-generational differences and manage communication effectively. These findings contribute to the development of a generationally and contextually relevant leadership model, as well as serve as a reference in formulating HR development strategies and leadership training programs in multigenerational health organizations in Southeast Asia.

The application of discipline as a character education training strategy in early childhood plays a crucial role in shaping children's personality, behavior, and social skills. This study aims to analyze theoretically and practically how discipline can be applied as a character formation strategy in early childhood, considering the role of the family and school environment. The research method uses a qualitative approach through a literature review of 15 Sinta-accredited journal articles in 2020–2024. The results of the study show that positive discipline based on examples, praise, and behavioral habits is more effective than the punishment approach. Families and schools play a role as the main environment in instilling discipline values, although there are still gaps in the application of practices and adaptations in various socio-cultural contexts. This study recommends collaboration between parents and teachers, the development of creative strategies in schools, and the need for further, more in-depth research to optimize the application of discipline as a foundation for character formation in early childhood

This technical guidance (bimtek) activity was held with the primary objective of improving the digital capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) members of the Papua Gallery in Sorong City. The approach used was quite unique because it combined information technology, specifically the e-commerce platform Odoo, with a sociological perspective of religion. This approach places the values of faith, community ethics, and local culture as the main foundation in the digital transformation process being carried out. This activity was carried out by a team of lecturers from Victory University Sorong from the Information Systems and Sociology of Religion Study Program, and involved students as part of community service. The implementation process included several stages: an assessment of MSMEs' digital needs, technical training on using Odoo, direct assistance in implementing the dare store, evaluation of results, and ongoing follow-up. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in digital literacy among MSMEs, success in creating and managing online stores independently, and a growing awareness that business digitization is not only an economic necessity, but also part of spiritual and social responsibility. In addition, this activity also helped strengthen the branding and presence of local Papuan culture through digital media. This faith- and cultural-based training model has proven effective and relevant for replication in other MSME communities in different regions, especially those with strong local cultural and religious potential.

This study examines the social and cultural values in the drama script Gerbong by Agam Wispi through a literary anthropology approach. The research is grounded in the role of literature as a reflection of socio-cultural values, with Gerbong selected for its rich portrayal of post-revolution Indonesian societal dynamics, which has yet to be holistically analyzed from an anthropological perspective. The aim is to identify the manifestations of socio-cultural values through dramatic structures such as dialogue, characterization, and conflict. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, analyzing narrative and symbolic elements within the script. Findings reveal that social values are reflected in non-familial solidarity, critiques of revolutionary injustice, humanism amid adversity, and women’s resistance to stigmatization. Cultural values emerge through the gerbong (train carriage) as a metaphor for resilience, collective sacrifice, and a belief in independence preserved through oral traditions. Intergenerational conflicts between colonial and post-independence values highlight cultural dynamics in postcolonial transition. The study recommends integrating the script into educational curricula, exploring its performative dimensions, and conducting further interdisciplinary research on power relations and gender representation.

Based on various studies and studies, the LGBT phenomenon in Indonesia, especially in the Pekanbaru area, is still often viewed negatively because it is considered contrary to local social and cultural norms. Several factors that influence the emergence of LGBT sexual orientation include childhood experiences, the influence of the social environment, and conditions within the family. Psychological interventions such as group counseling with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach combined with religious values, such as in Islamic counseling, have proven effective in reducing inner conflict, increasing the ability to manage emotions, and encouraging acceptance and self-confidence of LGBT individuals. This approach also helps replace irrational thought patterns and strengthens emotional resilience, although cultural and social challenges are still major obstacles. On the other hand, the importance of multicultural competence for professionals is also highly emphasized in dealing with issues related to LGBT and their emotional health. Education about sexuality and increasing public understanding of diversity are considered important to reduce stigma and discrimination against the LGBT community. Overall, the results of this study indicate the need for an appropriate psychological approach and educational efforts to create social acceptance and improve the welfare of LGBT individuals.

Performance audit is a strategic instrument to strengthen transparency and accountability in the governance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). However, current practices of BUMDes auditing in Indonesia remain limited, fragmented, and often fail to uphold the principles of good governance. This study aims to identify and synthesize the implementation of performance audits in BUMDes across various regions through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 28 articles published between 2013 and 2024. Sources were obtained from Scopus, DOAJ, Google Scholar, and Garuda, with thematic analysis applied. The study identifies five core issues: weak internal audit mechanisms, limited community participation, low utilization of information technology, cultural resistance, and the role of audits in improving village economic performance. The paper proposes a participatory audit model grounded in local familial values and supported by appropriate digital tools. This hybrid model is contextually suited to promote accountability in rural areas where institutional capacity is limited but social cohesion is strong. Theoretically, this research extends the relevance of stewardship theory and participatory governance to micro-level public sector entities. Policy implications highlight the need for adaptive, community-based audit mechanisms as a foundation for accountable rural development

This research explores an in-depth understanding of how society responds to insurance policy analysis in non-bank financial institutions through a phenomenological approach. The findings show that limited financial literacy is the main challenge in understanding the complexity of insurance products outside of banking. The influence of personal experience, cultural values, and risk perceptions also shape people's perceptions of the value of insurance. Additionally, variations in participation levels and decision-making patterns were also revealed, weakening the understanding of risk levels. These financial literacy challenges cause chaos and confusion, hindering public participation in insurance products at non-bank financial institutions. Efforts to improve financial literacy and increase understanding of insurance claims are crucial to stimulate optimal community participation. The application of insurance remains relevant in helping people overcome financial problems due to unexpected events, building trust, and creating economic stability in the context of non-bank financial institutions.
