Tulungagung Regency has the potential for culinary tourism that can be developed, one of which is traditional culinary. Although the Tulungagung Regency Government has presented a "Halal Culinary Area" and a "Pinka Culinary Tourism Area", the area has not fully provided an interesting visual and functional experience. Therefore, it is necessary to design a space that facilitates traditional culinary MSMEs as well as an educational and recreational place. This design carries the theme of contemporary tropical architecture by considering local climatic conditions, through the application of wide openings, cross ventilation, wide trellises, and the use of natural materials, as well as expressive styles with the shape of a rooster roof and the basic shape of an elliptical building as a symbol of adaptation to climate change and the economy in the business environment. The facilities in this design include traditional restaurants, educational bales, wiyata offices, prayer rooms, playgrounds and other supporting facilities that can attract the interest of the community and introduce traditional Tulungagung culinary.

The development of information technology has driven digital transformation in various sectors, including the food and beverage (F&B) industry. However, many small to medium-scale F&B businesses still rely on manual ordering systems, resulting in long queues, order recording errors, limited menu information, and suboptimal user experience. This study aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of a web-based Smart Ordering System that provides convenience, efficiency, and comfort in the food ordering process. The research method used is the Design Thinking approach, which includes empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing stages. The design process involves user needs analysis, user flow development, wireframe creation, and high-fidelity prototype development using Figma. Usability testing is conducted using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) method to evaluate ease of use and user satisfaction. The results indicate that the proposed UI/UX design provides a clear ordering flow, intuitive interface, and easy-to-understand user experience. Based on the SEQ results, most users experienced no difficulty in using the system, indicating that the design meets usability criteria with a very good category and is suitable for implementation in the F&B industry.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia's economic development, particularly in developing products based on local wisdom. Toko Jayabaru is an MSME that markets Maumere's signature souvenirs made from traditional ikat woven fabric, facing various challenges and opportunities amid business and tourism dynamics. This study aims to identify internal and external factors affecting Toko Jayabaru's performance and formulate appropriate business development strategies through SWOT analysis. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through in-depth interviews with the owner and management of Toko Jayabaru. Data analysis uses the SWOT framework (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to identify the business's strategic position and formulate alternative development strategies. Toko Jayabaru's main strengths lie in strong local cultural identity, authentic product quality, and adequate business experience. Weaknesses include limited digital marketing, restricted production capacity, and lack of derivative product variations. Opportunities encompass Flores tourism sector growth, increasing interest in local products, and potential strategic collaborations. Main threats are competition from similar products, influx of imitation products, and dependence on tourism sector fluctuations. Recommended development strategies include strengthening branding through storytelling, diversifying woven derivative products, optimizing digital marketing, strategic collaboration with tourism stakeholders, enhancing human resource capacity, and implementing customer loyalty programs. Implementation of these strategies is expected to increase MSME competitiveness while preserving Maumere's local culture.

The revision of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Law fundamentally changes the concept of SOE losses by emphasizing that losses incurred in SOE operations constitute corporate losses, not state financial losses. This change has a direct impact on the construction of directors' accountability, which has often been associated with corruption when companies experience losses. This study aims to analyze the provisions of SOE directors' responsibilities based on Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles within the new regulatory framework, as well as to examine the application of sanctions against directors who violate these principles and cause corporate losses. The study uses normative legal methods with statutory, conceptual, and case-based approaches. The analysis was conducted by examining the provisions of the Limited Liability Company Law, the revised SOE Law, related implementing regulations, and several important decisions, such as those concerning Jiwasraya, Asabri, Garuda Indonesia, and Pertamina-TPPI. The results show that the principles of GCG, fiduciary duty, and the Business Judgment Rule are the primary instruments in assessing directors' actions. Civil and administrative sanctions are the first line of defense for assessing directors' accountability, while criminal sanctions can only be imposed if there is an element of abuse of authority, conflict of interest, or other fraudulent acts. This research emphasizes the need for a clear distinction between business risks and unlawful acts to prevent directors from being criminalized for business decisions made in good faith and in accordance with good corporate governance principles. These findings are expected to serve as a reference in formulating state-owned enterprise policies and promoting more proportionate law enforcement against directors.

This study aims to understand behavioral considerations in decision-making regarding business equipment procurement at UMKM Sido Maju Marsudi. This research applies a qualitative method with a case study approach. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the business owner. The findings reveal that equipment procurement decisions are not solely influenced by economic rationality but also by behavioral factors such as intuition, experience, and social values. The business owner balances financial benefits with non-financial satisfaction, including customer trust, product quality, and maintaining the traditional identity of “roti kering jadul.” The decision-making process is simple, experience-based, and guided by social recommendations, reflecting bounded rationality. Evaluations are carried out informally by observing production outcomes and customer feedback. This study concludes that behavioral and experiential aspects play a crucial role in shaping adaptive and sustainable business decisions among micro and small enterprises

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality, store atmosphere, and word of mouth on repurchase intention of Batik Lochatara Kediri consumers. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 96 respondents who are customers of Batik Lochatara Kediri, selected using accidental sampling. The research instrument was measured using a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results reveal that partially, word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, while service quality and store atmosphere do not show a significant effect. However, simultaneously, service quality, store atmosphere, and word of mouth have a significant influence on repurchase intention. These findings indicate that positive consumer recommendations and shared experiences play a more dominant role in encouraging repurchase intention in the context of local batik MSMEs. Therefore, strengthening word-of-mouth strategies is essential to enhance customer loyalty and business sustainability.

This study aims to analysis the impact of the presence of coal transport parking areas on the Income of the Informal Sector, identify the most dominant factors influencing Income, and examine the socio-economic impact experienced by informal sector business actors in Muara Tembesi District. This study uses a quantitative approach with Multiple Linear Regression analysis and Classical Assumption Tests to test the hypotheses. Data were obtained through surveys of informal sector business owners around the parking areas. The dependent variable is Income, while the independent variables include Age, Education, Working Hours, Initial Capital, and Distance. Comparative descriptive analysis is used to validate socio-economic changes. Data analysis shows that working hours, initial capital, and distance have a positive and significant impact on the income of informal sector business actors, whereas age and education do not significantly affect the income of informal sector business actors. Descriptively, there has been massive welfare migration, indicated by the decrease in the proportion of low-income respondents from 60 percent to only 2 percent after the intervention. The presence of parking pockets has been proven to provide a positive and transformative economic impact for the informal sector. This impact is driven by increased production inputs (Capital and Working Hours). On the other hand, logistics activities generate negative external impacts in the form of dust pollution and security risks, which require strict regulation by the Local Government.

The Community Service Program (KKN) of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University of North Sumatra, in Aek Kota Batu Village, North Labuhanbatu Regency, was carried out as a form of community service focusing on digital-based economic empowerment. This program originated from the low level of digital literacy and the limited ability of micro-entrepreneurs to utilize technology as a means of promotion and financial transactions. The main objective of this activity is to enhance the community’s ability to use digital maps and the QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payment system as a strategy to expand market reach and create transaction efficiency. The method used is the Participatory Rural Appraisal approach, with stages including observation, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity show that the community experienced an increased understanding of digital technology and was able to apply digital mapping to ten local business units. In addition, several business actors have implemented QRIS in daily transactions, which has proven to improve convenience and security in financial dealings. From the perspective of Islamic economics, this activity represents the values of maslahah (public benefit), itqan (excellence), and tawazun (balance) in the community’s economic life. Thus, this program successfully created a socio-economic transformation based on Islamic values and can serve as a model for digital economy-based community service programs at the village level.

Legal protection for consumers is a crucial element in the legal relationship between business actors and the public, particularly in high-risk service sectors such as gas stove repair services. In practice, many consumers still experience losses due to negligence by service providers, whether caused by inadequate technical handling or insufficient information regarding the condition of the stove after repairs. This study aims to identify and analyze the forms of legal protection available to consumers who suffer losses as a result of such negligence, as well as to determine the types of legal liability that may be imposed on gas stove repair service providers. Using a normative legal research method, this study applies both legislative and conceptual approaches. The legislative approach examines relevant laws and regulations concerning consumer protection, while the conceptual approach analyzes legal principles and expert doctrines related to liability. The findings indicate that consumer protection is provided in two forms: preventive protection, which ensures product and service safety in accordance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI), and repressive protection, which is implemented through enforcement mechanisms such as claims for compensation or dispute resolution through the Consumer Dispute Settlement Agency (BPSK) or the courts. Business actors who commit negligence in providing repair services can be held legally responsible based on the principles of negligence or strict liability. To strengthen consumer protection, the study recommends the establishment of derivative regulations concerning technician certification, standardized repair service procedures, and integrated supervision of safety compliance within the gas stove repair service industry.

This research aims to throughly explore the differentiation strategy model implemented by the small-medium enterprise (SME) grocery store of  "Yussandi Komunika," in integrating digital transaction services such as prepaid credits, electricity tokens, and e-wallet top-ups, as an effort to create a competitive advantage. The background of the problem is driven by the highly competitive conditions in densely populated areas, where traditional grocery stores are compelled to transform in order to maintain their business relevance.Digital service innovation, presented through an adaptive and user-focused platform, has proven to be a core competency that is difficult to imitate and rare, simultaneously providing a sustainable competitive advantage. This innovation not only addresses the challenges of densely populated conditions but also establishes a new standard for efficiency and customer experience in a competitive market. The effective differentiation model for multi-service grocery stores in highly competitive areas is not solely based on price, but rather on a combination of services and the quality of interpersonal service. The store transforms into a "mini service point" offering one-stop shopping convenience for customers. The main differentiation strategies identified include: (1) Core Service Differentiation (offering comprehensive PPOB (Payment Point Online Banking) services and e-wallet balance availability), (2) Personnel Differentiation (quality of communication and speed of friendly service), and (3) Image Differentiation (creating a perception as a trustworthy and modern store).

This study explores the role of English in supporting the academic and professional development of management students, based on the lecturer’s reflections as both lecturer and researcher. As English becomes increasingly important in global education and employment, many students are required to read academic materials, complete assignments, and communicate using English. This study focuses on how English for Specific Purposes (ESP), especially Business English, helps students build discipline-related skills and prepare for real workplace communication. Using an autoethnographic approach, the researcher collected data from self-interviews, reflective teaching journals, and informal student feedback over one semester. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns in the lecturer’s experiences and observations. The findings show that English supports students’ academic growth by helping them understand textbooks, research articles, and business case studies. Students gained confidence in reading and presenting academic information after completing guided tasks. The results also indicate that ESP based on activities such as email writing, meeting simulations, and presentations strengthened students’ employability skills. These tasks helped students feel more prepared for internships and early career responsibilities. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of reflective teaching. By analyzing classroom challenges and student needs, the lecturer was able to improve teaching strategies, select more authentic materials, and provide better support for learners. This research shows that integrating ESP with employability goals can create meaningful learning experiences for management students. When English teaching is connected to real professional contexts, students develop both language proficiency and practical communication skills. The study also encourages lecturers to use reflection as a tool to enhance teaching quality and better support students’ academic and career preparation.
